AAAYD hard. I keep getting asked about my playlist and if they can get a copy, it was that good! Their online tool is very user friendly and if there are any questions you can always shoot them an email, response is prompt. You can leave notes to the DJ on the online tool as well, but your designated DJ will reach out a week before the event going over the event and to ask for questions or requests (We had Alex, he's bilingual and he was awesome :)) If you are organized and know what you want, they will make it happen (if there are songs they don't have they create a share folder for you to upload that song) but the majority of my songs were available and I was so happy! You cannot go wrong with Jeff and JPL, I wish I had more events to hire them because I definitely would. Super recommended, it was so much fun!

d tell they really cared about doing a good job for our wedding. I was a little disappointed in the fact that I requested a certain DJ, and then was never notified that they had set up a different one for our wedding. Our DJ, Matt, was so friendly and accommodating, but forgot to announce a few things at the wedding reception like when we were cutting the cake, etc. That is literally my only somewhat complaint, though. Overall, I would highly recommend using them for your wedding or event.

very detail down that I wanted as for the music. The photobooth was great as well. They had someone manning it at all times to help everyone get their props and take their pictures. There were so many funny props and signs. We also did a scrapbook for all of the pictures that were taken and guests got to answer the questions next to their picture. They custom make your book so it'll go with the theme of your wedding. We absolutely love ours. The pictures and the things our guests wrote were hilarious. Highly recommend this company. You won't be disappointed.

there was a certain point in the song when I wanted the doors to open and my dad and I begin our walk down the aisle, it was a song that I have had chosen for years and I wanted to make sure it was spot on! Our dj, who was out by the alter area outside, called my me and my wedding planner who were waiting in the barn for the music to start (we were inside so we could not hear it) he made sure to let us know right when the doors were to be opened and I could begin my walk down to coordinate with the song. It could not of gone any better and I will remember that moment all of my life!! During the reception, he was so much fun and made you feel at ease with everything going on! He listened to exactly what my husband and I wanted as far as song choice etc and went above and beyond. The flow of the entire night went so smoothly and everyone had a great time!! I highly recommend booking with them, you will not be disappointed!!

h me extensively to create the exact Photo Booth strip templates I had in mind. Finally, Manny was our DJ and emcee for our big night on 6/17/17 and was absolutely amazing. Kept everyone dancing and the timeline going as planned. Everyone at JPL was very professional, and I couldn't have asked for a better vendor to DJ/emcee my wedding.

They saved us a copy of every photo strip so we were able to go through everyone's pictures from that night (fun for the post wedding blues lol). He also was on top of taking charge and excusing tables for the buffet so there wasn't a huge line and we were able to start our rounds through the tables. There were minor glitches, my sister sang while I was walking down the aisle and the mic made a loud crack, but besides that I really enjoyed there services! They will call you a week before the wedding and make sure that everything is perfect, including pronunciation of everyone's names! Overall I am very pleased with them and heard nothing but compliments from my guests!

s were in Vietnamese and they tried really hard to make sure they pronounced it right yet they were so flexible to have someone else MC the introduction for us instead. We had a few changes to the schedule and they were very accommodating to it and the MC/DJ was very open about song requests. One of our guests was Australian and wanted to listen to songs from Australian artists and the DJ took the time out to research the songs and played every single one that was requested. He was also very very upbeat every time he talked through the microphone and it made the whole environment very uplifting. We had an amazing time with them. Thank you!

The photobooth was a hit for our wedding and provided such fun memories for us and for our guests (including such a sweet memory book with advice and notes from our guests!) I would highly recommend JPL Entertainment for photobooth services for anyone’s wedding!

I never heard of. We were all dancing on the dance floor and just kept staring at each other saying do you know this song? Which leads me to my main con. I was very upset that I had spent so much time creating a playlist only to not have a mojority of them played. I did allow the DJ to play his own song but I thought they would at least take into consideration the type of songs I had select and put on my playlist. The DJ started out with a different genre of music that was definitely not on my play list and no one started dancing until we went up to him to request the genre of music I had originally selected. I had selected the songs I did because I know my family and friends. I feel that they should have played the songs on my list and then if no one was dancing then they could put something else on that they know people would dance to. Also, half of the songs I requested to be played weren't even songs they had in their library (Texas Country).

nd professionalism was much appreciated. If you decline the photo booth and extra lighting options etc, the price is very reasonable for the Houston area. Their basic package in and of itself was great. I highly recommend for those in the Houston area!

