Kaila is the ABSOLUTE BEST. She is not only incredibly sweet and funny, she's also amazingly talented at what she does! She had already sent us our wedding preview pics and they are stunning. I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH WONDERFUL THINGS ABOUT KAILA!!! From day one she was so wonderful, accommodating, patient, kind, and fun to work with. I would give Kaila a 7/5 stars if I could. This girl is MORE than a photographer. Day of wedding she held my dress so I could get aims airflow while dismissing guests, she kept people off spilled drinks on the dance floor while still photographing the action, she spent an hour on the phone talking me through a timeline mishap the week of the wedding to make sure we minimized stress day of wedding. As for her photography skills — they are GOLDEN. Kaila has a gift of capturing moments that scream the emotions the people are feeling. The warmth, the emotion, the love just come through the screen. Please, do yourself a favor and book Kaila. I promise on wedding day you can’t just trust anyone to capture these fleeting moments you want to last forever. Words can describe the appreciation I have for Kaila. She played a huge role in making our day special. Let me first say that Kaila is so much more than a photographer. She helped us with our timeline, she fixed my hair in the middle of our reception, and she never failed to remind me of the things that were most important to me. And in some of those stressful moments during the day, she knew exactly what to do to help smooth things over. Now...the photos. They're incredible. Kaila captured the most amazing shots, and every single one is my favorite. We aren't usually into getting photos taken, but she truly made it fun. I could not recommend Kaila enough!!! She and her second shooter Kara were beyond phenomenal. My husband and I are not people who enjoy being the center of attention or behind the camera, and Kaila and Kara made us feel so comfortable and it felt like we were all friends. Kaila was everything we wanted in a wedding photographer!! We had our wedding in October 2020, which of course had some changes due to COVID. Kaila was more than willing to work with me and help create the perfect timeline for the day. The photos were absolutely beautiful - my family cannot stop gushing over them. She was funny, kind, and easy to work with. I also really appreciated the quick responses via email when I had last-minute questions. I would recommend Kaila to all of my family and friends getting married in Ohio.

I reached out to Kaila on June 30 after my fiancé (now husband!) and I made the difficult decision to cancel our postponed destination wedding in Mexico due to the pandemic. We decided to instead have a small wedding in my sister and brother-in-law’s backyard in Dublin, OH, over Labor Day Weekend, so I suddenly found myself needing to plan an entire wedding in two months. I was frantically searching photographers on Instagram and came across Kaila. I loved her style of photos, so I checked out her website and sent her a message asking about her availability. Kaila responded within an hour confirming her availability, and over the next few hours we messaged back and forth. She kindly answered my questions and addressed concerns I had about how wedding photos in a suburban backyard would look. All I can say is that even through email, Kaila’s warmth and positivity absolutely shines. I knew we had hit the photographer jackpot, and by the next evening my fiancé and I had signed our contract with Kaila. Since we did not have a DJ for our wedding, Kaila was a huge help in setting a timeline for our day, and on the day-of she kept things moving and on track. I was constantly asking “what time is it?! How are we doing on time??” and she would always answer calmly and would assure me that we were right on schedule. I was definitely an anxious bride after everything we had gone through with postponing and then canceling our original wedding plans, and she was an expert at calming my nerves. She was the perfect combination of professional and compassionate. Once the ceremony was over and we moved on to family portraits, Kaila was great at gathering everyone who needed to be in a particular shot and getting the photos done quickly so that everyone could eat, socialize, and enjoy themselves. Kaila had awesome suggestions for our individual and couple portraits, and her directions for how to position ourselves were very clear. My fiancé and I can often look a bit stiff or awkward in photos, but Kaila’s directions and demeanor made us feel so comfortable and confident, and the resulting photos reflect that. She was also happy to take requests for specific photos that I thought of on the spot (like recreating a photo of my siblings and me from years ago) and would give suggestions for how to make those photos even better. Two days after our wedding, Kaila sent us our previews. I was expecting just a handful of photos, but we received dozens! That was such an awesome surprise. The photos themselves were incredible and it was so fun going through them and reliving the joy of our wedding day. Simply said, Kaila is a master of her craft. The shots are beautifully edited, you can see her expertise in our posing, and she caught so many little moments that are so precious for us to remember. And those are just the previews, we still have the whole gallery to anticipate and enjoy! I honestly cannot recommend Kaila enough. I wish I was having another wedding tomorrow just so I could have her photograph it again! Kaila made our wedding day so special and was a major factor in how perfect the day turned out to be. I hope I have reason to work with her again in the future – if we decide to do a couples or family photo session, she will absolutely be our go-to. If you work with Kaila, you will not regret it – it may just be the best decision you’ll make for your wedding, because it certainly was for mine!

