creative person on overdrive. The first sample piece was absolutely gorgeous. Using Dalia’s, roses. Orchids, cockscombs, etc. I wanted very unique exotic fall flowers and that’s exactly what he gave me. The next meeting he made another mockup which was TOTALLY different. I explained no changes were necessary from the first mockup. He promised my pieces would look just like the first one On our 3rd meeting to choose floral bases; Jimmy decided to just not show up to our meeting not once, not twice but 3x he made an appt with me & I drove from SI to BK to a locked up store because he “forgot”. The Fri before my wedding I go to see a sample of MY BOUQUET & a bridesmaids. They had ONE bridesmaid bouquet made up & NOT mine Wedding day. Jimmy was supposed to be at venue by 11am &shows up at 1pm. When he shows me my bouquet I knew this was going to be a disaster. It was EXACTLY THE SAME as my bridesmaids My mom had to stop getting ready & started pulling flowers out of centerpieces to make my bouquet bigger and stand out. I paid for 18 centerpieces, 10 aisle pieces & arch. The aisle pieces were to be repurposed around the reception room at the front of my sweetheart table, infront of my DJ, etc. Jimmy decided to NOT build my arch at all or hang my neon sign. & left it in 3 pieces on the FLOOR infront of the bar. When I walked into the room the entire focal point of the room where I was sitting was BARREN. Not ONE arrangement infront of the table. NO ARCH. NOTHING! No arrangements near the DJ or bar. He REPURPOSED my aisle pieces to my centerpieces and left no extra. It shows on my contract 18 centerpieces and 10 aisle pieces and 1 arch clear as day. I called him in a panic and my coordinator advised me that he already left AND TOOK A PLATE OF PASTA TO GO. Mind you he was not only paid in full but was also tipped along with his whole crew already., He told me he couldn’t build my arch because the piece to build it “broke” and it was too “heavy” because it rained. Mind you it DRIZZLED for 6 minutes. So lightly that the groomsmen didn’t even have droplets on them from being outside during the “rain” like what?!?! He made this executive decision of not doing what he was paid to do without offering an solution and without finding me and discussing it with me first. He told me “I couldn’t find you” and hung up on me. This whole ordeal delayed my reception by 45 min. I missed out on photos with my husband inside my venue. Had to skip cake cutting to makeup for lost time. & also he was told to bring WHITE roses for my cake in which he brought bright orange and ruined the entire aesthetic of my cake. Lastly, he sent a worker to come get his vases and stands at the end of the night who literally almost set the venue on FIRE. He took the pieces which had hanging globes with candles in them off the stand and placed the piece on the table. He never blew out the effin candles! So the pieces were laying ON TOP OF THE LIT CANDLES!!!. I paid for exotic flowers and received hydrangeas and LEAVES some scattered roses No orchids no Dalia’s. he has been actively avoiding phone calls. Blocked me on instagram. And refuses to make right by his mess. I will be reporting him to the BBB & taking him to small claims court. He is absolutely unprofessional & quite literally a liar and thief.
