Kelly and her team are elite. I am still in awe at the wedding weekend they created! Every one of my dreams and my partner's needs came to life, and I never wanted the weekend (or the party) to end.
First and foremost, Kelly made me feel like more than just a client from the very moment we got on the phone. She made me comfortable like you'd feel just speaking with a good friend, and I knew she was listening to everything I was looking for in our planner and wedding. We had come into the process with her after already obtaining a venue and a few vendors, having realized we were in over our heads trying to plan this. She took over as a full-service planner immediately.
Kelly helped us connect with top vendors in the area and arrange contracts swiftly, and we were able to be confident in our selections. We got the best team together! Calls with Kelly were organized, and the "homework" she assigned allowed me to make important decisions with ease and no regrets or waffling. She was always able to answer questions and keep us on track.
When Hurricane Ian hit, the Fort Myers/Captiva area was devastated. We watched anxiously from afar as we realized our original venue in Captiva was no longer in any condition to host our January wedding. Despite having no electricity or water and with a practically non-existent cell signal, Kelly wasted no time in reaching out to reassure us that she was ON A MISSION to make sure our wedding would still happen, despite the tragedy. Within days, she had found us a new venue that was PERFECT in the Sanibel Harbour Marriott, and she arranged the contracts and notified all our vendors about the new location while we still maintained our original date! In that moment, there was no question, Kelly was invaluable. She was worth her weight in platinum, and then some.
She helped us re-do all our decisions. She reassured me that all the new changes to the carefully crafted wedding plan would come together beautifully. At this point, she had also hired Nicholas. The pair ensured every detail was managed, and his logistical execution paired with Kelly's design allowed for a gorgeous wedding landscape. They handled every little snag along the way, and were always a text or call away. They organized everything down to the minute. No stone was left unturned.
When wedding weekend came, they were on site at almost all times. They executed a gorgeous rehearsal dinner and a beautiful welcome reception that our guests adored. Kelly and Nicholas ensured I could focus on enjoying the party and my guests, and any time I needed anything, they were there, while still taking care of to prepare the ballroom for the reception the next night.
On wedding day, things were stunning and seamless. The vendors were all on time and everything was set up without me having to be involved. Her vendor team executed beautifully. The design Kelly had shown me came to life in a more stunning manner than I could have ever imagined. The ceremony went perfectly, with every detail covered. Our guests loved every minute of it. Dinner and the reception were unbelievable - if only that night could last forever! We were obsessed, and our guests are now ruined for all other weddings. We didn't lift a finger the whole weekend, and my husband and I are so blessed to have work with Kelly and her team. We are going to absolutely miss them!
There's no question about it, hire Kelly to plan, design, and coordinate your wedding. You will never regret it.
Seriously...just stop what you're doing and book with Kelly right now! She is a TRUE professional and is amazing at what she does. Her attention to detail, communication, and execution is unmatched. She knows the right people and places to get it done. She is more than respectful of your budget and works very closely with you along the way. Wedding planning was not stressful whatsoever, and she made sure of that. Kelly wants you to have the best experience possible, and will do anything to achieve that! What more could you ask for? :)

Kelly is an amazing wedding planner and I would highly recommend using her! She navigated us through a date change and many other obstacles, and was always reliable and able to problem solve efficiently. Her relationship with local vendors in Naples is invaluable, and she put together such an amazing team to make our wedding day a huge success. She was also a comforting voice of reason throughout the planning process. I cannot recommend her enough!
My husband and I were sadly very effected by the Covid-19 virus. Our wedding had to postponed then eventually canceled due to our PA travel restrictions and the financial investment. We decided we could not go through with it with such uncertainty on what the next few months would bring. I had already planned the entire wedding myself and simply wanted Kelly to coordinate the day of. We had about a 30 min phone call and told her all I had done then paid her $2200 for her services (which again only included day of coordination). 6 months ago we decided to just cancel it and requested a partial refund considering the circumstances. Kelly has yet to give us a dime back. I understand contracts were signed, but I believe in business ethics, and for her to take so much money from my family and have rendered NO SERVICES, except for holding a date for a few months during a pandemic, is absolutely ridiculous. Then to tell me she will no longer communicate with me and send me nasty emails after all my family as been through is just insane. “Heartless” comes to mind. I would highly recommended anyone else if you want to be handled with care on your wedding day.
I hired Kelly one month before my wedding to coordinate day-of and my only regret is not hiring her sooner. WOW! Kelly seriously has her stuff together (my husband affectionately calls her kick-a** Kelly). I consider myself an organized person, but Kelly’s attention to detail is next-level. She came with me to a final venue walk-through and whenever I wasn’t sure about a decision, I knew I could look to her for advice. She lets her brides exercise their creativity, but is there to guide you in the right direction. The day of our wedding, I hardly had to think about any planning or execution, because Kelly and her assistant were making sure it was done before I even asked. They anticipated everyone’s needs and took care of things I never would have thought of. Apparently it rained briefly right before I walked down the aisle. I was blissfully unaware inside while Kelly moved my guests under an overhang, wiped down the chairs, and started the ceremony on time. She’s an angel you need overseeing your wedding. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a coordinator, but would really urge you to not make the same mistake I did and hire her early on to plan and design everything, too!
