I had a good experience with KI. Thanks for helping us get through one of the biggest events of our lives. I don’t think we would have been able to enjoy our wedding without y’all and especially Taylor! I know we put her through the grinder but she did an amazing job!!

Asha was pure gold on the day of events and I wish we had met earlier. My bridesmaids adored her! Ashley put in so much effort with planning and creating vision boards for each event. I really appreciated her dedication and hard work with making my vision come to life. Bhumi was so great with emails and communication. She really picked up the slack from losing two of the previous leads. Muneera helped with a ton of logistics which was great and so helpful. Jignasa helped navigate difficult family conversations and difference of opinions. Every person on the team was very much appreciated.

It was such a great experience. Our lead planners, Asha and Jignasa, were the absolute BEST. As a bride, I was extremely Type A and stressed 95% of the time. KI handled every detail and gave us so much reassurance throughout the process. Our wedding wouldn’t have been as special and enjoyable without them. We’re eternally grateful.

Working with Jignasa and Taylor was an absolute pleasure. Being a type A person and juggling my final year of school I needed a dream team which I found in Jignasa and Taylor. They both did exactly what I need and heard my concerns and requests. Not once during my wedding did I worry about any issues. We both were so present with our family and because of them everything was seamless.

10/10! The day of put everything into perspective - we didn’t have to worry about anything or remind anyone to do a task. We felt we could fully enjoy our weekend, be stress free, and had no idea if anything was going wrong! We felt fully taken care of and loved our weekend.

Jignasa and Ashley really brought our vision to life for our wedding! They were very accommodating for custom requests, understood the vibes for each of our events and executed in a timely and detailed manner. Execution was immaculate and high quality!

KI Weddings has helped plan multiple weddings in my family and therefore has a deep understanding of our family dynamics which made our process very personal. I felt heard, understood and felt like every contingency was thought of before I could worry about it.

11 out of 10. We didn’t want for anything and you went above and beyond our expectations. The hands on deck, organization, coordination, attention to detail, care, kindness, and desire to help is unmatched and will always be remembered. I cannot thank you enough!

11/10. The amount of advice, mediation, and feedback we got at any given time was unmatched. Our wedding weekend honestly would have been impossible to manage without the KI team’s help. I can’t imagine being the bride or groom and also being in the trenches when things inevitably go wrong - it was amazing to have the peace of mind that there were people who would advocate for us and see our vision through. We delegated to the right team. I recommend working with KI for literally any and every thing.

Worst wedding planner ever. She came to my 400 person wedding with nothing in her hands (no notepad, ipad etc) and no assistants. She basically came just to show face and meet my other wonderful vendors for her own networking and probably the free food. If you don’t pay for the “full” experience she will treat you like crap and act like you’re beneath her and not bring any assistants with her because she can’t afford to pay them. STAY AWAY!!!

If you are planning for an Indian wedding, it is stressful and overwhelming at baseline so getting a wedding planner seems mandatory. There are multiple areas KI Wedding could’ve improved in. Attention to detail - we specifically planned a trip to Texas to look at venues since it was no secreof our arrival so we could only explore the event spaces in a limited capacity. One particular venue could only accommodate 30 to 40 people when we had specified that we would have a guest list of 250 to 300. We must’ve been given a generic list. Another example - I would have tot we lived out of state. We were given a list of venues to visit. None of the venue staff were aware repeat myself about details for the wedding such as color schemes, contact information for vendors, general flow events for the wedding. It would be nice if they took the time to review the shared googledoc or notes on clients before engaging in phone calls. I thought their involvement was extremely peripheral despite purchasing full-service wedding planning. I personally edited the majority of the shared googledoc document which was used as a central information portal. I asked repeatedly for an updated timeline and to-do list on the googledoc which was never completed. It did not provide confidence that items on the to-do lists were being done. I was reassured that a wedding could be planned and put together in a very short amount of time despite my insistence that I did not have the luxury of time due to the nature of my occupation. They also needed quicker turnaround and transparency in communication. They needed frequent prompting and follow-up messages after phone calls/discussions to see if any action was done on items. It would commonly take several days for communications to vendors to be initiated or continued. If we had a phone call about the wedding on Monday, you wouldn’t hear anything through Thursday and they would be completely unavailable Friday to Sunday. Therefore, we lost an entire week without any progress. Other things - I did not realize that we would not be directly working with Jignasa. Many companies delegate work to lead planners however it took a long time to be introduced to the lead planner and we felt several months of planning time was lost. KI Weddings claims take care of negotiation with vendors which I did not see any evidence of. The majority of the vendors recommended by this company were grossly out of budget. We found and booked most of the vendors on our own instead. Despite all of these shortcomings, we were hopeful that the execution of the multi-day, multi-event wedding would be where the company would shine. Unfortunately due to COVID, we canceled and we did not have the luxury of setting a new date. They had the audacity to request full payment of services even though I would say less than 20% of services were rendered up until that point (one month prior to the wedding). Overall, I think there are likely other wedding planning services out there that will work more readily with you to decrease the planning burden rather than add to it.

