As a professional wedding photographer and videographer, I can’t recommend JULEP Venue enough! Our team had the pleasure of working here twice this year, and every experience has been exceptional.
The location is unbeatable, just minutes away from iconic San Diego photography spots like Presidio Park, Balboa Park, Old Town, and Seaport Village. Despite being close to the airport, the venue is drone-friendly, making aerial shots a breeze!
JULEP offers incredible space and versatility for hosting weddings. We’ve worked with guest counts ranging from 200 to 300 people, and everything flowed seamlessly. The bridal suite and groom’s room are spacious and beautifully designed, providing the perfect backdrop for getting-ready shots and detail photos.
The outside patio is a dream for solo bridal and wedding dress photos, with stunning lighting. It can also be made private before cocktail hour, which is a thoughtful touch. The huge parking lot is ideal for events like Indian weddings, accommodating the Baraat effortlessly.
And let’s talk about the food and drinks—so trendy and delicious! Everyone on the team is beyond helpful and friendly. Special shoutout to Heather and her amazing team for their outstanding support and hospitality.

Julep venue's team was awesome to work with and the venue was plug and play. We loved that it had a ton of space for photo booths and catering stations. The team was super responsible and the outdoor venue spaces are really great. We loved the list of vendors that they had and all the great recommendations to really personalize our wedding experience.
We LOVED Snake Oil's bar tending at our wedding; their drinks with graphic art were memorable and special, their drink suggestions were delicious, and they adequately staffed the event. We would totally spend the money to hire them again!

When we were touring venues for our wedding we stumbled upon this beautiful space and knew right away that we wanted to get married here. This venue offers so much and the opportunity to make it your own! The bridal suite and groom's room are so big and cute making it the perfect space to get ready and hang out before the wedding. Working with their team was an absolute pleasure and made our planning process so much less stressful and seamless. Special shoutout to Heather, Marisol, and Vanessa for all of their hard work and for making our dream wedding come to life. We could not have asked for a better place and are so appreciative of all of the staff.
We instantly fell in love with this big beautiful blank space! JULEP was the perfect place for us to host our wedding. With a giant hall, in-house craft cocktails and a patio, this space had everything! We were able to make a vision come to life in this space. Our guests love the open floor plan, a patio to hang out on, the AMAZING cocktails, and the many bathrooms! They even had a super cute bridal suite to hang out in before the wedding, and a groom suite for my husband and his friends too! Our caterer also said it's the best prep kitchen they've ever used! We loved having our special day at JULEP! Oh, and did I mention all the parking! The perfect venue!
Snake Oil was amazing! Planning a COVID wedding was no easy task but, they were super easy to work with, very understanding, & great crew on our wedding day. Their whole set up & the drinks fit our overall aesthetic & our friend & family feedback was all so positive. Honestly, we always recommend Snake Oil to all our friends & we have already talked about using Snake Oil for any of our future events.
The crew at Snake Oil is amazing. Unfortunately, we did not get to use their bartending services (due to COVID) but we had it all arranged where I could purchase the alcohol from them to cover the initial deposit and hire our own bartender for the event. However the customer service with Jessica was 10/10. She was always super responsive and helpful in purchasing the correct amount of alcohol for our wedding. We got mixers for our signature drinks, which were amazing as well. Due to COVID, they were unable to work our event but they came out and set up a really nice bar with all the fixings so that our hired bartender would have all the correct equipment and fixings. Seriously super professional and they did the best they could for the circumstances.
Snake Oil’s cocktails are truly amazing!!! We hired them for our wedding and were so impressed. We received so many compliments on the cocktails, and I am so glad we decided to do the signature drinks!!! From the moment we started working with Saul and his team, they were so accommodating - invited us to a cocktail tasting, were open to our suggestions, and made sure our day was perfect. We got married at a remote location in Malibu and they brought everything needed to make it work perfectly. We can’t recommend them enough!!
My husband and I hired Snakeoil Cocktails for our wedding in May and let me tell you... it was one of our BEST decisions!! All night our friends and family raved about not only the delicious cocktails but how great the staff was. They were all so nice and had such a great setup!
Before the wedding we were even given a full tasting to choose our favorite cocktails for the big day... that was an experience in it's own & all of the cocktails were BEAUTIFUL.
In addition to the bar service, Snakeoil was able to help with refilling waters throughout the night, they helped clear tables (brides if you don't have a full catering company for dinner this is something you should consider!), and also provided a coffee bar to go along with our dessert table.
A BIG THANK YOU to snake oil and team, especially Saul for being so accommodating, always answering all my questions and for helping make our wedding day so extra special. Daniel and I are so very appreciate for all Snakeoil and team did to help us on the big day.