Kelly FLAWLESSLY created our dream day! From day one she was extremely attentive, monitored every last detail, and put my mind at ease every step of the way! Our entire ceremony was so thoughtful and every single moment happened PERFECTLY! She literally thought of everything! Aside from choosing by husband, Kelly was the best choice we made on our wedding day!
Working with Kelly and Brittany was the best decision that we made in the entire planning process. From key venders to incredible organization they had it covered. Planning a destination wedding is no easy feat, even if you know the location like the back of your hand. Kelly and her team made the entire process easy and fun. If you're looking for someone to walk you through the process, understand your vision, and answer calls and emails with lightening speed Kelly is your girl. I can literally not say enough positive things about working together and the entire wedding weekend turned out beyond our wildest dreams.
Where do I even begin writing this?? Stop your search and look no further! Kelly is simply the BEST. Kelly was a DREAM to work with. Planning our wedding with her was simply the highlight of my days for the last year! From the moment we first spoke on the phone I just knew that she was the wedding planner for us. Little did I know that soon Kelly would become not just a planner, but a friend. Kelly was there to answer every e-mail, every text, every question, every concern from the very start. She put my mind at ease whenever I worried about any detail of the wedding. She helped me pick out the very best possible "team" to make our wedding day magical. She gave me advice and recommendations, helped keep cost down, and simply put her ALL into making our wedding dreams a reality. Being a destination bride, I have no idea what I would have done without her! When the wedding week came around, Kelly had everything under control without me even knowing! She contacted every single vendor and made sure that everything was in order for a successful wedding day. When rehearsal day came around, and I was 200 miles away from home, I thought I had left behind a box full of essentials for the wedding day. Kelly gracefully told me not to worry and that she would take care of it all. Luckily the box turned out to be in the car, but Kelly had already gone and bought the stuff that we needed. (Who else does that?!) When our special day arrived, she was Wonder Woman, Super Woman, and every superhero out there all wrapped into one! Every single one of our guests complimented on how efficient, professional, courteous, and talented Kelly is! Every detail, every aspect of our wedding day was a fairytale, and I know that it could not have been that way without Kelly McWilliams. So, Kelly, I can't possibly express how GRATEFUL I am for you through a review, but I hope you know it. You truly are the BEST and I will miss you so very much! XOXOXO
I cannot Say enough about Kelly McWilliams! We are so grateful we found her! Initially, I had decided that I did not need a wedding planner. I knew what I wanted and had 2 years to plan my big day. However, just a few months away from the wedding - my mother suggested that I ask for some help coordinating the final details. She was right! I had managed to plan a very ambitious event that required a lot of details, set up, and execution.
We were so lucky Kelly was available for our date. She is a true expert on all things wedding, and her passion for making your fairytale a reality is nothing short of amazing. She took my ideas, even the impossible ones, and streamlined them into something better than I could have ever imagined. Planning with her was so fun, and she took all the stress and anxiety away! She delivered with every one of my nitpicky requests and supplied awesome and creative solutions to issues that couldn’t resolve on my own.
During our wedding weekend, she was a superwoman. I still don’t know how she managed with all the things we threw at her. She was everywhere at once and anywhere we needed her to be, always with a bright smile on her face. We literally unloaded a truckload of boxes for her to set up on the day of the wedding, and she took care of everything. She even handled my family with finesse and diplomacy, which can be tricky… The whole weekend was flawless and perfect, and thanks to her I was able to enjoy every second of it!
They really did! I cannot say enough kind words about the amazing planning Weddings by Socialites did for us. We were planning a destination wedding- so we were not there to over see all of the details, the ladies at Weddings made it so easy for us. Kelly and her staff are well known in the area and well thought of amoung vendors, so they were able to get discounts and amazing vendors for us. They suggested great ideas, and never skipped a beat when we asked for some crazy special details for our day ( we had an Italian Parade, cigar roller, etc). I called the office often and I was never met with anything but enthusiasm and excitement on the other end of the phone...even if I had already called three times earlier in the day. The day of the ceremony, they were right there to make sure every detail was perfect. Honestly, I would never have been able to pull of an event like this without their guidence, support, and expertise. I am forever grateful for the special day they gave us and for the friendships made with the staff at Weddings by Socialites. If you are thinking of a wedding in South West Florida- these are the right people for the job! Thank you Kelly and Staff for the amazing day.
