since age five, nor was I a bride from the Mid-South area with family close by. Instead, I was a very busy bride, who was part of an even busier couple, whose family lives on the west coast, and who had absolutely no idea where (or how) to start the wedding-planning process! I found Kelsey through Instagram, and instantly felt calm once I scrolled her page and read through her gorgeous website. I had a feeling that Kelsey was the wedding planner for us from the start, but she only reinforced that notion when she got back to us almost instantly after we reached out. And once I met Kelsey at Starbucks (yum), we clicked instantly, and I knew she was the perfect choice! What followed were some of the greatest—and calmest—12+ months of wedding planning that I could have ever imagined. Kelsey understood our vision from day one (sometimes better than I did), and she actively listened to us as she steered us towards everything from the most perfect florist, wedding cake, decor, and more, and she even joined me to pick out (and try on!) bridesmaid dresses! She navigated having an incredibly busy, sometimes non-responsive couple with nothing but poise, grace, and sheer amounts of patience and understanding; went out of her way to accommodate our busy schedules and the west coast time difference; tackled our fickle (and sometimes very last minute) decision making with an unheard of level of serenity professionalism; embraced all of our non-traditional decisions; and expertly coordinated all of the added difficulties that come with having an early afternoon wedding at one venue followed by an evening reception at a second venue. Because of Kelsey, not only was everything leading up to the wedding perfect, but our wedding day went off without a hitch, our reception events transitioned seamlessly, and everything was just magical. Kelsey was the calm in the storm of wedding planning, and we truly cannot express how much we owe every detail of our dream day to Kelsey and her incredible team. Our friends and family have told us repeatedly that it was the nicest wedding they have ever attended, which is 100% a testament to Kelsey’s professionalism, work ethic, artistry, and sheer talent at understanding and bringing to life her client’s vision. If you want a calm, enjoyable wedding planning experience followed by the most well-coordinated, beautiful, and wonderful first day of the rest of your life, Kelsey is your girl. We are still on cloud nine nearly three months later, and it is all because of Kelsey.

Futhermore, she was great at operating in a crisis. The power went out in our venue a few hours before the ceremony, and she handled all the issues and resolved the problem. The wedding was still perfect despite the challenges she faced. Would absolutely recommend Kelsey to anyone.

need help. I hired Kelsey in February 2019, we decided my colors and theme and planned on a May 2020 wedding. Then the world stopped 😭 — we had to postpone not once but TWICE. THAT’S THREE WEDDING DATES. And my girl, Kelsey, didn’t miss a dang beat. She handled all of our vendors with rescheduling (again, I reiterate three separate dates!) and smoothing everything over without even a peep from me. She handled it all with grace and patience and was there for me (all the way in Vermont!) to vent to whenever I needed. She is an absolute ANGEL that God sent me because He knew that I would need her during this time!! I could text her at 10AM on a Tuesday or at 1AM on a Saturday with thoughts/worries and she’d respond as quickly as possible. She took my vision board and created the MOST PERFECT WEDDING. It was my absolute fairy tale wedding! She nailed down every tiny detail that I had in mind for our day. There were ample decisions that she took charge and filled me in later — she was like the extension of my own brain! She’s so quick to understand what you want and how to fit it in your budget. I absolutely never had to worry about my budget being off or my dream being off — she’s a miracle worker! My husband and I truly still talk about how blessed we are to know her and call her a friend now. She’s probably even more like family if I’m being honest. She was always available to chat, always put my worries at ease, and DELIVERED!! I’d plan a wedding all over again just to have her by my side!! Best decision I ever made was calling her at the beginning of my wedding journey!

When only a few months before the wedding we completely changed our plans and decided to host a small ceremony and dinner in my parents' backyard this year, and move our large reception to next fall, Kelsey didn't skip a beat. She not only moved our contract for day of coordination to next year without hesitation, but offered to help out with the small ceremony this year as well. She truly went above and beyond. I promised her it would be an easy day, and from all the work we saw her put in, I know it wasn't. She worried about everything so we didn't have to. From figuring out how to best use the space in my parents' backyard, to turning a Halloween tablecloth in my mom's linen closet into a useable black tablecloth for a bar, to running music since we didn't have a DJ (don't get any ideas, this was a huge favor she agreed to), to making sure we were sitting next to the right people without a seating chart and had drinks in our hands when we needed them, to teaching us how to cut a wedding cake, and to doing dishes in my parents' kitchen at the end of the night, she completely took care of us all day long. We can't wait to work with her again next year for the reception, because we know the day will be beautiful and run smoothly with her help. If you're looking for somebody to help with your wedding, look no further. You can't do better than Kelsey.
