Our wedding was epic, thanks to Kate Edmonds and her incredible team. We were so fortunate that KEE took us on as clients, especially since we were not local to our New York wedding. Kate, Marisa, and Marisa have an unmatched work ethic, and made us feel as important as their largest client through every single touch point. Our wedding weekend was executed without a single hiccup, and they felt as much like family as anyone else in attendance. They are so good at what they do, that I falsely think I want to throw another party soon just to work with them again.

My husband and I were married in June of 2022 in New York City. With neither of us having family in the tri-state area, we knew we needed a wedding planner that has relationships with the best vendors and venues NYC has to offer. After our first interview with Kate we fell in love with her and her team’s energy and philosophy. We shared our vision and she immediately understood us as a couple and what it is we wanted for our wedding and from our planner. Kate and her team promptly drew up a calendar to keep us organized and informed, helping us avoid surprises. We can wholeheartedly say the planning process was an absolute dream. We truly enjoyed the months leading up to our big day, from venue tours & cake tasting to checking in with Kate and her team over a glass of wine… she somehow managed to make sure the smallest details were addressed without overwhelming us. KEE tended to and coordinated all aspects of our wedding including our rehearsal dinner at an Upper East Side mansion, our wedding day at St. Patrick’s and a fabulous Manhattan hotel, and our farewell breakfast. Her relationships with vendors enabled us to have everything we wanted, down to a custom round dance floor, allocated bourbon selections, and a string quartet for cocktail hour. Over the course of our wedding week KEE worked tirelessly to ensure everything was perfect, seeing each detail through down to the departure of our guests. Our wedding day was the best day of our lives and we owe that entirely to Kate Edmonds Events. We cannot thank them enough for such a wonderful experience from start to finish!

Kate was the most amazing wedding planner. I couldn't recommend her enough. My husband and I relied on her throughout the entire wedding planning process and the wedding itself. She knows all the great NYC-area wedding venues like the back of her hand and helped us choose an amazing spot. She connected us with fantastic vendors we never would have found on our own (catering, live music, florists, custom tailors, etc). As an aside, we also got great value for our budget (and we did not go over our budget). And on the day of the wedding, she couldn't have been more helpful. The event played out like a perfectly choreographed dance. And she was the choreographer, directing the entire production over the evening. To this day, we still have friends telling us our wedding was the nicest wedding they've ever attended. Amazing food. Great music. Beautiful floral arrangements. And multiple friends even have commented specifically on Kate, noting how gracefully she kept the event moving from scene to scene. The truth is none of this would have happened if not for Kate.

While we have very similar tastes, we also wanted to ensure that every one of our guests felt comfortable at our wedding. With Kate’s guidance, we were able to create a series of events that made every guest feel welcome, taken care of, and like they left knowing more about us and our communities. Over the years, Kate has developed incredible working relationships with countless amazing vendors. Very quickly, we learned to trust her referrals—that she knew who would best achieve our desired vision in each field. She also had the ability to coordinate all of our vendors throughout a full weekend in order to carry out a cohesive and exquisite vision from start to finish. Both my husband and I are in artistic fields, and we loved collaborating with someone who is masterfully creative. Kate not only has an incredible talent for design, she’s also quite skilled with the business side of the job. Throughout the planning process, she helped with contracts, sourced and researched everything from beautiful stationary to fancy handicapped port-a-loos, and beyond. Kate and her team also excelled at executing everything on the wedding weekend. They worked round the clock to ensure that all of our events were seamless and stunning, all the while, keeping a smile and positive attitude. It is clear that she truly loves this work. Kate’s indelible charm, experience, and knowledge came together to help craft a wedding weekend that was a perfect celebration of the life we’ve built together. We can’t recommend her enough. We had a wonderful experience working with Kate Edmonds and her team. She helped us select a spectacular venue. Her vendors—catering, floral, rentals, and others—were simply first-rate. Kate and her team coordinated a weekend’s worth of events leading to a joyous, beautiful, and warm occasion for the bride and groom, family, and friends.

