My Husband and I got married 8/24/24 and Megan was our day of coordinator. But let me tell you that she was not only involved on the day of the wedding, no she came with us to our big planning meeting with our venue in March, ran our whole rehearsal and was super helpful in making sure everything was together with our time line, vendors, and everything weeks before the wedding itself. I gave birth to my son 2 months before our wedding and I am so grateful for Megans help in making sure our day ran smoothly and was absolutely perfect. She even stayed to help break down the venue space and got all of our decor together so we didn't have to worry about a thing. She was extremely detailed and on top of everything, I don't think I could sing praises high enough for how amazing Megan was from start to finish. 10/10 we highly recommend Megan for any wedding planning you may need.

It is rare to see anything or anyone with a 5 star rating these days, but there are a million reasons why Megan deserves every one of those stars. We found her relatively early in our planning process and I was incredibly overwhelmed by all of the vendor options available. Megan listened to us and was so helpful in narrowing down vendors that fit our style and budget. She was always available to answer my random questions and had a wealth of general wedding knowledge to guide us as we moved through the planning process. I like to think I am an organized person and and Megan clearly is the queen of organization. It made me feel so relaxed knowing that she was paying attention to every detail and handling everything with ease. She obviously has a great eye for design and it was so nice to know that I didn't have to stress about the little details and I could trust her implicitly to make our space look fabulous. Then, the day of the wedding, she was such a calm and supportive presence. Everything was seamless and looked incredible. The icing on the cake was when we walked back down the aisle to her and her assistant waiting for us with cocktails, *swoon*. Straight to my heart. She was there and helping until the very end and made sure we didn't stress about anything the entire day. I really cannot recommend her and Kennedy Planning Co enough. She was hands down the best money we spent for our wedding.

Megan is the best!!! We had Megan as a day of coordinator for our wedding and I can’t imagine how different the day would’ve been without her. She thinks of everything and is on top of every detail so that you can truly enjoy your day. She kept everything moving along so we stayed on schedule, helped keep other vendors on track, had my 2nd dress and shoes lined up right when I needed it, and even had a drink ready for each of us right after the ceremony! There aren't enough nice things to say about Megan and Kennedy Planning. Megan was everything we wanted and needed in a day-of coordinator and more. There were so many times where my now-wife and I would turn to each other and say, "thank goodness for Megan." She thought of everything, led the charge on almost every logistics thing that came up, and was so much fun to work with. My fiancé and I interviewed multiple Detroit-based wedding planners, and Megan blew them all out of the water from the very first meeting. I was a June 2023 bride planning a Detroit wedding from Indianapolis. I was pretty nervous, since I didn’t have a good understanding of the Detroit wedding scene. When my husband and I booked Megan in 2022, she immediately jumped in. She offered recommendations on how to achieve the look from our inspiration photos and shared her favorite vendors. She even met us for coffee during one of our whirlwind weekend trips, taking time to truly understand our vision. I loved Megan’s honesty, and I immediately trusted her. She wasn’t afraid to tell me to skip something or to allocate budget elsewhere. 30 days out, Megan handled all the stressful parts of vendor communications and timeline creation. Our venue was pretty unique in terms of load in, and Megan handled ALL of it. It was so lovely to relax, knowing Megan would take care of everything. Highly recommend!

Megan was fabulous! I am the mother of the bride and we held the entire wedding at our home in the backyard. I could NOT HAVE DONE THIS WITHOUT MEGAN! She coordinated and communicated with us the entire time. She checked on our vendors. Found mistakes in orders, (like table cloth lengths). She took the time to understand my daughters vision and every detail of it. It was not a "cookie cutter" wedding, so there was a lot of moving parts! She always gave us good, solid, straight forward advice. Megan has a leadership style that is calm, but extremely meticulous. She was thrown in many situations on the day, from flower arranging, wrangling bag pipe players, not to mention dealing with all of us (or herding cats LOL!) in addition to making sure everything was running smoothly as planned. She was polite, respectful, talented, charming, always there with a solution, as if she had the "Mary Poppins" bag. I cannot say enough good things about Megan, she was our right hand and now we feel like we have a new friend in our lives. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER! I'll start by saying that I am not someone who writes reviews often, but I need you to stop reading this review, and book Kennedy Planning Co right now. Megan Kennedy was my planner and day of coordinator for my May 2023 wedding. She reached out to me months in advance, even when she technically didn't need to reach out until closer to the wedding. She started assisting with the planning process and doing so many things that were outside of her "regular" duties. She always goes the extra mile(s). She is available at all times for any crisis management, and trust me...she will manage any crisis with a vendor, an unruly guest, you name it and you won't even know if something went wrong at your wedding. If you are worried about something, she already has taken care of it. If you have a question, she already knows the answer. She is extremely organized, punctual, and most importantly, reliable. She attended every vendor meeting, every venue coordinator discussion, and provided an extremely detailed timeline for the wedding. Planning a wedding was something I did not want to do...I needed someone to make my vision appear, and Megan did just that. She is the reason my wedding went flawlessly. Thank you doesn't begin to cover it, but thank you, Megan, a million times over.

