I don’t typically leave reviews so the fact that I felt compelled to leave one for this company says a lot. I am not your typical Type A bride that HAS to be involved with everything in fact, I would describe myself as pretty laid back however, the false promises this company led me to believe has left me disappointed to say the least. To start, this company is TERRIBLE with communication. Before and after our big day it was almost impossible to get in touch with someone over the phone. Whenever I called I get sent to a message center that clearly has no direct affiliation with them, I am told someone will call me back but no one ever does. Instead, I get a text message hours asking for clarification on my issue. I feel like if a company is to be offering services there should at least be someone available during business hours to speak directly to. Customer service is not a priority! To any bride out there, please read your contracts thoroughly! This company provides photo and video packages that seem nice and convenient but, the package that was recommended to us did not even cover the entirety of the ceremony and reception. If it had not been for our photographer catching this then we would’ve have 2 hours of our reception undocumented. This also meant that we had to come out of pocket for the additional two hours for photography day of. This company hires contracted photographers and videographers who you may or may not be able to talk to before your big day. Again, we got lucky that our photographer also noticed how shady they were moving and took additional steps to ensure we at least got pictures that we liked. The company will also have the videographers and photographers send them all of their footage to edit in house. This means that the artist and your vision is most likely not going to come to life due to the fact that the artists creativity is completely taken away from them during the editing process. This really became an issue when I made my “must have” pictures list. Again, I am not a Type A bride so I didn’t think I would have to make sure that the company included pictures with my parents and family but apparently you need to spell out every single detail for them. They “assigned” us a total of 3 different videographers to which none of them responded to my emails or calls so I honestly didn’t even know who to expect the day of. Lastly, the video itself is not at all what we expected. We did get a pretty nice edited 7 min long video that to me looks and feels like a social media highlight video. We DID NOT receive the full ceremony footage as well as all of the speeches start to finish during the reception like I requested. To say I’m unhappy is an understatement. Every couple loves looking back on their wedding video each year and what we were given feels like the half-ass version of that. I have spent almost 3 months trying to get on the phone with someone to rectify this but they seem to be avoiding me. I am almost positive this isn’t their first rodeo like this because in a year and half that we booked with them, they have conveniently rebranded their name twice. I would stay FAR away from Kapturly, Selorra or any other affiliation because they clearly shouldn’t be working in the wedding industry. I wish I could seek legal action or get some sort of compensation back so I will be looking into that moving forward. Trust me there are better options, sometimes going to 1 place for all isn’t worth it!

Kapturly did not disappoint. This company is organized and helped me find the best workers to complete photography and videography services. They were pleasant, professional, and communicated throughout. I’m satisfied.

I paid for 5 hours of photography and 5 hours of videography. The photographer was amazing but the videographer did not show up. The videographer that did not show up was Riane Human despite being assigned to the job.

PLEASE READ THE REVIEWS!!! My wedding is May 16, 2024 in North Carolina and I signed with them in August 2023. I had my photographer and videographer set up and even had my bridal portraits scheduled for April 19th, 2024 with the photographer, hair/makeup, and the venue. My photographer was MIA and I could not reach him. His phone number the company provided was disconnected, his website was taken down, he did not respond to emails, and he hasn't been on social media in over a year. I tried to call Kapturly when the photographer did not show up and I kept getting a text message from the company asking me to text them. Not at all helpful. I emailed people within the company who I had communicated with previously and I got no response from anyone. Finally 2 hours later, I get a call and they asked if I could reschedule rather than saying they would try to contact the photographer. I was then texted that I could get a refund for the shoot since I could not reschedule but they would not refund me for the travel fee for that day. I asked for a new photographer and again requested the refund for the travel fee as well. From there, anytime I asked for an update the text response I got was "I am personally working on this" or "let me talk with my manager" and I would never get any other response or update. I asked for a phone call, which they scheduled, and they did not call me until I text them saying they missed our phone call 45 minutes late. I asked for a full refund and that I did not want to use them at all anymore and was told that I could not get a refund because it was within 30 days of my wedding. THIS WAS NOT IN MY CONTRACT. After a week of back and forth without a new photographer, I found the CEO on LinkedIn, explained to him what happened and he finally agreed to give me my full refund after mentioning lawyers. The only reason I am not giving a 1-star review is because I told the CEO that I wouldn't if I was given my full refund. Luckily I have a wedding planner who found me a new photographer withing 6 HOURS (not a week), but I do not have a videographer anymore. Please please please speak with your planner if you have one before signing a contract with Kapturly - mine nor my new photographer were even familiar with them! I am just glad this happened before my wedding and not the day of!

