Kiana Lodge was everything we dreamed of and more for our wedding. It is the perfect embodiment of the Pacific Northwest, which was exactly what we wanted for our out-of-state fami...
ly members. We had a list of other venue tours lined up, but within minutes of arriving at Kiana Lodge, we knew we’d be canceling them all.
The natural beauty of the venue felt like it was made for our day. We definitely saved on our floral budget because of how much natural greenery the venue has. Every photo we have is stunning because our backdrop was so perfect!!
Our coordinator, Pam, was the MVP. She guided us through the entire planning process and made us feel so supported. With Pam and the entire staff’s incredible care, we were able to sit back, relax, and enjoy every moment. We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect venue and wish we could live it all over again. We hope you choose Kiana too!!
We just had our wedding at Kiana Lodge and could not be happier with how it went! Everything about the venue is absolutely stunning, our ideal wedding vibe was romantic PNW forest ...
and this was the perfect venue to match that vision. We've received so many compliments on how beautiful the venue and location are.
The food was also wonderful, the apps and the dinner were prefect from start to finish, we got lots of guest compliments on the food too. Staff and bartenders were wonderful and guests had a lovely time with them.
Last but not least, Pam!! Pam was our event manager and she made sure everything ran smoothly. She helped make our vision come true, and also made sure everything met my dietary restrictions (I have Celiac so food can be tricky for me!) We really appreciate how above and beyond she and her team went for us to make sure everything was what we dreamed of and more. We could not have asked for a better venue or team!
(Also, it helps that we're big Twin Peaks fans, the first time we came for our tour was so special even just for that alone!)
Kiana Lodge was the perfect venue for our fall wedding. The grounds are just as amazing with the fall colors as it is in the summer with everything in bloom, and the offering of st...
unning indoor spaces made our indoor wedding feel magical with little need for additional décor. The staff the day-of did an amazing job (coordinating, serving, and bartending) and worked with our wedding coordinator to help everything run smoothly. When we didn’t use some of the prepaid services due to weather and our guests drinking less than our pre-paid drink budget, they promptly refunded us the difference.
My only comment and reason for not rating a full five stars is that working with them up to the day-of was very frustrating at times due to issues with communication, mostly, it seemed, internally. There were a few scheduling issues and a couple of times near the end that one or two people thought another had taken care of something that had not been completed yet. Kiana Lodge also tailors to a lot of different events, and because of that, they are less flexible when it comes to catering to exact wishes for weddings compared to pretty much every wedding-focused venue we met with.
In the end, our wedding was everything we could have asked for. We had so many compliments about the venue layout and the food. We are still talking about it and hearing about it from guests and vendors after almost a week.
Kiana did an amazing job with our wedding--the scenery was beautiful (so many summer flowers in bloom!) and the staff made the entire event run so smoothly. We worked with Pam and ...
she was so experienced and lovely to work with. She anticipated our every need the day of the wedding and really made the day go perfectly. Kiana's chef accommodated food allergies with no problems, which was really important to us (and the food was amazing, especially the salmon). We also loved that the venue is so private and that we could celebrate with just our guests!
I cannot say enough good things about this venue - they are a dream come true!
We came to Kiana about a year before the wedding with a 2-ceremony vision. Pam, Leslie, and the Kian...
a team gave us a tour and came back to us with a reasonable plan and quote. They were willing to set up the dining room twice, the wedding ceremony chairs twice, with a quick clean up in between ceremonies! Additionally, they had worked with our planner before and had a good relationship.
The space itself is gorgeous. The flowers, the water, the garden, just amazing! There were seals playing and eagles soaring throughout the day. The fact that this is a private property that only hosts one wedding at a time was also something that I found really special and helpful. There is no chance of random people poking their heads in or running into another wedding - the venue is yours for your day, this was really important to us.
The food at Kiana is also great :) We wanted to serve a traditional indian/nepali lunch after our first ceremony, and Kiana's chef, Cesar, learned the recipes and cooked the dishes himself!! We had a tasting a couple months before the ceremony with some minor notes and the lunch on the wedding itself came out perfect! They even accommodated some new appetizer recipes for cocktail hour! The dinner was great, and the bar lines were manageable (something we had asked them to be mindful of).
We got married at Kiana Lodge in June 2024 and it is such an incredible venue! The grounds are stunning with so many flowers and we loved how it is right on the ocean. We got some...
incredible photos out on their dock! The service at the venue is also top notch, everyone on the staff was so kind and friendly! The food was also SO delicious! People are still raving to us about how good the wedding food was. Everything was so organized and the day ran so smoothly. We are so grateful to Kiana Lodge for helping us have the wedding of our dreams! Highly recommend this venue.
I can't describe how beautiful this venue was. We had our wedding on July 7th and the weather was perfect. The flowers and gardens that Kiana provides provide a very natural, ether...
eal feel to the venue. The venue staff were also phenomenal. Hailey Crow and Leslie Swift were both amazing and extremely communicative and supportive every step of the way. Everything ran on time, the food was restaurant quality, the service was pleasant and quick, and all of my day-of needs were filled without me even having to ask. I can't recommend Kiana highly enough for the peace of mind, the beauty, and the food!!
Our experience at Kiana Lodge was nothing short of magical, thanks in large part to the incredible team led by Pamela. From the moment we toured the venue, we knew it was the perfe...
ct place for our special day. The natural beauty of the surroundings provided a stunning backdrop for our ceremony and reception. Pamela's expertise and attention to detail were evident every step of the way, from planning to execution. She went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our wedding was flawless, from coordinating with vendors to accommodating special requests. The staff at Kiana Lodge was professional, friendly, and accommodating, making our guests feel welcomed and cared for. Our wedding day exceeded all expectations, and we owe a huge thanks to Pamela and the entire team at Kiana Lodge for making it truly unforgettable!