Kate spun her magic for a family wedding this past August. It was up in the Hudson valley, at a magnificent, old estate. It started with cocktails at the pool, for a Friday night welcome for 150 guests and and then it flowed seamlessly to a rustic barn on the property which was transformed into an incredibly elegant explosion of color, light and fabulous food as we dined under the moonlight. The flowers in colors of oranges, fuschias, pinks were overflowing on the beautiful family style long tables. She had a fabulous fire pit built, and guests enjoyed s'mores, desserts and chatting late into the night... The wedding ceremony the next day was a fairytale in front of the mansion outdoors, followed by a meandering garden path up to a cocktail hour on the great lawn. Then we were all led to a romantic tent for dinner set for 250 people to dine and dance the night away surrounded by a plethora of many types of magnificent white flowers. She even had ceiling fans running in the middle of this, keeping guests comfortable on a steamy, summer night. It was an OMG moment as the the skies opened for a torrential rain, just as we finished dining. Nobody seemed to care, as we danced under the tent... as Kate made it all work, seemingly effortlessly! Somehow, as the celebration was winding down, the rain stopped! It was a perfect night... I can not think of a bigger challenge for a celebration, than to plan an entire weekend outdoors, and have to import every last detail. The estate was a beautiful backdrop to Kate's perfect design and production. Brava, Kate!

My fiancée and I knew we were in the right hands with Kate ten minutes into our introductory meeting… after hearing a little bit about how we met and our interests, she described her vision for what a celebration honoring both our love of elegant glamour and the outdoors might look like. Her insight was remarkable. This, combined with her effusive, witty personality, sealed the deal. Once we signed with Kate, we felt comfortable knowing she was going to help us craft the most wonderful weekend. Between adventurous site visits, exciting band showcases, creative vision meetings, and the most delicious tastings, Kate really became part of the family. Her eye for detail is stunning. Both my wife and I wanted to surprise one another with what we wore, and Kate made sure that my suit, her dress, the cake design, the floral design, and the clothing for the bridal party all were cohesive and beautiful despite neither my wife nor I knowing all of the minutia. It all came together like a dream. The team of vendors she brought together for us was nothing short of remarkable (our friends, many of whom are professional singers, can not stop talking about our band!). Kate also perfectly balanced the more relaxed vibe we wanted for our very large Welcome Dinner the night before (complete with s’mores!) with the old Hollywood in the country feeling we desired for the wedding (the black and white dance floor and chandeliers were perfect). We topped the weekend off with a brunch for everyone who attended, and she made sure everyone had a glorious send off. During the weekend, her team made everything flow so smoothly. My wife and I actually were able to relax and enjoy time with friends and family, which was our goal in finding the perfect Hudson Valley venue. The ceremony was beautiful, and when we finally walked into the reception tent, it was like walking into a fairy-tale. We are still walking on air after our wedding, and we are so grateful to have Kate in our lives. She will make your dreams come true and then some!

Kate Edmonds Events helped us plan our wedding this last August. Simply put, Kate and her team were fantastic. My wife and I could not have asked for a better experience. We had a strong idea of what we wanted but we were worried about being inundated with all the small decisions we would have to make along the way. Kate took the time to get to know us, understand what we wanted, and share in our vision. She planned and produced exactly what we wanted on our wedding weekend, all while making the whole process really enjoyable. We considered Kate and her team friends by the end of the experience! Kate and her team worked with us over the course of 10 months to plan our big day. She really knows the industry well and has great relationships with vendors in all areas, some of whom we would never have found without her. She was instrumental in putting together what truly was my dream wedding day. We gave Kate and Jessica 8 weeks to pull off an elegant 60 person wedding in a non-traditional venue. Piece of (wedding) cake!! What can I say? Well done team. Kate and the entire team made our wedding weekend the most beautiful, fun, and (most importantly for me and my husband) stress-free!! We did not need to worry about one thing and were able to fully enjoy ourselves with our friends and family, which really meant the world to us. It’s been a couple of months since the weekend and I’m still in shock that this gorgeous wedding was actually mine!! Kate made the planning an enjoyable experience, which I never imagined was possible. During the weekend the entire team was constantly working to ensure everything went smoothly and that we were happy. I had always been worried about feeling stressed during the events and not being able to enjoy myself, but Kate ensured that my role of the weekend was to have fun. I’ve probably never been as relaxed as I felt that whole weekend. I actually miss getting together with Kate for planning meetings, it was that wonderful of an experience. I genuinely can’t thank Kate and her team enough for making this the best weekend of my entire life.