After waiting over two months for our edits, despite the website saying within 30 days, we received dark grainy photos that had been run through AI photoshop that made us and our guests look like cartoon figures with disfigured faces. Extremely disappointed in the response from Kapturly. The editors feedback and the photos speak for themselves.

It looks like you are getting 5-8 hours of video, you are NOT, you are giving a photographer and video person a dinner and attendance at your amazing party. Thousands of pictures of the backs of people dancing in the dark. Nothing of the decor, guests, tables, they missed the cocktail hour, pianist, famous Leopold's Ice Cream cart. No memories for us of any of this. They did photo people using the photobooth (why?), and they made use of it too! They enjoyed a very expensive party on us and we have no memories. YOU DO NOT GET A VIDEO! YOU JUST PAY FOR SOMEONE TO BE THERE FOR 5-8 HOURS AT THE PARTY! You get a 6-minute social media video. That's it. At my daughter's wedding, they came early, and photo'd the venue lobby before anything was setup, then left, and arrived late to the wedding. They only photo and video garbage, no decor, no pictures of your guests who traveled some 700 miles to attend, my husband and I didn't even get one picture with our daughter and son-in-law. Well, there is one photo, my sons-in-law boutonniere is in my face, that's it, not frameable, garbage. They did get an amazing dinner, used the photo booth, enjoyed ice cream (didn't think it was worth taking even one picture of the famous Leopold's ice cream cart out in front of the venue after the cake - thought that was there for them to enjoy - photo/video, no time, they were partying! Absolutely no memories of this 50k party. My kids did get some pics of them with trees in back, nothing of the beautiful venue. We could have gone to JP Penny with a forest seen behind, and they would have been better. STAY AWAY! Customer service is none, no way to contact them. Just their AI (artificial intelligence robot) Rose! Rose will hound you until the day you die to sign up! Other than that you will get no response. Our photographer and video person in the photo's, had a great time, and I have no memories of this 50k party. STAY AWAY FROM KAPTURLY! You will get nothing like what you see on their website on the most expensive, important day of your life!

We signed with them in June 2023. we were told that someone would reach out and get the process going we waited till august nothing reached out in september multiple times they said they were working on it but got nothing no videographer no photographers to choose from reached out again in October said they had NO videographers (even though we paid a deposit) can they supply just photographers after thinking it over because were loosing time we said yes in December. they'll said they'd give us a free engagement shoot with two photographers to choose from for the wedding set up the date for January they completely ghost us no contact nothing! After reaching out again multiple times Mid February we requested a full refund which they approved since they didn't do a thing. was told that we will receive the refund 1st week of march still ave not received anything they do not return texts, emails, or calls so now we will be going the legal route. We truly tried with them I even waited to write this review but how we were treat is ridiculous. This is not cheap and everyone works hard and don't deserve to be scammed. I loved my photos. They were so perfect and they captured every wonderful moment. ☺️ they also made us a video that was perfect as well. I loved how they organized everything into sections for my photos and also helped me in my wedding to capture the important moments because of my timeline 😁I felt completely comfortable as they photographed, and I usually feel awkward when someone I don’t know is taking pictures of me but they didn’t make it awkward at all and they helped us on what to do best 😊Thank you for my forever memories ❤️

