After my twin sister’s amazing experience dress shopping at Kathryn’s Bridal for her 2021 wedding, it was an easy decision to make Kathryn’s Bridal my one and only stop for my own dress shopping journey for my November 2024 wedding. And I can honestly say it was an absolutely magical experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the warmest, most knowledgeable staff who made me feel right at home. The selection of dresses is absolutely stunning—so many beautiful styles to choose from! The team at Kathryn’s Bridal helped me narrow it down and, with their expertise, I found the one. My consultant took the time to really listen to what I was looking for: an elegant dress with a little flare. She brought me several dresses that perfectly captured my vision and style. Throughout the process, they were patient, encouraging, and genuinely excited to help me find the dress of my dreams. A major bonus was the in-house alteration service! It was such a relief to know that everything—from finding the perfect dress to getting it tailored—was handled under one roof. I left Kathryn’s Bridal feeling confident, supported, and absolutely thrilled with my choice. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and I highly recommend this boutique to any bride-to-be looking for their dream gown.

Finding “THE” dress is a stressful experience for every bride. However, all of the staff at Kathryn’s Bridal made sure that I felt beautiful, confident, and excited for my wedding day. When I came in to try on dresses, I had a very vague idea of what I was looking for. Once I started to explain my vision to Kathryn and her staff, each dress that they pulled was closer and closer to what I pictured myself wearing on my wedding day. The last dress that I tried on that day was the one that I ended up saying “yes” to, and I felt so grateful, emotional, and supported in that moment. When my dress arrived a few months later, I was terrified that it wouldn’t fit me (a fear that every bride experiences). Once I relayed how I felt, Kathryn was so kind and understanding, and I was able to come try it on once or twice before alterations began, which was a total relief. The alterations process was also seamless (no pun intended) and I felt assured after every appointment that my dress would be absolutely stunning and fit perfectly on my wedding day… And it definitely did. The seamstress took such care in making my dress, fit to me! It turned out great and my gown was fantastic. You'll love the vibe at Kathryn's, the people are so great and you are going to have fun. No doubt that you will feel like the center of attention when you fit on gown, after gown on.

I bought my dress at Kathryn’s and the experience was fantastic all the way through. Lanna was my consultant. She reviewed my Pinterest board and understood the style that I wanted. She was so helpful in making sure I didn’t get clouded vision and that I ended up with a dress that I wanted. My dress was perfect and I’m still obsessed with it. I also did all my alterations through Kathryn’s and they were perfect. My seamstress listened to my concerns and made the changes. My dress fit perfectly! Lastly I did my dress cleaning through them and it was a seamless process. I can’t recommend them enough.

I bought my wedding dress for Kathryn’s Bridal and everything about my experience there was wonderful. Their selection of dresses was what brought me in, and all of the staff we worked with went above and beyond to help make my vision come alive. Emily was my stylist and she was the best! I had so many dresses in mind coming in, and she found one that I didn’t even know about that was perfect! I had trouble finding a veil, and Emily suggested we try a cape instead and oh my gosh, it was the greatest decision. I felt very welcomed and valued at Kathryns! All of the alterations were great as well! Overall, the selection of dresses and the wonderful services made Kathryn’s so perfect!

My son’s wedding was on June 15. I’ve never felt more beautiful than I did wearing my dress from Kathryn’s! Dee was the integral person in making me feel comfortable and confident when I was nervous and not feeling good about myself. She pulled the best dresses for my figure and my vision. MJ was also wonderful to work with. Sherry did amazing work on the alterations and adding a bell sleeve during one of our alteration sessions. I received numerous compliments at the wedding and on FB and IG! The store is absolutely beautiful, the selection of dresses amazing, and the people the most friendly and professional around! I will always recommend Kathryn’s and will only shop here for my future dresses!

The seamstress did an amazing job with the alterations; she was extremely detail-oriented and even made a beautiful lace belt to add just the right amount of embellishment. Fair Godmothers! That is what this bridal salon is! I went in newly pregnant worried about a wedding dress and they took that worry and allowed me to feel beautiful in every dress I tried on. When I was postpartum, the seamstress was my biggest cheerleader, allowing me to go down to last minute, because she knew losing the baby weight the natural way was important to me. The staff was an absolute delight to work with. They are knowledgeable and genuinely sincere. They have so many different styles of dresses to choose from, and can find your dream dress just by some pictures and talking with you. They help you step by step and are great at communicating what is needed next. I will forever love Kathryn's bridal!