Kate Edmonds and her team were AMAZING for my wedding in September. She gave me her full attention, was never too busy to take a phone call and took a vision I could never even imagine and made it come to life. She took a space that was VERY difficult to make beautiful and made it one of the most beautiful venues I have ever been to. Kate and her team worked with us for months, stayed within our budget and literally made a dream wedding come true. The professionalism from Kate and her team and the laughs we had along the way were great. The day of the wedding was hectic due to wind but I had no clue because they did not want to stress me out. When I saw the final product of the rooftop to the restaurant I was in complete awe. It was amazing and everyone who attended the wedding said it was one of the most beautiful tasteful weddings. I cannot thank Kate Edmonds Events and her team enough. I highly recommend them!!!

Kate Edmonds and her team are top notch! They helped us to organize a gorgeous and elegant wedding for 60 guests in just 8 weeks. Kate is charming, funny and great company but at the same time she is highly knowledgeable, efficient, no-nonsense, has exquisite tase and gets the job done in the chicest way possible. And Jessica, Kate's awesome assistant, is absolutely wonderful. We could not be happier with our choice of Kate Edmonds Events (KEE). They are absolutely "can do". Kate and Jessica were the best thing that ever could have happened on our wedding day. We thought that we were going to be able to handle all the "Day-Of " details until we got about a month away from our wedding day and luckily we reconsidered. Kate swooped in and thoughtfully took control of all the little pieces that build up to be a lot. Everything from things you may have forgotten (programs!) to things you certainly don't want to do on your special day (escort cards!), she and her team handled with care and precision. I live in New York City and my parents wished to celebrate their 40th Wedding Anniversary. More importantly, my father insisted that I plan and coordinate everything. I have no experience whatsoever in event planning. I had ideas on things that I would like done however, with my hectic schedule and the idea of ruining my parents 40th Wedding Anniversary with over 175 guests, I was overwhelmed!!!! I lacked knowledge in the execution of things. That is when my mother told me she wanted me to work with Kate Edmonds. I was ecstatic! Finally someone with true expertise! From my first conversation with Kate, she was on par with the ideas I had for centerpieces, the color scheme, invitations, and the overall decor for the reception hall. Kate also exercised true discretion in withholding "surprise" details I incorporated, to take place during the course of my parents Wedding Anniversary. Kate was on site to assist in the seating of our guests, a detail I had not considered. She had a proper arrangement for each person's name. Jess was present and directed and ushered everyone from our cocktail hour room into the hall for the main event. Even though, I felt I had double checked every detail to an end. A situation arose where a bus I contracted to charter guests to the venue, had yet to arrive. I was angered, frustrated, and overcome with the feeling of failure. However, Kate was right by my side. She managed to keep onlooking guests at bay and to uphold the joy of the occasion. My stress levels had reached unchartered territory, yet Kate remained calm, cool and collected. I was grateful to have Kate's assistance in the details of everything. She was easy to work with. Truly interested in my suggestions, and she did not push for us to spend an exorbitant amount of money. Kate placed our desires for execution in the forefront and added her touch of experience and class. With Kate present at the venue, I was able to actually greet guests, enjoy the event, dance until my feet hurt, and to eat from the massive array of food choices we had. For me, that was best. I had never considered that in my planning. Without Kate and Jess, I wouldn't have had a moment to enjoy those things. Or to observe the wonderment on parents faces. Since the event, I have received numerous compliments on how wonderful the night was! My mother continuously asked me if it was a dream. And my father had the biggest smile I've ever seen. That night the room was filled with love, joy and happiness...the true ingredients to a lasting marriage. Thanks to Kate Edmonds Events, I not only have the memories to remember, but the photos too!