I will keep this brief — if you expect your wedding planner to actually attend your wedding, look elsewhere. Working with K.I. Weddings was by far the worst experience of my entire wedding. I eventually hired a new planner. I can assure you that every one-star review on here is accurate.

If it was possible to give negative stars I would. Jignasa was the WORST human being to work with at my brother’s wedding. An absolute nightmare with no organization, no team, no transparency, an attitude from hell and lazy. It was so bad that our vendors complained to us about how terrible she was. I cannot believe any positive reviews that she has since our experience was the exact opposite. Instead of hiring her as an event coordinator, you’re better off putting your friend and an excel sheet in charge. Stay away, save your money and save yourself extra stress on your wedding day.

Sifth is so incredibly organized and really easy to work with. As soon as you meet her, you’re instantly friends! I highly recommend her if you’re looking for a friendly, professional planner who has amazing ideas and makes every detail perfect!

Jignasa and her team are spectacular to work with. Me and my husband decided on the wedding date just 6 weeks earlier to the date, the moment we have spoken to her she seemed to be greatly confident that it is very possible. She exhibited great professionalism and her work ethics are impeccable. Me and my husband work full time and she made it easy for us to plan for the wedding event, which is a multiday event, she understood the vision we had and implemented it. Always did give us gentle reminders, deadlines, budget assessment with every vendor, which is especially important for the short timeline we had. Also accommodated the last-minute changes and made the events happen very successfully. It was wonderful to have someone who was able to help us navigate through and adapt to these challenges. She will be with you from start, to finish and even beyond your wedding date. I highly recommend Ki events!!

My family and I had the absolute pleasure of working with K.I. Weddings this March. Although I had a very specific image in my mind, I did not have a lot to show Jignasa in terms of inspiration pictures, Pinterest boards, etc. However, she somehow managed to put together an event that was exactly what I wanted. She balanced my vision against the (sometimes overwhelming) wishes of my family. South Asian weddings are about the family as much as they are about the bride and she was able to keep everyone happy while executing a flawless event. Jignasa was extremely easy to communicate with and she really listened and guided me through all the challenges a wedding brings, including vendor selection. She is clearly well known and respected within the wedding community and she connected me to amazing vendors that were not only excellent at what they did, but fun to work with as well. Finally, Jignasa herself was incredibly professional and fun to work with and I am doubtless that she could make any girl’s wedding dreams come true.

Our family worked with Jignasa, KI Weddings for 3 different family weddings before I got married. It only made sense after seeing the success of each wedding to use KI as our wedding planner. We had a unique ceremony setup in the middle of a downtown cobblestone street that was shut down for our ceremony along with subsequent multi day events and varying venues. My husband isn't Indian, so it was important for us to have someone be mindful of a bicultural wedding. While I know every single thing was not flawless, I could not tell as Jignasa and her team took care of all of the logistics to ensure I, as the bride, was not stressed and enjoyed the day of events. I can't recommend Jignasa and her team enough. Even her recommended vendors are truly a team that cannot be replaced or recommended enough of. They're loyal, trustworthy and truly just GET THE JOB DONE.

