Kelly was the absolute best. We are from Ohio so we relied heavily on her expertise for my daughter’s wedding in Nola. Right from the first phone call we knew we were in good hands. We traveled to the city and Kelly had everything organized to see venues. It was effortless. Throughout the planning it was always easy to communicate through phone calls, texts and emails. We wanted a traditional New Orleans wedding with a second line parade and Kelly delivered. On the day of the wedding, we had a detailed timeline so it was stress free. From the Herman-Grima House to Broussards…it was a perfect day. Kelly even held off the rain..😘. Olivia and Tommy’s wedding was just perfect. Kelly was the perfect wedding planner for our wedding day! We got married in June of 2024, and Kelly was a total professional badass from Day 1. Immediately upon contracting, she was clear and concise about what needed to be done. She met with me multiple times, and she was always available to answer a quick question or be a sounding board for ideas. Kelly also gave great insight on how we could make the day run as smoothly as possible. With a large family on both sides, my groom and I were nervous about wrangling all of our family for photos and keeping everyone in a timeline. Kelly was on top of it the entire day, and it took so much stress off of us. I also wanted Kelly to take the lead on the design choices for the reception design because I wanted to be surprised by the final results. Kelly took everything we discussed and brought it to life in an incredible way. The final result was above and beyond anything I had imagined. I cannot imagine what our wedding day would have looked like without Kelly there to lead the way. We couldn’t be more thankful! 💕

Kelly was everything and more! She made me confident she could handle anything I wanted from our first phone call. Every time we spoke, she answered my questions with ease and eliminated all of my worries. Wedding weekend, we had not a care in the world with Kelly handling absolutely everything. STOP READING REVIEWS AND JUST HIRE HER ALREADY! Most of my family lives in NOLA, except for me, who lives out of state now! But when I started planning my wedding, I knew I wanted it to be in NOLA with all of the NOLA traditions. I contacted several upscale venues and asked who they recommended for wedding planning, and Kelly was on all of their lists-and for good reason. From the time of our initial call until after the wedding, Kelly was professional, courteous, and efficient. She responded to all my calls and emails immediately and made all of my wants happen-which included getting picked up by a horse and carriage. on bourbon street. on a Saturday night. But she did it! She never made me feel like what I wanted was unreasonable or not possible. She kept in the budget I gave her and knew all of the best vendors in town and also got us some great deals. I could not imagine planning this wedding without her and I would encourage everyone reading this to stop reading and call her already and get her booked. Hiring Kelly was the best investment I made for this wedding and it will be for you as well.

My husband and I hired Kelly as a day of/month of planner as we had all of our vendors and the venue decided, but knew absolutely nothing about the expectations and etiquette that's typically involved and are not from NOLA, making it difficult to plan remotely. We chose the consulting and ceremony option, and she was instrumental in ensuring everything ran smoothly, between creating our schedule, coordinating between vendors on our behalf, and simplifying how we handled costs. She gave great advice on positioning of the ceremony to optimize safety (it was an outdoor wedding in the evening) as well as lighting and ambiance. BOOK. HER. NOW! To whomever is reading this, let me give you some context.... My now-wife and I located a venue in ~Oct 2022, to get married October 2023. Yes, we gave ourselves 12 months to plan a wedding in NOLA while living in Chicago. Woof. Both my wife and I have pretty demanding careers and ridiculous schedules. Simply put: 12 months is not a lot of time to plan the wedding of a lifetime, and we had even less time on a daily basis to do "stuff". We both decided, "We don't just need a wedding planner, we need THE wedding planner". And after countless online searches, word-of-mouth recommendations, Instagram lurking and harassing our friends who got married within the last 6 months... We found THE Kelly Sherlock. further, out of all of her services she provides, the two most important ones are (1) Peace of Mind that everything is going to be perfect and (2) Guarantee that she will Get. Stuff. Done. After our first meeting with Kelly, it was evident that Kelly was our person. Note: We chose a combo of consulting and event management, and Kelly did the d*mn thing! 3 Quick highlights... 1) She incredibly handled coordination with our vendors, i.e. once we had vendors and started payment schedules, we didn't have to worry about a thing! Not only that, but she has incredible relationships with most / all NOLA vendors to where—when we were trying to nail down vendors—the moment we mentioned that THE Kelly Sherlock was our planner, they unanimously agreed and commented that we made the best choice possible. 2) Day of Planning: She made sure everyone was punctual, on-time, and the roles and responsibilities were clear. She was with us during those special moments, she corralled the wedding party, which was very much needed, and she gave us such impactful, relevant and timely information on what to expect. As a Financial / Business Consultant myself, her skills were IMPECCABLE. 3) Most importantly y'all (you readers), Kelly's leadership and guidance ENSURED THAT MY WIFE AND I COULD REMAIN PRESENT during our day. For my Grooms reading this, to put it in football terms... She was defense for us when my wife and I had to get from point A to point B through a sea of people wanting pictures; she was Quarterback for us when we needed to ensure all of our people were in the right place at right time; she was our Receiver and ensured that any handoffs or anything 'thrown' at us last minute was caught and captured. And she was Head Coach to ensure that even the opposing team (being the potential risk / issues that could arise) were squashed before evening becoming a "thing". She also played a GM / scouting role in helping us review contract terms and often times spotting out clauses / terms that we should ask about or add/remove to ensure our budget was protected (like an all-pro Offensive lineman). So because she thought of everything (from flower placement, square footage required from vendors, time of day for pictures, etc.) we had to think 'very little' and could just focus on each other We could write on and on about Kelly, but I think I'm running out of characters, so I'll end with this: Everyone has the goal of a perfect wedding, but very few have a perfect plan. So when you are considering making your perfect day perfect, get the perfect [wedding] planner. And that perfect planner is THE Kelly Sherlock.

Kelly was amazing. We were planning a smaller wedding in New Orleans as two out of towners and we were lost. We didn’t know who we should choose for vendors. How the logistics of our wedding would work. How does one get parade permits for a second line? That’s when Lexi found Kelly and immediately Kelly helped put Lexi’s worries to rest. Kelly walked us through every step. She recommended us a few vendors which were great. Several of her vendor recommendations saved us thousands over vendors we thought we were going to use. Our wedding was beyond perfect! It exceeded our best expectations. Kelly is a huge reason we got to enjoy a truly dream wedding!
