My day-of-wedding coordinator Erica went above and beyond to help me organize my wedding and make sure everything ran smoothly. She was truly a professional, and she spent a lot of time answering my many questions and providing wonderful resources. She was very responsive throughout the whole process, creating a portal that allowed for constant email communication. On the day of the wedding, she did a great job putting the finishing decorative touches at the venue and keeping us all on track with the timeline. Also, when a surprise issue arose with a vendor at the end of the reception, she was quick to take charge so I wouldn't have to worry. I was so impressed, and I highly recommend her for your wedding coordinator.

We rented our audio guestbook from Erica at K & L Events. It was a seamless experience! She was very quick to respond from the start and transitioned to communicating with our planner as the date drew closer. The guestbook phone was cute and had great signage included with it. Erica provided both drop-off and pick-up for the phone which was amazing. We now have audio zip files of our individual messages as well as a physical thumbdrive. What an amazing memory we are so excited to share for years to come with our family and friends. Highly recommend working with K & L!

Erica was the first vendor I hired for my wedding. From day 1 she was a life-saver. She was super communicative and responsive to emails and she provided a wonderful vendor referral list. Leading up to the wedding, she was fantastic with setting up the rehearsal and final details. She decorated the rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception beautifully. She also helped flip the ceremony & reception decor and handled the clean up. I used K&L for both partial planning and day of coordination. She has a fabulous collection of rentals and we also utilized her photo booth, which was a hit at the reception. She is also extremely reasonable with price. I cannot recommend her and her team enough.

It was so reassuring to have her on our team. What an honor to be her very last clients! Erica was such a big help with starting the whole process, getting rentals in line, and with our photobooth the day of. Even though there was a small hiccup, she was incredibly accommodating and flexible. We appreciate their professionalism, work ethic, and kind personalities. We worked with Jillian from K&L Events and it was the best decision we made in planning our wedding. We knew Jillian would be worth the money after our first meeting simply by how supportive she was about the work we had already done in our planning. She was responsive, knowledgeable, and thorough. She met with us in person during the venue meetings and helped advocate for us with the venue and venue coordinator. Our wedding day was flawless thanks to Jillian who helped set up, keep the schedule, check in with us, and organize the clean up at the end of the night. Even my parents were raving about her afterwards. They were so impressed with her professionalism and how easy she made everything for them. I would recommend Jillian to everyone!

Absolutely blown away by our experience with Jillian from K&L! We knew she's be a massive help on wedding day, but she went above and beyond leading up to our wedding to answer any questions we had and bounce ideas off of. She is so organized and fun to work with! Our day went so smoothly and she's who we have to thank for that -- we didn't have to worry about answering any questions day-of, coordinating anything with vendors or being concerned with anything going wrong. K&L Events was hands-down the best investment we made in our wedding. We wanted to make sure we could actually enjoy our wedding day and didn't have to play host or ask any of family members to do that. Story went above and beyond in making sure every detail of the wedding was perfectly executed. For less than the average price of a day-of coordinator, we got essentially a full wedding planner. Story's expertise in Washington wedding vendors, her knowledge of our specific venue, her floor plan creation capabilities, her attention to detail, etc. She went above and beyond. In areas where we had no ideas, Story was able to help us create the perfect vision. Story also handled communication with all of our vendors prior to the the wedding day and worked with everyone to make it flawless. K&L is the first person we'd hire again if we were to do this wedding all over again. 1000000/10 recommend. If you're thinking of hiring a day-of coordinator, stop thinking and just hire K&L!

Alyssa was amazing!! There are not enough words to describe how much we loved working with Erica. Our wedding was a sort of destination wedding since we were living out of state while doing all the planning. Erica was able to provide local recommendations, provide relevant information about the area, and eased all our worries. I wanted to be fully hands on in the planning, and Erica was amazingly helpful in answering my many emails and reviewing all my plans to provide feedback. On the day of the wedding, she made sure both our locations were set up exactly how I had imagined them. She also managed any and every hiccup so well that I didn't even know anything had gone awry until hours after the reception had ended. Erica and her entire team are kind, considerate, and amazingly professional. If you are getting married anywhere near Seattle, K&L Events is the absolute best choice you can make in a planner/coordinator.

