Kate+Co. came to the rescue to guarantee the original dream to be married on November 7, 2020, became a reality. Original plans for our only daughter to celebrate her marriage with a grand wedding of 300+ guests, invitations were mailed. Awkward for us, but Kate+Co. composed eloquent "uninvites" by her capable "Team Kate." Their flexible timeline kept us focused & eased our anxiety through scheduling changes of venues & vendors. Their adaptability was the confidence we needed. Foremost, was the goal of our daughter & future son-in-law. They stayed on top of everything & they guided us through a rollercoaster of uncertainty. Their sense humor conveyed familiarity with our personalities & we felt relaxed. The Bride & Groom were going to visit our grandmother in a senior care facility immediately following the wedding ceremony to include her in their joy, however, due to the Health Facility lockdown a visit was prevented. Intrepid Kate+Co. empathetic & compassionate team creatively included our Mamma by delivering flowers & a miniature wedding cake! A beautiful church wedding was followed by an intimate reception at the Bride's childhood home. Kate+Co. transformed our Kirkwood house into a gorgeous wedding reception celebration. They addresses unforeseen hiccups posed by our eighty-year-old house without guests' notice. The mask-clad professional vendors & staff provided an intimate celebration of sixteen guests comprised of our immediate families, & the best friends as Maid-of-Honor & Best Man. Up to the last-minute, concern safety were addressed. Some family members were concerned about eating indoors due to the risk the pandemic imposed. Undaunted by the challenge, our guests felt safe from the risks as Team Kate delivered outdoor heaters & table linens to transform our patio for an outdoor cocktail hour & guests who were reluctant to dine with us indoors enjoyed a catered candlelight dinner under the stars. The unseasonal seventy-degree weather enabled open window dining with caution to airflow & comfort for our indoor guests.’ We laughed through personalized plastic face shields! Our original musical entertainment for a six-piece band was replaced by a pianist, who played love tunes on our upright piano during dinner. We danced under our pergola of twinkling lights to favorite music of the bride & groom. Afterwards, the greatest care was given in handling & hand washing our forty-year-old place settings, boxed for the bride & groom to enjoy their future anniversaries. Kate+Co. experienced staff & vendors supported us as we maneuvered through the uncertainty of a pandemic wedding. The newlyweds were sent off on their Happily Ever After beaming, "We wouldn't have changed anything.” Without a doubt, we highly recommend Kate+Co. owned by, Kate Turner who went above & beyond to start our daughter and son-in-law on their path to live happily ever after. Kudos & COVID-free!

But I could not have imagined how thoughtful and personal this lovely group of women would be as we asked them to tackle our own wedding. They gave us as much control as we wanted, giving us space to experiment and sort through ideas on our own. The end product was a day of incredible memories we will never forget that we felt we had a personal hand in creating with as little stress as you would expect for a wedding. Given all her dedication we witnessed for our own wedding, there is clearly a reason she has some of the strongest connections in the industry. And her experience in the space is second to none. anning process fun! I think what sets them apart from other planners is their design ideas as all of their weddings are beautiful and unique. I love how they easily executed our vision and how they were able to express touches of our love story into our design. We trusted Kate and Kimmy so completely since they had an amazing grasp of what we were looking for that towards the end of our planning process we gave them complete control of the design decisions. Over 6 months after our wedding, I am consistently told by our guests how much fun they had, how beautiful it was, and how it was the best wedding they have ever been to. My husband and I have even had people thank us for inviting them! Having a professional help guide you through the process of planning your wedding was something I never knew I needed until it happened and now I couldn't imagine doing any of this without them! They truly take into consideration every aspect and detail and make sure that you are aware of all the different things that could go into your wedding. In preparation for the wedding we had monthly meetings and phone calls to make sure things were getting done and to just check in and make sure everything was going well. The thought and energy that Kimmy put into our timeline making sure that every minute of our day was planned out was amazing. The timeline was meticulous and it took my stress level down to almost zero since 1. I didn't have to do the timeline myself and 2. I knew all the times and events would work out because I had a professional putting her seal of approval on it. The rehearsal and day of the wedding were really the icing on the cake. At the rehearsal Kimmy was there with event assistants and got us in, out, and on our way to dinner in drinks. They were professional, punctual, and perfect executing this for us. The day of the wedding went flawlessly (if something did go wrong, neither my parents or husband or I had any idea). Kate & Co had enough people to help out with my bridal party, the groom and groomsmen, and also at the church and reception venue to make sure everything was getting done. There wasn't a moment that went by when I was thinking "What do we need to do now?" or "Do we have enough time for that?" It was almost as if Kimmy could read my mind and she was on top of absolutely every single detail. We cannot thank her enough for allowing us to have the most perfect and carefree day. Kate & Co really was the reason our wedding day went off without a hitch and gave me, my husband, and both of our families the ability to sit back, relax, and enjoy this day that we had been planning for a year! I can't say enough how professional and supportive every person I encountered from Kate & Co was.

