As a professional wedding photographer and videographer, I can’t recommend JULEP Venue enough! Our team had the pleasure of working here twice this year, and every experience has been exceptional. The location is unbeatable, just minutes away from iconic San Diego photography spots like Presidio Park, Balboa Park, Old Town, and Seaport Village. Despite being close to the airport, the venue is drone-friendly, making aerial shots a breeze! JULEP offers incredible space and versatility for hosting weddings. We’ve worked with guest counts ranging from 200 to 300 people, and everything flowed seamlessly. The bridal suite and groom’s room are spacious and beautifully designed, providing the perfect backdrop for getting-ready shots and detail photos. The outside patio is a dream for solo bridal and wedding dress photos, with stunning lighting. It can also be made private before cocktail hour, which is a thoughtful touch. The huge parking lot is ideal for events like Indian weddings, accommodating the Baraat effortlessly. And let’s talk about the food and drinks—so trendy and delicious! Everyone on the team is beyond helpful and friendly. Special shoutout to Heather and her amazing team for their outstanding support and hospitality. This expansive and versatile property features 12,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space, including a bright, airy banquet hall and a covered patio. Chic and modern with a host of amenities, it offers the perfect blank canvas for unique and memorable celebrations. JULEP Venue invites couples to start their day getting ready in their stylish on-site dressing room. This space is ideal for setting up your beauty station and assembling your wedding outfit in the company of loved ones. You can host your ceremony in the banquet hall with its high gabled ceilings, using their custom room dividers to choreograph the space to your liking. Streamlined architecture and a neutral color scheme give this room a wide-open feel, with lots of potential for adding personal touches. After you tie the knot, you can join your guests for cocktail hour in the courtyard, patio, or bar area while their staff flips the ballroom. The space immediately transforms into a picture of elegance when furnished with romantic round tables and matching chairs, perfect for your reception. It also features an ample-sized dance floor and an area for your evening entertainment to set up for a magical evening of music and dancing. space had everything! We were able to make a vision come to life in this space. Our guests love the open floor plan, a patio to hang out on, the AMAZING cocktails, and the many bathrooms! They even had a super cute bridal suite to hang out in before the wedding, and a groom suite for my husband and his friends too! Our caterer also said it's the best prep kitchen they've ever used! them to cover the initial deposit and hire our own bartender for the event. However the customer service with Jessica was 10/10. She was always super responsive and helpful in purchasing the correct amount of alcohol for our wedding. We got mixers for our signature drinks, which were amazing as well. Due to COVID, they were unable to work our event but they came out and set up a really nice bar with all the fixings so that our hired bartender would have all the correct equipment and fixings. Seriously super professional and they did the best they could for the circumstances.

delicious cocktails but how great the staff was. They were all so nice and had such a great setup! Before the wedding we were even given a full tasting to choose our favorite cocktails for the big day... that was an experience in it's own & all of the cocktails were BEAUTIFUL. In addition to the bar service, Snakeoil was able to help with refilling waters throughout the night, they helped clear tables (brides if you don't have a full catering company for dinner this is something you should consider!), and also provided a coffee bar to go along with our dessert table. A BIG THANK YOU to snake oil and team, especially Saul for being so accommodating, always answering all my questions and for helping make our wedding day so extra special. Daniel and I are so very appreciate for all Snakeoil and team did to help us on the big day. BEST decisions and BEST EVER cocktails. You are sure to be impressed!

hol of our choices with fresh garnishes and concepts. It was so difficult for us to narrow down their signature cocktails to just a few choices as they were all so tasty. We felt very comfortable with hiring them to bar-cater our wedding from that first experience. On the big day the Snake Oil team arrived right on time and got to work setting up. They had two different bars - one for cocktail hour and one for reception. The transition was nearly seamless and everyone was complimenting us on our drink selections. Our guests were largely a non drinking crowd but the flavors, colors and aromas of the drinks couldn’t keep them away. The bartender had a comfortable and professional demeanor making pleasant small talk the whole evening. We will strongly consider hiring Snake Oil for our future large events.

Beyond how delicious the drinks were, the staff were so friendly and professional. And I really can't say enough about Michelle who we worked with from day one. She was so responsive and helpful in the planning stages- I made a ton of changes and she was always super accommodating and great with getting me all the info I needed. It was a dream working with them, and would absolutely recommend them!

While they do have several bar options to choose from, we went with the lowest cost option because it allowed us to do whatever we wanted, as well as, provide a open bar for 6 hours. They provide the all the bar supplies, bartenders, liquor license, insurance, and all garnishments & mixers while you just provide all the alcohol. Whatever it might be; pick your poison! It was perfect.