Working with Kapturly was an absolute dream. From the very beginning, they were professional, attentive, and genuinely cared about capturing our special day in the most beautiful way possible. The end result was truly breathtaking - the editing and composition were top-notch, the music selection was perfect, and the overall vibe perfectly captured the emotions and magic of the day. We've watched our wedding video countless times and each time we are transported back to that incredible day. By far the WORST customer service and communication I have ever experienced. As soon as we put down our deposit, it was nearly impossible to get a hold of ANYONE for several days at a time. They arrange a "discovery shoot" that is supposed to be an opportunity to meet 2-3 photographers and then you select your favorite. On the day of our shoot, we only were able to contact ONE of the three. The second photographer had to reschedule at a different location and was late to the shoot, and the third never got back to us. Given the fair prices, I honestly went into this expecting mediocrity. This company truly cannot even meet that expectation. Overall, the entire experience was HORRIBLE and I could not even say the pictures turned out "okay." Save yourself the stress and just go with an independent photographer. The people who work for this company are solely in it for the sales and money - once you sign a contact they do not care whatsoever.

I would not recommend. I just had an event with another photographer and the experience was completely different. In my opinion the photographer was lazy, told me I needed to provide him food the day before the event. So many photos of guest were missing!

We found Kapturly through some Internet research before our wedding, and I am so thankful that we did. The whole team was kind and easy to work with from the very beginning. We love our video and the photos are great. Can't wait to print and hang them 🙂 Highly recommend

Loved my photographer hate the kapturly. its been a year and i still dont have my wedding photos an everytime i call them no one picks up an forget leaving a message they never call you back. im very unpleased about this and if they dont want to here from my Lawry then they need to call me.

Kapturly offers an amazing service really. Loved how easy the process was and communication was spot on. The staff on ground were unobtrusive, friendly, and fun. The photographer made sure we understood how lighting worked and their outcome was beyond what I expected. I 'm know to be camera-shy but wasn't the case on my wedding. I'd give them a 10/10.

These guys are just the best. I was skeptical at first, but when I saw that they were prompt and attentive, I knew we were in good hands. They did not disappoint us too. They did everything we asked for and even made our wedding more relaxed. We love all our photos and my little cousins cant stop gushing over our "perfect" wedding album. Got married on 10/14 . The photographers forgot much footage and had poor quality of pictures. People have their eyes closed, or chairs/ bathroom etc in background of pictures. The angles and etc is ackward not the best of us being shown or captured . They forgot about 10-11 pictures that you’d have for any wedding. We had them for 10 hours for $3,000. They only wish to refund us $150 because they feel they can find this footage or have us come back for a 2 hour family photo shoot 🙃 umm no . Our video had no audio on it and when re done they forgot the best man speech. It’s memories lost forever and not captured. Talked to the guys for 3 hours before wedding to map everything out yet day of wedding they seemed not sure of what to do. If you saw a picture with someone with eyes closed re take the picture 🤦‍♀️…Our videographer wasn’t too bad over all. Just photography was off.

Wedding 10/22/23. PLEASE BEWARE! HORRIBLE experience!!! The bride and groom photos we received were just plain terrible. Unflattering angles, telephone poles sticking out of my (bride's) head, barely any photos with both of our faces even visible in the shot. They looked like a child could've taken them. There was no thought put into the composition or focal point. The quality of the photos we received was completely different from Kapturly's entire online gallery. We got THREE decent photos of just us from the ENTIRE wedding. I received countless comments from professional photographers I personally know about this kind of "work" deserving a partial refund. I was trying to find ANY better bride and groom photos in the RAW files, but shockingly, there was nothing. 95% of all RAW files were photos of our guests dancing. Once again, from the ENTIRE wedding my husband and I have 3 decent photos of just us. THREE. The company has been unresponsive regarding a partial refund or any kind of compensation for the unprofessional experience. A few other bad experiences to note. I had asked the photographer weeks prior to the wedding to help me find an indoor location for the photoshoot, which he never did. The company also claimed the wedding video wouldn't be edited until the media form with preferences & music is filled out. And of course, the video was edited with random music before I even got a chance to fill out the form. It was later revised, but the editing just doesn't make any sense. They put an upbeat song over a very LONG slow motion clip of everyone dancing. They do that in every video, and sometimes it just doesn't make sense with the clip they're editing. Again, there was no thought or effort put in. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, if you don't want Kapturly to ruin your wedding day. I'm beyond disappointed.

Kapturly was incredible. Everyone was super professional from beginning to end. My wedding pictures and video far exceeded what I thought I would get in return. We can't stop showing them off haha. They are clean and not overly retouched. Thank you Kapturly!

