We worked with Jessica and would work with her again in a heart beat. The venue was perfect for a summer wedding in July. The food was so good and they accommodated our family’s food allergies. Our planning process was 100% stress free when working with Jessica….she knows her stuff. Couldn’t have had a more perfect reception!

We had a wonderful experience hosting our wedding reception at Kemper Lakes Golf Club! Jessica and the Kemper team were so great to work with. Jessica walked us through each step and decision needed and was very prompt in answering my many questions. The venue is beautiful and the bar room was perfect for cocktail hour and our Photo Booth during the reception. We had so many complements on the food - the steak medallions and chicken piccata were cooked perfectly! Thank you Jessica for helping make our day so amazing!

Jessica was AMAZING to work with! She was so knowledgeable and made everything stress-free! The day of, the staff was quick and so helpful! The venue itself is gorgeous and we had so many compliments about it. If you're looking for a close venue that feels like it is remote, this is your place! The food was also delicious, and all our guests agreed! It was all so perfect! Highly recommend!

Kemper Lakes was the perfect spot for our ceremony and reception! Jessica was so helpful and responsive from start to finish of the wedding planning process and was very accommodating to our needs. Our day was everything we hoped it would be and more and Kemper made it picture perfect! So happy with our decision to have our wedding at Kemper!

I had my rehearsal, ceremony, and reception all at Kemper Lakes. I could not be more thankful to Jessica Trzop for all of her hard work and helpfulness during the journey! Jessica really helped my husband and I with some financial issues we had to start and she definitely was very accommodating to any special request we had! She is the best!! We actually had two food tastings because my husband lives in Canada so he only had a certain time gram he could do the tasting in and a second one because they changed their head chef and Jessica wanted to make sure we knew what we’re getting. Jessica was always there when I had a random question, best to reach her by email! She had all the bright answers for us when we had no idea how to plan the wedding ourselves. She literally was like my low key wedding planner. I couldn’t say thank you enough! My husband, myself, his best man, his dad, and his best mana brother all went golfing ay Kemper the Thursday before the wedding and it was such a beautiful course but and even more beautiful site for he ceremony! In front of the water under weeping willows with a fountain in the backdrop. It was a dream! The cocktail hour was in the terrace looking over the water and it was just perfect! The reception was indoors in this room with high wood ceiling a and covered with window looking over the water! Honestly the food was such a highlight of the night! Soooooo many compliments on the food choices we had! 100% would recommend Kemper Lakes for any wedding looking for romance and fun!! Shout out to Jessica for making it the best night of our lives!

Kemper Lakes was such a great reception venue! Jessica was wonderful to work with and was very responsive when it came to answering our questions. We had many guests comment on how beautiful the cocktail hour was--the golf course and pond were a great backdrop for the evening. We couldn't have asked for a better venue.

Kemper was the perfect place for my wedding. Ceremony and reception all in the same place as well as having them provide the food and drinks made everything run so smooth. Jessica there was so easy to work with and she helped keep everything in order through the rain to set up my outdoor wedding and even helped fluff up my dress right before walking down the aisle. All in all it was a beautiful venue and a great team to work with.

Our reception was beautiful and everything went even better than planned! Jessica was great to work with - always quick to respond and willing to help. The food was great and the staff was very accommodating. We could not have asked for a better venue!

We were recently at a wedding there and it was the most disorganized I have ever been to. There were not enough chairs at the ceremony site and no one available to ask for more. There was supposed to be a golf cart available for guests that couldn't walk to the site. We had to run around searching for Jessica to get one. She was nowhere around for most all of the day or evening. The food was absolutely the worst wedding food I have ever had. Very sparce appetizers, Salads with little to no dressing, horrible chicken, and the vegetable pasta dish was rubber noodles with no sauce and a few roasted tomatoes. I would tell other brides to make sure they have a person to co-ordinate their day because Jessica did not do her job on the day.

Jessica was absolutely amazing to work with! She was so prompt if I had a question or something to check up on and always made sure to keep me in the loop on anything that was going on. We had the best time at Kemper, from the ceremony under the Willow trees, to the popcorn machine at the end of the night, everyone was raving about how perfect it was and how beautiful the venue was!