Working with Lanna at Kathryn’s I felt like I was in good hands with a knowledgeable and experienced saleswoman! She knew her stock, was kind and stayed within my budget. Sherry was my seamstress and I was completely at ease because again I could tell that she knew her stuff! A very pleasant experience overall and I felt beautiful on my big day!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Everything about Kathryn's Bridal exceeded all of my expectations. It was a one stop shop for me and found my dream wedding dress during my first visit. The entire staff is so warm and welcoming and treat you like family. From making my appointments to visiting the store for various try ons to answering all of my questions in between, Kathryn's Bridal definitely knows what they are doing. They have so much knowledge and experience being able to listen to what you are looking for and being able to select the exact dresses that match your desires. I could not recommend Kathryn's Bridal enough!

Not only did I find my dress at Kathryns but the experience was by far the best I had encountered while searching. I didn't feel pressured into buying anything and was never uncomfortable. Christine was with us for the first time and she was very good at listening to what I liked and didn't like. She picked a handful of dresses based on what I was thinking and the first dress she had me try on was the one I decided to go with. Which just shows how good she is at her job. Laura altered my dress and again she was very good at listening to what I wanted. She always made me feel comfortable with each try-on and was very good at explaining what changes she was going to make to the dress. I was very appreciative of the time she took to explain. I will forever be OBSESSED with my dress. I had an over-skirt for the ceremony which made my train longer and more beautiful, it also gave me that A-line look. I then took the over-skirt off for the reception for a second look. It was full of sparkles and so much detail but at the same time still soft and formal. It was everything I had hoped for and more. I recommend Kathryn's not only for their wide variety of dresses and styles, but their amazing staff as well.

I had such a wonderful experience shopping at Kathryn’s. The staff were friendly and made me feel comfortable when shopping. They have an amazing selection of dresses in different styles and price points. We also did alterations through them and the seamstress was attentive to what I wanted tweaked and did a beautiful job. There was an issue with gems falling off the hair piece we bought and they fixed it right away. Cannot recommend enough!

So happy with my beautiful wedding dress!!! I stumbled upon Kathryn’s after having a not so great experience at another bridal shop. I searched the dress I loved from the other shop and saw Kathryn’s had it in stock. They were able to get me right in and I absolutely loved my experience there. My stylist was so down to earth and listened to what I wanted. I tried on some other dresses but ended up picking the original dress I called about. I never knew how important a bridal experience was until having such amazing success at Kathryn’s. My stylist even knew to order my dress for the “shorter” bride which ended up saving me alteration costs! Their seamstress made my dress fit like a glove!!!! My dress was so beautiful, I had so many compliments on my wedding day, one friend said I looked like a Disney princess, lol. That was all made possible by Kathryn’s. I’m so grateful to have found them.

I absolutely LOVE Kathryn’s! I first went there with a friend to find her dress, which we did successfully. I went there for my wedding dress and my mother’s dress for my wedding. Everyone there is great, but Emily is especially fantastic! They also did the alterations on my wedding dress and did a great job.

Choosing Kathryn's Bridal was one of our best decisions in our planning process! It was important to us to involve trusted local and small businesses in our hometown to make our day special. I highly recommend getting your wedding dress at Kathryn's. When I went shopping for my bridal dress I liked that they have so many styles and so many dresses in all price ranges. I HIGHLY recommend Kathryn’s Bridal to every one and anyone and I have found all of my dresses at Kathryn’s Bridal. I love the warm welcome you get when you walk in the door and everyone knows me by name which gives it that true small town feel. The staff is all amazing much like the owner. Their selection of dresses is almost “overwhelming” but in a good way especially for a picky girl like me because there’s so many choices. There’s literally a dress for everyone for every shape, size and style. I have shopped at Kathryn’s since my freshman year in high school (2010) so almost 15 years and every time I’m more impressed I will continue to shop here for my dresses. I can’t thank them enough!!

