Kyler is awesome!! We first met him at Ko'olau Ballroom's wedding expo and he was really nice and very knowledgeable. We did both our engagement pictures and wedding pictures with him, so it was nice to get to know him before the big day. My husband and I were worried about our pictures being too "posed" but Kyler was able to make our pictures look very organic and natural and they came out beautifully. He has a very calm presence which helped put us at ease. This was great to have on a day as busy and stressful as our wedding day! What was also great was that he was very familiar with our venue and knew the best places to go to take pictures during our cocktail hour. He is so efficient and thorough and we were able to finish pictures a little early so we could enjoy some down time before the reception started. Highly recommend him and his team!! Kyler and Kai-Photo was one of the first vendors we booked, which worked out great because he was able to help recommend others to help fill out our roster. He was flexible as we tried to work out our schedule for the day, with a large gap of time between our ceremony and our reception, it took some work to make sure we had the proper coverage and to minimize the idle time. When my wife requested some photos with the ocean as background, he pointed out that the beach across from our reception venue did not allow commercial photography but there was a terrace on the 3rd floor that would be perfect for what she wanted, and that was just one of a dozen suggestions or ideas he had to help us out. And of course, the photos we got back were wonderful. Throughout this process, he was definitely a terrific partner in putting together our special day.

Kyler was so great to work with. I am personally not a big photo person and I get nervous in front of the camera and he totally made me and everyone else involved feel so comfortable and included. It was an effortless experience on our end and we could not have asked for more on our wedding day! 😍

Kyler helped us plan our wedding ceremony while we were out of state and he made it an absolutely breeze!!! Everything went so wonderfully we joked it must not have been an actual wedding as we never felt stressed day of. We love Kyler and Kai-Photo! I wish we could give them more than 5 stars because they truly deserve it. We worked with Kyler in 2019 for our engagement photos after our family recommended him. We absolutely loved all of our photos and working with Kyler was such an easy and enjoyable process, that we were so excited to work with again for our wedding. Due to Covid-19, we had to postpone our wedding from October 2020 to October 2021. Throughout the two years that we have worked with Kyler, he has been nothing but professional, personable, extremely responsive, and always willing to answer our questions and offer his expertise when we need it. Words can't express how much we have enjoyed working with Kyler and how wonderful he is. He traveled from Oahu to the Big Island for our wedding and arrived on time and ready to go. He was so great with directing all of us for pictures, whether it was myself, my bridesmaids, or any of the guys. He was also so great with our 5 year old flower girl and ring bearer. I know that it can sometimes be challenging to engage young kids in photos, but Kyler knew exactly how to engage and interact with them during the photos that they were included in. Overall Kyler made the entire day and all photography so enjoyable and effortless for us, and I think it really shows through on our photos. We absolutely LOVE all of our photos and could not have asked for anyone or anything better! Kyler is very detail orientated and made sure to take the time to help us pose, direct us, or remind us to fix our hair or leis when needed. He was extremely attentive and was open to all of the things we wanted to do/incorporate into our wedding photos, such as going back to the same beach where we did our engagement photos to get a few in our wedding attire. He even helped us redo our photography timeline about a month out from the wedding, and we can't thank him enough. It turned out to be everything and more than we could have hoped for. We hired Kyler to photograph our elopement ceremony on Oahu and wholeheartedly recommend his services to other couples. We virtually met with several photographers while deciding on our final vendor, and Kyler stood out with his level of professionalism and attention to detail. He was also the photographer who seemed most genuinely interested in who we were as a couple and capturing our day in a way that was authentic to us. He had pre-prepared information to help us decide on our ceremony location, which ended up being in Waimanalo Bay. The notes he took on our first meeting were valuable in keeping us on track--there were several times I had forgotten important logistical things to do, but Kyler was there with a timely email to make sure everything got done. The day of our ceremony, Kyler was the perfect balance between calm/reassuring and directive. I thought I would be tired of posing for the 2 hours we had booked, but the time flew by. Our photographer was awesome! We had some trying times with the weather. It was super windy and raining off and on. He was able to get some amazing shots even with the elements interfering. He was super patient, easy going, and very professional. Our photos turned out great! I would absolutely recommend Kai-photo to everyone!