Had the most amazing experience! The service was reasonably priced and made planning so much easier for my wife and I since photography and videography was covered in the package. The Kapturly team was highly communicative and supported us throughout the entire process even through vendor changes. Our wedding was captured beautifully from all angles all evening. I was very impressed with the punctuality, professionalism and ability for just two individuals to work so well together and be so respectful of everyone's names and pronouns. Queer wedding friendly which is very important! I highly recommend Kapturly. I am still in shock that this service was a random instagram ad that I nearly ignored but provided my wife with the most precious memories we will cherish forever. And then we get a trip voucher as well?? Can't wait to utilize that as well. Thank you Kapturly (and Thank you Frank and Vinny for woking with us and helping make our wedding day amazing!)

We had an amazing experience with Kapturely. The photographer and videographer were exceptional, there were some mishaps at our wedding with the DJ service and things weren’t going as planned, our photographer took things into her own hands and got things back on schedule with the DJ, she also brought my husband and I wine a couple times when things were getting stressful which was so kind of her!! We LOVE our photos and video. They captured the day perfectly and I don’t regret at all purchasing these services from Kapturely. I also think their prices are great. I’ve seen much more expensive packages elsewhere and I don’t think I could have gotten better photos and video. You can also pick little details like how many hours of photo and video separately which helps with cost and it can be specific for your needs. I 100% recommend Kapturely for your wedding day or other important events!!

We hired Kapturly as our wedding photographer after reviewing their website and portfolio. We were drawn to their lovely shots and how they beautifully captured the pure, raw emotions on the couples' faces. I knew we had made the right decision for our wedding when we met our artists (I love how they use that word) before the wedding. I knew things would go great and they did. The photographer was nothing short of amazing the entire day. We received our wedding album on the agreed-upon date, and it was wonderful. My husband can't get enough of it, and neither can I. As MOB, I agreed when my daughter found Kapturly, to contract with them for her wedding photos and videography in the spring of 2023 for her June 10th, 2023 wedding. We chose the package to fit our needs and I paid additional to have a USB drive with all images and video, raw and edited, to be included. 1 week before the wedding the assigned photographer backed out leaving us complete wrecks. In the last couple of days before the wedding a photographer was finally found to come and capture my daughters big day. The Photographer was super sweet and did a great job. However, Kapturly was more than a month late on getting us ANY images at all. It was only recently that we were able to access any of the photos and we still have not received the USB that I paid extra on. It is Oct. 8th and still no disc and they are in breach of contract. I paid over $3000 and am beyond disappointed and angry. I wish we had just went with a local photographer, it would have been much cheaper and I have every reason to believe we would have received all services that we paid for. I will never use Kapturly again and at this point I may end up having to file a lawsuit.

I love how the photographer blended the pictures with our venue and the guests we had. My spouse and I can't stop gushing over our pictures. I love them 🙏 ❤

Wedding 8/5/23 Please beware of this company!! I'm so upset at myself for letting them talk me into using their services for my wedding. They have been HORRIBLE from the beginning, I used them for my engagement photo shoot the photographer herself was wonderful, the weather conditions were rough but we were about to complete the shoot, the photographers don't do their own edits Kapturly does, my husband and I were in all black the rain drops showed up as white spots all over our clothes, I expressed on multiple occasions to Kapturly that my photos needed to be photo shopped to remove the white spots, I was told because I was using an android that's why the spots were there, I had to outsource the edits and low and behold they were able to remove the spots, I went back and forth with Kapturly until Kristen agreed to refund me for the engagement shoot, I requested to be fully refunded so I could go elsewhere because it was obvious that Kapturly couldn't handle the job, they refused they told me that they would come through and I wouldn't be disappointed, I had anxiety leading up to the day, Kapturly double booked 2 videographer for my wedding, Larry Sosa contacted me regarding info for my wedding day, I informed him that I had a team and he must've been booked by mistake, he then got very spicy with me, I asked him to stop messaging he continued, I told him that he was now harassing me, I reached out to Kapturly and told them to have him to stop messaging me, my husband eventually had a conversation with him and he threatened to come to my wedding to cause a scene UNBELIEVABLE!! I once again asked Kapturly for a full refund, and they refused, yet again saying that I won't be disappointed! WRONG WRONG WRONG, my video is HORRIBLE music was put over scenes that it should've have been, my Bridesmaids did a dance performance they edited it in slow motion and put music over it, they used our vows to create a voice over that they used over footage that didn't make sense, I could go on and on I ordered the drone but didn't have a single overhead ariel shot! My anxiety has been so bad, im so embarrassed to show my photos and videos. We had a lot of shots missing, PLEASE BEWARE!

