K&A Photo and Video

Ken & Ashley with K&A Photo and Video provided two beautiful films of our fall wedding (5 min cinematic, 70 min highlight). This team was good at remaining professional throughout our wedding day, putting together a perfect cinematic film without our wanting any changes, and demonstrated their understanding of our feedback in each of the three modified versions of the 70 min video provided to us. In the end, my husband and I are very pleased with what this team has given us and they did an amazing job! For brides reading this, don't let this long review hold you back if you are considering this team for your videography! They definitely provided an excellent product and they have my respect and full recommendation. Here are some things I hope this team improves with your experience so you don't feel as stressed or are questioning whether this is a normal client experience for somebody who has never requested videography in their life: - Communication: Emails sent to them were often not acknowledged for several weeks until after I reached out to them via Facebook messenger. This wasn't a one-off occurrence. It happened 3 times, maybe 4. - Contract: Suggest clarifying within the contract if both videos or just one (if more than one is being created) will be provided by the agreed timeline where it states "shall provide (name) with video samples of the final video within 60 days". I reached out to this team on day 53 to see if we were on track for delivery, and had received only the 5 min cinematic film at the 60 day mark. I received the 70 min highlight film by day 90 after three versions of the film were provided due to requested changes. - Consultations: The package I selected included pre- and post-wedding consultations which I did not formally receive. Pre-wedding was the initial phone call interviewing the vendor and agreeing to hire them. We were never sent a questionnaire on video must-haves which could have been helpful or reassuring to the bride. The questionnaire could have included whether we would have speeches during the reception and if we were interested in having anybody mic'd up so that it could be heard more clearly on video. For post-wedding, I was never contacted to see what my expectations or wishes were for either video. What if I wanted a different song? Thankfully the song they selected did not need changing but it could have mattered to somebody. - Expectations: Each time I received the link for the video transfer to download the video, I never received a separate email explaining the intentions of that video, what changes were made or couldn't be made (if requested), or something as simple as "we sent you X sample, let us know what you think!". It was a blind delivery each time. The first film sent for the 50-70 min product was a 39 min video. I expected it to be the final video product considering how amazing the cinematic one came out with no modifications needed, but this missed the mark and we were disappointed. Had we received an email explaining that it is a sample, not a final, and that our feedback was welcome, we would have felt more at ease.

This review is WAY overdue. We had our wedding reception in December 2021 and I decided two months before the reception that I wanted a videographer to record all of the important parts (ie, speeches, dances, etc). I was looking for something very affordable. I'm so glad that K&A were available! Kenny was very responsive. Kenny and Ashley were both present for the reception. They did a great job staying "out of the way" for a lot of the wedding day crew while still getting great shots. I received the highlight reel (3 minutes) and a full highlight reel (1 hour) about 2 months later, which I think is a reasonable timeframe considering the editing that needs to be done. I have recommended K&A to several other brides!

Our videographer was great and we are so excited to see the final product!! He was able to capture all of our special moments from getting ready details to the first look to the ceremony and the party at the reception. We are so excited to have such a special keepsake of the best day with everyone we love!!

Kenny is nothing short of amazing. His communication during the planning process and then after was excellent. He delivered us our video well within the contract timeframe and we couldn’t be happier with how our wedding teaser and full video turned out. We cannot recommend him enough! Kenny, thank you!!

K&A is amazing to work with! They are very responsive and helpful with any questions you may have. They customized a package that fit our needs, and our wedding video turned out great! They managed to capture all our special moments, and our favorite part was the guest comments. I would definitely recommend they to any couple, and look forward to watching our video over the years to come!

Okay so where do I begin? Kenny and Ashley were amazing from start to finish!! From the initial consult to the final wedding video, everything was all that and then some! The quality of their work is incredible. They didn’t miss a beat during our wedding day. All of the memories we wanted were captured beautifully but the best part was all the memories caught in camera we didn’t anticipate like my in-laws slow dancing or my friends and family having the time of their lives. I am literally still reveling in my video day thanks to Kenny and Ashley! 10/10 would do it again.

Amazing Team Kenny did an amazing job capturing our special day. Leading up to the event he worked closely with me and my wife determining key aspects we surely wanted to capture. He took our wants and his expertise and the end result was truly way more than we could’ve ever imagined. Every time I see one of my Facebook friends they comment on how amazing my wedding video was. Overall and amazing experience and would recommend him for wedding videography.
