As a couple, we couldn't have been happier with our special day thanks to Judy Cordell Events. We wanted to plan something unique and special that captured once in a lifetime relationship and the blending of our families together. Judy helped us create a very personal - customized experience that incorporated aspects of our faith traditions with the ceremony as well as the vintage features of a outdoor wedding held on the front lawn of our beautiful historic home. Judy helped us plan for and accommodate a a gorgeous fall outdoor wedding reception. Featuring gorgeous fall colors and an open-air dance floor under cafe lights and the night sky- our family and friends danced the night away under the stars. Judy's creative ideas and attention to detail provided the most unique and and meaningful experience as a couple, for our children, extended family and friends. When we reflect back on the entire planning experience, we are constantly reminded of Judy's compassionate listening ear, her sage advice and exceptional collection of vendors along with her ability to match the exact right touch to our unique wedding day plans. She is not just the most organized, creative, professional and experienced wedding planner- she is a cheerleader, confidant, advisor and encourager. By the time our special day arrived, the magical experience came to life and Judy and her team were there to ensure the magic lasted the entire day into the last few moments of our reception. Months later, our family and friends are still talking about our wedding day and how much fun they had. We still spend so much time reflecting back on our wedding with such fond a special memories. Judy and her team helped us plan/execute the wedding day of our dreams. From the second we chose Judy Cordell Events, we felt relieved to have someone we trusted help finalize all of the details. Judy was my wedding planner for my wedding on October 11th, 2024. She was referred to us by a close friend a few months before the wedding. I didn't think a wedding planner was necessary and BOY! Was I wrong! There are SO many incredibly small details that you would never even think of when it comes to planning a wedding. Judy always came to meetings prepared with a checklist of everything we would need to work on. She had so many connections as well, which was extremely helpful when it came to finding different vendors for the wedding. My mom and I often joked "what would we do without Judy??" when there was something we overlooked but Judy did not. On the day of my wedding, Judy had every vendor lined up as efficiently as possible for set up. I didn't have to worry about a single thing! My wedding was the wedding of my dreams and my mother & I both know, it would not have been possible without Judy. We cannot recommend her enough. She might be small, but she is mighty! She was always available to answer any questions we had, or to meet in person. She took care of us like we were family. Now that the wedding is over, we're going to miss checking in with her! She is as sweet as can be and I hope to remain in touch with her for the years to come. Thank you again Judy! We will miss you, but now we need to share you with the new brides of 2025 so they can have their dream wedding as well.
Judy Cordell did an amazing job as our wedding coordinator for my daughter's wedding! Judy cares about her clients and gives 110% all the time. Judy Cordell did an amazing job!! We had a Dallas wedding in April, coordinating from Houston and Montreal. Judy connected us with the best vendors for our needs, helped with contract details, met us for tastings at the venue, assisted with ceremony details, designed personalized seating and menu cards. She and her experienced team were on site hours before the ceremony, supervised all deliveries and set up, then were with us through every moment of the event, making sure every detail was perfect!!! It was 100% stress-free! We were able to enjoy every second, with no worries at all. Judy’s team stayed to complete the clean-up way after our family and all guests were gone. Judy has our highest recommendation!!!

Judy Cordell guided my family and I in planning a beautiful wedding that reflected our "Hints of Texas" theme; without Judy, this beautiful, fairy-like, ceremony and wedding would not have come to fruition. Judy is a wonderful person who is incredibly thoughtful and poised, which comes forth in her client interactions making the wedding process manageable, memorable, and fun. She provides organization and structure during the planning process and ensures all parties maintain a tight timeline which allows the entire wedding party to enjoy the actual wedding day. Not only is Judy kind, thoughtful, and organized, she is INCREDIBLY creative in adding little touches for the big day to make everyone's wedding unique. Furthermore, Judy has an excellent network of vendors that provide quality services and products. In sum, Judy is an expert in the wedding industry and helped my now husband, Julian, and me have a wonderful wedding day. We are so happy to have met Judy and now consider her a close friend.
Where do I start. From day one after our first meeting with Judy she hit the floor running. Her professional, organized, hard working and friendly helpfulness stayed throughout the entire process. She made our day of to where we could relax and enjoy it, knowing she had everything under control. I sincerely appreciate and thank you for everything! It was perfect!
