My husband and I love that we can go and relive our wedding by going to their restaurant whenever we want too! <3

Everything was perfect for our LBI wedding, and Kate and Ally's was the driving force behind it all. Rachel was our maître de on the day of, and working with her was a dream. She was on top of every request, she made sure my husband and I always had a drink in our hand or food on our plates and took care of all our guests; needs. I would give Kate & ally's 10 stars if I could!

t tasting was such a pleasant experience and further solidified our choice to use them as a caterer. Our venue required them to feed 150 people using a kitchen only slightly bigger than my own, and they were able to deliver 150 hot, delicious and fast meals! Everyone was raving about the food and the service. The maitre d’ was so attentive and made sure that I was able to enjoy all my appetizers and dinner. They also worked alongside the other vendors to create a beautiful table. Overall, Kate and Ally is a well oiled machine that made my wedding day both delicious and relaxing!

We got countless compliments on both the food and the service at our wedding, with many people saying it was some of the best wedding food they've ever had! lyn and Jenn did an amazing job setting up all of the reception extras and linens that I had dropped off at the venue. We had a cocktail style reception with food stations and passed hors d'oeuvres. My expectations were surpassed on so many levels. Marilyn is great to work with and kept me updated on details as we got closer to the wedding day. I would definitely work with them again!

s their food incredible, but they attended to every possible detail so that they could facilitate a smooth ceremony and reception for us. They organized our rentals and worked closely with our venue, the Brant Beach Yacht Club, to reduce some of the calls I would have had to make. They were awesome and we can't wait to eat dinner in their sit-down restaurant!

had selected was certainly not without it's challenges (no on-site kitchen, very small prep/work area, etc.) I was very impressed that the food was served hot and the waitstaff was incredible. I was previously in the industry so clean tables and hot food were at the top of my priority list. Jenny maitre d' was AMAZING, my husband and I did not have to make one trip to the bar or make any special requests, if there was a time that I needed something she was right there to get it for me!!! She was by far the saving grace. I had been pretty frustrated with their office coordinator, Kathy. She was awful to deal with, she didn't seem to hear anything we were saying, at one point I told here there would be SIX tables and 30 chairs to be set up outside and she responded via email that they aren't "furniture movers" this was 3 days before my wedding, I ended up having to make arrangements to have a family member there to move the tables.The venue coordinator reaffirmed for me that all of the caterers she has dealt with have had no problems moving tables into place. I highly recommend working with Marilyn the owner if possible, she provided a much higher level of service and I was confident in the services she was providing. When dealing with Kathy I was not confident at all, two days before the wedding I was concerned the food and service would be terrible. At the end of the day, it is the caterers prerogative as to whether they want to move tables or not, and I respect that, I just wish it was approached in a more professional manor. In addition, we hired 2 bartenders through Kate & Ally's at an additional cost. The male bartender was pretty rude to my guests throughout the evening, specifically my Matron of Honor and my Aunt. The second, while very nice, stated she was a hairdresser, and needed to be walked through how to make a Malibu bay breeze. Given the fee that was paid for each "bartender" my expectations were much higher for sure. Even with the mishap with the bartenders, I honestly would have given 5 stars if it weren't for Kathy, I was blown away by the level of service during the wedding, presentation/display of food, and again Jenny, I really can't say enough about how fantastic she was. Friends and family were very pleased with the food selections and many took their cards which were left on the buffet. Again, overall I was very pleased and happy with my selection, just slightly disappointed with the bumps we hit along the road.

Leading up to the big day, Marilyn and Kathy were so helpful and supportive, keeping me calm and organized! In addition, my husband and I couldn't be more grateful for the dedication of the maitre 'de, Jen, who made sure we ate and had drinks throughout the evening. She even recognized that my mom and maid of honor did not bustle my dress correctly and pulled me aside to fix it! We had such a great time and would recommend this team to any bride and groom looking for the best service, food and dedication for their wedding. Thank you for helping us make the most beautiful evening and memories happen!

s even more excited about the idea of customizing menus, using our own recipes, or creating our own meals with the chef. We met with Kathy, the assistant, many times. She is very professional, but not very pleasant to work with. We had a very non-traditional wedding, and we were on a tight budget. This full catering service company brings more than food, and unfortunately, we felt they brought quite a bit of judgement as well. They made us feel bad if we didn't want a bread plate on a table, or extra forks for salad. They knew from the beginning how much we had to spend on catering, but there were hidden costs at every turn. All of a sudden we were required to pay $300 for the maitre D', although we had less than 50 guests. It was an added $200 fee for glassware instead of plastic, and the list goes on. We had to cut some things, like having the full bar set up, in order to afford the required things, like the maitre D, but again, they made us feel bad about it. They also offered me a "free" service of working with my rental company for me, but it turned out it wasn't "free" and in the end they were trying to take the 10% off that the rental company had promised to give to me. We felt very awkward working with Kate and Allys. They seemed to pay attention to tiny details, but on the wedding day, things were still incorrect. The food was delicious, and everyone raved about the professionalism of the servers, how attentive they were and how high class the food was, but the experience of working with them for the past 8 months, probably makes me wish that I had found a different caterer.

Rachel, who was amazing at making sure both my husband and I always had food and a drink! If you're looking for great food, I would hire them!
