Kellie Ryan was an incredible wedding planner! Any bride would be lucky to have her help with their special day. From day one, Kellie understood our vision and helped us execute it with her dense knowledge of vendors, while keeping our wants in mind. She helped us stay on track with securing everything during our touch bases and was always available when we reached out. The week leading up to our wedding was stress-free thanks to all of the preplanning and advice Kellie prepped us with. With it being a destination wedding, she made us feel welcome and helped us despite the 4+ travel. I would recommend Kellie to any bride looking to make their vision come to life!

We love Kellie!!! From the very beginning, we chose her because of her intimate knowledge of the area. She was able to smooth over all rough edges and challenges with vendors, personalities, what ever. She filled in the gaps where ever they presented themselves. Her presence gave an added calm to both myself and my daughter so we could enjoy the flow of the day. She runs a no drama operation. If we had to do it again, we would hire Kellie a second time!!

I initially met Kellie when she planned my daughter in law and son's wedding last year. I was very impressed so it was easy to choose her to plan my daughter's wedding a year later. I cannot say enough positive things about Kellie Ryan. She was amazing throughout the entire planning process and execution of our daughter's recent wedding/reception at Ocean Forest. Kellie is a very good listener and worked tirelessly to accomplish our vision ...... even when most of what we wanted to source "didn't exist"! That did not keep her from searching extensively and providing many different options. I like efficiency and organization and she certainly checked both of those boxes. We communicated regularly and I found her to always be very well prepared. If she promised something - she always delivered. While meeting and often exceeding our expectations, she managed to work within our budget. Kellie has a great reputation and has formed strong relationships with the vendors we worked with including Cameron and his team at Ocean Forest, Andrea at Gray Harper, Kelli Boyd photographer , Katie at Beachview Rentals, and Andrew at McCoy event professionals. My husband and I continue to say that we would not change a thing about the entire wedding weekend. I enjoyed my time spent with Kellie and am thankful we have developed a lasting friendship through this process. If our youngest daughter chooses to be married in Sea Island, we will definitely choose Kellie again.

Kellie planned my brother's wedding March '23 and we were fortunate to work with her again for our wedding March '24. It was the perfect weekend and none of it would have been possible without her. She was the backbone to the entire process and throughout the weekend. She saw every single detail through to the very end. Wedding planning isn't for the weak and she knocked it all out of the park! She is organized, sets clear and manageable timelines, sent us gentle reminders when needed and has incredible relationships with vendors. We had a clear vision from the start and she made it come to life. We are beyond grateful for her and will never be able to thank her enough!

Kellie was an integral part of our daughter's wedding plans, and we were so fortunate to have found Kellie early in our planning. She guided us all through the entire process and brought her no-nonsense and practical advice to the table always. We had weekly meetings (via zoom), which kept us moving forward all year. Kellie was an absolute joy to work with. She is organized, practical, kind, and empathetic. She was a HUGE help in planning our August 2023 wedding in Saint Simons and Sea Island, GA. She helped organize our timeline, our vendors, our guests, and ensured that the wedding day was a wonderful success. We had almost a year of meetings and planning with Kellie and she began to feel like a friend! I cannot recommend Kellie more and wish we could do it all over again!