My husband planned for he and I to celebrate our 40th wedding Anniversary. Only, in his planning, he excluded me from the details of our event; in hopes of "blowing me away" with surprises on our special day. My husband and daughter secured a venue on their own however, neither had experience in event planing. Call it "woman's intuition", but I knew I would need assistance, and that is when I met Kate. I visited Kate Edmonds, of Kate Edmond's Events and she and Jess were the "breath of fresh air" that I sought.Kate was professional and approachable from the very start, and she provided me with a flexible budget: suggestions for amazing photographers, florists, and bakers. Kate assisted in making my 40th Wedding Anniversary, a night I will never forget. I used a photographer she suggested and truly, the photos are astonishing and I will use them for years to come. Kate understood my desire to capture the moment in the most organic way. As a person of color, I desired a photographer that would represent my guests, family, and I in our most authentic light and shade. That was a mission, which was accomplished! Best of all, together with Kate the photographer and I managed to settle on a price within my budget. My cake came from a baker Kate suggested, and it blew both my guests and I away! At the end of our event, there wasn't a piece of cake left. (P.S. we had roughly 175 guests) For me, it wasn't just Kate's professional hand that made my night. It was her personal touch and attention to detail. Kate and Jess were present to assist in the greeting and seating of our guests. Kate personally aided me in putting on my gown. And although it was my 40th Wedding Anniversary, I had the joy and jitters of a new bride. I am ever grateful, that she was there. I would highly recommend Kate Edmonds Events to everyone! In fact, I'm looking forward to using her services, when its time for my daughter's special day.

All the details came together flawlessly so when I arrived I was able to feel like the guest of honour because nothing was expected from me but to enjoy my special day. Quite simply, Kate and her team surpassed our expectations. My son got married in New York and myself and my husband and extended family all live in Ireland. This was the first wedding we have hosted which was 3000 miles away so naturally we had many questions and concerns. It was wonderful to be able to e-mail, text, or call for advice along the way. I have happy memories of hearing my about my son's experiences visiting vendors with Kate and ending up at the top of Rockefeller Centre to conclude their wedding planning day (how nice!) Not only does Kate have amazing vision, she is FUN! The wedding day was magical. Kate and her team, handled every single detail from the moment we walked our son down the aisle, to making sure all the guests were happy and having a good time. As a result, my husband and I totally enjoyed the evening. A wedding can be stressful or it can be one of the most meaningful and memorable days of your life--a time when old friendships are revisited and new relationships are made. Thanks to Kate, our sons was perfect in every way. If we are lucky enough to have another wedding in our family, Kate will be the first person we call!

Kate was amazing! She truly went above and beyond to make our wedding day the best! Myself and my partner spent one Saturday interviewing about ten wedding planners over the phone. Kate was our last appointment. She explained the process in detail but was the only planner to offer to meet us. She said 'I'll come and meet you in person at your apartment'. I thought wow, how nice! From the moment Kate walked into our apartment with our personalized wedding folder (we hadn't even agreed signed a contract at this point), I knew our wedding planning was in the right hands. Myself and my husband are truly thankful that Kate was with us every step of the way. From the planning meetings we held with Kate over wine and beautiful cheeze spreads (check out her Instagram for a flavor) to the site visits from Montauk to Manhatten. She took our ideas and transformed them into a live, seamless show. One I wish I could watch over and over! I just cant say enough good things about Kate and Jess at Kate Edmonds Events! We interviewed a few planners before selecting KEE. We're both very busy young professionals, and it was important for us to select someone with the right EXPERIENCE and CONFIDENCE to get the job done not only effortlessly, but also with style and class. We didn't have time to deal with all the issues so we asked Kate to creatively manage both the macro and micro details of all aspects of the wedding and we were so glad we did! After a few interviews via skype and one in person I really feel like Kate took her time to get to know us, our lifestyle, and our preferences.... During a brainstorm session Kate had amazing ideas including one about having a 'movable feast' instead of a traditional sit down wedding dinner. We went with this idea and EVERYONE IS STILL TALKING ABOUT HOW COOL THAT WAS!! All of the vendors she suggested were perfect and phenomenal! From Marcey Brownsein Catering, DJ James, and Bettina, oh lovely Bettina! (our officiant), what a steal! Kate was such a pleasure to work with exhibiting the highest level professionalism at all times, whilst all the while being relaxed and fun! We got a bit frazzled near the end and she really helped coach and inspire us through this rough patch. You could tell she had the experience of many many many events, and this was so, so key for us because we have none! I really felt as though Kate and Jess were really personally invested in our success, almost as if we were family. All in all I would enthusiastically recommend Kate for pretty much any event, especially if you're busy and simply just want it done right!!

