JPL Entertainment was excellent! Everyone had so much fun! Everyone was in their feet dancing!! Thank you so much for a wonderful service!

We cannot JPL Entertainment enough for our wedding ceremony and reception! Not only were they extremely flexible when we had to reschedule our wedding due to COVID-19, but you did so without any fees or hassle at all. It was a welcome relief after all the stress of postponing the event. The event was perfect and I wouldn't change a thing!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Our experience with JPL was great! Ben showed up early to set up and prepare. He had all of our songs organized through the ceremony. He was flexible and accommodating to all of our needs. Highly recommend.

JPL entertainment was the one vender I was disappointed in. To be clear, they were far from the worst DJ I’ve seen, and people danced throughout the night, but there were a number of small hang up that were enough for me to not necessarily recommend them. Though we filled out extensive planning forms ahead of time, there were a number of bumps. Our flower girl got stage fright and took longer than planned (which is obviously not their fault) and during that time the song ended so there was dead silence while she was in the middle of the isle before they eventually realized they needed to restart the song. When it was time for my entrance, they played the wrong song, and the coordinator had to run and tell them to change it. I booked JPL entertainment early in my planning process (about a year in advance) and requested a bilingual DJ (English and Spanish). Day of, they actually sent the owner, Jeff, and another DJ so that they could both trade off announcements in English and Spanish. While I appreciated that, they basically stopped making announcements in Spanish early in the night. In all of the planning paperwork, I had noted that I would be doing a second father-daughter song with my step-father and that he would give a speech. JPL even called me to confirm that both my father and step-father had the same first name, but when it came time to introduce my step-father, the DJ never once mentioned that that’s who he was. In fact, each time he paused, shuffled papers, and then just said my step-father’s name with no mention of the relation. Finally, we paid to have a photobooth added on. To be fair, it was a week-of add on, but we chose to get it through JPL even though they charged more because we thought it made more sense to use a vendor we already had. They designed the photo strip and sent over a proof for approval, we emailed back and forth and asked them to change the date format and ensure the accent on my husband’s name was correct (it’s José and the had it as an apostrophe so it read Jose’). They confirmed that it would be changed, and then when we got the copies and proofs after the wedding, we saw that they were all incorrect. Friends also told me the photobooth attendant was on her phone all night.

JPL Entertainment came with our all inclusive wedding venue we booked but I was so thoroughly impressed I was not worried about not having selected the DJ myself. Their survey they send out prior to the wedding is all inclusive and has a fantastic amount of personal preferences you can put in. Anything they are not sure of they call you a few weeks before the wedding and follow up which I thought was so nice. The day of Michael was fantastic and had a great personality for our wedding. He was kind and welcoming and very sweet. He listened to everything we asked and although we did not have an official final dance he made sure we got the last song we requested as a nice moment for just the two of us while others were setting up the grand exit. It was a great experience that I was so happy with overall.

JPL was 10/10!!!! JPL was included in our package for our venus (Moffit Oaks) and we feel so lucky that they were!!! They were so easy to work with and their online portal was so easy to use and add songs that we wanted to hear and that our guests wanted to hear. Our DJ on our wedding day was Michael and he was THE BEST!!! He went with the flow, was professional, and played hit after hit. Our guests were on the dance floor all night. He also gave us a CD with our special wedding songs (first dance, father/daughter, mother/son, etc) and we thought that was so cool. I would definitely recommend them for any wedding or party !

JPL was an amazing company to work with. They made the whole process of planning very easy. The night of, Jeff and Jame made sure the flow of the evening went smoothly. They were both very professional and made sure the guests were having a great time. I highly recommend them for your special event!

We had an amazing wedding thanks to the guys from JPL. The bride, my step daughter's words were: "the DJ's were amazing". They really did a fantastic job and helping us all with some "moves" through out the evening! They were dressed for the occasion on time and very courteous. We would highly recommend them!

Seriously, Zak our DJ made our wedding. I was worried about the flow of everything and he swooped right in! Everyone has complimented the music we played at the wedding. I left part of the selection up to zak our DJ - and he did AMAZING! Look no more! This is a fabulous choice for your DJ company :)

All went well and I didn't have to worry about anything in regard to the DJ on the day my wedding.

My husband and I cannot say enough great things about Ben Petry at JPL. He knew exactly what he was doing and did a great job gauging the crowd of the wedding. Not only was Ben great during the reception, but our getaway car was running about 10-15 minutes behind, and Ben was able to continue playing similar music to the songs we had already played in order to keep the crowd engaged for the extra time.

JPL Entertainment - Jeff (owner) to Michael answering any and all of our questions before hiring...and DJ Ben and Justin on the actual wedding day were excellent throughout the process. Ben was an excellent DJ, with his experience - he definitely knows how to read the crowd and see what we would like. I personally did not have a playlist selected..I pretty much gave him free reigns and we ALL had a blast. Everyone was professional and came on-time to set-up...NO ISSUES at all. Do not hesitate to hire JPL Entertainment for all your music/event needs.