I found my wedding dress before going to Kathryn's, but ended up using Kathryn's for my bridesmaid dresses and all of the guys' tuxes. The few different ladies we had helping us throughout the process of trying on, ordering, measuring, and pickup were all great! I always knew I didn’t want a traditional wedding dress and struggled to find places that offered dresses that were not white and in my size range. I am so thankful I was able to find my dream black wedding dress at Kathryn’s! Their team was amazing, from picking out my dress with Lanna to getting it altered in-house with Laura. They made a situation that I thought was going to be stressful, fun! My friends and family were very surprised to see my non-traditional dress, and I was able to feel like I was truly being myself as I twirled around the dancefloor in my gothic getup. Kathryn’s should be on every bride’s radar for their big day!

Kathryn’s bridal was such a phenomenal experience every step of the way. I worked with Emily and she was absolutely incredible. I was not the best at describing what I wanted in a dress but with the few details I provided she was able to find me the dress of my dreams. On top of that everytime I had an appointment or simply wanted to try the dress on again Emily was there. It made the experience so much more special knowing everyone who works there was so friendly and really cared about my feelings. The seamstress did an outstanding job and made the dress fit me perfectly. She was very experienced and listened to what I had to say. Perfect experience. The atmosphere at Kathryn’s is warm, peaceful, and absolutely beautiful! There are gorgeous dresses literally everywhere around you. My stylist, Christine, was calm & genuine and let me and my mom browse and choose the first dresses to try on, which was a huge relief compared to other shops that insisted on selecting dresses for me. Every dress I saw was stunning, it feels like a tastefully curated collection. My alterations were completed by Laura, who is incredibly talented and good at her craft. She had to bring my dress down nearly two sizes because I lost weight. I didn't think it would be possible to maintain the look of the dress (especially with its large, symmetrical lace pattern), but she did it and I would never have known it wasn't the original size! Very thankful for my experience at Kathryn's, 10/10 would recommend to others!!!

I have been shopping at Kathryn’s bridal for as long as I can remember for prom or homecoming so it was a no brainer that I was going to start here for my wedding dress. This was the only bridal shop I ended up going to as I was lucky enough to find my dream dress on my first shopping trip. They had a wonderful selection of dresses- Cinderella dresses, lacey dresses, sexy & slim dresses, traditional dresses, everything you could imagine. I was lucky enough to get my dress from their sample sale which was a dream come true because I am not sure I could have afforded that designer dress otherwise. I was able to get a matching veil there too. I also did all my alterations with them and that process was also wonderful. The seamstress is so kind and sweet, she made everything stress free, and her work is phenomenal. She even found a bead to fill in one that was missing from my dress. If you are looking for a one of a kind experience and dresses, I suggest Kathryns! And a big thank you to all the wonderful and helpful staff there!

I had THE BEST experience at Kathryn’s Bridal! Wedding dress shopping was something I was not looking forward to, I had never been a fan of people pushing me to try things on. This was not the case at all at Kathryn’s. They listened to everything I wanted in a wedding dress, and supported me finding just that! Katherine's bridal was a huge part in completing the dream red barn wedding too. Tammy helped me find my dream firefly in a field wedding dress that I dreamed of. My aunt Linda, sister in law glenda, both bride squad members were there also. Along with my sister in law danneet by video chat. The song somewhere over the rainbow came on the radio when I found my dress and brought everyone to tears. It's a significant song in our family for special moments. Every fitting was on point and they even let me stay in the dress a bit longer.

Kathryn’s bridal has the absolute best team. Christine and Lanna were such amazing consultants. They were so patient with me, understood my vision, and were just all around so helpful. I always felt welcomed and accommodated (which I can’t say the same for some other boutiques in the area). I can’t express how important that was to me for making dress shopping and purchasing a positive experience, especially because big purchases make me nervous! I think this was truly the first time I made a big purchase and walked out without a single doubt, which I have this team to thank for. I really can’t say enough good things, I highly recommend them.

After several other disappointing appointments at other stores I wasn’t feeling great coming in. Lanna instantly turned that around. She totally understood the look I was going for and brought me quite a few great options right away. I had it narrowed down to two favorites but couldn’t quite decide that day so Lanna came in early the next day to meet me for one last try on to make sure I picked the dress that truly felt like me. I’m so happy I was able to say yes to the dress at Kathryn’s!

