I was a destination bride - April 3, 2026. We toured a million wedding venues in Scottsdale and Phoenix and I can honestly say we did not find any other venue that compares to the JW Marriott Camelback Inn Resort & Spa! The venue is absolutely breathtaking - every single direction you look you see the beautiful mountains and it really captures the fact that you are in Arizona. The JW Camelback Inn staff is also nothing but kind and professional - from the moment we first toured, to our food and beverage tasting, to our wedding day, and even afterwards, the staff had so much class and truly delivered a 5 star experience. I would like to give a special shout out to Marissa Moore - the Event Manager. Marissa was truly made for her job. You can see it in her eyes and hear it in her voice how much she enjoys working hard to carry out events that are beyond her client’s wildest dreams. Marissa truly became a friend and support system for me through out the entire wedding planning process; if there was anything I needed she was a quick call or text away. There is not ONE request of mine that Marissa did not wholeheartedly fulfill and she and her team truly went above and beyond the normal scope of a wedding venue. I am forever grateful to Marissa and the JW Camelback Inn team. The day of our wedding, Marissa and the team were extremely punctual and professional. All of our wedding guests can not stop raving about the seamlessness of everything. Every guest request was handled with the utmost importance. I have to mention the food and beverages - they are some of the absolute best!!! Overall, I am so grateful to have found this venue for our wedding and I truly can not wait for the next time I am able to visit!
This was the most amazing venue to work with. Reasonably priced for a beautiful resort. Marjorie the coordinator was a dream to work with. We even made huge changes the week of the wedding and she worked seamlessly to make sure we got what we wanted. Even with all the covid drama they worked with us and made us comfortable and feel in control the whole time. I can’t say enough good things about this resort. It was the most perfect location for my dream wedding.

Dating back to the 1930s when the hotel was constructed, our venue provides both modern upgraded ballrooms flawlessly combined with our classic Southwestern theming.
The JW Marriott Scottsdale Camelback Inn strives to ensure that couples enjoy a seamless and stress-free wedding day. As a luxury resort, this venue offers a plethora of accommodation options, allowing guests to enjoy the festivities without worrying about driving home. Along with ceremonies and receptions, we can also accommodate celebrations in relation to your wedding such as engagement parties, rehearsal dinners, and post-wedding brunch events.
WEDDING PLANNERS
The JW Marriott Camelback Inn requires that you employ an outside professional/certified wedding planner to assist with your wedding arrangements, ceremony, rehearsal and reception; the resort must pre-approve your planner and their qualifications. The wedding planner will work with you to coordinate all aspects of your rehearsal and ceremony, and may assist with your vendors, as appropriate. Your Camelback Inn Wedding Event Manager can provide you with names of our recommended planners. A minimum of 60 days for the Planner is acceptable. The hotel requires an event review meeting with you and your wedding planner no less than 2 weeks prior to your event.