I don't even know where to begin. Kaila was absolutely incredible. Not only are every single one of our photos stunning and better than I could have imagined, but she was also so much more than just a photographer. She was my hype-girl, voice of reason, therapist, basically a bridesmaid (she did my bustle and fixed my hair and veil), and thought of absolutely everything. We had a Covid19 wedding and had to un-invite all of our guests among so much more of our wedding changing so our wedding pictures were very important to us. Kaila did amazing! She was very professional all day and kept great composure even when some would try to change what her photo shots should be or when our bridal party wasn’t listening. Kaila captured all of our family portraits that we listed out perfectly. When it was time for the bride and groom pictures she knew exactly what pictures she wanted and gave great direction. She was perfect when it came to questions before booking, during the process of the contract and communicated well leading up to our special day. She got our pictures to us in a very timely manner, faster than we could have expected especially when comparing it to other couples. You will not go wrong with booking with Kaila Sarene Photography. She is beyond talented at what she does and puts her heart into it!

Kaila was a joy to work with! We had to make so many compromises as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic - as such, our wedding turned out to be a lot different from what we had originally planned. A lot of vendors struggled to deal with the resulting uncertainty but Kaila never faltered and was a source of rock-steady poise throughout everything. She did everything she said she was going to do when she said that she was going to do it. I never had to worry about her reliability or her professionalism during our work relationship - when everything else was going to pieces as a result of the pandemic, it was nice to know that we could always count on her. Kaila's workflow is excellent as well - all of the contractual details were managed online with clear, easy to understand language and immediate, "always on" accessibility. The entire process was so convenient and easy. This convenience factor was especially important to us because we got married in my wife's childhood church which was nowhere near our current residence. Additionally, Kaila has an easygoing temperament that will mesh well with a lot of personalities - that's an underrated virtue when you have a big family with a lot of strong personalities. I appreciated Kaila's ability and desire to work well with everybody - everyone seems to have an opinion when it comes to wedding so the ability to be diplomatic is critical to success. Finally, I LOVE our wedding photos. We hired Kaila for a total of 5 hours and Kaila worked every second of the 5 hours that we paid for. Not only that, she worked with us in some of the worst heat and humidity! Not once did Kaila complain or suggest that we compromise our vision because of the heat. We were so impressed with Kaila that we retained her for our delayed wedding reception that we are having next year - repeat business is the best endorsement, no? I wholeheartedly recommend Kaila without reservation.

Kaila made all my wedding photography dreams come true! She was very organized and quick to respond to email and texts. She was accommodating, affordable, and easygoing. Very calm, cool and collected while staging shots and getting my family portraits together. She took amazing photos and got them back to me in record time! She even sent me several edited wedding photos before the night was over! She did my engagement photos, boudoir, and wedding. I would highly recommend booking her!!