Megan is truly a beautiful human being inside and out. I started out being very hands off with wedding planning, and she got me on track. Having her to guide me through the whole process made it much less stressful and allowed me to have a lot of fun with planning. Megan helped me plan both an intimate elopement in Northern Michigan and the fall reception of my Pinterest board dreams. She managed all of the vendors which was a huge help since I work nights and sleep when most calls would need to be made. Many times I sent Megan pictures of what I wanted, and she helped make it happen or gave amazing advice on how to achieve it. Our reception was absolutely perfect and Megan is the reason that everything was so organized. She did everything from encourage guests to sign our guestbook and to take pictures with our greenery wall, to calling vendors about inconsistencies in our contact. Megan was amazing!! I was living overseas while my husband was back in Michigan. Megan scheduled multiple virtual calls and meetings for us to all plan together. She went with my husband and sister to look at the venue, coordinated with vendors, and generally made sure we had a plan. I was too busy to really sit down and create a vision for our wedding. I asked Megan to give us options. From transportation to decorations and more, she would send emails with a coupe different options, her opinions on each one and whether they were cheaper or more expensive. I just had to review the list and make a decision. Best wedding planning experience!! I have to add that her day of coordination was also stellar. I wasn’t bothered with any decisions or problems day of and I was able to relax and take it all in. I cannot recommend Megan enough!!

I don't know where to begin! Megan is absolutely amazing. From our first meeting, she made my life and the process of planning our COVID-postponed wedding a breeze. Literally fell in love with Megan, she was an AMAZING asset for my big day. I originally hired her as a day of planner and only a couple months away had to throw up my hands and have her take over due to my work schedule. She took it on with grace and had every vendor ready with a contract within the week. I loved our chats, she fully understood my vision and made it happen. She helped us plan not only our wedding, but 3 other events over the weekend as well. Megan was so so available throughout the 9-10 months were working together. She helped with/offered advice about everything from vendor selection, to staying on top of checklists/timelines, to helping me choose decor (not my strong suit 😝). Literally from the day she responded to my inquiry email, I swear 95%+ of our correspondence until my wedding day was responded to in like <5 minutes lol. Because she does not plan as many events throughout the year as larger companies, she is extremely attentive to her clients’ needs. She went above and beyond what I would assume to be normal job duties before, during, and after our wedding. She allowed us to ship wedding items/a completely unreasonable amount of Garrett’s popcorn to her own house (we live in Texas), returned an Amazon package to UPS for me, and picked up cardboard cutouts of one of my bridesmaids that got COVID at the last minute and couldn’t attend. All of my other vendors said that she was professional, a pleasure to work with, and, as I already knew, extremely organized. Our wedding day went so smoothly (at least the version of the day that was made privy to me, which was awesome). It relieved so much pressure and stress to know that Megan was in charge; at that point she was probably the only person in the world, other than myself, that I would trust to “nail” every detail perfectly. One moment stood out to me. She was so on top of it, and things were running so smoothly that while we were taking family photos after the ceremony/during coctail hour, she stood with plates of appetizers for my husband and I for at least 15 minutes. Not multi-tasking, just standing with the food. I told her “thank you,” and that I “would get to it;” but, she refused to just leave behind the plates because she knew I would get caught up in other things. To calmly stand there while 100 other things are going on because you know it’s going so well… power move in my opinion 😄. We got married at Circ & Root, which required a transition from a top floor to a basement for dancing. The transition went very smoothly, and she and her husband David were so careful and conscious about making sure all of our items/decor, especially family heirlooms, made to back to the bridal suite as soon after they were used. I’ve gone on too long here, but I’ll just re-iterate, choose Megan. I laughed when I saw that another review mentioned that Megan ended up feeling like a friend, because I feel the exact same way. She is insanely organized, but also just a good human being. I missed chatting with her once it was all over! I would hire her to plan any event I ever host again; would probably even fly her to Houston to do so. She was my lifesaver!

Megan is an EXTRAORDINARY wedding planner. My fiancé and I reached out to Megan after we saw what an incredible job she did with a wedding we attended this past summer. Planning a wedding during a pandemic with a partner in the military was daunting, to say the least. We could not be happier with our decision to hire Kennedy Planning Co. to plan and execute our destination wedding in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Megan helped and supported us every step of the way. She secured a permit for our location and found an epic AirBnB for the reception. She also helped us find our vendors for the bouquet, the food, the cake, and our amazing photographer. On top of that, she even officiated our wedding (donning an iconic pink suit)! On the day of our wedding, everything was pulled off seamlessly, all thanks to her care, stylistic vision, and meticulous planning. She also has a heart of gold- we were surprised with the thoughtful touch of arranging a hand picked flower bouquet that matched our natural, spring theme.
