Krystin, Chiara, and the rest of the K Bella Event team made our wedding day even more spectacular than either of us could have imagined!! Throughout the planning process, Krystin's attention to detail and knowledge of the industry was astounding. She helped put together an absolute dream team of vendors, and our wedding was perfect from start to finish. Additionally, we didn't need to lift a finger on the wedding day - everything was taken care of so effortlessly by the K Bella Events team that we were able to just lean into the day and soak up every minute of it. We truly could not have had a better wedding day if we tried, and Krystin & her team made that a reality for us!
Krystin and her team made our wedding everything we could have dreamed of, and so much more! Krystin embodies everything a bespoke wedding planner and designer should be- she is exceptionally detail oriented, knowledgeable of the industry, and can execute a vision better than all the rest. Her eye for design and ability to incorporate the couple into each part of the planning process is what truly sets her apart. Our day was absolutely stunning and flawlessly executed, but most importantly it felt like us, which is a gift we will never be able to thank Krystin enough for. It goes without saying, but we cannot recommend Krystin and the K Bella Events team more!
There are a lot of good wedding planners in DC; people who plan beautiful evenings, people who think of every little detail- but I’m convinced there are none like Krystin. Krystin is professional, creative, fun, a total boss, and most importantly, keeps the couple’s best interest/needs/wants as her top priority. She is hands down the best wedding planner I could have ever wished for as we planned a wedding amidst multiple life changes happening at once (including moving cross country).
I’ll start with the most obvious about Krystin if you were to look at her website or Instagram- her impeccable taste and eye for what looks beautiful together. She has a natural ability to translate your vision into reality- she listens and takes the time to build your wedding from the ground up. Her approach works like this- you complete a design questionnaire and she gets a sense of what you and your partner are envisioning. She takes what you say and starts to mood board everything- colors, potential flowers, lighting, etc. Each bi weekly or weekly meeting you have with her, you work with Krystin on each detail… since we had partial planning, we took on some tasks and she took on others. It was completely doable for both my husband and I even though we have very busy jobs. She kept us on task and on time for every little detail, and as it approached the big day, her and her team swooped in to take care of last minute things.
Her team was professional and talented from the moment we met them. I cannot say enough good things about them. Caitlyn is the GOAT.
Most importantly, Krystin is someone you can trust to be on your side from the day you hire her. She was not just a wedding planner to us; she was our friend, therapist, enforcer, protector, and so much more. She shielded us from stressful issues with a couple of vendors and dealt with family drama like a total champ; even though I'm sure our family weighed on her at times, she never lost composure and remained professional and smiling the entire time.
If I could have paid Krystin triple what I did, I would have. You cannot go wrong with her and her team- they are A+++, 5 stars, creme de la creme <3
My husband and I can’t thank Krystin and her team enough for all that they did for us during the entire planning process and executing everything perfectly on our wedding day. We had been engaged for a while so I took my time screening planners/designers as it was important for me to find someone kind, professional, respectful, and artistically aligned with my vision for our wedding. As soon as I spoke with Krystin, I knew she was going to be the perfect fit. She has a beautiful eye for design, is super organized, and extremely kind. During the planning process, Krystin and her team scheduled calls appropriately and had a plan for all situations. Krystin also took the time to really get a sense of our individual tastes and connected us to vendors who she trusted with our vision. We also really appreciated her detailed budget sheet and her commitment to sticking to it. On the wedding day, I had a pretty stressful morning and as soon as Krystin and her team showed up, I was able to relax and know that everything would be okay. Krystin works without overwhelming anyone and made sure everything went perfectly. My husband and I were blown away by the design and ambiance at our wedding and heard from multiple guests that they were equally impressed. Her work is extremely beautiful and elegant. We are so happy that we booked K Bella Events for one of the most memorable days of our lives. We worked closely with Caitlin for month of coordination, who was everything you would hope for in a planner. She was responsive and would take calls to work through anything that was stressful or needed additional time, which for us was coordinating four different transportation vehicles from four different locations. We had planning calls leading up to the big day, and she accompanied us for the walk through at the venue and responded to all the questions the on-site coordinator had. The day of the wedding, Caitlin expertly corralled my bridal party of 12 girls through every stage - getting ready and keeping on time with hair and makeup, making sure our event items made it to the venue, getting onto the bus to make it to the church, back to the venue for cocktail hour, ensuring our 150 guests have everything they need at the winery, and finally making sure that me and my husband were having a great time and didn't have to stress through any small detail or hiccup. I would highly recommend this company for your wedding planning needs. Getting married is already super stressful, and I highly recommend investing money so you can have Caitlin and Krystin work through the details so you can enjoy every moment leading up to the big day. So, Krystin rocks. We hired her to do 2-month out planning for our wedding hosted on personal property, when we were freaking out about all the things we had probably forgotten. So many moving parts, from busses, the band, the caterer, parking snafus, etc. Krystin was calm, fun, and such a good partner to me and my husband for the 8 weeks leading up to the event, and helped us have peace of mind that we had done everything possible to make the day run smoothly. She truly went above and beyond expectations, managing a (very difficult) transportation fleet, attending our rehearsal, helping manage parents and family, and just overall keeping the stress levels as low as possible. Looking back, I can truly say that I wasn't stressed at a single moment of our day, and so much of that is due to Krystin - would absolutely recommend hiring her!
Krystin was amazing! We reached out to her about 6 weeks away from our wedding day and she seriously helped us pull it all together. We already had our vendors chosen, but needed help with day-of logistics. Krystin absolutely went above and beyond what we were expecting. She didn’t miss a beat with the details on anything, had a solid plan in place, and made sure that everything day of went smoothly and was stress-free. She was incredible! I would recommend her to anyone in the DC area looking for a solid planner.
Krystin of KBella, made our daughter's wedding day go so smoothly. We appreciated her attention to detail before and during the reception. It gave my husband and I the opportunity to visit with our guests instead of manage the caterer, or the dj or the florist... the list goes on! Many of our guests commented on how discretely she handled everything during the reception. We would highly recommend her for any future events.
Krystin was extremely attentive to us for all our needs on our wedding day! She kept us on track with our schedule and helped us with last minute requests to ensure everything ran as smoothly as possible between our Catholic ceremony/mass and our reception.
