We could not have asked for a better DJ for our wedding! Chris was so professional, communicative, and kept the energy up at our wedding reception. All of our guests were raving about our DJ and music all night long! He also sent us the cutest photos of our first dance - so thoughtful! We definitely recommend Jump Start DJs for any event!

Chris and Jeremy from Jump Start DJ's were amazing and my wife and I cannot say enough positive things about them. They were super easy to work with and the planning meetings, online planning forms, and song database made the process a breeze. They had a wonderful selection of music throughout the night and kept the dance floor full until the last song. We would 10/10 recommend Chris, Jeremy, and Jump Start DJ's!

We booked Chris to be our DJ at our wedding and couldn't be happier with the help he provided. He was a great communicator -- we had an initial call when booking for an overview of his services and figure out what we wanted. We then had another check in the couple weeks prior to our wedding to finalize details. He had a website which made it easy for us to work on our music and announcement preferences on our own time. He was flexible with incorporating our preferences and was very helpful in providing his expertise to assist with planning. We opted to have Chris sing and play acoustic guitar during cocktail hour and he was great! His dance set was so fun taking into account our song preferences and flowed so smoothly! Chris had amazing energy and it was so great to see him having fun with us! We definitely recommend hiring Jump Start DJ's for your big day!!

We booked Jumpstart DJ’s for our wedding and they are fantastic to work with! They provided you a portal where you can put your favorite songs, as well as your “do not play” songs. In addition, Jumpstart DJ’s is very reasonably priced for the excellent service they provide. We had DJ Eric, who is very friendly and laid back. During our first call with him, he took notes of all our important songs (recessional, first dance, etc). Our venue was small, but the ceremony, cocktail hour/reception and dinner were all in different spots. Eric had no issues moving his equipment around to make sure everything went seamlessly. One “above and beyond” thing Eric did that was very appreciated was going with the flow. Early in the afternoon, the forecast and radar said it was going to rain for the rest of the afternoon, so he setup his equipment for the rain option which was in a barn. However, after dinner, the rain stopped completely, and we decided we wanted to hold the reception outside. Eric moved his speakers and laptop into the yard and insisted it was not a big deal. It was incredible to enjoy the weather outside and appreciated Eric’s flexibility. Would absolutely recommend Jumpstart DJ’s for any wedding or event!

Chris was a 5+ star rated DJ! He was tremendously prepared, listened intently to what we wanted and was prompt and professional. His guitar playing and singing prior to the reception starting was fantastic. I can honestly say I never saw the dance floor empty the entire night. Can't thank you enough Chris for the spectacular evening!

Jump Start DJ's & Photo Booths was a wonderful and inclusive vendor to work with! Chris was great from start to finish. He was so open and willing to work with us on special songs and unique requests for our wedding and reception, including learning Simply the Best for our processional. Chris' wife was also lovely and so kind working the photo booth. We couldn't have asked for a better experience all around!

Chris is amazing! I actually work as a wedding photographer and had the opportunity to work a wedding that Chris was the DJ at. I knew after that wedding I HAD to have him as the DJ at our wedding and booked him immediately after getting engaged. He is great at communication and keeps you updated the entire process. His sense of human is also phenomenal and he had our dance floor packed ALL night long. Our guests were coming up to us telling us how great our DJ was. Cannot say enough great things about our experience working with DJ Eric and the Jump Start team! From start to finish the experience was seamless and made things so easy for us. Chris is so friendly, responsive, and organized. The client portal is extremely user friendly and very detailed/thoughtful to ensure every aspect of the wedding is personalized. Additionally, DJ Eric gave us a call a few weeks before the wedding to introduce himself and discuss details so that we were all of the same page when it came to music and order of events. This made us feel like Eric truly cared about making our day special. At the event, he was personable and professional, the sound quality was great and he did an awesome job of reading the room to play songs we had pre-selected as well as additional hits that fit the vibe and really got the crowd going. Chris did an AMAZING job as the DJ for our wedding. Our venue had a unique layout and it meant music had to be set up in 3 different locations, but Chris made the process so smooth throughout the entire night. When we had our last meeting with Chris before the day, he joked that our music taste would be a fun challenge for him. Well, he absolutely NAILED it. We only had 50 people at our intimate wedding, but Chris played all of our favorite songs and kept everyone on the dance floor the entire night. Would highly recommend Jump Start DJ's!