We also used their photobooth package which was a huge hit the entire night and came with tons of props. hat I would like to play for certain event. I actually went with DJ's choices for most events, and it turned out great and right to my taste of music. Our DJ Grant also did a great job for my wedding on 08/27/2016. He was very professional and very good at maintaining a lively atmosphere for the wedding. The crazy hour props handed to the guests was a great booster for the fun, and the music played got a lot of the guests onto the dance floor. Everybody just had so much fun! I also booked lighting with JPL. The package has a very reasonable price for what I got. When I first walked into my reception hall with all the light shedding, I was like "wow" that looks amazing! Thanks JPL very much for the service and I would definitely recommend JPL to anybody that I know!

He was professional and made sure leading up to the wedding we were on the same page about all the details. I was very confident going into the wedding that he would do a great job, and he really exceeded my expectations. I'm not one to write reviews online, but Manny and JPL as a company really deserves it!!

was in the room to play certain songs. He never played the song I dedicated to my sister. And we had a special song request for the groom for when he was to dance with his moms, dance with his mom first and then his step mom halfway through. The DJ forgot because I had to go up and remind him and his step mom only got to dance with the groom for 20 seconds if that. He could've been more involved with the guests as well than he was. They weren't bad but it could've gone way better.

through the entire process. Jeff also has a wonderful store at his location that had the sparklers that I wanted that burned for longer than regular sparklers and so many beautiful decorations that I loved. Wendy, who helped with planning was great with helping us to organize the music and found all of the songs that we wanted. They made it easy with their planning tools to add all of the introductions and songs we wanted to play. Manny, our dj, did an incredible job at the event with the announcements and the song choices. He was there to help in any way he could. He even got on the dance floor and showed everyone how to dance to the Cottonhead Road song. He was upbeat and the device was

I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 because there are so many people that I had to talk to within the company to get the services I wanted. I spoke to at least 7 employees throughout my planning process. I felt like maybe 1 person could have been in charge of my "account" so I would have had 1 person to convey my ideas and vision to.

t what I would call a "photobooth". It was a gray curtain with a guy operating the computer in a box in front of it. I was so excited for our personal photo strip design- they pulled the design from our invitations. But I was heartbroken to see that instead of 2.21.15 it was 2.21.14! To be fair, I approved the proof with the wrong year on it. I am embarrassed to say that but even more so embarrassed that the company who specializes in this did not catch it until half way through the wedding. They did fix the date for the remaining photo strips but half of my guests have photo strips with the wrong date and are posting them to FB- very embarrassing and disappointing. They did send me reprints of the ones with the wrong date, nice but I don't particularly care if mine have the right date, I care that my guests have the wrong date. The DJ: I had booked Manny (highly recommended online) when I booked JPL, 6 months in advance. 3 days before the wedding they called to tell me that Manny may not be able to make it on time so they offered a substitute. My options were gamble that the DJ I booked 6 months in advance would be late or take a different DJ. So I took the replacement DJ. They are the professionals so I said the DJ can have their discretion with the music to keep people dancing (I wanted people dancing all night long). That being said, I had a lot of pre-requested songs picked out on their very extensive online worksheets. I had spent hours filling out the songs and details of the wedding on this online planner. He played a song on my "do not play list" because someone requested it- it says online that those songs will not be played even if requested by the guests. And I said we wanted a lot of country music. It was mainly pop which meant that my parents friends were not interested and barely danced. My frustration is boiling now because of all of the hard-work to plan this fabulous day that I feel was greatly hindered by the DJ's failure to play appropriate music. I accept partial blame for the complete disaster of the timeline. JPL has a policy to have all timelines in place 18 days prior to the wedding. Well we were adjusting ours until 3 days before. We were e-mailing, texting and calling one another to work through timeline adjustments. Well the DJ had a timeline that did not reflect any of our updates (they wasted so much of my time!). If they were not going to give him an updated timeline why did they waste my timeline in having to go back and forth? That being said I could have brought him an updated timeline! Our speeches had people getting up and down because I had to set him straight on the order of where breaks were and what speeches and dances. I feel that this utterly wrecked the flow of my wedding and made it seem very sloppy when I have my timeline down to 2 minute increments(no lack of planning on my part!). They were my second highest item in my wedding budget and I would have been happier paying half the price to just get a photo booth vendor, microphones and an ipod dock. Completely disappointed.