Our pictures were absolutely beautiful! Going through them all has brought back all the emotions we had on the day, and that’s exactly what we wanted—happy tears!!

The photographer knew what we were looking for and had captured similar events, so it made the process much easier.

Kapturly made my day wonderful. The photographer and videographer were with us months before the wedding day becoming friends with us through the process. They captured my husband and my families perfectly!

My experience with this company has been a complete nightmare, and I'd advice anyone to steer clear from them unless you enjoy pouring your money down the drain. March 2022, I naively signed with Kapturly for a photography+videography package, under the impression that they would be able to assign professional wedding vendors that were capable of producing the kind of photos and videos they showed on social media. That could not be further from the truth. The first photographer they assigned to us had a sup-bar portfolio with tons of lighting and composition issues and a clearly amateur email address like johndoe1994@gmail.com, so I wasn't comfortable with moving forward with him and asked for someone else. The second photographer we got had a decent portfolio in fashion photography but almost none in wedding. I didn't want to keep demanding changes so I agreed to go with him. However, when we contacted the 2nd guy, he told us that Kapturly did not inform him that we needed to do the engagement photos in a different state from our wedding location, and that he would not be able to shoot our engagement pictures in the state we were in at the time. The lack of proper communication was starting to give me the ick about this company, but fine, I reached out to Kapturly again to let them know we need a separate photographer for the engagement. And here is when the nightmare really began. We went ahead and did the engagement shoot with the 3rd guy, and I kid you not, he brought a giant light on a tripod and legit spent at least half of the entire time adjusting his "lighting". It would have been fine if the photos turned out good, but no, they had the ugliest lighting I've ever seen, with harsh shadows and highlight that brought out all the oil on our face. He also appeared completely clueless the entire time, asking us what we wanted to shoot bc he literally had no idea what to shoot. After that shoot I was done with this company, so I told them I did not wish to move forward with the package and asked for a refund. They refused but offer to reduce our package down to just videography. The assigned videographer was actually the only person they gave us that had a good wedding portfolio, so I agreed to the change. Fast forward a year, we are now at 2 months before the wedding, so I reached out to the videographer again to confirm the final details. Guess what? SHE MOVED TO ANOTHER STATE 16 MONTHS AGO. She even told me she thought Kapturly would've assigned someone else to us by now. 16 months, Kapturly did not bother to inform me of this change, and had I not reached out to the videographer in advance, we would've been left with no videographer AT ALL. I felt like I was 100% done with them, so once again I asked for a refund. And once again, they refused and said they would find me someone else. So I waited a few more days, only for them to send us yet another guy with a half finished website and absolutely zero experience in wedding. At this point I was 150% done with Kapturly, but instead of responding to my request for a refund they just kept promising to find us someone with "real experience". And once again, when they sent us the last guy, he had a total of 7 seconds of wedding videography on his half finished website, and I am now 200% done with this absolute joke of a company. I am now taking legal action to get my money back. Even if I don't get it back, I just want to warn anyone reading this, DON'T. Just don't.

I recently had the pleasure of working with an exceptional wedding coordinator, and I cannot express enough how impressed I am with their services. My photographer Bia was wonderful in capturing our big day . My videographer that I paid for NEVER SHOWED , which was really upsetting. I didnt get a warning or ANYTHING beforehand , he just never showed up. They said I will be getting it refunded, but nothing can replace the fact that my wedding day to the love of my life wasn't captured.. that video would have meant the world to me . I doubt I will ever book through kapturly again, I recommend the same for you because I am hearing this isn't thew first time this happened ..

