Julianne Drake photography’s work is gorgeous! My daughter hired Julianne to do her engagement photos on the beach and they are stunning! The session with Julianne was so much fun, and it shows in the photos! We have hired Julianne to photograph our other daughter’s wedding in the fall!

If I could give Julianne 10 stars I would! She was just so amazing, professional, personable and creative. When I went to do my engagement photo shoot I was so nervous as that was my first time ever doing a photo shoot, she helped me feel comfortable and relaxed within minutes. I knew right after our session she was the one I definitely wanted to do our wedding. Leading up to the wedding she was in contact to make sure we had all the final details set and she asked for a list of specific pictures we wanted to get. On the wedding day she had such a positive attitude and was very energetic! That day was just amazing and having the pictures to look back on let me relive that day all over again. I would travel just to have to take our pictures again, that’s how much we loved using her!! I would recommend her a million times over, she definitely takes the time to get to know her clients and makes each connection personal and special.

I was nervous to take our engagement pictures because I’m not a ~natural~ in front of the camera, plus I had honestly never spent any money on professional pictures so I just wanted the whole experience to go well. Julianne was so natural and had a really down to earth energy that made the session so much fun. It felt like I was just hanging out with a friend who was cheering me on. She is also prompt with messaging and sending out the final images which is really appreciated; her album delivery matched up with her estimated timeline. I know there are lots of photographers with beautiful products out there, but trust me, Julianne’s work is special - her presence, her creativity, her images are just *chef’s kiss*. Book her!

Working with Julianne for our photos was a dream! She was receptive to our needs, and when we had to reschedule due to an illness, she was accommodating and understanding. We also battled with smoky conditions, and she remained flexible with scheduling to give us the best chance for a perfect experience. These little touches of personal care took so much stress away from the situation! Even though we hadn't met her prior to our session, it felt like working with an old friend. The ultimate hype woman.. Julianne is SO personable. She has taken photos for my family twice and photographed one of my good friends wedding and has been nothing short of perfect each time. Julianne made my fiancé’s proposal to me on Orcas Island such a special memory by capturing the moment so smoothly and with so much care+love. I had never spoken to her beforehand (my fiancé set up the photoshoot as a surprise) yet I felt as though she was a friend instantly. It was so amazing working with Julianne for our wedding in July of 2022. She was such a fun ball of energy and continuously hyped us up during photos. She is such a kind, genuine person and I would recommend her to all my friends and family. She really became part of the wedding and fit right in. She even went and grabbed me a plate of our appetizers while my bridesmaids were putting up my bustle! Her photos came out AMAZING! I am still in shock about how perfect they are. Julianne did AMAZING every single time she photographed our family. She did our wedding and our daughters newborn photos. She was suppose to do our maternity pictures but little miss came the day I was suppose to have them! I recommend her to every friend I have that’s getting married. It’s hard to put into words how unbelievably amazing Julianne and her services are. Julianne was our engagement and wedding photographer and I am BLOWN away by her. Before we even met, Julianne was extremely communicative and prompt in planning and in understanding our vision. She gave suggestions of the most amazing location for our engagement shoot and outfit consultation. We fell in love with Julianne immediately - she made us feel so comfortable in our own skin, and even wrangled our dog so well. It felt like we were with an old friend. The pictures from our shoot were UNREAL. The way she plays with lighting and edits images made every.single.photo our favorite. Fast forward to our wedding, she brought the same energy, expertise and organization to our big day. She created a timeline and advised on places to shoot. She directed us through first looks seamlessly (even when nervous!) and handled our huge 18 person wedding party like a pro. Julianne not only was working hard the entire night, but she fit in SO well at the wedding. She was professional, friendly and so much fun. We’ve received a sneak peek of our wedding photos and they are so gorgeous. She has such an eye for spaces, lighting, backdrops and placements. Julianne captured our love, our dog and our wedding perfectly. To top it off, she even responded to an anxious text asking a few questions about photos (my ruminating brides will understand me 😉) I was stressed about finding a wedding photographer as it is a huge deal to have photos you feel good about for the rest of your life. I feel SO lucky to have found Julianne for our wedding and we will cherish our gorgeous, perfect photos forever. 1000/10 can’t recommend her enough ❤️

Julianne was great to work with! She was quick to respond, flexible with any changes we made, and always positive. She had a smile on her face for the entire day and SO many of our guests approached us to say how much they enjoyed her presence! She really set the mood for so many of our photoshoots. She was also SO fast to edit our photos and get them back! Seriously, record timing.

