Kelly Kennedy was easily the BEST hire among our entire team of incredible wedding vendors.
First of all, her package as a month-of coordinator is an absolute steal for the invaluable guidance and expertise she provides. I am an avid planner ...by nature, so I prided myself on planning a majority of our wedding, but Kelly was there every step of the way when I had big or small questions. Not to mention, she is an absolute joy to work with; and she was so kind putting up with my OCD and control-freak ways :)
Secondly, when I say she shouldered the entire burden of stress on our wedding day, it's no exaggeration. There was an actual tornado 6 miles away right after our ceremony ended, and she made sure I was last to know (and freak out) about the weather's impending doom all day. She re-arranged the entire venue floorplan so that everyone would be comfortably under overhangs during the rain storm that began during what would have been cocktail hour; she coordinated with our caterer to serve dinner an entire HOUR early; and she had to adjust the timeline completely on the fly for first dance, etc. In the end, it helped make our day more enjoyable in the moment and I would not change a thing. But the only glue that kept the day (and me!) from completely unravelling was Kelly Kennedy.
She is simultaneously a ray of sunshine and a bad ass. She truly saved the day and made it the best day of my husband and I's life -- and so many of our guests have told us it's the best wedding they've ever been to! All of that is a credit to Kelly, and we could not be more thankful for her guidance throughout the entire wedding planning process and her leadership the day of the wedding.
