The city-romantic reception space features impressive 20' ceilings accented with bright white structured beams and Edison-bulb lighting. The glowing natural light invited by the panoramic pane windows warms the natural oak farmhouse-styled tables and chairs, exposed brick, and modern brushed brass scones. With the ability to welcome 250 seated guests or up to 500 standing guests, we ensure no one needs to miss out on the fun.
Photo opportunities range from posing in front of our breathtaking murals by Surface of Beauty, inside our intimate private outdoor patio, and only steps away from the gorgeous Hudson Valley River views.
Couples can arrange the space as they wish, empowering them to get creative and think big when planning their event. The spacious wedding suite is available for the party to use as a get-ready space, or simply to take a moment’s pause from the event.
With our management team having over 20 years of industry experience, our focus is to ensure every client has the event they have always dreamed of. As a full-service catering event space, we are providing custom culinary menus from our award-winning team. Using the best local ingredients available, Keepsake's menu was designed to impress all of the senses. Our skilled chefs focus on providing classic American fare cooked with passion while adhering to any dietary restrictions needed.
With Keepsake at The Academy not have a site fee for weddings, our rate of $175 per person your guests will leave with memories to last a lifetime. This includes food, beverage, labor, gratuity, administrative fees.

My husband and I were married here April 2024 and could not have enjoyed our experience more. The events director, Heather was phenomenal to work with and made the experience great. She worked tirelessly with us to make our vision come to life, met countless times with me on site to explain and execute our vision. We are so appreciative of her expertise, time, consideration, and skill. The venue space is beautiful and unique and the food, cocktail hour, were phenomenal. Our guests could not have complimented the wedding more! We thank you Heather and the staff at KeepSake at The Academy for the wedding of our dreams!
Our experience at Keepsake was amazing. Starting with our tour with Heather. She was so friendly and helpful, taking time to answer all of our questions and giving suggestions to guide us through our process. For the actual event we were paired up with Jedda who was equally as friendly and helpful. Jedda took it one step further and went above and beyond to make our event extra special. She suggested things to match our theme and added extra touches that made our event even more special. I loved working with her and would recommend her to anyone.
My husband and I had the privilege of being the first wedding held at Keepsake and it went off without a hitch! It can be very overwhelming planning a wedding, but Heather, the events coordinator, was extremely thorough, informative and accommodating throughout the entire planning process. The venue itself and the provided tables/seating/dinnerware were all tastefully done. The space provides for the perfect canvas to make it your own, while still showcasing its architecture. We ended up taking all of our wedding photos at the venue as well since there were so many options for really great backdrops, and they turned out even better than I could have imagined! The food was delicious and elevated from other venues that I’ve tried, which was an important factor for us when choosing a venue. The dance floor was spacious, the bar was centrally located for all guests and the bridal suite was large enough to fit all 10 of my bridesmaids! We were super impressed with how the everything went from the early planning stages to the after party and highly recommend any newly engaged couple to consider Keepsake for their dream wedding!
Just booked our wedding at Keepsake and couldn’t be more excited! I have told everyone I know already but Heather has been a DREAM to work with. It makes us even more sure that we made the right choice when choosing our venue. She’s knowledgeable of the area, is extremely accommodating and such a breath of fresh air in this wedding planning process.
I attended this venues very first wedding this past weekend and everything went off without a hitch. The space is truly gorgeous, food was excellent and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Heather, the events director, is a pleasure to work with. For a venues very first event I was very impressed and can't wait to see how this space improves even more with time. Hope to be back here for many more events in the future!
My fiancé and I took a trip to this venue a while back and Christian was amazing. The venue isn’t finished yet so we will definitely be back in the springtime/summertime once it’s complete. Christian was very nice, responsive, helpful and was understanding to our needs and concerns in terms of planning our future wedding. We’re looking forward to coming back once everything is finished and we see more reviews on wedding experiences here!
The venue is not open yet and we have not booked but after reading the negative review here I wanted to come on and say I am strongly considering booking here and have had the exact opposite experience. Christian who is in charge of events answers every email and question I send to him within hours no matter how many I have and if he doesn't have an answer he researches right away.