Since our wedding was a destination wedding and our fabulous planner took care of everything we needed, we didn't even know the name of our photographer till the day of. That sounds a little suspicious if not crazy, but the moment I met Kyle, I knew our photos would be great. He was chill, he knew what he was doing ( the venue, too) and very easy to work with. Most of our guests and my husband don't speak English so he might had difficulties to arrange group photos, but that was the only hiccup we had. I just received photos and these are AMAZING! As a bride, everything went so quick and I couldn't pay attention to everything during the ceremony, but he captured everything. I LOVE one specific shot that my husband hugging my mom while giving her a lei which I couldn't see from where I was standing. Kai Photo did the wedding photos for me and my husband. Everything went so well with them. Kyler was so great at responding to us quickly and professionally right from our inquiry. He answered so many of my questions and very helpful and informative up to the big day. On our wedding day he was very easy to work with and very patient with me (I was 30 minutes late to our sheduled time due to a dress problem). My husband, my parents and my in-laws thought Kyler and his team were super nice thoughout the first look photos, ceremony and reception. After the wedding, Kyler updated us on when we would receive our photos and it didn't take long at all and all the photos were amazing. Deciding to go with Kai-Photo Hawaii for our engagement and wedding photography was a decision we will never regret. We hired Kai-Photo because after meeting Kyler, we felt that we found someone personable, exceptionally skilled and truly dedicated to their art, genuinely interested in getting to know us as a couple, and easy to work with. We aren’t camera people, so having a photographer we felt comfortable around and could trust was incredibly important to us. On top of all of that, we don’t know of anyone who does panoramic crystal albums the way Kai-Photo does. From the first time we contacted Kai-Photo and throughout the months that followed, Kyler responded quickly and meticulously answered all of our questions. The way he gave us information, suggestions, and timeline deadlines in manageable chunks showed us how organized, knowledgeable, and experienced he was. Kyler worked with us to create a wedding photography timeline that would get us the shots that we wanted in the amount of time we had, suggested efficient ways to get photos with all our guests in the amount of space we would have, and even offered to look at our reception program for us when we mentioned that we weren’t sure if the timing was right. Talk about going the extra mile, and we found that this work ethic also showed in the photos that Kai-Photo took and processed for us. Kyler worked around our schedules to do a two-location engagement photo shoot that told our story, even accommodating that the locations were farther apart than what would be normally recommended for the time constraint. This was our first experience with a professional photographer so we were nervous, but Kyler was able to help us feel comfortable. He balanced giving us solid directions with asking for our input regarding special poses or backgrounds. It ended up being a super fun experience, and it was neat that Kyler was getting excited about the photos and wanted to show us sneak peaks of shots he got. He sent us the link to our online gallery in less than two weeks, and the photos were amazing! We loved the variety of special moments captured against the vibrant scenic colors and creative lighting setups. Kyler and another photographer, Kristy, came to our wedding. They were both friendly and professional as they met our family and wedding party, which helped everyone to feel at ease. Kyler’s attention to detail really stood out to us; he caught little things like the bottom button of one of the groomsmen’s jackets that shouldn’t have been buttoned, or fixed how my dress fell to show off its intricacies. Kyler and Kristy blended in seamlessly during the ceremony while getting their shots; we hardly even noticed they were there and yet they captured so many of the moments that we want to remember. Even when things happened outside of “the plan” like family members not all present for family photos, waves coming onto the shore where we were going to stand, guests asking to snap photos with their cameras, and my last minute request to take a few extra photos with my bridal party, they handled it calmly and with grace. We received our processed photos just about five weeks later and are thrilled with how they came out. The link to the online gallery has been great to share with family and friends, and we continue to get compliments about our engagement session and wedding photos. We feel so fortunate to have found Kyler of Kai-Photo Hawaii and would hire him again in a heartbeat.