Kapturly responds to all of my emails very promptly and has ensure smooth communication and planning with the photographer and videographer. I had my engagement session with my photographer (Angelina Banar-Kislitsa) she was amazing, patient with Shane and I, great eye. She suggested the locations and really made it easy and enjoyable for us. The photos came out wonderfully! We cannot wait for our wedding!

As someone who has never hired a professional photogrpaher before, i was very relieved when I found Kapturely. They were offering a special that was very affordable, and they still delivered high quality service. Customer service was always a text away and I got great photos and video of my wedding very soon after. I would definitely use them again if I could.

We did both our Videography and photography through Kapturly. We were extremely nervous to do it this way and having it contracted due to nerves and the unknown. We had a fantastic experience though from start to even after the finish. We had wonderful and timely communication from Kapturly on updates and reminders. They reminded and sent great instructions on how to set up the live streaming which we added on. That was totally worth it while I forgot to stream the whole thing due to having so much going on those who could join said it was user friendly and a really clear stream. Our videographer was so much fun and so amazing at keeping our energy levels high throughout. Our photographer who originally picked our wedding up never responded to me or the company. Kapturly was on it for me though when I sent the concern they reached out no response I tried again no response and they got a new one and communicated the process throughout out to me. It all worked out the way it was suppose to our photographer ended up being amazing and slayed the game. Ur videographer got us a wedding gift of the Pixar Up theme from an art fair he attended prior. Talk about a gift to remember your videographer forever on top of the video. Our photographer was kind and professional and able to handle the chaos of everything smoothly. The videographer and photographer communicated great throughout the night as well. We got our images and video back within 3 weeks as well and I was expecting it to take 6-8 weeks. Overall we had an amazing experience with the company as a whole but more of the experience was made through the wonderful videographer and photographer from top to bottom. We had Najada Davis as our Videographer & Mariusz Mitkowski as our Photographer:)

Leading up to the event, I had little to no contact with my photographers. I had to reach out to them every time I wanted to talk or had any questions. They never asked what I was looking for or gave any advice/suggestions. As a photographer myself, I was very disappointed. I also went looking for portfolios so I could tell what kind of work they do. I was only able to find one for my second shooter. Neither my main photographer nor videographer had any work posted. During the “getting ready” portion, my second shooter Victoria was great. She was helping in every way possible to get set up and ready to go, but I feel that our running late and her helping reduced the amount of time she was taking pictures. Our main photographer stayed in the shadows, and hardly spoke unless it was to direct a photo, though he reused the same poses multiple times. Our photos came to us rather quickly (still waiting on video). These photos were not worth it. For an 8 hour wedding, we only received 500 photos, half of which have blinks, blurry, or bad exposure. We were missing some important photos like our grand exit and entrance. We only got half of the family photos we took, and the groom is blinking in most of the ones we got. The couple’s portraits of the Bride and Groom: either one of them is blinking, they’re looking away from the camera and you can’t see faces, or the exposure is wrong. EDIT: after leaving a poor review, I was contacted by the service team and they called me to figure out how to help fix the issue. It turns out that the photographers gave them more images than were shared with us. A lot of them were better than what we were originally given. Turns out there was no issue with the photographers, just the Editors. The photos they had chosen to send us were not carefully vetted. We were given the option to go through ALL of the photos and pick which ones we wanted for them to edit and send to us. Still waiting on the video.

During the planning process it was incredibly easy to contact the Kapturly team. I rarely spoke to the same person but everyone I spoke with was up to date in my profile. I was in contact with the video/photographer pretty reliably up until a week before. I was easily able to contact the videographer and he showed up on time but the week before the wedding my photographer was MIA and completely ghosted me the day of. We blew up his phone and neither us nor the company could get a hold of him. They hired another photographer last minute who was able to come but of course he didn’t have any of the inspo photos I had sent to the first guy and was kinda thinking on his feet. He got there as soon as he could which unfortunately was 45min late and we had no professional photos of the reception. After that the night went smoothly, the team was great to work with, though didn’t give a lot of direction and it was kinda up to me to get the shots and angles (again bc this poor guy was hired last second) they were great, friendly and fun! I contacted the company after the honeymoon and they were very kind and apologetic and refunded me for the ceremony and the hour missed when my videographer left early before the grand exit. Photos are beautiful!! Though I didn’t get back as many as I was expecting. The first video they sent I wasn’t very satisfied with and they redid it and it looks very nice and well done (although still not as much footage as I would expect from a 5 hour contract) All in all, I’m fairly satisfied with the experience. Could’ve been better, but for the price they offered and their flexibility I’m still content with my choice.