Loved having JPL at my wedding! Jeff did an awesome job with the music for the ceremony/reception. He kept the guests entertained before the wedding started & he kept everyone on the dance floor the whole reception. Ours guests loved the music selections! I had the pleasure of coordinating a wedding with Godwin and in my nearly ten years of planning + coordinating weddings, Godwin was one of the best DJs I have worked with. He was friendly, attentive, always paying attention to the timeline and cues given... He read the crowd beautifully and played the hits they were reacting well to. He was professional, confident and was an outstanding master of ceremonies. I would without a doubt recommend him and the JPL Entertainment experience anytime!

Planning a wedding in Houston from over three hours away meant we had little room for error. As JPL Entertainment was on our venue’s preferred list of vendors and also highly recommended by our coordinator, we booked them. They put together a night of music (indie/coffee shop) that focused on my daughter’s preferences but also had plenty of other music choices that literally always kept someone on the dance floor!! We 100% recommend JPL Entertainment.

I was going to write a terrible review at first, because their management is so disorganized, slow to respond, and acted like I was inconveniencing them a couple of times. I wouldn’t have chosen JPL if they weren’t included in our venue package. Their planning system is some sort of Access database offshoot from the 80s, and you'll lose access to it 3 weeks before your event. At that time, someone is supposed to call you for further planning. They didn’t call, and I ended up chasing them. They tried to say the issue was mine, but then they apologized saying they were short staffed. I had to chase them again to talk to my DJ before the wedding, after they again said I could expect a call and I didn’t. Despite all of this, our DJ (Michael Green) was fantastic. He respected that it was our wedding, and we worked well as a team. He went above and beyond, jumping out on the dance floor to get guests to join in the dances, raising energy levels and encouraging everyone to have fun. Guests told me he was the best DJ they’d seen. If you can handle disorganization and stay on top of JPL, Michael Green is the best.

We booked JPL through our venue, Moffitt Oaks. JPL was very responsive to any questions I had throughout the song picking process. They have a thorough questionnaire you fill out to really get to know you and the vibe of your ceremony/reception. Michael Green did such and amazing job and the dance floor was packed all night! Highly recommend JPL Entertainment!!

We booked JPL through our reception venue Moffitt Oaks and they were FANTASTIC!! The online process of choosing music and creating a timeline was super easy and user friendly! They asked us what kind of reception vibe we wanted to have (we chose fun, up beat, high energy, and party vibes) and they delivered!!!! Once the dance floor opened, every guest stayed dancing and the music transitioned seamlessly!! The DJ was so fun and actually got on the dance floor and interacted with guests and led different dances! We loved every moment of JPL Entertainment!!!

Absolutely amazing. Every wish and desire I asked for was mad. Ceremony music was timed perfectly, and reception music was played at the perfect time. Dj Walt played off the crowd and made sure that everyone was constantly having a good time. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Absolutely the best DJ someone could have for a wedding!! He was wonderful, and so thoughtful of us!! He made sure we had a GREAT time and our guest were so happy with their work!! I would definitely use them again! He made sure to make everyone feel welcome, and I couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for our May 24th wedding at the House Estate!!

This company was beyond great! Their website for planning your music and timeline is super helpful and easy to use. My DJ Isaac did a fantastic job from start to finish. Very professional,friendly and upbeat. Definitely recommend these guys! Also very affordable!

JPL is definitely a company that will help make your wedding day come together smoothly and even more beautifully! Their employees are well trained and enjoy their job. They know how to make the party come alive, but also stick to a timeline and include the personal touches you want.

I gave JPL Entertainment 5 stars because they really went above and beyond to make my wedding ceremony and reception the best. They played most, if not all, of the songs I requested as a MUST for the party and trust me when I say, people PARTAAAYD hard. I keep getting asked about my playlist and if they can get a copy, it was that good! Their online tool is very user friendly and if there are any questions you can always shoot them an email, response is prompt. You can leave notes to the DJ on the online tool as well, but your designated DJ will reach out a week before the event going over the event and to ask for questions or requests (We had Alex, he's bilingual and he was awesome :)) If you are organized and know what you want, they will make it happen (if there are songs they don't have they create a share folder for you to upload that song) but the majority of my songs were available and I was so happy! You cannot go wrong with Jeff and JPL, I wish I had more events to hire them because I definitely would. Super recommended, it was so much fun!

JPL was a great company to work with! They kept in good communication and even called me when it came close to my wedding. We talked about timeline and every detail.

I was a bit disappointed with the service. I felt like our DJ wasn't good at transitioning from one song to the next. I feel like he would play one good song and the next one would lead everyone to their seats. There was never a time where I felt like the party started.

