JT Catering Company is an any occasion, birthdays, baby showers, rehearsal dinners, weddings, sports team banquets, xmas parties, anything you may need catering business in Westmoreland county. The Owner is a “Culinary Institute of America” in Hyde Park, NY the premier culinary school in the country & has been in the business of making unforgettable culinary memories for over two decades. He and his team will help you create the perfect menu to delight your guests on your special day. His motto is “great / fresh food, for good people for a good affordable price”. Our company doesn’t not have miscellaneous charges and fees. Just total per person, sales tax & a 15% service fee for events that need chaffers, set up, cleaned up, travel time, and him and the sous chef at the event.

o provide what we needed. The event took place on a yacht docked at the Pgh Convention Center Wharf on a particularly busy weekend in Pittsburgh. We did not request that the caterer remain on board, but The food was delivered ON TIME, HOT, in disposable pans, and DELICIOUS! We had more than enough food for about 60 guests. The cost was affordable and Jonathan provided a great service.

We had inquired to a few other places who ended up having additional costs to things that weren't listed or talked about initially so we were very happy to be recommended JR Catering. The friends who recommended them had raved about how delicious the food was and we weren't disappointed! We had such a wonderful experience and Jonathan was very professional and honest when we met and talked with him. He worked with us on our vision and gave plenty of ideas for things we could have for our menu, which was helpful because we didn't have much of an idea of what we wanted. Further, Jonathan was very helpful and always answered our questions when we had them. I recommend him very highly and don't have a doubt about who I'd call for another catering opportunity because we loved his food. We had BBQ on our menu and his smoked pork was so delicious!

ad no kitchen or anything concerning the food, and after a meeting with Chef & the Chef visiting the venue we sat down and discussed everything and all our wants and needs were accomplished. I will say through the process we never even thought about the venue and what possible menu restrictions could come in to play, especially being an August wedding with no AC. Chef brought to our attention things that, honestly we never even thought about that would be a problem.
We ultimately decided on a BBQ style menu for our 260 guests & everyone was delighted. If you’re looking for something home made and very reasonably priced compared to others with all their added “fees” Chef can accommodate your needs.
Too wrap things up, overall we were very pleased with our entire experience and actually learned about food through the process thanks to Chef. Come to find after our event we discovered that the Chef is a graduate of the prestigious “The Culinary Institute of America” in Hyde Park, New York. Which in the end, honestly explained a lot about his approach made our event special and carefree, and memorable through food. Thank you Chef & staff at JT Catering Company we look forward to using you again in the future.