We have had photos taken by Kai a couple of years ago. This year, we decided to do something together as a family to include our kids in our vowel renewal. I was busy with work and was briefly explaining to Kyler what I would like to do. After considering my requests, Kyler suggested to do a sand ceremony for our family. He scheduled everything for us from the officiant to makeup artist. All I had to do was worry about bring the sand bottles for the ceremony. His photos were beautiful and the colors were vibrant. The location suggested was also beautiful as well. It was a memorable ceremony for us and our kids and we now have photos as proof! I would definitely recommend Kyler and his services. He was fast, efficient, and very punctual---which is a plus bc it seems everyone is on island time there =)

Our pictures came out beautifully and professionally done! It's a bit expensive, but I'd rather pay to have really good pictures than pay less to have disappointing pictures. If having pictures of your special day is important to you, then this is worth the investment! Kyler is very knowledgeable, gave suggestions at our pre-wedding session, is familiar with Hawaii locations so he knows the advantages and disadvantages of the site (you can tell he has a lot of experience), and is great about being flexible to let you enjoy your special day and guests... yet he catches so many great moments on camera that we missed. My friends and family also enjoyed the photos and complimented them a lot! We highly recommend Kai-Photo Hawaii!

I was so glad that I found Kai Photo! From the initial email to meeting him for the photoshoot, it was all a breeze. He is super responsive and gives his most honest opinion in regards to all my questions and concerns (what color dress I should wear, what color shows up best with the pretty blue background of Hawaii, etc.). My boyfriend and I are not the best with posing or anything, but he was able to make us comfortable and take such great photos. Kyler suggested a few poses and they all turned out great! We especially loved the silhouette photos that not a lot of photographers do. Lastly, he got us the pictures in just a couple of days! Will definitely be back and have him take more pictures next time!

As most know, planning a wedding and the day of the wedding is a whirlwind of mind blurring decisions and events, Kyler made everything easy and seemless. I mentioned that I wanted more casual candid pictures and he caught moments that were priceless. At the last minute, we had a change in schedule and he worked with me to de-stress the change into a smooth revision to our schedule. Kyler was AMAZING! I was a very hands off person. I was not your typical bride and did not really know the wedding basics and shared that with Kyler during our first conversation. He sent us options, gave us advice (unplugged ceremonies are the way to go people!), and most of all caught the best moments on camera! Our ceremony was small (40 people) and our party the next day (200 people) was a whirlwind and Kyler got photos of moment I don't even remember! The quality of the photos is something you cannot capture on a cell phone. I appreciate that although I didn't know what I wanted, Kyler was intuitive! He made suggestions based on our style and that is something that made me feel more comfortable during the more formal photo sessions. I am so grateful for his expertise, his super awesome chill personality, and his follow up. Bonus - our photos were delivered FAST! As almost any [married] couple will tell you, this very special day will fly by! Thus it's VERY important to have photos and/or video to capture every beautiful moment so that you can treasure it forever. Working with Kyler from Kai-Photo was probably the best decision we made when planning our destination wedding on Oahu! My husband and I were definitely a bit anxious planning our wedding from 4500 miles away (East Coast), but working with Kyler made us feel so much better about everything. He helped us plan our family and friends list for specific shots and even met with us shortly after we landed in Honolulu to go over our timeline and make us feel at ease. When the BIG day came we ran into a few obstacles, as most couples do on their wedding day, but Kyler was very flexible and, even though we had to start our ceremony a bit later than expected, he made the most out of our time with him and we even got an unexpected first look photo shoot in which turned into some amazing shots! After the ceremony, we traveled to different locations around the coast and Kyler truly made us feel like celebrities while taking some absolutely stunning photographs! We just got married a month ago in Hawaii and Kyler was absolutely amazing! We were very concerned with hiring a right photographer for our wedding. We got married at a chapel that had in house photographers, but we wanted hire one on our own to make sure we end up with great wedding photos. Kyler was very prompt with all our questions, even before we made our decision to go with him - he showed us his previous works at the venue which we were very pleased with. Having Kai Photography as our wedding photographer vendor was the best decision I could ever make in selecting the best of the best. They were extremely professional, fun, interactive, and most importantly, made me feel comfortable and completely happy being photographed on the best day of my life! More than I could imagine! Kyler was our photographer for our July 2018 wedding, and we could not have been more pleased! Very creative photographer. The quality of his photos are stunning (even under low lighting) and very detail oriented. The poses he suggested were nice and "post-worthy". He's very easy to work with, takes care of everything (very instructive), and very accommodating. There was never any moments of frustration, only fun and laughter. Thank you for documenting our important day. We would definitely come back for future photo engagements.