Erica (owner) and Story (day-of coordinator) were a dream to work with. I find it difficult to trust others to execute my vision, but from the get-go I could tell Story would handle everything perfectly. And handle perfectly she did. On the wedding day, I did my hair and makeup in peace and when I finally got to see what she had done with the venue, I almost cried tears of joy. Everything was laid out so beautifully. (K&L also has a sizeable and tasteful rental inventory!) We proceeded with the day with no hiccups whatsoever. There was not a moment where I thought "I need help!" because Story had already thought ahead. We kept to the timeline but never once did I feel rushed from one event to the next. In fact, thanks to her, I got to enjoy each moment in peace. Seriously, look no further for wedding day coordination.

Story our wedding planner was a great investment for our son wedding in August 2023. She took care of all the details and this day would not have been special without her perfection to every detail. Erica was EXACTLY what we had hoped a day of coordinator would be for our wedding day! We were originally skeptical about the added cost of a day-of coordinator, but I can now say with confidence that hiring Erica was not only completely necessary, but a relief and enhancement to our wedding day. Erica helped our special vision come to life with consultation leading up to the day, and set up/coordination with our vendors on the day of. She enabled me, my fiancé, and our family members to enjoy our day together rather than focusing on behind-the-scenes logistics. We had several logistics go wrong leading up to our wedding (e.g. caterer didn’t bring the dish and flatware day of 😅), and Story was there to save the day. If you are on the fence about booking a wedding coordinator, I’m here to tell you to DO IT!! I can confidently say our wedding would not have been the same without Erica. First off, she was extremely helpful throughout the entire planning process. She was always willing and able to answer questions we had, hop on phone calls, and offer her honest opinion. Additionally, I can’t express enough how important she was on the day of our wedding. She made sure everything ran smooth, communicated with vendors, and made sure our vision came to life. What a phenomenal experience we had with Lindsay! She was much more than a day of coordinator. She was attentive and understood our vision. Lindsay made sure we were taken care of every step of the way. When she says she can and will do it all, she can and does do it all! Lindsay literally took care of EVERYTHING on our big day and it was incredible all thanks to her. She made sure we ate and drank all night, made sure decor and vendors were in order and made sure our guests were taken care of. She helped us with clean up and made sure everything was good to go before departing at the end of the night. Truly cannot rave enough about her OUTSTANDING skills and attentiveness. Where to begin…! Alyssa was absolutely incredible to work with. Extremely detail oriented, organized, and an all around fun person to have with us through the wedding planning process and for our big day! Alyssa went above and beyond to make sure we had everything the way we had imagined, and helped us to imagine things (and organize!) in what we weren’t thinking about - this was incredibly helpful and key for an anxious bride!! On the day of, anxious bride forgot to plan ahead for a couple things and I didn’t even know if there was a hiccup. Alyssa went above and beyond for us as a day of coordinator! We really enjoyed her fun and calming presence which bloomed into a friendship. She worked with us on all the big and little details and executed our vision perfectly. Story was such an amazing Day of Coordinator! She guided us through the whole day with confidence and poise. I am a caterer so I have a hard time trusting that others will do things the way I want. With Story, I just gave her some general guidelines and the decor and she simply did it honestly better than I would have. If I could give Story more than 5 stars I would. She exceeded our expectations as our day of coordinator. From the very beginning. The communication was amazing! We only requested day of coordinator and still felt like we got more with how much she took care of things. There was things that went wrong at our wedding such as we didn’t rent enough linens and our easels weren’t holding our signs and probably more that we don’t know about! Story took any problems and found solutions for them in what seemed like seconds! I am completely spacing on her assistants name but the two of them worked flawlessly to make sure our decor was what we wanted and how we wanted it!

We decided to make a backyard wedding happen July 2023 with close friends and family. Lindsay was our DOC. I don’t know what we would have done without her. Not only was she super helpful leading up to our big day on 6/3/23, she was amazing day of! We worked with Alyssa for our wedding and hands down cannot recommend enough. She was incredible from our first phone call to every detail. She is kind, she listens and she helped my vision come to life. It felt like we had a friend by us the entire time! She had great ideas and even though I only paid for day of coordination, the support leading up to the day was unmatched. I literally couldn't have had the day go as well as it did without her. Her timing, calmness and ease were just what you want around you on your wedding day. I gave her a lot of flexibility on the decor and she knocked it out of the park. Story was our day of coordinator and was great! She was always punctual and personable while helping the big day go so smooth. Story handled every situation amazingly including us making a last minute change in the seating chart display and needing table numbers day of after plan a didn’t work out. The best thing about having her there is that we have some family members with very strong…. personalities, that were very vocal regarding many aspects of the wedding at rehearsal and day of, Story handled it professionally and made sure that what we as the couple wanted was what we ended up with. A shout out to K&L as a business is that they offer any rentals you could possibly need, we used them for a Photo Booth which was a huge hit with everyone and also an audio guestbook so that we can hear people’s messages to us. Also the process from the reaching out to them to the day of was top notch guest service. I would recommend them to anyone for an event!