Judy helped our son as he planned the perfect marriage proposal. She provided creative ideas, staged the decor, and drove all over town to purchase groceries (including live worms for fishing) and hors d'oeuvres.
Best of all, Judy had flower pedals along a sidewalk path leading to the perfect spot for a lakeside sunset proposal.

With my daughter living out of state- planning her wedding and factoring in her fiancé serving in the Marine Corps, I knew we needed a very special wedding planner to help us plan with the uncertainty of military life and the post COVID world of event planning that was surging from pent up demand. So when Morgan and Ryan were engaged right after Christmas in 2021, I was thrilled when they chose Judy Cordell Events to help plan the most important day of their lives together. Morgan’s sister, my daughter Jenn, was the Maid of Honor and together we served as Morgan’s boots on the ground as Morgan and Ryan were planning from afar. Without Judy Cordell Events, I have no idea how we would have pulled this off.
Judy and her team were there from day 1- helping us make the most important decisions in an orderly and well-orchestrated manner. Judy helped us review all the options and guided us as we made decisions and weaved everything together like an intricate puzzle. Every step of the way, all attention was on making sure every decision reflected Morgan and Ryan’s own dreams, priorities and budget to ensure the wedding day was specifically designed with their wishes in mind.
The team of vendors were as attentive and responsive as Judy Cordell Events. We loved each and every vendor from the awesome photographers to the talented hair and makeup team. And the florals and venue were simply gorgeous and exactly what Morgan was imaging. And as any of the typical and unexpected hiccups arose as we approached the day, Judy made sure to get everything smoothed out as expected with the notebook of signed contracts in hand.
As we approached the special day and experienced each second of Morgan and Ryan’s best day ever, there are so many touching moments that Judy and her team made sure were not missed. From the bridesmaid’s time in the bridal suite with the beautiful bride to the intimate ceremony to the joyous reception that was tailor made for the newlyweds, each moment brought so much joy and happiness to the day. And as we celebrated the bride and groom with glistening sparklers as they drove off, our family knew the newlyweds had a day they will never forget with the family and friends they love the most.

Working with Judy was amazing and beyond what we expected from a wedding planner! The thought of a wedding with 150-200 guests was daunting for us, and we would have been lost without all of Judy's guidance. During planning, Judy had a vendor for everything we wanted on our wedding day, and she made sure each vendor kept us in the loop or she followed up with them for updates. Judy communicated with us via email, texts, and phone calls depending on the priority of questions and updates throughout the planning process. We met with Judy at the venue, and we also had a few in person or Zoom meetings with her and the vendors. There was an issue with my wedding dress less than a month before our wedding, and Judy quickly provided a bridal alterations location she had used before. I would have panicked without her recommendation.
Our wedding was in December 2022, and Judy helped us plan a wedding that had a holiday look without having too much "Christmas". On the day of our wedding, Judy and her team were there with a schedule every step of the way. Our guests were amazed we stayed on track the entire evening. The reception was absolutely beautiful, and it was truly the perfect day because we were able to enjoy it and not worry about what needed to happen next. We cannot recommend Judy enough!
Judy was more than fabulous! We could not have been more blessed that we found her. She is someone that has it all together. She always had a vendor we could consider, or an answer to the many questions we had. The wedding day was more than we expected. Judy made the entire wedding planning process so easy! She stayed on top of every detail and made sure our wedding day was perfect. She took all of my wild ideas and turned them into a reality. I was living in a different state than where the wedding was and Judy was able to coordinate all of the detail while staying in touch with me through text, call, email or Zoom call. I was able to actually enjoy the wedding planning process instead of stressing over every minor detail. On the day of the wedding, I didn't have to think or worry about anything. Judy made sure everything happened according to plan. Like every wedding, there were a few minor mishaps, but I had no idea until after the wedding. Judy made sure that each "mishap" was resolved quickly and quietly. Hands down the best wedding I've ever had!

I knew Judy from working at The Clubs of Prestonwood. My coordinator and I asked her to help plan an open house at the Club, two years in a row. After seeing her work the first year, I knew right then that she would be my Wedding Planner when that time came.