m for planning which I really liked. The reason I am giving them 3 stars is really simple. Despite the online form and speaking to them 2-3 times to go over our specific songs (first dance, father-daughter, etc.) - they got out first dance wrong. It was supposed to be "Adele - To Make You Feel My Love" - and instead we got an instrumental - no singing/words, not even an alternate artist. On top of our songs being discussed multiple times beforehand, the DJ even gave me a CD of our songs at the end of the night, and on the printed playlist (from them) it also clearly listed Adele as the artist. The rest of the night seemed to go ok but considering that was the first song (and, oh yeah, our first dance as a married couple) that really upset us. Sure, it was the "same" song, but considering the words were a huge factor in us choosing that song, it was a pretty awkward dance between my husband and I with everyone watching once I figured out it wasn't just a long intro. And what can you do? We can't really get that back and JPL came included in the cost of our venue.

During my wedding, the songs that I chose to be played were not played. The whole time he was there, he was on his cell phone and when he spoke in front of my guest, he didn't seem like he wanted to be there. I had numerous guest, after my wedding, talk about how they were not impressed with him.

how he incoorporated the different types of music perfectly! Help me so much with the props we bought out, everyone LOVED them! He even ordered different glasses than they had in stock, just to get the ones we really wanted! He was so easy to work with and very accomadating to my type-A personality. Gave great ideas when I needed help! BEST. WEDDING. DJ. EVER! We were told multiple times after the wedding that it was a great time and I think we can attribute a lot of that to Jeff keeping the night going :) We feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to work with him and JPL Entertainment. GREAT PHOTOBOOTH props as well, good pictures of our guests!

is done & your DJ knows everything that is going to happen! It's awesome because as things start to gear up for the wedding & eventual day-of madness, your DJ already knows what to do & that there is a surprise dance or a special toast or maybe a video message from someone who couldn't be there. The equipment JPL uses is top notch. I don't know much about this stuff but some of our guests did & commented that the DJ was very professional & well equipped. This isn't some "weekend business"-- it's legit. Jeff & Michael kept the dance floor busy all night with a very mixed group. They knew when to chill it out & pump it up. They also coordinated some really cool things that are really neat to watch in our wedding video. Don't try to save a buck on the DJ, if the sound is bad, the mic is giving feedback or the DJ doesn't know how to work a crowd-- you might regret it. Entertain your guests the right away & make sure they're still talking about how fun your wedding was years later!

he DJ was out dancing with the guests, yet wasn't intrusive. The DJ completely set the tone of the evening and I can't thank them enough. I had an amazing time from dancing the Train around the ballroom to the very last dance. JPL was worth every penny. Thank you JPL!!

Our DJ was Matt C. and he did a fabulous job! Prior to my wedding, I had been to weddings where the DJ was - in my opinion - too talkative and crude. I had a definite idea of what I did not want. It was a little harder to express what I DID want. Sure, I wanted it to be fun, but I wasn't interested in creating a dance-club feel. JPL has a very detailed online process. Yes, it takes time, but it is time well spent! How else can they gauge what the bride envisions? They follow up with at least two phone calls (more if you need, I'm sure). One of those calls is with a coordinator who will walk through the order of events with you and ask for any clarifications, special instructions for the DJ, etc. In short, they were outstanding! They did everything I asked, provided excellent communication to my guests and me, and played great music at the right volume. Highly recommended!

got to the reception and made sure we knew what was coming up throughout the reception. He also brought us our food and drinks as soon as we entered the reception venue. All of our guests were very entertained, which let them have fun and enjoy our celebration. He even got out to the dance floor and danced with the guests. JPL knows how to have fun and stay professional.
