I had a wonderful stay at this property. It was extremely clean and the staff were fantastic. The room was comfortable with ambient lighting. You could tell the rooms had some sort of sound proofing, as I never heard a neighbor. The art and dec...

Shout out to some particular employees who made my stay great: Joel, James, George, Damon, Donald, and Raul. Thank you for your diligence and kindness. I’ll be back! Cheers

This review is incredibly late, but we had the pleasure of hosting our wedding at the JW Marriott Dallas Arts District in October 2023 and we couldn't be happier with our experience. From start to finish, the staff went above and beyond to ensu...
re that our special day was nothing short of perfect.
Our journey began with Alma, who patiently answered our numerous questions before we even booked the venue. Her professionalism and willingness to provide detailed information helped us feel confident in our choice. Once we began planning, Anna stepped in and truly made the process enjoyable and stress-free. She was incredibly organized, attentive, and always available to address any concerns we had. Anna's expertise and genuine care for our wedding day were evident in every interaction. We also collaborated with Xavier from Encore to ensure that everything looked stunning and was ready for our vendors.
The venue itself is absolutely breathtaking as we fell in love with all the details and artwork that thoughtfully went into the design and decor to really integrate the Arts District. When looking for venues, we really wanted to do both the ceremony and reception in one location to avoid travel, and I'm so glad we did because it rained most of the day of our wedding so everyone was able to stay dry and safe! Each aspect of the venue exceeded our expectations. The spaces are beautifully designed, and the ambiance was perfect for each part of our celebration.
We held the ceremony in the Flora Ballroom on 11, used the Harwood Foyer on 12 for the Cocktail Hour and Harwood Ballrooms A & B on 12 for the reception for about 225 people. We were able to use it for our rehearsal the night before, rented a Museum suite and the adjoining room to get ready, the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and we even stayed there the night before and the night of. Since we used the same suites we were staying in the night of the wedding to also get ready in, the staff was incredibly sweet and cleaned it up for us during the ceremony and reception so that it was clean and tidy when we got back, and they even left us a sweet note and celebratory treats.
Even 9 months later, we continue to receive compliments from our guests about how amazing the food was and how beautiful the venue is. The culinary team truly outdid themselves, providing a dining experience that was both delicious and elegantly presented. The service throughout the event was impeccable, with the staff being attentive and courteous at all times.
In summary, the JW Marriott Dallas Arts District is an exceptional wedding venue. The staff's incredible patience, attentiveness, and professionalism made our planning process smooth and our wedding day unforgettable. Alma, Anna, and Xavier, along with the rest of our incredible vendors, each played a crucial role in ensuring everything was perfect, and we are deeply grateful for their efforts. If you're looking for a venue that combines beauty, excellent service, and a dedicated team, we highly recommend the JW Marriott Dallas Arts District. Thank you for giving us our perfect day!

Wonderful views. Perfect location for the symphony and the museum. Executive lounge is great for breakfast and a light dinner before going out. The pool on the 11th floor is perfect. Very well kept with the large daily housekeeping staff, which...

Great service and location. We stay at Marriott Hotels exclusively and this is the first I’ve felt inclined to leave a review due to the mattress and pillows. They were below average. Flat down pillows, no extra pillows offered, and mattress wa...
s hard. We would have called for extra pillows but our phone didn’t work and we didn’t want to be bothered by technicians. The pool was nice and quiet. We were impressed by the breakfast in the Executive Lounge. The only thing that would keep us from staying again was the beds.

The hotel is beautiful and in a good area. I did get a free upgrade for the night with my elite status. The rooms have amazing views. Staff was friendly. Room was very clean and beautiful. Elevators were fast but there are 2 separate elevators ...
to get to your room. Ac worked really well and was easy to control. TV was very nice!
Cons: Bathroom doors slide open so very easy to hear inside and loud to close throughout the night. Parking options were valet at $55/day or an hourly self park at $5/hour. We parked at parkfast just down the street for $20/day. Pillows and bed weren't the best. They didn't issue me a mobile key when I checked in online. The grab and go cafe was overpriced and didn't look appetizing so we walked to Starbucks instead.
I definitely do think this hotel is way overpriced for the room and bedding you get. The views and location were definitely nice though.