My name is Shane and I am the FOB. It is my pleasure and honor to write a review for Judy Cordell. I am probably not your typical FOB as I was involved from Day 1 in every aspect of our daughter's wedding. It is just my nature and personality. Both my wife and daughter knew this going in to the planning of this wedding. In full disclosure, I have my own professional services company and have over 30 years experience in professional services. As a result, I know what my clients expect of me and I also expect the same level of service in dealing with other professionals. In a word, Judy was professional. Judy not only met my expectations, which many will tell you is not always an easy job, but far exceeded our expectations. I could use all of my 3500 character limit to expand on everything Judy did for my daughter and our family to make our daughter's dream wedding a reality, but I will not for sake of brevity. Judy has so many tools available to her in her arsenal from years of experience. She absolutely hit some home runs with some of her vendor referrals. Whether it was Betty Jameson and her company, Scribbles and Swirls, for all of our printing and stationery needs, or Center Stage Floors or Mr. Ken Brown for our uniquely engraved river rock wedding favors, these vendors were referrals from Judy and they were the absolute best in the industry. Everyone of our wedding guests commented on their services. These referrals alone were worth every penny spent on Judy's services. The best part, however, was Judy herself and her team of assistants on our daughter's actual wedding day. Every wedding has surprises and ours was no exception. Judy took care of everything, and I literally mean everything. Our daughter was left alone to enjoy the greatness of her special day without having to worry about anything or anyone. Judy was a joy to work with! As a couple who planned and last-minute replanned their wedding, we cannot say enough great things about Judy's flexibity and willingness to accomplish our vision. Despite the many road blocks that COVID presented, my family was at ease because Judy took every detail into careful consideration. I can tell she loves what she does because I would get little texts from her throughout the week wherein she would mention how excited she was about a certain detail or make suggestions on how to accomplish our vision - it was in these moments I wondered if she thought more about my wedding than I did. By the end of the event, it felt like Judy was part of the family!
I'm sure there were hiccups throughout the wedding day, but I'll never know because Judy and her team did a wonderful job of coordinating with the vendors. My family is so thankful to have worked with such an amazing coordinator!
Planning a wedding during COVID is not easy, but Judy made it happen. She brought our vision and dreams to light! With the constant changes during this time she was always there to handle issues if they arised. Judy spent so much time and put in so much effort to make sure we got what we wanted. She is truly an expert planner with a lot of experience and I felt this in the months leading up to our wedding. She thought of all possible scenarios, plans A/B/C and so many things I did not even think of. Even during the times I couldn't be present due to personal reasons, she was "on top" of everything and made the planning less stressful for me. She was responsive to each early morning emails and held open comunication and was flexible with plans and changes. My wedding day was magical and she did an incredible job setting up the wedding/reception with all of my decor. It was exactlly how I had envisioned!!!
Judy! There is not enough words to describe this wonderful women. She took all my inspirations and made my day more than I could have asked for. I can honestly say that without her my wedding would not have turned out so great. She was super helpful in every aspect. She did not hesitate to help us with any request big or small. We had first hand knowledge of the fantastic work of Judy Cordell Events, so it was an easy choice to bring Judy on board to help with my daughter and son-in-law's wedding. Although I can't say enough about her guidance through the planning stage, it was the day of the wedding that she and her team proved themselves indispensable. They made magic in four months and made it a joyful experience.
Judy was great to work with! She was very pleasant, detail oriented, gave plenty of suggestions and resources when we needed it. She went above and beyond by being at key events like the dress fitting or engagement photos. This was great because we didn't have friends or family to help with this. My family and friends loved her on the day of the event. Everything ran smoothly because she was very organized and detail oriented. We could not have picked a better planner!