My husband and I got married last month and were (very thankfully) able to lean on Kate Edmonds Events during the last stretch of wedding planning to help get us to the finish line. As an event photographer I get to see the "backstage" of a wedding - and particularly what an event planner is really like. Kate is one-of-a-kind and I recommend her to all my clients. Kate is simply amazing!! We hired a wrong planner prior to working with Kate and had to let her go for many reasons. We started working with Kate one month before the wedding as a result and I was so stressed. We wanted an elegant, simple, fun wedding with 80 guests. I also wanted this process to be easy and stress free and Kate was an angel send from heaven. She jumped in right away and knew exactly what to do. Kate stepped in one month before our wedding after we had to let our original planner go and she is simply more then we evr could have hoped for. I met Kate through my best friend Elena who's wedding Kate and her team had planned. I was a maid of honor and was not heavily involved with the whole planning, however, let me tell you, Kate and her team are truly professionals and were able to turn a dream into reality! My first event with Kate, my wedding, set me up to count on her for all the important celebratory events of my life that followed. Every time she has designed and arranged an event for my family it has been fabulous -- the venues, the food, and most especially her design eye for taking both ordinary and extraordinary spaces and making them even better. I hired KEE to design my wedding and do my day of coordination.During this 3.5 month time,I feel really stressed,pushed and uncomfortable during our communications.To be fair and show my respect,I still gave her 3 stars cuz I admit and appreciate the work she has done.I didn't give the other stars cuz I think she still got a lot to improve. Back in mid June,I was doing research on the Knot and I received a msg from KEE and stated she has experience planning wedding at my venue before and show strong interest to plan my wedding.I feel great!Cuz my venue is a historical building so it has a lot limitations and restrictions.I thought her experience is a big plus+ so I chose her.Since I already have cater,venue and have been in contact with florist,I only bought a half package with her including wedding design,rehearsal and day of coordination.I guess becuz I didn't buy a 'FULL' package?this is where all the story began. One of the requirements she can sell me a half package is I need to let them do my flowers.Although I already got in touch with several florists,I think it does not hurt me. Eventually,I know she's sub contracting the flower to another florist.Not to mention the pricy price I have to pay,they made my flowers wrong!We have very detailed discussion on what kind of flowers to use and shape of the boutique.1st, my bridal boutique($300) didn;t turn out to be waterdrop shape as I requested. 2nd,my bridesmaid boutiques($150) are EXACTLY same as my boutique although what I asked is while tullip!3rd, same thing for groom and groomsmen boutonnieres,they are EXACTLY the same.I emphasize many times they need to be different.I wonder if she listen.And she starting to say they left the tullip at office and it needs 20mins to back to office to get them.Apparently it;s a lie cuz I know the tullip is much expensive than the roses she gave.I wish I can attach pics to show how terrible the boutique look like,I feel everyone is laughing at me after learnt I spend $$$ to get this kind of flower. My suggestion to anyone have florist package with her later to have her write down the flowers to use in the contract! 2rd, she;s not good at budget control.Everything I give to her is beyond my budget-flowers 5k budget turns to 6.5k,rental budget 2k turns to 4k.And she even trying to bill me something I didn;t agree with.Although she said 'I don't want to give u a cold invoice' but I feel all time she;s talking about is MONEY and I really feel pushed! 3.I probably will still leave her a 5 stars cuz everyone telling me do not expect a 'perfect' day,there will always have something 'wrong',so I don't really blame her on those stress and extra money I spent as long as she present everything without big issue.Until AFTER the wedding,she told me vendors didn;t clear up and move out on time which leads to extra $1000 charge from the venue.Of course,she gave me thousand reasons-the elevator is small,breakdown time is short,so many vendors... But come on,she's the day of coordination and we inspect the venue together and she said she has experience working on this venue since the 1st day we met.That's why I hire her!And her attitude was terrible when I tried to seek a solution with her,she starting to say how much she did and how lucky I am to get a half package price. Excuse me? Overall,I don't feel I have a very good experience with KEE and she said she won't sell half package any more-why you sell it then?so anyone has 100k+ budget,I would recommend her.