She assumed the role of planner, project manager, designer, shoulder to lean on, pep talker, logistical coordinator, and most of all, friend. I simply could not have gotten through planning or the wedding day itself without her. Because Kellie has an impressive professional background, including working as the wedding manager at our venue (Sea Island), she came with an abundance of insider knowledge and connections. This allowed her to act as a mediator as well, communicating our needs and questions perfectly, and teaching all of us involved about what makes a wedding happen. Kellie was also very cognizant of our budget and every dollar spent. She gave us a reality check when needed, but worked (and succeeded) in making our big wants happen within budget. Our entire day went off without a hitch, not one, and if there was something that went wrong, she and her amazing coordinators likely protected us from it! My parents and husband equally adored working with and getting to know Kellie, and we cannot wait to keep in touch with her for years to come. We began our wedding journey as just that, a journey away from home for a destination wedding in St. Simons Island. With our busy work schedules and unfamiliarity with the vendors of the area, we knew that we wanted to hire a wedding planner from the beginning so that we could enjoy our engagement and the planning process. I searched on The Knot and found Kellie Ryan Designs and was initially drawn to her based off of her portfolio. After reaching out initially she promptly responded and we had an infamous phone conversation that ended with my husband saying “did we just become best friends.” He wasn’t wrong. Our initial conversation focused on our priorities for our wedding (we wanted an epic party and a weekend for many first time visitors to SSI to remember). Kellie got right to work sending us several great venues, and we travelled a couple of weeks later to see them with her- I was impressed immediately with our visit itinerary she created which I eventually realized is how she approaches everything wedding related to keep everyone and everything organized. As we worked through the planning process Kellie guided us with ease by recommending vendors that she thought we would vibe with. She has a great rapport with everyone she works with on the island, and I truly felt that this made such a difference in securing vendors and ensuring good communication with them. When she helped me with the design process I was in awe of what she was able to come up with. She keeps note of so many small details that contribute to the design process. We did another visit about six months out that she coordinated meetings with hair/makeup, tastings, rentals, florist, and venue walk through. In the final couple of months leading up to the wedding she keeps you on task by utilizing the Aisle Planner platform. This was a great way to check off a to-do list, and also a very easy way to complete RSVPs, seating charts, and food selections. It also keeps track of your budget which we found very helpful as well. The unforeseen events that came up along the way were dealt with quickly, easily, and professionally with Kellie’s help. She has a calming demeanor that is essential for planning a day that can easily elicit high anxiety. On the day of the wedding, Kellie had everything on a minute by minute itinerary with several moving parts. Everything went off without a hitch, and the best part was that I did not have to worry about anything besides walking down the aisle to marry my best friend and having a great time.. We had the best day of our lives on our wedding day in the most beautiful setting, and Kellie was an essential part of that. We can’t thank her enough, and have heard from several of our guests that our wedding was the best that they will ever be at. Kelly and her team is so wonderful to work with and perfect at what they do. I felt so blessed and lucky to be able to work with her especially in the time frame she was thrown in to. Planning a destination wedding in approximately 4 months with a guest list of 300+ people is no easy task but Kelly Ryan Designs pulled it off flawlessly. What I loved most about Kelly was her attention to detail and that our relationship with her was just easy- she made things feel calm when they were not always that way! Kellie is an amazing wedding planner! Kellie provided solid advice to my daughter as she navigated SO many decisions. And when there were snags (e.g., unsatisfactory hotel linens) she provided alternatives and kept us moving forward. She communicated with all vendors and made sure our special day ran seamlessly. Kellie was super helpful as I navigating planning my wedding celebration from out of state! She was patient throughout my many questions on phone calls and emails and highly responsive. She offered great insight and was a genuine pleasure to work with!

Kellie took care of absolutely every single detail of my son and daughter in laws wedding. We were out of town so having her expertise to guide us and help us navigate St Simons and Sea Island was of the utmost importance. She knew everyone to call for every aspect of the wedding and was an immense help from the hotel room blocks, coordinating our transportation, to the people to call for music at the cocktail hour of our reception. Using Kellie as our wedding planner was the best decision I have ever made. She truly made the wedding process such a breeze. She was professional, organized and a wealth of knowledge. When we moved our wedding for the third time due to COVID, Kellie took initiative and replanned everything! During such a stressful year, Kellie supported us with countless phone calls and email check in's. I have never connected with a planner so much in my life. I can't recommend her enough! Kellie did an excellent job at planning our wedding! We had our wedding back in November and we did the month of package. Kellie went above and beyond for us! She was always there for us when we had any questions or concerns. She is very knowledgeable at what she does, very organized, and is ontop of everything! It was a huge relief to have someone you can depend on to help make sure our big day goes smoothly as possible! Our wedding was suppose to be an outside wedding, but then it rained right before the ceremony was about to start. And Kellie did an excellent job moving everything inside the barn and making it look just as beautiful as what we imagined it to be! Everything went so smoothly! Kellie is a DREAM! We booked her for our big day and it was one of the best decisions we made. We had her for day of wedding coordination based on our budget, but if we would have had more wiggle room I would have booked her All In package to plan the entire event. She is very knowledgeable in the industry and was able to provide helpful solutions and alternative suggestions when problems would arise. She was able to navigate each very well and keep us on track, on time, and within budget throughout the planning process. She made the entire experience smooth and as stress free as possible. She's laid back, organized, and wonderful to work with! If you are debating on hiring a coordinator, I HIGHLY recommend Kellie and will tell you in advance it is so worth it!

Kellie was fabulous! She was our day-of (month-of) planner and I couldn't have done it without her. I'm a graphic designer and always knew that I wanted to coordinate most of my wedding myself, but knew I couldn't do it all alone, especially when it came to setting up on the day of. With the help of my amazing bridesmaids we handed over all our DIY decorations and !!POOF!!, all of our intricate details magically came together beautifully. I didn't have to worry about the stress of putting it all together that morning, or running around juggling vendors, Kellie had it all covered. And, bonus, she just happens to be a pleasure to work with! Kellie is friendly and punctual and organized - 3 musts when dealing with a wedding. She put up with my procrastination and crazy ideas. Kellie is always prepared and on time. The wedding wouldn't have been the same without her. Her expertise and assistance on all things small and large made her valuable beyond measure. We had a glitch with the cake and she stepped in to fix it before I even know there was an issue, she had it fixed. I highly recommend her services and she is as delightful as she is professional :-)

When I got engaged, I wasn't sure if I was going to hire a planner. My budget was tight and I'd heard of other brides saving money by planning on their own. As time went on, I realized that I needed professional guidance and my vision could not be complete on my own and that is how I found Kellie.