We met Kyler a few years ago when we hired Kai Photo for our wedding in 2015. We loved his work and were very pleased with the photos that came out. Fast forward 3 years later, we decided to do a family photoshoot/maternity mini session with him, before the arrival of baby #2. We would’ve asked him to do our maternity photos for baby #1 in 2016, but we ended up going with a photographer on Kauai while we were on our babymoon there. Kyler is very easygoing and gave us his honest recommendations on what he thought would be best for our photoshoot. He recommended several spots and went with a beautiful location on the east side of the island. He had suggestions on different poses for us that captured different parts of the landscape, which I really liked. He was also very good with our super active almost 2 year old boy, who was uncooperative for most of the session. (Kyler has two little daughters himself so he knows how it is to work with the kiddos/toddlers). It is usually a struggle for us to even get a smile out of our son for photos, and I’m surprised Kyler was able to capture several shots of him smiling for the camera. He also was very patient with our son and receptive to his needs, such as giving him time to explore his surroundings or suggesting he take a snack break, etc. Lastly, I like that Kyler is attentive to details so if my hair wasn’t in the right spot or the flower in my hair wasn’t showing, he would have me fix/adjust it. We are soooo happy with the photos that came out for this photoshoot and will definitely use Kai Photo again in the future!

We LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! our wedding photos! Kai-Photo's did a fantastic job! My husband and I liked the fact that they do candid shots! Kyler was our photographer and he did such a great job with capturing the moments! We got married on September 1st and I can't stop looking at our photos. Kyler also was our photographer for our Engagement photos. Again, job well done! We would highly recommend Kai-Photos! Answers email efficiently! Provides helpful tips. We did not know what we were doing for our engagement photos (poses, etc) and Kyler was very patient and made us feel at ease and comfortable. Kyler shot a honeymoon photoshoot for us when we visited Oahu last week. He was so great, shooting more pictures than expected and had them ready less than a week later. We did sunset pictures and they turned out so beautiful! Highly recommend!!