Chris is the owner of Jump Start DJ’s and provided music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner music, and dancing music. Our day would not have flowed so well without Chris! He was on top of everything and checked in as needed to make sure everything was going well. We had a couple meetings with Chris prior to our big day and knew he would be AMAZING! He has years of experience and also plays guitar! He played a few acoustic songs at our reception and they were a bit hit! Chris kept the party going by reading the crowd and everyone danced/sang all night!

Chris was absolutely the best DJ we could asked for! We “interviewed” multiple DJ’s and from the first conversation, we both agreed Chris was our guy. He asked us questions about our wedding that we never even thought of, and how grateful for that we were. Chris is as professional as they come. He is very easy to work with. He went above and beyond to work with all of our vendors. He even learned a new song for us to sing and play on his guitar! And did a fantastic job at performing it. It was a hit! His combination of excellent guitar playing/singing, along with his perfect music selection was beyond what we expected. Chris was an excellent DJ! In our very first conversation with him, we stressed the importance of having a full dance floor at our wedding reception. Chris totally understood the assignment and delivered on our wedding night! He was able to get a feel for the crowd as the night went on (a lot of 90s babies) and played music that everyone knew and loved! When he went acoustic for a few songs, it was very well received! In the week leading up to the wedding we made some slight changes to the order of events at our reception, and Chris was incredibly flexible and was able to accommodate the changes with ease. If we were to do it all again, we would absolutely book Chris as our DJ!

We loved Jump Start DJ’s! We had Lochlyn and Ty as our DJ’s. I texted Ty multiple times before the wedding with questions and I always received responses quickly. We even hired them for an extra hour because so many people wanted to stay on the dance floor! Can’t say enough good things about them!

I can’t say enough how Jump Start DJs helped make our day the best day imaginable! Chris has been great to communicate with, making the contract crystal clear and was always very fast at responses. Thomas was our DJ and we talked over the phone before the big day so that we could iron out the details. The day of he was early which was great! He was great at instructing us when to walk. Most importantly he kept our wedding guests happy on the dance floor. We had submitted song requests via the client portal. He played most of them and also threw in songs he felt the crowd wanted to hear and it really was perfect :) Overall, I would 100% recommend this company. Chris and Jump Start DJs helped us have an unforgettable wedding. He had everyone from our young nieces to their grandparents dancing throughout the night. He played so many of our suggested songs at the perfect time. Prior to our wedding day, he was so helpful in planning our day and open and flexible to our wishes. He really helped us think through the day and what was important to us. And when the day came, he kept us on schedule and really eased us through the day. He arrived early, was great with communication, took requests from our guests and made our day the celebration we were hoping for. We would book Chris and Jump Start DJs again without hesitation. Just make sure to get a larger dance floor than you think you'll need, Chris will keep it filled!

We used Jump Start DJ’s for our wedding. We chose to have Chris do it so we could have some live music as well. They had great options for the wedding packages that were straight forward and easy to understand. I thought the process to inform them of the details and the website to pick songs was great! The live music was amazing! Chris even worked with another musician friend or ours and learned a new song at our request which was really fantastic! It really added a special personal touch everyone loved!