Everything fell right on time as planned! It was Ryan and I's best day ever! JPL Entertainment kept the party going and made us lots of memories for us to look back on!

You cannot go wrong with JPL! My husband and I were so impressed with JPL starting with the initial meeting! We met with the Owner who told us about all of the services offered and was incredibly thorough and professional throughout. They made the planning process very easy and walked us through every step!! We were very specific with the music we wanted played and how we wanted the DJ to host our reception! Our DJ nailed it! We couldn’t be happier!!

We have used JPL several times for weddings and other events! I love the way everything runs smoothly with Jeff in charge! Can’t wait for our next event with JPL!

I liked working with this company because every interaction I had with them was extremely polite, professional, and very helpful. Each time I had a question or request, they would answer or accommodate without question and with pleasure. I could tell they really cared about doing a good job for our wedding. I was a little disappointed in the fact that I requested a certain DJ, and then was never notified that they had set up a different one for our wedding. Our DJ, Matt, was so friendly and accommodating, but forgot to announce a few things at the wedding reception like when we were cutting the cake, etc. That is literally my only somewhat complaint, though. Overall, I would highly recommend using them for your wedding or event.

They did a great job at our wedding! They were very easy to work with, have a great music selection, and did a great job matching music for each part of the evening.

The DJ (Zach) was so much fun to work with and really made a difference in the overall mood of my wedding. We knew exactly what to play and when. He took my suggested playlist and amped it up to the next level. Everyone was SUPER impressed because he kept everyone dancing and having fun!! I heard JPL Entertainment DJ a friend's wedding and loved it so I asked her for their info. They kept in contact with me the perfect amount before the wedding, triple checking to make sure they had every detail right. They have an online portal where you fill out every detail of the wedding, to make sure you don't miss anything. Our DJ, Alex, kept the wedding flowing perfectly and right on schedule. I couldn't be more happy with how they did!

Our wedding was 9/30/17. We used JPL Entertainment as our DJ and Photobooth. I do not have one complaint about them. They are very organized and overall do an amazing job. They called me multiple times before the wedding to make sure they had every detail down that I wanted as for the music. The photobooth was great as well. They had someone manning it at all times to help everyone get their props and take their pictures. There were so many funny props and signs. We also did a scrapbook for all of the pictures that were taken and guests got to answer the questions next to their picture. They custom make your book so it'll go with the theme of your wedding. We absolutely love ours. The pictures and the things our guests wrote were hilarious. Highly recommend this company. You won't be disappointed.

JPL was a vendor who we booked thru our venue Moffitt Oaks. They were outstanding!! One of the best things about them is that they want everything to go perfect for you and they will make sure it is nothing short of that. For my walk down song there was a certain point in the song when I wanted the doors to open and my dad and I begin our walk down the aisle, it was a song that I have had chosen for years and I wanted to make sure it was spot on! Our dj, who was out by the alter area outside, called my me and my wedding planner who were waiting in the barn for the music to start (we were inside so we could not hear it) he made sure to let us know right when the doors were to be opened and I could begin my walk down to coordinate with the song. It could not of gone any better and I will remember that moment all of my life!! During the reception, he was so much fun and made you feel at ease with everything going on! He listened to exactly what my husband and I wanted as far as song choice etc and went above and beyond. The flow of the entire night went so smoothly and everyone had a great time!! I highly recommend booking with them, you will not be disappointed!!

JPL was an amazing addition to our wedding. I knew Manny, our DJ, from college, so that's why I picked them initially. They exceeded my expectations. The photo booth was so much fun, the music was perfect, and the party was non stop! All of my guests had a blast! Manny is kind and so much fun! Make sure you ask for him when you book JPL for your event :)

JPL was absolutely incredible to work with. Jeff spent an hour with me at the initial meeting to help me plan the timeline. Carol took the time to call me several times to make sure everything would be perfect for the big day. Reilly worked with me extensively to create the exact Photo Booth strip templates I had in mind. Finally, Manny was our DJ and emcee for our big night on 6/17/17 and was absolutely amazing. Kept everyone dancing and the timeline going as planned. Everyone at JPL was very professional, and I couldn't have asked for a better vendor to DJ/emcee my wedding.

We had Manny as our DJ and he was very organized and flexible. My sisters decided to sing their toast as a surprise and they were easily able to set it all up. Manny was able to take charge of the ceremony and make sure that all the guests were happy and dancing throughout the afternoon. We also used JPL's photo booth which was a major hit! They saved us a copy of every photo strip so we were able to go through everyone's pictures from that night (fun for the post wedding blues lol). He also was on top of taking charge and excusing tables for the buffet so there wasn't a huge line and we were able to start our rounds through the tables. There were minor glitches, my sister sang while I was walking down the aisle and the mic made a loud crack, but besides that I really enjoyed there services! They will call you a week before the wedding and make sure that everything is perfect, including pronunciation of everyone's names! Overall I am very pleased with them and heard nothing but compliments from my guests!