Where do I even start?! Kyler was the epitome of professionalism, thoughtfulness, and transparency. We had a medium sized destination wedding in May that was relatively low frills, but the one thing we wanted to invest in was the photography. We knew the pictures would be the one part of our wedding that would live on forever and help us remember our special day. I considered quite a few photographers before our wedding, but I found myself coming back to Kyler's photos again and again. I was really drawn to his aesthetic, his use of light and nature, and his ability to capture the beauty of both landscape and candid emotion. When we first contacted him, he was incredibly prompt in his reply, usually getting back to us within hours. When he wasn't able to response as quickly, we would let us an expected timeframe to hear from him. We really appreciated having clear expectations from him in this regard. We were able to take a trip to O'ahu before our wedding and had the opportunity to meet Kyler in person. He was incredibly prepared and detail-oriented: he followed up to confirm our meeting beforehand, sent us directions, along with a pin of his exact location where he would be waiting for us, and left us his phone number if we had trouble finding him. When we met him, he not only had several photo albums for us, he also started sketching out a timeline for the photography (and for our wedding!) with different pricing scenarios. At that point, we ourselves had JUST started thinking about the event timeline (we didn't have a professional coordinator), so this was incredibly helpful and above and beyond our expectations. And we hadn't even signed a contract yet! When we finally did officially hire Kai Photo, Kyler was very accommodating, including amendments to the model release clause that would respect our privacy. He continue to be just as helpful up until the day of our wedding - giving suggestions for the shot list, discussing an unplugged wedding so ceremony pictures are as unobstructed as possible, helping us think through the timing and location of photos. He also solicited our thoughts as well about what pictures we wanted. I was particularly comforted by the fact that Kyler had shot where we were having our ceremony. It was really important to me that our photographer was familiar with our site, so they knew where the best lighting, angles, photo opts, etc were - and Kyler definitely came through in this regard. In fact, he had even worked with the event manager at our site and helped us make sure we had enough time to get to our ceremony after our first look pictures! We had talked over the phone a few times the week of the wedding, and when the big day came, Kyler was early to the site for our first look and was ready to get to work. He had ideas and gave us direction for poses, which we appreciated, without it being too awkward, while also giving us space to be ourselves. During the ceremony, he was well positioned and unobtrusive, so we could really be present. He moved quickly through our shot list and was VERY patient with our friends and families assembling themselves for the photos. However, the candids during and after the ceremony are where his work really shined! He was able to capture such authentic emotions and moments at angles we didn't think were even photographed! To us, this was the real value of Kai Photo, and for this, we will forever be grateful for hiring Kyler.

I found Kai-Photo Hawaii online. Kyler took over from there, being very responsive to all my inquiries. It was a process that took several days, as we were traveling for over a month and only had internet connection in the evenings at our hotels. Kyler was able to answer all of our questions and we signed a contract and paid on-line. Our son and his bride married on the mainland, but came back to Hawaii for a dinner party we hosted at Vino. Kyler agreed to an additional photo session at the beach beforehand and took "formal" group photos of the families prior to the party. He then took mostly candid photos during the dinner, as well as photos with the bride and groom with each table of guests. Kyler was on time and was a true professional. We all LOVE the photos! The beach pictures are stunning, as are the family ones. And the photos taken during the dinner are wonderful memories of the tables, food, and guests that were there, and they will be cherished forever.

Kyler and his crew were excellent to work with. They are very prompt and professional in all of their communications. Their picture were absolutely beautiful. They did a great job capturing the lighting and making everything look amazing, in spite of the fact that it rained during the ceremony. I really enjoyed working with them. They finished processing our wedding photos and sent us an online gallery within two week of our wedding day. Awesome family portraits from our week long vacation to Hawaii! Had a great experience with Kyler. Especially since we were tourists, we were so glad to have someone who knows the area and recommend to us the perfect backdrop, which was also really family friendly for my three kids. Kai-Photo recently did my maternity photos. I wanted a location near the water and Kai offered many different beach/park options plus sent me a link to different sample photos at those locations. The morning of the shoot was rainy and they were so nice about giving me options to reschedule if I wanted to (I ended up not canceling). My photographer, Kyler was very professional, easy to work with, friendly and helpful in creating poses with the props we brought. He took our ideas (some of which were a little weird) and made it look great. We felt at ease and had a lot of fun. Although photos usually take 2-3 weeks to process, Kyler sent it to us quicker! Overall, I would highly recommend Kai-Photo because they were easy to work with, were professional as well as friendly, quick with communication/responses, never made me feel stupid when I asked questions or wanted a certain type of pose, and the photos were BEAUTIFUL! It was a pleasure to work with Kyler and Grace for our wedding photography! We mostly worked with Kyler (though exchanged some nice emails with Grace, too!). We initially chose Kai Photo for their 2-hour option for wedding photography. As the wedding got closer, they were super accommodating toward our request for additional time at the last minute. We ended up with 3.5 hours to cover the entire ceremony & reception. The ceremony was outdoors in the bright sun and the reception was in a room enclosed by french doors that create a lot of background light. The photography challenges were obvious when we saw our guests' photos who used their phones and personal cameras, but the photos taken by Kai Photo / Kyler were perfect and unaffected by these challenges. The turn-around for the photos were quick. I am so grateful that he was meticulous in positioning us so that we were centered or aligned perfectly for group photos. He also asked if my veil should be around my shoulders (which it was, but I kept forgetting about). We LOVE the photos and know that we chose the right photographer for our special day.