I had the pleasure of working with Erica for my wedding and I am SO glad she was our day of coordinator. From the very beginning, Erica exceeded my expectations. Erica was always available to answer any questions we had and provided invaluable guidance and advice throughout the planning process. On the day of the wedding, Erica was a true professional, ensuring that everything ran smoothly and efficiently. What really sets Erica apart is her attention to detail and her ability to think on her feet. There were a few unexpected hiccups on the day of the wedding, but Erica handled them all with grace and poise, and I never would have known anything was amiss if she hadn't told me afterwards. Our florist sent an assistant who was not only late, but was inadequate. Erica stepped in and set up and decorated pretty much the ENTIRE reception area while our "florist" was still setting up the arbor an hour before our wedding. I can't recommend Erica enough. She truly went above and beyond to make our wedding day the best it could possibly be, and I'm so grateful to have had her by our side throughout the process. If you're in need of a wedding coordinator, look no further - Erica is THE BEST.

Lindsay was a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process! We should have booked them earlier for guidance right away, but we purchased the Day Of Coordinator package about 3 months before the wedding. Thank goodness we did! They offer a shorter duration of coverage on the day of (10 hours) so it was more affordable. She went above and beyond prior to the wedding, the rehearsal, and during the day of. It was hot and humid that day, with multiple issues arising, and Lindsay was everywhere making sure things went as smoothly as possible. She was also so friendly and a joy to be around. Story was the absolute best vendor to work with and saved my sanity and my wedding on multiple occasions. She went out of her way to make sure everything was in order way before my big day and helped with so many problems that came up day of with other vendors and guests. I discovered I was pregnant the week before the wedding and she helped me keep it a secret from my guests which I could not thank her enough for. If anyone is having second thoughts about hiring a coordinator you will NOT regret working K&L Events.

I couldn't have asked for a more perfect day-of coordinator like Erica!!! During the planning phase, she was incredibly responsive to the questions I would have, and so willing to help and offer advice whenever I needed it. Her professionalism was incredible on the day of the wedding. The wedding day went so smooth that it felt like a dream come true, and I received so many compliments from guests on how enjoyable the wedding was. I would highly recommend Erica and her team to any bride-to-be out there because every bride deserves to feel reassured and calm on their big day, and Erica and her team will make sure you experience that!

Story Kempton-Fix gave us the gift of being able to fully enjoy our wedding day knowing all details were completely under control. As a corporate event manager, I did all of the planning for our wedding and knew I would need someone special to fully be able to pass over all of the details with confidence. Our wedding involved turning a working farm into a wedding venue for a day which included working with fourteen vendors and everything from furniture to portable toilets being brought in. There were a lot of details! When we did our site visit with Story, any hesitations were immediately gone. Story was quick to understand every detail of our wedding plan, asking all of the right questions, getting clarity where needed, and giving suggestions to make everything flow as smoothly as possible. On the day of the wedding, I had zero concerns that she would execute the wedding plan as intended. I was completely able to relax knowing she was in charge. We were both so impressed with how she managed the day and did so with ease. I highly recommend having Story be your day-of coordinator. She helped make our dream wedding possible!

We hired Erica as our day of coordinator, however she went above and beyond simply day of coordination as she helped throughout the planning process with vendor referrals, decor guidance, general advice regarding timeline, etc. On our wedding day, everything ran smoothly. Erica set up decor according to our layout, ensured that the timeline was followed (we never had to worry about what comes next or things getting done as Erica made everything happen seamlessly), and was a HUGE help cleaning up at the end of the night (taking down all decor, dividing rental items and personal decor items and then loading the assigned rental and decor items into each of our parents cars, and putting our personal items in our town car when it arrived. Our day was stress free and the way we imaged thanks to Erica. I cannot recommend her enough!