One thing I loved was that Kimmy was always honest and gave her opinions, which I really appreciated. She made the planning fun and always helped with whatever I was stressing over! On the day of the wedding, Kimmy & her team were there start to finish to make sure everything was absolutely perfect. I was so calm wedding day and truly got to just sit back and enjoy because I knew Kimmy and the team would take care of everything. My mom felt the same way. A lot of my friends say that their moms didn't enjoy the wedding because it was so stressful to make sure the schedule was followed, bring home gifts, clean up, deal with issues, etc. but we did not have any of that!! I really cannot recommend them enough! I know my wedding day was perfect because of Kimmy and I am so thankful. If you're on the fence about a wedding planner, take a meeting with Kate & Co and you will see!

Elizabeth Gorman with Kate & Company did just that and more! I'm a big picture person, and all I had to do was explain the vision and feeling of the day to Elizabeth and she made it come to life (and trust me when I say this was no easy task). I didn't have to worry about tracking down a vendor for table linens, or how tables should be arranged, or when I needed to send out invitations. She handled everything from vendor coordination to tracking RSVPs, and used this great software platform that I could log into at any time to see our progress. I received so many compliments from my bridal party that this was the most laid-back wedding they had ever been a part of, and during our dance my dad said Elizabeth was worth every penny! Elizabeth is a perfectionist, but also has a calm and steady demeanor and handles high-stress situations with ease. Instead of running a million errands or talking to vendors in the days leading up to the wedding, I enjoyed spending time with my family and friends and relaxing with my husband-to-be, which was the best wedding gift of all. Thank you, Elizabeth, for bringing our fairy tale wedding to life!

There was never a "no we can't do that" it was always "let's see how we can make that work", for example, we really wanted real candle sticks for the tables at dinner and several vendors we were working with only had the fake candle sticks- Jill and Allie found us a different vendor to get the real candle sticks for the day and made that possible! Also, the table seating and guest list organization with the software they used made it so easy to seat people etc, I don't know how we would've done it without them! The day of our wedding went so smoothly, our seasoned groomsmen and bridesmaids even commented on how smooth and drama free the day went. As the bride and groom, it was so nice to just enjoy the day and not have to worry about anything ever. They are true experts in what they do and a JOY to work with!! Also their office is really really cute :)

She answered every question with expertise and even thought of things that we didn't think of. She also was able to help us find vendors for programs and escort cards (which we hadn't thought of yet). Loren and her team took care of everything on our wedding day. There was not one thing that I stressed about. From making sure vendors were prompt and timelines were smooth to even having the needle and thread for when my strap on my dress broke. Loren and her team were so professional and helpful to myself, my husband, the wedding party, family, and guests. If you are looking for someone who truly cares about helping make your day as perfect as possible, is organized, has wonderful ideas, and is an overall lovely person- Loren at Kate and Company is the route the go. I was 100% happy and appreciative with everything they did for us. We love them (and Loren)!