My husband and I Live in Florida and when we first decided to get married in our favorite City I knew I had to find someone great and flexible and who is able to handle a lot of things without me being present and someone who I can also trust. Wow, I sure found her! Kate and her Team went above and beyond to make our special day as beautiful as we could ever imagine! Kate was introduced through a very trusted mutual friend and when we first met she was very eager to get to know me, to learn what I love, and about my family so she could coordinate and choose a style and vendors that would suit our taste and the budget. While planning a wedding can at times be difficult and stressful, it is only amplified when you don't live close to where your wedding will take place. I have to say that my experience with Kate was like no other wedding planner that I've heard of. From picking the venue, a dress, cake, photographer, and to little things like creating a hashtag; she always made it fun and got us. She paid close attention to every detail and truly created the most amazing memory not only for our family but for every single person who attended. Our rehearsal dinner was beautiful and sophisticated as well and Kate's team worked with my husband to establish an alternate party venue for those guests who were not on the rehearsal dinner list. That too was amazing! There is nothing I would change about our wedding weekend and choices we have made. Not only I have the most wonderful memories of my beautiful wedding day but I also have great memories built throughout the year of planning it. It was the most memorable of times! KEE always gave me peace and confidence that if I'm not there things are still getting done! I am eternally grateful for everything and everyone and so glad we have made a friend like Kate for life!

We hired Kate to plan part of our "european" wedding in Southampton. We were not used to a wedding planner and were impressed by all the details she made us aware of during the planning and our fruitful meetings in New York to piece everything together. The contacts she provided us for food, flowers, photography, reverend and rentals met our limited budget without limiting the service. We could not have managed the planning over the distance and were pleased to have her on board. We are happily looking through our pictures. Her friendly staff was always helpful and proactive. I think handling just part of a wedding is not her normal style, but we were able to organize ourselves together and make our wedding as beautiful and unique as it was.

We are very pleased with everything that Kate Edmund did for us when we asked her to help plan our wedding. Our engagement party was an exciting beginning – with stunning floral displays, innovative lighting arrangements, and excellent music. The arrangements for the rehearsal dinner, the wedding, and the wedding reception were equally attractive and impressive. Kate was always ready to fulfill our whims as well as to suggest interesting ideas to enhance the overall experience. We have asked her to help with several additional social events and parties that have been very successful. Kate was absolutely wonderful as my Wedding Planner and Event Designer. My company recommended her as she is based in NYC. She managed our 275 person wedding at the Pierre, I wanted a Flemish theme, It was lovely, so pretty I felt like I had stepped into an autumn still life. The following cocktail and dancing reception the very next week for 175 friends at the Ritz Carlton in San Francisco for our friends on the West Coast was a blast; lots of dancing and even a conga line! Kate and her crew handled us with dignity, grace a wonderful sense of humor and a clear head, considering how much security she had to deal with, not to mention press annoyances! Our rehearsal dinner had 120 people attend, and they were just the out of towers. It was a wonderful nod to our love of all things Asian, The Asia Society was a perfect authentic choice. The decor was splendid as was the Chinese band she produced at the last minute when we changed our mind about music! All the food was wonderful and the settings superb. The cakes too, were more delicious than we could believe. Gone was the cardboard cake of our childhood memories. Kate planned our wedding. She listened to what I wanted and then took me all around NYC to find the places that fit my dreams. This was no small task! I wanted a late afternoon church wedding, followed by a intimate dinner for the wedding party and international family and friends, followed by a sophisticated but fun after party. No easy task! She was spot on with her recommendations as she understood the evening and atmosphere that we wanted to create. She found the perfect beautiful church on lower 5th Avenue, a private room in a lovely country French restaurant and a spectacular loft on 18th & 5th for the after party. Everywhere was filled with the most wonderful flowers (almost every guest commented), and an atmosphere that was intimate, special and lots of fun. Thank you Kate!

I miss my wedding.! .....Three years ago Kate Edmonds helped me plan the wedding of our dreams. It was truly stunning. Can we please do it again??. I have had the privilege of attending a wedding as a guest in the Hamptons that was designed and planned by Kate Edmonds and I can tell you without qualification that this was the most beautiful wedding I have ever attended.
