My family and I just returned from an incredible weekend getaway at the kalahari resort, and we can't wait to go back! This resort truly has something for everyone.
The indoor water park was an absolute blast for our kids (and let's be honest,...
us adults too!). The variety of slides, wave pool, and lazy river kept them entertained for hours. We were impressed by the cleanliness and safety of the water park area, and the staff were friendly and attentive.
Our room was spacious and well-appointed, with comfortable beds and a clean, modern bathroom. The staff throughout the resort were friendly and accommodating, from check-in to checkout. Would we return? Absolutely!

My family spent 2 nights here recently on a whim when other plans fell through, and we had a great vacation! The facilities indoors and out are beautiful, the room was clean and way nicer than we expected. Plenty of food options and shopping in...
case you forgot to pack something.
The arcade was lots of fun and kept us occupied for a couple of hours. I appreciated seeing workers actively cleaning games, which made me feel better with a small child touching everything.
The indoor Waterpark was huge, with plenty of options for all ages. I appreciated the multiple areas for little kids. Many places often only have one small designated area for toddlers/preschoolers, but Kalahari has several areas with many types of slides. The lifeguards were all very attentive and quick to act. We had no issues with safety because the lifeguards do not let bad behavior or lack of proper safety measures slide. Bravo!
We are already looking forward to coming back as soon as we can!

We came from Shreveport to come here. This is the best indoor water park we've been to hands down. We came on a Wednesday-Friday. The timing couldn't have been more perfect. Wednesday we were able to ride every slide we wanted at least 2 times ...
no wait. We went on our favorite one 5 times in one day. Thursday was a little more people but not too many to where it was crowded we still were able to ride slides quickly with little to no wait. Mine are 8 & 9 but there were so many options for younger kids I was very impressed. 10/10 recommend coming here with your little ones

So impressed with this place. There's so much to do! You definitely need more than one day to do everything. They offer a variety of activities for all ages. They have an indoor and outdoor Waterpark. They have a huge area for toddlers. The...
y have bowling, laser tag, an arcade, a lazy river, a wave pool, hot tub, an area for adults only and so much more. Service was great. Pizza, fries, and burgers were all great tasting. There's plenty of self parking but they also offer valet. Very family friendly environment and disability friendly. They offer day passes for anyone not wanting to stay. The cost is very reasonable when you consider all that is offered.

Overall, the experience at Kalahari was underwhelming and disappointing. The indoor water park water was cold, so cold my kids lips were purple and flat out refused to go back in the water. We would’ve tried the outdoor water park to see if the...
ir water was warm, but since school had started, Kalahari was short staffed and 2 out of the 3 days we stayed, the outdoor water park was closed. The Saturday the outdoor water park was open, it was only open for 5 hours. We never got a warning about this when e bought our tickets nor when we arrived.
The resort food was tasteless and extremely expensive. We paid 50$ for one pizza at the indoor water park, and it was tasteless. I have attached a picture here.
I could smell the carpet in the rooms. The whole hallways reeked of wet sweaty feet.
The pros were the Tom Foolery package. The kids had fun at the arcades and small roller coasters. They had fun at the zip line as well. There was no noise past late hours and we all slept well.
My overall impression is that I will not be going back, and I will not recommend it to anyone moving forward. I give this place 2.5/5 stars.