Hiring Julianne was such a great decision! During the event, she brought amazing energy and it was clear that she enjoys what she does. I do not generally like being photographed, but it didn't take long for me to feel comfortable with her behind the camera. The turn around time was super fast! I have so many friends who had to wait months and months, but I had all of the photos within the first month. The quality of the photos is also amazing and captured our wedding perfectly even though our venue was dark and indoors. I would recommend her to everyone and anyone who needs photos taken!

Where do I even begin? I literally cannot say enough wonderful things about Julianne. One of the kindest, most accommodating, down for adventure people I've ever met. So skilled at making you comfortable in front of the camera. We are from Oregon, and had hired her originally when we were having our wedding in WA. She came down to the northern Oregon coast for our engagement session. When our wedding had to be moved to the Southern Oregon Coast three months out, she didn't bat an eyelash and made it work. Both sessions resulted in absolutely incredible shots that I can't stop staring at and will treasure forever. One of this reasons I chose her was that she offered boudoir sessions, and again she did a great job of making me feeling comfortable and confident. I could gush all day but I think you get the point. Do not hesitate to book her. She is worth every penny and more. ❤️

I’ve done a few shoots with Julianne now and each one has been so much fun!! My favorite has to be the couples session we did before my hubby went on deployment, I love love love looking at them until he returns!

First off, I have always been nervous about my wedding photos. I don’t ever like photos of myself and it was something I was super worried about. That being said, I LOVE my wedding photos! Julianne did an absolutely amazing job!! Every person who was in my wedding party or had pictures taken that night told me how much they loved her energy. She is super bubbly and creative, and got shots I didn’t even think about taking. Also, it was a super quick turnaround for getting the photos back & amazing sneak peeks on Instagram. If you’re in the area she works in, here is your sign: THIS IS YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER! Just the best.

I cannot recommend Julianne enough! We took some family/maternity photos, newborn photos, sessions with both sets of grandparents, and Christmas photos. Each time the whole process felt incredibly natural and relaxed. We were so so thrilled with the results and are having a hard time picking which ones to frame! She worked with me to figure out the vibe we were going for and made sure to get all of the important shots I wanted. We are so excited to do more milestone photos and I hope she is available for my husband’s deployment homecoming! If I wasn’t already married when I met her, I definitely would have hired her as our wedding photographer (check out her Instagram page and you’ll quickly see why!). She takes the time to get to know you and gets the best shots while doing so (if you have children or pets in your wedding I guarantee she can get incredible shots of them as well).

I have been photographed by Julianne for years on several different occasions. I can’t say enough good things about her professionalism, work ethic and the quality of her photos. Julianne brings great energy to a session and has a special way of making her clients feel comfortable behind the camera. Also - I always get the photos back super quickly! All around 10/10!

My husband and I did a picnic photoshoot with Juls and she was incredible. We brought our dog who can be wild and she had toys and treats to keep him engaged. Juls has such an amazing presence and she makes you feel so comfortable in front of the camera! We loved every pic and I feel like she did an incredible job guiding us when we didn’t know how to pose but also getting totally candid pics that represent our relationship so well!

My husband and I hired Jules for our wedding initially and she was amazing! We had our engagement session with her and she had such great energy and helped us get comfortable. All of our guests enjoyed her energy at the wedding and reception as well! Following our wedding we saw that she was doing mini sessions for Christmas and decided to go to her again for our first Christmas photos as a married couple! Each time we have worked with her, Jules has improved her skills and is always super fun to work with! We will definitely be going back to her for future photography needs!
