The ceremony was beautiful!
My husband and I got married at The Ka’anapali Beach Hotel in September 2019 and everything was perfect! Our ceremony & reception was on the property, we were also guests at the hotel. The views, service, food and all of the vendors included where amazing. Highly recommend!
Our entire experience with Ka’anapali Beach Hotel was fantastic!
KBH has always been a great hotel to stay at because their hospitality is above the rest and it’s a beautiful property. When it came time to choose a venue for our wedding we looked at a couple of places but from the moment we stepped foot on the Naupaka Lawn & Plumeria Lawn we knew there was nowhere else we’d want to get married. It felt so right. And since all out past stays with them had been great it made for the perfect choice.
Our wedding day went perfectly and everything came together beautifully. KBH and all our vendors really hit the mark! We stayed there too so it was really nice watching the staff set up the ceremony and reception lawns. We appreciated how much time they put into making sure everything was pretty and perfect. We are very happy with how it all turned out.
Gladys, the Wedding Coordinator, was lovely to work with; she was attentive and always responded to questions quickly. On our wedding day she was around making sure everything went smoothly and on time. We had a very stress free day because of her. Thanks Gladys!
Madie, F & B Manager, as well as the rest of the food & beverage team did an excellent job! The execution of service was flawless and a major kudos to the Chef because everyone loved the food.
Last but not least, a shout out to the valet, front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, bartenders, brunch servers and everyone else we had the pleasure to meet. You made the overall experience a great one too!
We honestly cannot say enough great things about the KBH. You’ll have a great time choosing them as your home away from home and, if you’re getting married, they will make an excellent venue choice.

P.S. Cheers to the family from Australia that gifted us the delicious bottle of ARRAs champagne!! We got to talking and realized we had each seen you on our wedding day. Thanks for being a part of our memories and for the sweet gift!
Kristin at KBH made the destination wedding planning process so easy! I couldn't have planned a more perfect wedding had I been there myself. She was wonderful to work with from afar and such a pleasure to meet in person. The experience she created for our wedding day was unforgettable, from every detail of the ceremony to the reception afterward. Every staff person we worked with the day of was kind and attentive, and the minister was exceptional. All of this coupled with a gorgeous oceanfront ceremony site makes KBH a total obvious choice for booking your Hawaiian wedding. Thank you for making our day so special.
My son and his then fiancé had their wedding and reception at the Kaanapali Beach Hotel on November 8, 2016. I was the person In charge of coordinating with the catering sales manager Kristin Agbayani. The wedding went very smoothly, thanks to Kristin. Her and her staff were very accommodating. Kristin was very quick in answering inquiries, whether it was a change in the menu, adding/subtracting guest...you name it, she got right to it. The bridal bouquet, the cake, the set up from ceremony to reception was absolutely beautiful! My son and his new bride could not be anymore happier with the way things turned out! Anyone looking to get married in Maui, look no further...Kristin Agbayani at the Kaanapali Beach Hotel!!!
This hotel is VERY Hawaiian! I absolutely loved it! The location we were married and had our dinner reception was the Molokai Lawn / the lawn along the beach. It was so beautiful - every little piece! We had Pastor Laki as our officiant and he was SO GREAT. We worked with Kristin at the hotel/venue throughout the planning process. She was attentive and really helped us organize everything. What a fantastic day...
My husband's really wanted to go Hawaii for our honeymoon -- Maui in particular -- and I didn't think we'd be able to swing it as saying on Maui is quite expensive. He found Kaanapali Beach Hotel while looking for accomodations online and I will admit I was a bit skeptical. Staying at a hotel that's built among a ton of resorts on West Maui? Well, it turned out fantastically. We were on a budget, so we booked the cheapest room type in the hotel and were pleasantly surprised to be right on the beach with a great view. We were welcomed to a complimentary breakfast the first morning of our stay to introduce us to the hotel and their services -- they weren't trying to sell us anything, either, just trying to help us out! The room itself was simple, but very nicely appointed. The hotel provided entertainment each night from 6-9 p.m. which was always a great show of local performers. The food at the hotel was AMAZING. The hotel serves a champagne brunch each Sunday morning and was easily underpriced at the $36.95/person price. The champagne was unlimited and the food offered at the brunch was outstanding -- a raw bar with fresh sushi, a custom omlette station, a full dessert table, a full salad bar and more regional cuisine offerings than I could even sample. When it came time to leave, they did a ceremony where they give you a kukui nut lei as a token of their appreciation that you chose them as your hotel. If you return, take the lei back because they'll put a white nut on it as a return customer -- there was actually a couple there that had returned SIX times!! I truly hope that we get to go back!
Overall, I nice place. I would stay here again.
This location was a amazing! Our oceanfront ceremony location was perfect (once a friend made sure they removed the "caution" tape beforehand. The only reasons I don not give the hotel 5 stars in because the wedding coordinator was not quite as helpful as I'd hoped (but everything was still perfect) and the beds are not the most comfortable. BUT, the minister they provided was AMAZING and I couldn't have dreamed of a better ceremony.
Kaanapali Beach Hotel was really nice, but we prefered other places we stayed at in Hawaii. It is known as the most Hawaiian Hotel, and they do keep to tradition which is awesome.
Nice packages to choose from. Great deal for all that was included in our package. Grounds were very clean and well kept. Absolutely gorgeous. 2 Restaurants on premises. Right on the beach. Local crafters come every morning. Very informative staff and does not push you into any activities-they don't get commission. Very helpful and tell you what company is good for each activity. Not over the top ammenities, but great value for everything that is included. Staff was very friendly.
I rented two outdoor lawns...the private wedding lawn for the ceremony and the Molokai lawn for the reception. It was such a gorgeous location. The dinner went very smoothly, and they were able to accommodate all my special requests. The on-site wedding coordinator is very very busy, so expect to wait for correspondence. If I could do it all again, I'd still choose this location, but I'd have a wedding coordinator make the arrangements because I'm the impatient type. ;)