My sister hired JPL Entertainment because they were on the preferred list from our venue. We weren't very sure about having them but we went ahead and did on a whim and I'm so glad we did. They were so flexible with everything! My family's names were in Vietnamese and they tried really hard to make sure they pronounced it right yet they were so flexible to have someone else MC the introduction for us instead. We had a few changes to the schedule and they were very accommodating to it and the MC/DJ was very open about song requests. One of our guests was Australian and wanted to listen to songs from Australian artists and the DJ took the time out to research the songs and played every single one that was requested. He was also very very upbeat every time he talked through the microphone and it made the whole environment very uplifting. We had an amazing time with them. Thank you!

We hired JPL Entertainment for their photobooth service based on the quality of their work I saw at a friend’s wedding a few years ago. I was not disappointed! JPL Entertainment was extremely responsive and professional across all staff – I spoke with a DJ, receptionist, graphic designer, and photobook designer – all who were extremely kind and quick to take and receive feedback for our wedding. The photobooth was a hit for our wedding and provided such fun memories for us and for our guests (including such a sweet memory book with advice and notes from our guests!) I would highly recommend JPL Entertainment for photobooth services for anyone’s wedding!

The DJ himself was very friendly and outgoing. There were some songs that I left up to their choosing such as the cake cutting, what played during the diner etc. Which were all good choices. However, the last dance of the night song was a song I never heard of. We were all dancing on the dance floor and just kept staring at each other saying do you know this song? Which leads me to my main con. I was very upset that I had spent so much time creating a playlist only to not have a mojority of them played. I did allow the DJ to play his own song but I thought they would at least take into consideration the type of songs I had select and put on my playlist. The DJ started out with a different genre of music that was definitely not on my play list and no one started dancing until we went up to him to request the genre of music I had originally selected. I had selected the songs I did because I know my family and friends. I feel that they should have played the songs on my list and then if no one was dancing then they could put something else on that they know people would dance to. Also, half of the songs I requested to be played weren't even songs they had in their library (Texas Country).

JPL Entertainment was incredible! Manny, our DJ/Emcee was GREAT! Wendy, their scheduling coordinator, was so helpful and supportive and made sure everything was organized and well planned for our wedding reception. Manny's enthusiasm, energy, and professionalism was much appreciated. If you decline the photo booth and extra lighting options etc, the price is very reasonable for the Houston area. Their basic package in and of itself was great. I highly recommend for those in the Houston area!

BEST decision ever to use JPL Entertainment; your DJ/Emcee can really make or break a wedding, and Manny is the real deal!! Many of my friends came up to me at the reception to specifically comment on how great he was! He is so lively and energetic and kept the reception running smoothly. Not to mention he kept me at ease and was so polite when letting my husband and I know when events were coming up and prepping us for the transitions. We also used JPL for uplighting which was a great accent at a a great price! The coordinators in the office that you speak to leading up to the wedding day are very helpful as well. I really can't stress how happy I am with using JPL Entertainment, they really helped make my day go as planned.

JPL Entertainment provided the DJ for my wedding! DJ Matt Crowder was fantastic! He was super easy to work with, very respectful of all my decisions, and emcee'd the wedding with professionalism and style! He was great! Leading up to the wedding, JPL went above and beyond in communicating with me about everything. We exchanged several phone calls and emails, and each time, their desire was to make sure everything for my wedding day was perfect. There were several songs for my ceremony that weren't available with JPL, and they went above expectations to take care of the issue. Definitely highly recommend working with JPL!

We were so happy that we picked JPL for the music & photobooth at our wedding. They made the whole process easy from the beginning. There website allowed us to make sure or favorite songs were played and they made the delivery of the equipment for our rehearsal and wedding day easy on us. Manny our DJ did a great job with mixing up the playlist for a diverse group of people. He was able to mix everything from latin hits to popular country songs and kept everyone on the dance floor.

MANNY was Phenomenal ! He followed both our ceremony and reception schedule to a TEE, and even threw some extra songs in that fit the mood perfectly. He interacted well with our guests and even got on the DANCE FLOOR with US. Thanks for a wonderful experience!

JPL is AMAZING!! They made sure my wedding ran smoothly and was everything I wanted. The DJ made sure the music was fun and that everyone was dancing the whole night. The day before my wedding, he called to finalize the timeline and the special songs and was very personable and professional. We ordered their uplighting package and I highly reccomend it! It added the perfect touch to our reception and made the photos beautiful. We also used their photobooth package which was a huge hit the entire night and came with tons of props. They have someone who works with you to design your photo strip to ensure it matches the theme of the wedding which I thought was so awesome. I can't thank y'all enough for everything you did for us!!
