Kelly Kennedy was easily the BEST hire among our entire team of incredible wedding vendors. First of all, her package as a month-of coordinator is an absolute steal for the invaluable guidance and expertise she provides. I am an avid planner by nature, so I prided myself on planning a majority of our wedding, but Kelly was there every step of the way when I had big or small questions. Not to mention, she is an absolute joy to work with; and she was so kind putting up with my OCD and control-freak ways :) Secondly, when I say she shouldered the entire burden of stress on our wedding day, it's no exaggeration. There was an actual tornado 6 miles away right after our ceremony ended, and she made sure I was last to know (and freak out) about the weather's impending doom all day. She re-arranged the entire venue floorplan so that everyone would be comfortably under overhangs during the rain storm that began during what would have been cocktail hour; she coordinated with our caterer to serve dinner an entire HOUR early; and she had to adjust the timeline completely on the fly for first dance, etc. In the end, it helped make our day more enjoyable in the moment and I would not change a thing. But the only glue that kept the day (and me!) from completely unravelling was Kelly Kennedy. She is simultaneously a ray of sunshine and a bad ass. She truly saved the day and made it the best day of my husband and I's life -- and so many of our guests have told us it's the best wedding they've ever been to! All of that is a credit to Kelly, and we could not be more thankful for her guidance throughout the entire wedding planning process and her leadership the day of the wedding. Kelly is a rockstar! She constantly checked in with us throughout the entire process and made sure everything leading up to the wedding was perfect. On the day of the wedding she was on top of everything. We felt 100% at easy that everything would be handled and my day was perfect due to her amazing planning.

I chose to hire Kelly Kennedy Events as my day of coordinator because everyone I spoke with raved about how she was the absolute best so I booked her a year before my wedding date in August. In short, Kelly informed me that she was pregnant one month before my wedding date and was due at any moment. At this time, she never said that there was a possibility that she would be unable to coordinate my wedding. She ended up having her baby and informed me 3 days before my wedding date that she would be unable to coordinate my wedding. In return she sent her parents to coordinate my entire wedding. Sadly, my wedding day was a complete mess and my husband and I are out $1600 for day of coordination we did not receive. When I addressed the issue with Kelly, she blamed every issue on everyone else besides herself or her parents. Sadly, Kelly cares less about her brides and more about making a buck, even if that means sacrificing your wedding day for it.