Can I give zero stars? I am so disappointed in my experience with this company and I write this with the expectation that this company is not going to try to reconcile with me for their transgressions. I booked them for my wedding this past January and I was really worried it was going to be a struggle with them and I was correct. I had a photographer no show to an appointment we created and then ghost me. I was assigned a videographer that never answered my calls/texts. They assigned a whole new team and they they did show up the my wedding, yay, but the photos were not what I was hoping for. I look really fat in a lot of the angles and most of the dancing photos are all really dark. I was told I would receive all the raw video and I never did so I had to pay the videographer to get the raw video. Why did I need that? The video Katpurely created was awful. I confirmed with them my song selection and the video does not use my song. It is just a photo collect and they put some song over the best man's speech and over the live music I had at my wedding. Understand if you book with them that you are booking an organization that matches you with photographers and videographer that are just anyone in the community. I am upset with my experience and now I have to spend a lot more money to fix their mistakes.

The team at KAPTURLY did an amazing job! I began working with them a year in advance for the wedding and our representatives were always available to keep us updated on what to do next. We went with the basic package, 6min and 5hrs photography. Our day-of team was amazing! Angela Smith was our photography and Steve Watson did video. Both were awesome to work with and helped us feel comfortable with the shoots. The final video came back 10 days after the wedding and another 10 for the photos. Overall, we're super pleased with everyone and how everything turned out!

Extremely disappointed in what we received. The video was pretty much the only good thing that came out of the whole experience. The photos we received were horrible. Our photographer was wonderful but they really did get dirty with what they sent us. There was literally a picture of beer on a table, and that was what they had decided was a good enough picture to use. I am so disappointed, I had such high expectations and I was let down. I would not recommend kapturly at all.

Even though I could not book the service with Kapturly, I will give a 5-star review because of the outstanding customer service, especially Mr. Dillon. They were flexible and accommodated my requirements for my quote. They are a highly diligent, and responsive team outside of business hours and weekends. When I declined the quote, they were kind and answered professionally. I booked another service. Unfortunately, I can't return the money for the deposit; otherwise, I will hire them. I quoted about 19 photographers, and their gallery was the best: great job and retouching job. I also like the style of the videos. Highly recommend it for its quality, price, and customer service. I wish only they could take 20% of the installments

My fiancé and I hired Kapturly as our engagement/wedding photographer/videographer, but experienced extreme unresponsiveness from the company's point-of-contact, despite multiple attempts to contact them over a period of six weeks. The company eventually apologized for their lack of communication and escalated our event to management, but we had already lost trust in the company and disputed the charge for services not rendered. As a result, we were unable to send our save-the-dates with engagement photos and found the experience to be a massive headache and extremely disappointing.