Having been to several events that Judy has coordinated, when we decided to have an anniversary celebration and vow renewal, we knew we wanted Judy to come along side of us to assure us our event was everything we dreamed it could be. Judy stepped in and suggested options for vendors and each of the parts of our upcoming event. She was always available for answering all types of questions from etiquette to event-specific choices. She knew about so many details that I wanted but didn’t want to make decisions on like the table linens. She just knew what we would like. She was there to help advise our floral decorations; choice of DJ’s -and even suggested special songs to be played; suggested a graphic designer for invitations who nailed it the first draft (we only needed a couple of minor changes); attended the tasting at our country club to make final decisions on food; she worked with the event manager at the club to assure our expectations were met; her team was there to set up and she even brought some picture frames that better suited our décor than what our pictures are usually displayed in at home. Judy took care of everything so we really got to enjoy our vow renewal and anniversary celebration. She made suggestions that saved us significant dollars. She was always available for discussions in person or by phone. We had so many guests tell us what a great party we had. I highly recommend Judy Cordell to help plan, coordinate and execute your event—of any kind. She is fabulous! No one like her in attention to the smallest detail.
I wish there were more stars available to give because Judy Cordell deserves them ALL! From the moment I had Judy on the phone for an initial interview, I knew I just had to hire her to help plan and excecute our big day. Judy helped us plan every single detail, both big and small, of our wedding from day one and did such a phenomenal job! Judy listened to each idea and desire that I had and carried them all out to perfection. We were able to trust Judy with everything wedding related and knew that she was taking care of it and in the best way possible. With her vast experience in the wedding business, Judy knows a vendor for absolutely everything and at different price points which was helpful when planning things like floral, music, invitations, lighting, rentals, etc - you name it - she knows someone by first name and has probably worked with them before which is great. One of the things that I valued most about working with Judy was her excellent communication -she will keep you up to date with EVERYTHING and in a very timely manner. Judy never kept us waiting for a reply on anything and was on top of everything (in fact, three steps ahead of us) during the entire planning process which was comforting and helped reduce any stress. We communicated frequently by email, phone calls and even texts. This was super important to me because I knew that I needed someone that I could reach at any time whereas a lot of planners in the Dallas area charge you each time you contact them or even worse, allot you a certain number of "communications" and limit you to a specified time frame. With Judy, this is definitely not the case (we hired her as a full time planner and it was the best decision). Not only did she communicate with me in a timely and professional manner but she also communicated with each of the other vendors we used (photographer, videographer, venue, floral, hair/makeup, etc). to make sure each team knew the details and delivered the services I was looking for. Bottom line, when looking for a wedding planner, you want your planner to be devoted to your wedding to ensure that that the planning and the big day run seamlessly and Judy did just that and more! We asked Judy to be a part of our planning process early. We had three and half months to plan a wedding and she helped us execute this with grace and poise. Not only that but allowed us to focus on other priorities like our relationships and work. Her years of experience greatly helped us find vendors quickly and we had great experiences with all of them. She personally cared for us and were our fans during the planning process, on the wedding day and even after.
Judy was AWESOME to work with. She went above and beyond what was expected of her to ensure that our wedding day was perfect. Judy had our best interest in mind, was service-oriented, flexible, and responded to our questions quickly. Judy is absolutely FANTASTIC. She truly loves and cares for her clients, and you can see that by how she handles everything with such precision and care from the moment you contact her to when you exit your reception - as well as a few check-ins after the event as well. As a bride with no knack for planning, decorating or organizing, Judy was a tremendous help every step of the way. My mother and I say that she is worth E V E R Y penny.
She helped us find the perfect venue for our reception as well as help book hotels necessary for out of town guests. She even thought out the logistics of traveling time and distance from the ceremony to reception, and from the reception to the hotel. She not only has you, the bride, in mind, but she has the guests in mind when planning and organizing. The vendors she recommended were phenomenal and the guests were extremely complimentary of the food, cake, flowers, layout, and decor of the reception.
She thought of everything down to the tiniest details to make sure our reception was picture perfect. (Side story: I threw the discus in college and Judy had the florist create a "discus bouquet" for me to throw for the bouquet toss. Everybody, including myself, loved it!) She made our reception comfortable and allowed us to have our own personal touches, which was extremely important to us.
Her staff for the day of coordinating were extremely professional and attentive to our guests and made sure everything ran smoothly. There was never a moment of fear with Judy and her staff! There was little to no stress throughout the whole wedding planning process, and the day-of went flawlessly. I cannot recommend her enough! She goes above and beyond to make her clients happy. She is the absolute best!