Working with K.I. Weddings has been the best decision we have made since we started planning our wedding. We were supposed get married in Cabo in October 2020, and due to COVID-19, were forced to postpone to April 2021. When our families started discussing the possibility of moving the wedding date, we were anxious to say the least! Thanks to Jignasa and her team, that anxiety did not last very long. Their team handled all of the nightmarish logistics wonderfully such as contracts, contacting all of our vendors, so on and so forth. Having K.I. in our corner has relieved so much of the stress that comes with planning an Indian destination wedding, especially in a year like this one. They continue to exceeded our expectations, further solidifying our decision to hire them! Although it was not ideal to postpone one of the biggest weekends of our lives, we are excited to continue working with them through April 2021.

I had originally started working with Jignasa when we had first started planning the wedding in 2019 - pre-covid times. I had met her before at other weddings I had attended, which is where I got to see her in action. She makes sure all goes smoothly, and if there were any hiccups along the way, she would see it through and make sure it is taken care of. Most importantly, I saw how calm the brides were through the wedding planning process and wedding day, so of course I knew that when it came time for me, Jignasa with K.I. weddings would be the wedding planner I wanted. She helped me research and book venues, photo/video, caterer, decor, make up, literally EVERYTHING. She is so on top of all things wedding related, and has such great attention to detail that I knew that we would have all of our bases covered. She is very thorough about the timeline prior to the wedding, and is wonderful about answering all questions/concerns I would have, no matter what time of day. With just 3 months left before the wedding, the country went under lockdown and I began to panic. With Jignasa's reassurance and her guidance/knowledge/help, we were able to set a new date 3 months after the original date. With the uncertainties of covid and not knowing how many guests we would be allowed to have, we had decided to wait to plan until the new wedding date was closer. With her help, we were able re-plan the wedding in 1 month. Yes, 1 month!!! In August, we pulled off a COVID wedding and everything went perfectly, down to the details. I would recommend Jignasa and K.I. Weddings to anyone who is looking for a wedding planner (and even anyone who isn't really, because it makes the wedding planning process and the wedding itself so much more enjoyable). Can't wait to work with K.I. Weddings in 2021 for the reception!!

K.I. Weddings has been great. Especially through the uncertainty of COVID-19. My husband and I are detailed oriented and planners but didn't want the full load of wedding planning, especially from a distance (we live in New York but had a Texas venue). We were looking for someone to trust and handle the mental load on the ground. I went with K.I. for their experience in fusion weddings and the comfort in how Jignasa operated. Jignasa is direct and honest but most importantly personable and patient. As a Bride, I needed someone to be direct/direct me while giving me space to make decisions. I can easily rabbit hole into things, so having Jignasa to present the best options based on our tastes was great. The K.I. team worked behind the scenes but checked-in appropriately to give us the headliners. Jignasa was transparent on the timeline/deadlines working backwards from our date (huge comfort). When COVID hit, she moved things forward in a way that allowed us to be flexible in postponing vs continuing. I cannot stress enough that without Jignasa's guidance, we probably would've been stuck with so many vendor signed contracts/negotiations. But instead, she directed we not lock anything and basically gave us decision tree options which in the end lead us to exactly where we wanted to be. It was great to have an expert like Jignasa dedicated and working behind the scenes (especially during the uncertainty of COVID). She was staying plugged in to not only our situation but what was happening across the industry/country to make sure we solved for what was best and safe for everyone. Though we'll be postponing until next year, I am so happy we went with K.I and Jignasa because I am so at ease with what's to come in all the fun next year (:

