nd was very fun and easy to work with. We wanted to keep our guests engaged throughout the reception by including a trivia game and a scavenger hunt in between dance songs. DJ Jeremy was so accommodating, and he was able to make the smooth and fun transition between games and dancing. He even went and got a line dance going, which was super awesome! We have guests telling us the following days that our DJ was such a great dancer! It was such a pleasure working with Kelli and DJ Jeremy, and I can't recommend them enough.

Kelli initially met with us via Zoom to give a presentation on her company and why investing our money into a professional DJ really mattered and what we could expect as potential clients. By the end of the presentation – we were sold. As Kelli herself had already been booked – we chose to work with DJ Jonny Hartwell. Jonny was AMAZING from start to finish. Every time we were on the phone with him we could tell that his attention was solely focused on us and our big day. The day of the wedding was GREAT. Jonny was high energy and kept the night moving exactly as we had envisioned - we heard the music we requested and some popular songs that we gave him the creative freedom with. We also had a photo booth - the magic mirror - and people are STILL talking about it a few months later. The attendant, Bill, was great and explained everything to some of the older crowd that wanted to use it. It was so great to have a copy of each photo taken and a USB drive full of them too. In short, we 100% recommend Kelli Burns Entertainment, DJ Johnny, and Bill the Photobooth Attendant. If you go with Kelli Burns Entertainment you will NOT be disappointed.

She is meticulous, personable, professional and kept our guests engaged from start to finish. Even after an entire month, everyone is still raving about how wonderful she was (so much so that my parents want to book her for my sister’s 2022 wedding). She accommodated all of my requests (i.e. do not play the macarena or cha cha slide) and worked with my maid of honor to make sure everything was perfect. Also, if you’re like me and love convenience, DJ Kelli really has it all in terms of wedding entertainment—DJs, officiants, photo booths, lighting, dance lessons, etc—which means you won’t have to shop around for a bunch of different vendors. (Side note: Jeremy choreographed an entire first dance for us. We messed it up but it was STILL magical. Highly recommend.) At the end of the day, many have said that our rehearsal would’ve been “chaos” and our reception would’ve been “lame” without DJ Kelli. Trust me, just schedule the consultation.

She personalized our reception by adding in various tidbits of fun facts about the bride and groom, as well as various fun extras like having other couples kiss in addition to the bride and groom when the glasses were clanked. She coordinated with our day of planner, who was also our caterer, and they worked together to come up with a wedding reception timeline. When the wedding day came and our ceremony was behind schedule due to an unexpected rain shower, she even worked with our caterer on the fly to rearrange various activities in the timeline such as the cake cutting, etc to ensure that our videographer, who we had only scheduled through a specific time, would be there to capture the moment.

ules. The information she took at the beginning was very relevant and comprehensive and was entirely meant to make the experience suited for the client. I never felt pressured into adding or taking out something. For instance, I didn't want to do a father/daughter dance because my father hates dancing. That was no problem whatsoever and the reception flowed on without a hitch. We selected the Dynamic Duo to DJ our wedding and it was fabulous. Every detail was accounted for and there was a bit of improvisation thrown in for some unexpected turns (as are wont to occur for weddings!). We were able to select all the music for our ceremony that reflected our nerdy and unique tastes (let's just say there were a few video game and fantasy film themes). My niece was our flower girl and Jonny Hartwell presented her with a trophy at the reception! It was a beautiful and heartwarming touch. My guests are still raving about what a wonderful time they had, which was the most important thing for me and my husband. I was once told that the least fun I would ever have at a wedding was at my own. Well, that turned out to be completely untrue and I feel like a large part of the reason is Kelli Burns Entertainment. You will not regret choosing them for your wedding!

During the months leading up to our wedding, Kelli was amenable to reaching through any available avenue (be it email, phone, video chat, or in person). Kelli’s craft was truly artistic, and we could tell that she wanted to tailor everything specifically to our needs, what we wanted, and our cultural background (We tossed Kelli the idea for a New Orleanian second line and everyone loved it!). We loved and greatly appreciated the effort she made to work closely with our other vendors as well. From start to finish, Kelli’s work was fantastic, and she inspired confidence from the start. Kelli was both our DJ and our event coordinator, so we worked closely regarding the cocktail hour, the ceremony, and the reception. She was incredibly amenable to suggestions and last-minute changes and did everything she could to accommodate us from so far away. She had everything: from an itinerary of the ceremony and reception to a thorough list of billboard hits and popular songs in other weddings. At the end of our wedding day, our guests were singing her praises. Kelli didn’t disappoint. We cannot praise Kelli enough.

He even made mixes of some of our favorite songs/artists which was really special and fun for us.