Originally we hired Chris from Jumpstart DJs for his acoustic guitar ability during ceremony & cocktail hour. We talked with him on the phone and he was very personable and went over all the needed info and answered any questions the best he could. Shortly after hiring him, he reached out asking if another one of his DJs could work our wedding since a personal family event popped up on our wedding date. We agreed to have another one of his DJs. The online client area was wonderful to use. It made filling out our details for the timeline, ceremony, and reception a breeze. It was lots of fun listening to songs and listing them on the favorite & likes lists on the site. About 1 week before our wedding Robby reached out to us on the phone to go over all the forms we submitted. We discussed the music and timeline. For cocktail hour, we didn't really know what option to select on the form, but we told him we were wanting acoustic guitar vibes. Everything sounded good on the phone. The day of he showed up on time and set everything up. The ceremony music was played perfectly. During cocktail hour and dinner, however, it seemed as though the same 3 classical songs we used in our ceremony continuously were played. So that was really a bummer to listen to those songs over and over again while eating. Reception music was good, some of our songs from our forms were played. But a lot of other songs were played as well. It was the generic wedding playlist. But the dance floor was packed all night long and everyone had a rocking time! So overall we'd recommend Jumpstart DJs.

We originally scheduled our wedding for November 2021, but due to Covid, had to reschedule to March 2022. Chris was unable to attend our second date but assured me he would send his next best DJ. And he absolutely delivered! DJ Robby was prompt and helpful and kept the night moving but also was super flexible with the timeline. He played a good variation of music for an alternative/country/dance/pop mix (per our request). He checked in with the bride and groom often and really catered to our wants and needs. People continue to comment on how awesome the DJ was and that they were so surprised how full the dance floor was all night. We were so pleased with his services and would absolutely recommend Jumpstart DJs to anyone.

Before the big day, Chris was readily available to discuss any of our concerns, and we felt we were in great hands leading up to our wedding day. On the day of the wedding, we were blown away by the flexibility and attention to detail. Chris worked closely with our other vendors and made the necessary adjustments to our reception timeline to keep everything moving as planned. Once the dancing portion of the evening began, the dance floor was completely full until the end of the night. Chris had a great feel for the room and the type of music that was in favor with our guests, and it really showed. Our special day was an absolute blast, and that is thanks in no small part to Chris and Jump Start DJs - we could not have asked for more. A well-deserved 5 stars to a great company.

Chris did an AMAZING job at our wedding. While engaged, we attended a wedding that Chris was the DJ for and he never failed to keep the dance floor going - I got his card and booked him the next day! Right from the beginning he was amazing to work with and was always open to talk about our plans. We were looking for vendors that actually cared about us and not just another wedding, and Chris fit that perfectly! We delayed our wedding a full year and Chris was so accommodating and asked if he could do anything for us while we were delayed. The website Chris uses to create music playlists/requests was very easy to use. We knew from experience that Chris knew how to keep a dance floor full so we didn't have many songs on the list, and when we talked about it Chris knew we trusted his expertise. Leading up to the wedding there were a few changes on our end (including some the day of) that needed to change and Chris took those without delay. My absolute favorite thing that happened was my family reached out to Chris ahead of time and planned a flash mob surprise for my wife and I. Chris worked with my brother (without our knowledge) and was able to set up all the details without us knowing and it was absolutely amazing! In terms of the night, Chris did amazing and kept everyone happy. It was the most full dance floor I've seen at a wedding and a perfect mix. He knows from experience to play similar songs together to keep the same group up, but then also provide changes to get other guests involved. He even performed some live musical instruments for the crowd! We received so many compliments from guests on the DJ! On top of the DJ, we used the photo booth Chris also offered. We absolutely loved going through the book with photos and notes from our guests the next day. We were so happy to add that to our day and delighted we could work with Chris. Overall, it was a perfect experience and I couldn't recommend Chris more. If you aren't sure who to use, call Jump Start DJs!

Chris did a fantastic job of bringing our reception vision to life! Kept the dance floor alive all night and created music sets that were nostalgic to everyone. He was extremely professional, and we could not have asked for a better vendor. Our guests all agreed that Chris was one of the best wedding DJ's they'd ever heard.