K.I. Weddings provided the best service for our wedding! Jignasa and her team were excellent in their communication and making sure every person involved in the wedding and all vendors were on the same page at all times. K.I. Weddings made planning the wedding of our dreams easy and fun and during the wedding weekend all our needs and wants were always taken care of. Selecting K.I. Weddings to take over our wedding planning was probably the best decision my husband’s made so far!! xD Honestly, just recalling the chaos we went through makes me cringe. As a bride, you deal with enough stress and the last thing you need is to be worried about your planner being MIA all the time! About six months before our wedding we had to drop our wedding planner and lose out on a huge chunk of payment because of so many reasons. (I’ve left a passionate review on their page as well if you would like a fun read 😉) I was a mess and half until my husband hired Jignasa and her team for about five months to our wedding! Having had such a shitty experience with my previous planner, I was a full-on shameless bridezilla when it came to dealing with Jignasa and her team, and they handled my crazy like professional miracle workers and my stressful wedding planning actually became a fun and exciting wedding planning process! I couldn’t believe how quickly they booked our remaining vendors and even helped reduced cost on the vendors booked by our previous planner. Their planning process is organized and structured with clear deadlines and instructions on what we need to be working on next. The wedding day was the craziest! They handled by large loving crazy family and all fixed all the problems we could possibly through at them, without even letting me know!! (I found out about everything they did after the wedding ended) They weren’t just planners, they were our friends, our therapists, and our miracle workers! I loved the service K. I weddings provided for the duration of my wedding. They had a great communication platform and had a very proactive approach. Their team would regularly update me and were always on top of timelines provided at the beginning. They also anticipated key problem areas ahead of time and provided the necessary steps and eliminated any risk.. so much so that I never even had the chance to stress out. From friend’s experiences, I anticipated that planning my wedding would be the most difficult time of my life, but K. I Weddings made my wedding an amazing experience! Thank you guys so so much!!

Jignasa and her team are one of the best people in the business. They started with our planning from the very very beginning and because of that our events were very successful. I am so happy that I chose Jignasa and KI Weddings for my wedding! Jignasa is one of the kindest and realest people you’ll work with. From day one, I told her what I wanted and that is exactly what she gave me. We made sure to have weekly meetings and everything was Google Doc based which I loved. I was able to access my wedding plans whenever I needed and everything was extremely organized. Even though I lived in Florida and Jignasa in Dallas, she attended every phone call, answered my calls every time I called and made sure all of mine and my family’s questions were answered thoroughly. KI made planning my wedding so easy and I can 100% say that I genuinely ENJOYED my wedding. KI’s team catered to me, my husband and our families and everything we needed. Jignasa even came to my house to help me finish packing my personal belongings for my move after the wedding. The morning of the wedding my mom was hysterical because we were missing some items and KI quickly went out and found her everything she needed. Every single event started on time and every event went PERFECT. KI kept in touch with my husband’s side as well to make sure their trip to Florida from Memphis went smooth with no issues. The day of the wedding, she was there as a support system for my dad. That is one thing I will forever be grateful for. A few months after the wedding, she was in my new city Memphis and even called to meet up for dinner. Jignasa is a someone who you will want to have in your life even after your wedding. I have nothing but the highest regard for Jignasa and her team. This review is 2 years late, but better late than never. From the very 1st day to the day of my son’s wedding, I could sleep peacefully at night knowing that Jignasa had everything under control. Even though I am very detail oriented and a worry wart, I could tell she was even more organized and meticulous than I was. She has been in the wedding planning business for a long time, and that is invaluable. She was punctual, responsive and very professional throughout. If there were any problems during the ceremonies, I sure did not know about it. And that’s why I hired her. She is very trustworthy and delivers what she promises. The biggest compliment I could pay was by referring her to my closest friends, which I did many times. If you want a hassle free experience, KI weddings is the place to go.

Save your time, money, and additional headaches. The point of a wedding planner is to decrease your stress, keep you calm and organized, and make you and your wedding vision a priority. Instead, we had to stay on top of KI Weddings throughout the whole process to plan our wedding. And they still dropped the ball on things up to the day of the ceremony. My stress levels were so high I had health problems from wedding planning, even with this planner! You could plan a more cost effective wedding without KI Weddings. We went 2x above our budget. Hidden costs, misleading, and do not look out for their client's best interest. Extremely disappointed in our experience.

We began working with KI weddings more than a year ago to help plan our wedding in Dallas. Jignasa was incredible in every step of the process. We were always able to get quick answers from her and her team. As with most weddings, there are unexpected obstacles that come up, and Jignasa and her team handled them effortlessly and really took the pressure off of us. There had been some last minute problems with the decorators, set up, and draping/make up vendors, which was handled professionally and expediently by Jignasa and KI weddings. We had some last minute changes in the middle of the night before the wedding day which again, Jignasa took care of immediately. I have to say hands down Khwaab Impressions is the best wedding planners ever. Jignasa was there for me every step of the way and still even after the wedding she is there for me. My entire wedding week I was so stressed, but Jignasa and her team did everything to make all my stress go away. We will always recommend them to anyone.
