Kate Whitcomb Personalized Shoes

s ZERO customer service and they STILL haven’t refunded me for them! STAY AWAY!

me and I did NOT want to change our height difference lol. One of my most dear friends recommended Kate Whitcomb. They have beautiful shoes. I was so excited to order. I ordered my shoes in a size 7 (my shoe size for 10 years). They are gorgeous and arrived in perfect condition. I tried them on (on carpet) and unfortunately, they run a half size big. This was disappointing. I’m giving four stars because there is no exchange process (you must return and reorder the shoes), returns must be approved online, communication takes 48 hours, you have to pay for shipping both to buy the shoes and return the shoes, and all of this adds to a bride’s mental load in the last few months before the wedding. I SO appreciate supporting a seemingly small business. However, they should communicate the size issue on each effected pair of shoes page in bold “this pair tends to run a half size large. Order a half size less than your typical size.” We understand completely and just need to know in advance of purchase. This would reduce returns on their end and improve the customer experience. There is a very specific return process so make sure that you try your shoes on with clean feet on clean carpet! And buy them in advance as returns need to be approved and it takes more than 24 hours. However, shipping was LIGHTNING fast. I appreciate that.

he tissue paper the shoes were wrapped in is currently stuck to the heel. Gems were on random spots of the lace that clearly didn’t belong. The gem pieces were glued on and there are huge spaces of white with no gems. I could go on and on. These were extremely disappointing as I had my eyes on a pair for MONTHS. Please DO NOT BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE.

r the straps. There was so much glue, it was on the crystals and pearls. I couldn’t just return them. I had to request to return. I requested and selected the option that they were faulted. About a day later, they emailed to ask what was wrong and to send pictures. I did right away. Another day later, they responded and apologized. They said there was a problem at the factory and that batch was bad. Why weren’t they checked before sent? I asked that they refund me. Another day later, they responded and said I could keep the shoes for half price or return them for a refund. I asked to return them for a full refund since they were unwearable as is. Another day later, they refunded me. When I asked how to return them, they said no worries, keep them. Why were they going to charge me half price if they didn’t want them anyhow? So disappointed.

! They seemed to run a little big though so I returned them to get a half size down. Communication with Kate Whitcomb has been prompt and my order arrived really quickly, so I’m hoping the next size down works! Although the return process is more complicated than other vendors, I have had a good experience with them so far and would recommend giving them a try!

n the website it says these run big. That’s not that case at all for me, they are actually too small and my fiancé noticed that before I did even. The toe strap is rather tight as well. I am ordering the half size up and hopefully that will be perfect!

Instead, you have to send back the first pair and then completely reorder a new pair, while paying the shipping fees again. They were very easy to communicate with though!

so I had to purchase the 8's and will be returning the 8.5 pair. Very impressed with how the shoes came in, you can tell they take pride in making sure each pair is never worn and returned as they place a protective film on the bottom! Highly recommend these for your big day! Excited for my smaller size to come in.

ave to buy heels in a 6.5. These are so pretty and will match my gown perfectly. The box is also amazing. I was really impressed with the presentation and elegance of the box and bag provided. And when it came time to request an exchange the customer service provided has been excellent. Its really refreshing to see an online store be so accommodating, other brands I've bought from online have left me with no solution to getting my money back. However I am ordering a new size to fit me perfectly, and I will be advising my friends and family that they should order from Kate Whitcomb as well!

feedback is the detail in the back. There’s a gap where it looks like it may be coming undone or off. I’m hoping the next pair don’t come like that. But I just love the look of the shoe!

use and set up a special payment portal so that I could purchase them. They were delivered so fast and I'm so glad I was able to purchase them in my size.

biguous, and they only correspond via delayed emails. They finally sent me a return label (after I sent detailed pictures), and it has been almost a MONTH since I sent back the shoes for a refund. No email. No confirmation. Over $270 was spent, and still no word on a refund. If you end up purchasing a pair.. only buy one pair and hope it's in good condition because you may not get your money back. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

oes size is a bit of a hassle and you do have to pay a return shipping fee. The shoes were so lovely I think it will be worth the effort to return and get a new size.

because they are absolutely gorgeous, delicate, unique, and COMFORTABLE (which was a must for me)! They make my dress look even more beautiful and make me feel like a real-life Cinderella. They were also packaged with extreme care and shipped very quickly! However, when I had to exchange them for a half size smaller, the return process was a bit tedious. Still totally worth it! I cannot wait to show them off on my big day! Thank you!