2 things stand out to me about working with Kaila- she feels like a friend, and the photos she takes are beyond. From the engagement photos to the day of the wedding, she was reliable, communicative, and never once did I feel concern about working with her. Aside from taking amazing photos, she made us feel comfortable and supported as more than a photographer-couple relationship. We even bonded over tacos and went to dinner after engagement photos since we loved her and her husband so much! Kaila did an absolutely spectacular job with our wedding photos. This was the service I was most anxious about when wedding planning because I had such high expectations however she went above and behind. I was constantly tagging her in inspo wedding photos leading up to the date and she was such a good sport about understanding my vision. Kaila was the perfect mix of taking charge to bring my vision to life quickly so we could get them done and get back to celebrating while letting me put my two cents in occasionally and accommodating family (and my 2 and 3 year old nieces who can't sit still). We had 30 photos the next day to look at during the honeymoon which was such a welcome surprise. She truly is SO talented. I cannot recommend her enough. Every photo took my breath away and 4 months later, I still look at them all the time. If you're as stressed about choosing a photographer as I was, look no further. She truly captured memories of our wedding day that I'll look fondly on forever.

Kaila is THE BEST! She was an absolute dream to work with, and I now consider her a friend. The morning of our Engagement shoot in Cincinnati, she unfortunately got sick and had to reschedule. My husband and I live in Nashville, so she jumped on a flight the following week just for our shoot. On my Wedding day, she helped to keep me calm and was so fun to have by my side throughout the day. I could not recommend her enough!

BOOK HER ! Let me tell you - weddings are expensive and good photographers are even more expensive! Everyone said a good photographer was worth the extra cost, but what's so awesome about Kaila is that she is a GREAT photographer at a really reasonable cost. The entire day she was nothing but helpful, caring and assertive. She let me tell her what shots I had been hoping for while not being afraid to speak up and encourage us to try shots out of our comfort zone. She left our reception and got us a preview of our photos THAT NIGHT - talk about a rock star. I have to start with I LOVE KAILA! And no, I do not know her outside of being our wedding photographer. From the very beginning she was a delight to work with, from answering my 100000 questions when we first talked to editing the photos. She was fantastic the entire time. I had let her know my date but hadn't booked yet and she let me know once it was time to book because somebody else was inquiring about my date. I emailed her throughout the entire year including asking her if my groomsmen should wear white or ivory (I trust the professionals) She is extremely organized, there's a questionnaire that she sent me to fill out pre-wedding, and it gave me life, the questions were so detailed that I knew I didn't have to worry about anything. She reviewed my timeline, gave suggestions and worked with me the week leading up to the wedding. On the day of Kaila was early and ready! She definitely knows what she's doing, she got right to it, she's open to suggestions of what you want shot so don't be shy to tell her if there's a shot you really want! we hadn't done an engagement shoot because my husband really hates being in photos, yet being photographed by her felt comfortable for both of us, we would giggle when we felt silly which also ended up being some of our favorite photos. Even my husband loved the photos of himself, so really Kaila is a photo wizard and I couldn't be happier with my decision to have her at our wedding.

Kaila photographed my daughter’s wedding last week and did an amazing job. She had some of the pics edited and posted the next day! She took charge as soon as she arrived making sure to get every photo that we had talked about prior. Highly recommend!!!

Kaila went above and beyond in order to capture our special day just the way I've always dreamed. I am usually very awkward and have no idea how to pose, yet she made it so effortless and easy for us to look so good! I have a VERY large family and was nervous about rallying everyone together for the family photo, and she took charge so I did not have to and got everyone together for the shot! I always knew my wedding day would be the best day ever! I’ve been looking forward to it for as long as I can remember and wanted everything to be perfect- and Kaila made sure of it. I was in love all over again. I've had this weird void since my wedding in July and felt like I missed my wedding day because the time went so fast. Looking over these photos again brought back all the memories I thought were lost, and I am so grateful that Kaila was able to capture all those memories in a way that filled those voids I wasn't able to remember that day. Her editing is beautiful and the photos make me feel like she captured exactly what I envisioned for my wedding photographs. Kaila did my husband and I's engagement shoot when we got engaged as well as our wedding day photography. We were incredibly pleased with our pictures from the engagement shoot. She made everything easy for us and already had ideas for poses and props in her head when she arrived. She also let us use our imagination. People still tell me how beautiful they thought the engagement shoot was and we got many compliments on the style of them. :) she did our wedding day two weeks ago and even though we haven't gotten all of the pictures back yet, the previews have been amazing and made me so excited to see the rest!