We booked both photo and filming service. The shooting experience was beyond description, totally out of our expectation. We met with two photographers on that day. They both were on time, polite and extremely professional. They captured the most natural moment of us. They were so knowledgeable that they knew the best timing and spot for shooting. We didn't need to pretend anything, just need to be ourselves in front of the camera. The finished film and photos were delivered on time. We planned our destination wedding in Oahu from Canada. One of the hotel recommendations for photographers was Kai Photo. Kyler was quick to respond, was upfront, and seemed very conscientious and honest, something that is very important when you're planning a destination wedding! With all the email correspondence, he was quick to respond, within minutes to hours and same day. He also gave some suggestions and recommendations in regards to group photos, and timelines (e.g. what might not work given time constraints), which was very helpful feedback, since we didn't have a wedding planner. On the day of the wedding, Kyler was on time and started right away. He made us feel very comfortable and at ease. He also organized the group shot after the wedding with ease (packing forty something guests in one picture is no small feat!). After the wedding, we received the photos on our 1 month anniversary, within the time he said the photos would be done (actually pretty early since we thought it would take more than one month). The photos are amazing, the lighting is perfect and some of the shots are very creative and the detail photographs are beautiful. Thanks Kai Photo you guys are great!

My fiancé and I recently did our engagement photo shoot with Kyler from Kai-Photo....and we had a very pleasant experience! We got his business card during a venue tour with The Wedding Cafe. Months later, when we decided to take engagement photos, we remembered Kai-Photo. Kyler is very responsive and replied to my initial email within hours. When we met him at the site to take our photos, he was very easy to talk to. My fiancé is shy in front of a camera; but with Kyler's direction during our shoot, he loosened up. Kai-Photo was my photographer for a destination wedding in Oahu recently. If there was anything important to me about a wedding, it was going to be the photography. After researching a number of photographers available on the island, I chose Kai-Photo for a few reasons. First, their photos are gorgeous. There are a lot of colors, the framing is artistic, but best of all, their use of LIGHT is amazing. It was apparent in their photos during research as well as during the shooting of the actual wedding that light was one of their most important components. They were always aware of which way the sun was, how shadows were impacting the photos, and how to orient and use their flash strategically. Second, they are transparent about their pricing. One of the most annoying things during wedding planning is the habit of vendors to hide their prices from a potential consumer. It never made sense to me because wouldn't you then be inundated with requests from people who might know right off the bat after one communication that they could not afford you? In any case, I loved how transparent they were and it made decision making a lot easier because then I only needed to worry about the last thing... Chemistry! I contacted Kai-Photo and got a response very quickly thereafter from Kyler. We chatted on the phone about what we were looking for and agreed on many things. He helped a lot with figuring out the schedule and timing when I was trying to finalize it with my coordinator, and overall worked really well with all the other vendors. He had a good balance of giving direction for poses and actions while also keeping it natural. Overall, working with Kai was amazing and I cannot wait to get the rest of our photos back. We have absolutely loved the snippets and sneak peeks he has given us so far.