We couldn't have asked for a better experience at Kemper Lakes. The outdoor setting and indoor banquet room was convenient, elegant and well organized. Jessica, the wedding coordinator was fantastic. She provided great advice and helped us every step of the way to make our day exactly what we wanted and stress free. We felt at ease with her leadership and flexibility. The venue is centrally located to a lot of hotels and restaurants for guests too!

Kemper Lakes was a beautiful place to have my wedding reception! Jessica was amazing to work with, she was very accommodating and quick to respond. All my guests loved the food - they are still talking about it! Unfortunatly, before and during my reception it rained so the outdoor bar/cocktail hour was moved inside (which actually worked out for the best), but Jessica was making sure I was okay and not freaking out over the rain. Although I was not able to take pictures on the golf carts or other areas of the golf course, it was still beautiful right outside of the room. I highly recommend Kemper Lakes to anyone wanting a beautiful place to celebrate your marriage with staff that want that day to be special for you!

The venue was perfect. We wanted to drape ceiling in the reception area and they were completely accommodating and it looked beautiful. The food was fantastic, the wait staff was great, and the bartenders kept the drinks flowing. We could not have asked for a more beautiful wedding or reception. Jessica was very helpful, prompt and informative. She kept us on track and up to date on what we needed to do. She was great at coordinating everyone during the planning process and on the day of the wedding. It was our perfect start to happily ever after!

After visiting 17 different venues in the Chicago area (across Cook and Lake counties), Kemper Lakes was the clear standout both in quality and value. The venue was extremely picturesque (both outside for the ceremony and inside for the reception), and lent itself wonderfully to photos. The reception area is both elegant and spacious, requiring very little extra decoration in order to feel special. Outdoors, there are plenty of gardens and a ceremony space by a lake where you can get married between two willow trees. The package deal of ceremony, catering, cake, bar, linens, equipment, etc. proved to be an exceptional value. Jessica, who is the event coordinator at Kemper Lakes, responded to each of our emails within minutes, met with us several times, and allowed us to customize our ceremony and reception as much as we wanted. She significantly brought down our stress levels during the entire process; she was all-around a pleasure to work with.

We had out wedding at Kemper Lakes this past weekend (8/16/14) and it was amazing. I have nothing but good things to say about the venue itself, and especially the staff. They were more than helpful from the day I inquired about open dates, until the last person was out the door on the day of our wedding. Jessica was the easiest person to work with throughout the entire process. Even though I had some last minute requests and changes, she was able to accommodate them to every last detail. A major plus was that she answered all of my emails withing 12-24 hours of getting them, most of the time sooner, even when I knew she was not in the office. I could not have imagined a better experience. I have had guests calling me for days raving about the food, service, and atmosphere. They decorated with several tea light candles around the room (a major plus, especially once it got dark). The outside patio was a great perk, and we were given the option of putting a bar out there, which guests loved. Jessica was available when I arrived after my ceremony and had taken care of everything before I was there. I would also suggest using the DJ that was recommended by Kemper, JD Mason of Delta Disc Jockeys. Since the company works with the venue often, I had little to do besides choose music. They took care of the rest. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone who is thinking of getting married in the area.

Kemper Lakes was the best location we could find. Jessica was there for us every step of the way helped me so much with all the planing and timelines. The day of the wedding the decoration was beautiful and the service amazing, their team is very professional and their responsiveness super quick, that took a lot of stress out of my shoulders. We couldn't be happier with the overall service, and the result was a perfect beautiful ceremony and reception. After a month people is still calling me to tell me what a beautiful wedding and place. Yes I will recommend this venue to my family and friends.

Everything surpassed our expectations about this place- it never rains on a Kemper Lakes Bride! Our guests were blown away with the natural beauty of this wooded-lodge like place. The director there (Jessica) was phenomenal to work with- a no nonsense person who gets right down to business (no sugar coating stuff, just telling it like it is, which is refreshing among all the fake wedding vendor people). She worked with our budget, gave us great advice on food, and helped us on the big day. She is also INCREDIBLY prompt with emails, which is a huge asset for a wedding vendor. She usually got back to us within 1/2 a day.

we had such a great experience with jessica at kemper lakes and the food and everything was great. the staff were so friendly and helpful. we had an awesome wedding and all our friends and family cant stop raving about how great the food was and how beautiful the place was.