Chris Delgado turned out to be a great pick for our wedding DJ! My wife and I coordinated with him entirely over the phone and email, since we live in LA. Chris made things easy for us despite having to delay our wedding for an entire year due to covid, and when the big day finally came, he was competent, classy, unobtrusive, and his guitar and vocal skills came in HUGE for us. He listened to what we wanted and played exactly that (I gave him an extensive selection via his online portal). Our outdoor venue's manager was annoyingly restrictive about volume levels, and when she said we had to cut off the amplified music / speakers at the end of the night because of local rules, Chris kept the good times going with his acoustic guitar and gave us more time on the dance floor to enjoy together as he sang us some songs. He's GOOD! (This is also coming from a guy that was maybe a little skeptical about the stranger-singing-with-an-acoustic-guitar proposition, like it maybe wouldn't be very "cool". I've very glad I put that concern aside and we asked him to play for us.) It was a super-great vibe-addition to the event. While we had Chris play our event personally, I'd trust his judgement, and bet that the other DJ's on his team are picked as best as anyone could, and well managed. So, enough with the review reviewing, just call him up!

Chris was AWESOME! We knew right away that our night would run smooth with Chris as our DJ. Chris was attentive, flexible, and stuck to our timeline. We had the best night ever, and Chris was a MAJOR piece of this!

Jump Start DJ's was wonderful! Our DJ was Tim, and he really helped make our reception a wonderful event. He clearly was experienced and knew what he was doing, he made time to speak with me prior to the event so that I could have peace of mind knowing that he was completely confident in our time line, and was easy to communicate with throughout the event. The music played was perfect and got great reviews from my whole family, he played a great blend of songs I'd requested and songs that guests requested throughout the evening, and was also very helpful throughout the event. It also must be said that the company was so accommodating throughout the pandemic- I'm a COVID bride and I had to postpone my reception twice, with the third chosen date being the one where we finally got to have our reception. They worked with me and were able to accommodate all date changes, as well as being so supportive and understanding through the difficult times. I think that Jump Start was a great choice and would definitely recommend their services to anyone hosting an event.

I was referred to Chris/Jump Start by our wedding venue owner. We had a last minute wedding and planned it all in just over a month, which meant coming up with all the songs and timelines pretty quickly. Somehow, Chris was available on the day of our wedding and our initial phone call was great. He was super friendly, wanted to know the style we were going for, gave me all the information I needed and I got set up on his website to input all my songs right away. We wanted Texas country music to be our main theme, which is kind of unique up in Michigan. Chris curated the most flawless playlist, I couldn't have imagined it any better. He managed to get all of our favorite songs in, seemed to understand exactly the energy we were looking for and he even played some acoustic songs for us which everybody loved. He was an amazing person to work with throughout the whole process, so friendly and extremely professional. He met all of the timelines we had for the special events, and was flexible when timing didn't line up perfectly. Could not recommend him enough, we loved him!

He had a lot of great suggestions the day of our wedding and made every effort to give us what we asked for, even providing audio for our officiant as the venue did not have this capability. Our wedding day was quite eventful with a tornado warning delaying the celebration. Chris was very flexible and accommodated our requests for changes in timing and order of events and made the evening go smoothly! He followed through on all the special song requests we had and had the dance floor packed ALL NIGHT! We added on an extra 30 minutes of his playing at the end of the night because he made the party want to keep going and going! He did an amazing job DJ-ing and playing live music himself, too! We were initially struggling to find a DJ due to COVID, but Jump Start DJ's said they would travel to Grand Rapids for us which was so lovely! They were very flexible and accommodating which was truly appreciated. They said they would contact me a few weeks before our wedding to finalize things but I hadn't heard anything up until the week of, so I reached out and got an email and call back immediately! Robby was a lot of fun, had everyone dancing and having a good time, and handled our request-happy families very professionally. The only thing that was missing was the anniversary dance that we requested. Not sure if something happened on our end (totally possible) but it would have been nice to have! Regardless, the music was great and we can't thank them enough!

Their system of planning forms is well-organized and gives couples a chance to express their style and music interests for the DJ. DJ Emile was very fun to work with!