I cannot say enough great things about Kathryn's Bridal. I found the perfect dress and was even able to wear it TWICE because we got married during Summer of 2020 and then again in 2021 when we did a renewal of vows and our big postponed reception. The people at Kathryn's were always SO kind and helpful during the very confusing times in 2020 when no one knew what was going to happen to weddings. They worked with me every step of the way and I never felt stressed or worried when it came to having the dress ready in time. In 2019 when I went dress shopping, looking at all the amazing dress options was overwhelming, but somehow it very quickly became an easy decision as we narrowed down styles and looks that I liked/didn't like. When I found the dress, it felt like such a movie moment, and it was SO easy to say "YES" to the dress!

I had such a great experience at Kathryn's! I loved being able to walk around to pick out dresses while my consultant did the same thing. I did end up picking my dress when I went and I was not expecting to pick my dress that day. I had looked at pictures from their Instagram highlights, took a screenshot of one that I liked and it ended up being the last dress I tried on and the dress that I said yes to! They were great to work with from my very first appointment, to the day that I picked up my dress for my wedding.

When I first tried on dresses, before officially landing on the one, they were super helpful with bringing me various options in the style that I had envisioned for myself and did not make me feel pressured to try on dresses that I didn’t like or dresses that weren’t my style. The dress I finally said yes to was absolutely beautiful and just what I had been looking for! They even helped me customized even more to my liking by making suggestions on certain things I could add to the dress to make it pop even more such as the straps and belt. My seamstress, Laura, through kathryns was great as well! Very professional and accommodating! She made sure my dress was absolutely perfect on me before I officially picked it up before the big day! She ensured the dress was comfortable enough to wear all day for the wedding and added a bustle which was barely noticeable at all! I loved the way my dress turned out it made me feel like a princess on my big day and I’m extremely thankful for everyone who helped me with my dress at kathryns! The shop is super cute too if you’re looking for a more boutique style shop. I Highly recommend checking out kathryns when looking for your wedding dress!

My mom and I came into Kathryn's feeling a bit defeated after I had tried on what felt like a million dresses earlier that day and not finding a dress that I loved. Melissa was my consultant for the appointment and she was awesome! My mom and I were able to browse and pull some dresses that we thought I'd like and just by seeing what we pulled, Melissa was able to figure out my likes and dislikes immediately! Lana was also great when I called a few days after ordering after having some doubt about the color of my dress (who know there were so many shades of white!). She suggested I come into the store and take another look at my dress just to make sure I was 100% set on my dress. When I arrived at the store, she quickly pulled my dress and helped me get back into it and fall in love with it all over again. Editing after my wedding because I just have to talk about Laura with alterations. She was INCREDIBLE!! She was able to work with me to ensure I was able to come in for fittings whenever I was in town as I moved out of state during the planning process and was limited on how often I could go in. When I say that she’s a miracle worker, I truly mean it! If you buy your dress at Kathryns, do your alterations with Laura!

Everything about my experience with Kathryns was fantastic! The people there made us feel so welcome, and they were so patient the entire time. I loved that they allowed us to take a look around for dresses ourselves, as well as had some picked out to match my vision! I ended up going with a completely different style dress than I had anticipated because there were just so many beautiful dresses I had to try a bunch and ended up falling in love. Every fitting was very quick, easy, and you can tell Laura takes a lot of time and energy to make the dress perfect. I also ended up buying my accessories from there which were beautiful. I received so many compliments on my dress and would recommend Kathryns to any, and every bride!

Everyone I encountered at Kathryn’s Bridal made my day special and easy. I was very nervous as I’m a first time bride and I had waited too long to start dress shopping. Lanna made my experience lovely! I will highly recommend others to Kathryn’s bridal and will schedule to get my bridesmaids dresses from there as well.

Top notch. Superior. Outstanding. These 3 words are the only ones that could even come close to the level of service you get when you shop with Kathryn's Bridal. Kathryn and her team of consultants are by far the best in their business. Not only do they take the time to ensure you are trying on the most stylish dresses, but they genuinely care about your feedback and ensure you are comfortable and satisfied throughout the whole process. The selection of dresses is endless; there is something for every style, size and budget. Being from Mchenry, but now living in Kansas, when it came to finding the perfect dress, flying home and shopping at Kathryn's Bridal was a no-brainer. They were flexible with scheduling, and made alterations a breeze. I cannot say enough good things in regards to how great Kathryn's Bridal is, and highly suggest it to anyone in the area (and anyone not in the area too!)