There just aren’t enough words to possibly describe how amazing our experience was with Kapturly. I can't lie we were hesitant at first because of how the concept and amazing price, but after working with the crew at Kapturly Dillon,Kristen and Marvin, they were all able to explain it and put our mind at ease. We had a destination wedding in Jamaica, and not only did our photographer's Sam and Monica meet our expectations they exceeded them, each and every photo that they both captured were breath taken, and the Videography was nothing short of amazing. It was a a beautiful representation of our love. The perfect angle, lighting and pure expertise and talent of our photographer's and photo/video editing from Kapturly was a 10/10. We went with Kapturly because we were looking for a well-priced package, and unfortunately things went south on our wedding day and with the video deliverables. If you want the short version: what you receive will not be like the work featured on their website, you will have no control over what your photos/videos look like (despite the company asking for Pinterest/inspiration boards), you will get assigned someone who they claim is trained, but in our experience, there is no way our videographer is vetted or trained. Our videographer caused so much undue stress on our wedding day, and despite calling and emailing to share my experience, the company has never responded or acknowledged what happened. Not to mention, our wedding video is an actual joke. Zero editing, just frames thrown together- the first 4 seconds of the video is the ugly WiFi sign at our venue (??), not even a basic title card that says our names, no vows, etc. It genuinely looks like they hired a high schooler to edit the video. The work you see on Kapturly's website is nowhere near the quality of work we received. I'm embarrassed to share the video and my husband is remaking it. Our videographer arrived to the venue and the first thing she says is that she cannot shoot our wedding because it was raining. She told my coordinator she refused to shoot the wedding. My husband had to stop getting ready and problem solve for her because she was so flustered by the rain. She also drove past the clearly marked parking lot and valet service and drove down into the venue's dinner meadow (which is very clearly an event space) and turned her car around in the grass, leaving muddy tracks on their lawn. The venue told me we'd likely not get our $900 deposit back because of the damage. It was so unprofessional and very upsetting. She also spread out three massive tripods, and large equipment cases all over the venue, such that her equipment is in many of our important photos (first dance photo, first look photos, family photos) that of course the company didn't edit out and we had to go behind them and edit out. Thankfully, she did stay and record the wedding and fulfill her obligation and was apologizing the whole time. Since Kapturly is a nationwide company, you are really rolling the dice on the contractor you will be paired with and Kapturly does nothing to aid in communication or hold accountability for their client's wishes (i.e. if your contractor doesn't follow your shot list and you don't get the shots you want, Kapturly is going to shrug their shoulders). You should be picky about who does your media because it's not like you get a second chance to walk down the isle. Shoutout to our photographer who grabbed an umbrella and faced the rain in order to shoot our special day.

10/10 highly recommend Kapturly! They were responsive and attentive the entire time. If we need adjustments they were on it! They also got our final edits to us in a very timely manner!

I hired TMEC, who was bought by Kapturly for my upcoming June wedding, back in August. My photographer cancelled and it was difficult to find another one we had liked, so Kapturly allowed us to downgrade to just keeping our videographer. I am hopeful and looking forward to the videography at our wedding!

Everything was amazing!

DO NOT BOOK THIS COMPANY!!! I gave them one star because I couldn’t give them zero stars! I hired this company to photograph my wedding and had the WORST EXPERIENCE! The photographer we selected from their roaster cancelled the morning of the wedding because Kapturly had failed to pay him for the passed few gigs he did for them. The company never reached out to us to tell us and just found someone to take are original photographs place. The guy, who was around 60 years old and was very clueless on wedding photography showed up with no info provided by the company just that they told him where to be and at one time. So we had to take 25 mins to walk this photographer through the shot list and timeline which is something as per contract you do a week in advance giving the photographer enough time to prepare. This man had 20 mins to ingest the info and he clearly wasn’t following as he just kept shaking his head. And surely we were right. But what are we going to do we couldn’t find a wedding photographer the day of the wedding so we had to pray he knew what he was doing. Following the wedding it took us almost two weeks of countless emails and calls to the company to finally get in touch with someone. NO ONE ever acknowledged the fact that the photographer cancelled and that they sent some random person we didn’t even know his photography style. When we finally spoke to a customer service rep and after much back and forth with him we were able to get a call with the operations manager Kristen Corry. She apologized and really just appeased us but she was able to send us the RAW photo files so we can see what he captured. Oh my goodness! I couldn’t stop crying at how awful they were. He cut my dress off in many photos, eyes closed, HE DIDNT GET ME WALKING DOWN THE ASILE!!!!!! And he missed so many basic shots a photographer gets like one with the flower girl and ring bearer — and many more. The composition, quality and angles were absolutely awful. He provided no direction in shots such as “stand up straight” “turn this way” so we are hunched over or posed awkwardly in photos. It was a nightmare. We can’t get these moments back!!! So, I asked for a refund from the company and they gave us the run around and literally laughed at us on a phone call when we said we would take legal action. I guess they think this experience was funny. We will be taking legal action but warning as many people as we can do this doesn’t happen to another couple as they plan their special day.