Looking for delicious, trendy, FUN cocktail for your wedding or event? Then look no further, Snake Oil is the answer! They have amazing cocktails that are so fun and unique. They put so much detail and thought into every drink. You won't find boring cocktails here. They use out of the box fresh ingredients and really make drinks that are one of a kind. Their staff and team are so great to work with too! And if you're really looking for something to set your wedding/event a part ask about their Cocktail Graffiti. Seriously can't recommend these guys enough!
We found Snake Oil Company through TheKnot. What an amazing experience! We went to a tasting and they provided us with a selection of 11 hand crafted cocktails using the base alcohol of our choices with fresh garnishes and concepts. It was so difficult for us to narrow down their signature cocktails to just a few choices as they were all so tasty. We felt very comfortable with hiring them to bar-cater our wedding from that first experience.
On the big day the Snake Oil team arrived right on time and got to work setting up. They had two different bars - one for cocktail hour and one for reception. The transition was nearly seamless and everyone was complimenting us on our drink selections. Our guests were largely a non drinking crowd but the flavors, colors and aromas of the drinks couldn’t keep them away. The bartender had a comfortable and professional demeanor making pleasant small talk the whole evening. We will strongly consider hiring Snake Oil for our future large events.
Snake Oil were amazing! We definitely splurged and went with the His/Hers cocktails- was that a little more than our original budget, sure, were they worth it, ABSOLUTELY! Guests are still raving about those drinks. Perfectly, and creatively crafted cocktails with freshly muddled ingredients, they also were delicious as Mocktails, since my husband doesn't drink! Beyond how delicious the drinks were, the staff were so friendly and professional. And I really can't say enough about Michelle who we worked with from day one. She was so responsive and helpful in the planning stages- I made a ton of changes and she was always super accommodating and great with getting me all the info I needed. It was a dream working with them, and would absolutely recommend them!

Hire Snake Oil! People kept raving about our signature cocktails and bar service. Lindsey is AMAZING and was so helpful in planning our wedding. We also used their service team for bussing tables, etc. and they were IMPECCABLE. Bartenders are so great, too!
Michelle was amazing. She literally helped me get my bar ready 1 week before the wedding day (last minute it didn't work out with our other bar idea). She really worked with me on price and made sure everything was what we wanted. Although a few of the bar tenders were a little rude to some of my guests, I let Michelle know and she was very apologetic and made sure to address the situation. I would recommend them!
I worked with Alejandra from Snake Oil and she was a pleasure to work with! She was quick to getting a proposal together that worked with our budget: hosted cocktail hour, no-host reception. The signature drink was amazing, we still have people talking about it! The team was there throughout the whole planning process and make the night perfect! I would definitely recommend using them for any event where you need a bar!
You must book Snake Oil! The team was so professional. The drinks were absolutely phenomenal - some of the best I've ever had, anywhere! The bartenders ensured we (the bride and groom) had drinks throughout the reception and would come up to us to ensure our drinks were full so we didn't have to constantly go back to the bar. Amazing drinks, amazing people.
Snake Oil is the perfect company to do your bar services. From the start, the response & helpfulness of their team is on point. Then our wedding day, the bartenders were amazing; professional, fun, and quick to meet our guests needs.
While they do have several bar options to choose from, we went with the lowest cost option because it allowed us to do whatever we wanted, as well as, provide a open bar for 6 hours. They provide the all the bar supplies, bartenders, liquor license, insurance, and all garnishments & mixers while you just provide all the alcohol. Whatever it might be; pick your poison! It was perfect.
These guys did my friend's wedding beautifully! The groom is a grapefruit farmer so they incorporated the farm's grapefruits into the drinks. The venue had lavender plants all around so they took sprigs and put them in the drink. Simply gorgeous and tasty to boot. I follow them on Instagram now and their cocktails always look delicious and adorably matching the theme of the event.
I absolutely loved Snake Oil Cocktails. They made the party with their signature drinks and fun bartenders. It was such a great experience, and fun tasting all of the cocktails they created. They made a special cocktail named after my best friend and her now husband, which they both loved! (They never like the same drinks) I would highly recommend these guys for any wedding!