I got married at Kemper Lakes Golf Club in July. I live on the west coast so I did most of my communication with Jessica by email. Though when I look back on my wedding day, I am extremely happy, I thought I'd write a review for other brides considering Kemper as a wedding venue. POSITIVES: 1. The venue is so GORGEOUS. It's unique, beautiful scenery, quite, calm and photographs amazingly. 2. The food is really good 3. Jessica responds to emails quickly Negatives: 1. Though Jessica is nice, she seems like she has been doing this for a while so when she talks about wedding planning with the bride, groom and families she doesn't seem thrilled. I felt that at my food tasting, we were rushed and she took away from us enjoying the moment. It was my only chance to eat the food since I barely had any on the wedding day. Her emails are extremely short as noted by another bride. 2. There were storms the week before and two days my wedding. Jessica informed us the day of the rehearsal that the Peninsula where the ceremony would be located was flooded and there was NO WAY we would be able to use it. In a obvious panic we headed over there to see that it was not bad at all. Even though we had a plan B, I feel like she was thinking worse case scenario - even informing me that since there was no power, I may have huge, loud generators at the reception. Even on the day of my wedding she was worst-case scenario with rain. I felt she should be talking to my mom, not me. 3. Helping my mom with things on my wedding day, Jessica put my veil in a linen closet, rather than in my dressing room. With all the craziness before walking down the aisle, me and the entire bridal party didn't think about it. Jessica didn't notice I was missing my veil either. I really wish I had it to walk down the aisle since my mom made it!!! 4. Jessica left our wedding ceremony once we walked down the aisle. There was no advanced notice that she would be leaving. 5. When my groomsmen were taking shots (something that was against our contract), another cranky lady involved came to tell ME that they could not. She should have left the bride and groom out of the drama and talked to a mother about it. 6. During our food tasting, Jessica didn't review our contract and didn't realize that she never met the groom. 7. Wait staff did not take extra special care of the bridal party during the reception. I felt that I should have been offered more hors' doreves (I literally only had two pieces) and cleared our empty glasses faster than they did- lots of empty glasses in our pictures. *Though there are many more negatives than positives above (the negatives are in the details of the day), I still wouldn't change our wedding venue. Our wedding day at Kemper was truly beautiful and I will remember it forever.

Everything turned out amazing - the ceremony setting at Kemper Lakes is gorgeous. I felt like I was in a movie as I walked down the aisle, it was so amazing. Everything went pretty smoothly, but during the planning, the event coordinator had such amazing reviews on other websites that I expected more from the service. I felt like I got nothing out of her throughout the whole planning. She would respond to my questions with as few words as possible, there was never any back-and-forth and she never made suggestions. I was just expecting more based on other reviews. Maybe I wasn't "needy" enough. There were times that I really disliked her though, like when my grandparents were late for the ceremony (like 5 min!) and she said we'd have to start without them. Um. No. I thought the prices were a little high and I was not impressed by any of the food, though my guests had good things to say. My guests also LOVED the bartenders, who were super friendly to everyone.

We had the wedding of our dreams at Kemper Lakes! It was absolutely beautiful from the start of the day til the end of the last song. The service, food, and venue were great. We had our ceremony there as well as the reception. Jessica was a great help and so very nice from day one. I would highly recommend Kemper Lakes to any bride hopeful for a romantic and beautiful wedding day!

I had my wedding reception at Kemper a few weeks ago and it was amazing! Jessica was great to work with throughout the entire process. Originally we weren't going to go look at Kemper because we thought it was too expensive, but Jessica called us back when we canceled our visit and told us she could give us Friday pricing for a Saturday wedding. We loved the big windows all around the room, our guests said the food was great (it was good at the tasting but I didn't get to eat much at the wedding). They also did our cake through Lovin' Oven Bakery & the cake/cupcakes looked fantastic & tasted really good (according to our guests). My husband and I are so pleased with how everything turned out & we're so glad we chose Kemper. The wedding photos outdoors look great (from the ones we've seen so far) too. We'd highly recommend Kemper for your wedding!