When I got engaged, the first thing I wanted to make sure that we had was a photographer to help us create beautiful memories of our special day. After looking at many vendors, my (now) husband and I chose Kai-Photo Hawaii. What attracted us to contacting them was the quality of photos that they had in their flyer that we first saw. We also go to look at their website and their portfolios. We loved how they photographed each couple and highlighted what made that couple special on their day. We got to do a consultation where we got to see their studio and the albums and prints that they had and offered both ala carte and in packages. We were also able to see wedding albums with our venue that we chose and they were beautiful!! We knew right away we wanted them to be our photographers for our wedding! We had more confidence with our choice as our wedding planner, florist, and videographer recommended them AND were excited to know that we hired them for our wedding! Knowing that they are all friends too outside of the "wedding vendor" world made us feel comfortable knowing that they would all got along and knew how to work with each other. Kyler and Grace are SUPER efficient in their email correspondence, which was perfect for me and my busy schedule! They were very detailed in the sense of making a timeline so that everything would run smoothly and so that they can get the shots that they needed and the ones that I requested as well. On the day of our wedding, Kyler and his assistant went right to work with taking pictures of everything that we asked on top of the default pictures. They were also super patient while taking pictures of our family members who were sometimes not the easiest to photograph. Their calmness helped me stay clam, even when there were a few flaws that was out of everyone's control. We are super grateful that we got to hire Kai-Photo Hawaii for our wedding day! Kai Photo and his team have always been a pleasure to work with. I have been referring all my friends and family to have Kyler and his team be apart of their special day, so with that being said when it was finally my turn I was sooo excited to have Kyler and his team to be apart of my day. His team made sure to capture all my family photos and table photos throughout the wedding night and I never once felt like his team was in the way. After the wedding I received a email from Kyler with sneak peak photos from our wedding and was blown away how amazing they turned out. The details from the cathedral and the flexibility of stopping at a destination so we could allow our dog to be in one of the pictures. We got Married on July 9th and within a month all 700 pictures from Kai Photo had been edited and mailed to be on USB. I wish I could give Kai Photo and his team more than a 5 start rating for the quick turn over and we couldn't be any happier with all of our pictures!

I got married at the Moli'i Gardens in May. Planning a destination wedding is very difficult. Especially if most of the vendors in Oahu take forever to respond. But that wasn't the case for Kai-Photo. Grace and Kyler responded right away and even managed to create a timeline for me. Aaron and Mako were wonderful photographers! They took fantastic shots and even managed to get the kids to hold still for photos! All the photos turned out fantastic! As a local girl born and raised on O'ahu but living in Colorado, it can be difficult to plan a wedding from a distance. Luckily my mom was there to help coordinate with the various vendors like Kai Photo. Kyler and his team of photographers are very professional, efficient, organized, friendly, supportive and helpful. My husband and I did not have a big wedding 14 years ago when we got married. So when we decided it was time for a vow renewal, we had a lot already planned in our minds (at least I did :-)). From the start Grace and Kyler were both quick to respond to emails and answered all of our questions. They were more than willing to accommodate an additional sunset photo session with a 2.5 hour delay after the ceremony. They are professional, kind, and personable. Simply awesome. Kyler was fun to work with and did an amazing job. We only had 90 minutes of coverage as part of our destination package, but he got everything we wanted and much more thanks to his wonderful suggestions. We received preview photos within a week of our wedding, which was such a pleasant surprise. We looked through many photographers for our destination wedding and chose Kai because we liked the quality of their work. We are so glad we chose them!

We did our engagement and wedding photos with them and they came out so nice. I did have some issues with the main photographer with the timeline of the whole wedding but we were able to do everything that we wanted to have done. He kept saying that we either had to see eachother before the wedding (which we didnt want to do because we wanted to be traditional) or to move our reception to a later time (and we couldn't do that because we were already eating late). I would recomend them to people who want great pictures done, but who are paitent with dealing with someone who wants to spend a LOT of time taking pictures.

We just got to see our pictures online and LOVE it!! Some things didn't go as planned for our wedding but Kyler was good about being flexible and working around any requests we threw in as the night progressed...and the pictures turned out just how I wanted it to be. Both my husband and I love his work!