ding. Not to mention, the team and staff are absolutely awesome.
Can't say enough about Pam! She helped us plan prior to our wedding day and coordinate the day of. We would've been lost without her! The staff on-site were also super helpful, kind, and professional.
Can't imagine us making another choice for a wedding venue. They get our highest recommendation.
Kiana Lodge is such a stunning venue, we hardly needed to decorate. The staff was helpful, and many of our vendors were familiar with the space, which made a big difference.
Brittany is sooo helpful! Beautiful venue! It’s the perfect spot

he way Mario was there to answer any questions and assist as needed. Not only are you getting top service but you’ll have a beautiful venue for infinite photos- side note the fireworks are worth it if you’re thinking about adding it to your big day! Myself and my team look forward to working here again!
We had the best wedding at Kiana! The outdoor and indoor spaces were both absolutely pristine and beautiful. All of our guests agreed it was a stunning location for a wedding, and ...
we lucked out with the best weather and water tides! We absolutely adored Laura and all the help she provided on the day of the event and leading up to it! The whole Kiana team was accommodating with food requests (and ALL of the food was DELICIOUS!), the bartenders really did our specialty cocktails justice, and we had a flawless transition of setting up our reception space and breaking down all the elements at the end for everything to come home with us. We didn't have to worry about a single thing! We packaged up all our decorations and special tables with instructions for how we wanted them setup, and Laura and the team did a perfect job, so it was possible for us and our family to be hands off and just enjoy ourselves leading up to the ceremony. I would recommend Kiana lodge for any wedding event where the bride and groom are hoping to enjoy the summer Washington weather and highlight the beauty of this state!
Kiana Lodge is simply amazing. As a planner for the past 15 years, I have worked at numerous venues on the west coast. The team (especially the lead managers) at the venue did such...
an incredible job with Kore and Kyle's wedding this past weekend. They were on top of everything from food service on time to assisting other vendors with help to making sure all of the guests not just the bridal party were taken care of, happy and had a great time. I am very much looking forward to referring business to this venue for years to come and look forward to partnering with them on more events.

kept gushing at how gorgeous the scenery was. Pam was our event coordinator and she was wonderful to work with. We were so clueless as to how to go about planning for the day and she was so informative and helpful. The day of, she kept everything so smooth and stress free. the day. She made the entire process extremely smooth and as stress-free as possible for us, and we thoroughly enjoyed our day thanks to us. The venue itself was spectacular. I couldn't recommend more.

ng our day was a good experience, and we enjoyed the preview day that we were able to attend in January.

Kiana Lodge is beautiful! It was the perfect setting for our wedding. Pictures do not do it justice. Pam was fantastic to work with, she is incredibly gracious with her time, kept ...
us stress free, and is wonderful person. We met with Pam about 4 times in person leading up to the wedding. We booked about a year in advance- dates fill up early- and didn’t have much to choose from in the window we wanted. The food was fantastic. Most of our guests were from out of town, this was the perfect place to give them a taste of the PNW.
Kiana Lodge was our dream wedding come true! The views and landscaping are beautiful year round. Pam was our coordinator and handled everything perfectly! They host an annual open...
house which was super helpful and frankly, fun! We would highly recommend this venue (and ask you request to work with Pam) to anyone!
Kiana Lodge was absolutely the best wedding venue ever. The venue is stunning. Pam was our wedding coordinator and holy smokes did she make the whole process completely stress free...
. I cannot imagine doing it without her. She’s just the sweetest person you could meet. So many of our guests commented on how stress free we seemed and that’s because of her and her team. Not only did she meet with us multiple times before our big day and spend our wedding day with us but the venue also had an expo in the beginning of the year so all the couples who booked their weddings there could meet the preferred vendors and sample food and drinks. As for the food, it is amazing, people still are talking about it. Thank you so much Pam and Kiana for being the perfect beginning to our marriage.
This was truly the most perfect Pacific Northwest wedding venue and I couldn't have asked for a more dreamy day! We had our wedding here in July and we were BEYOND impressed with, ...
not only the venue itself, but the staff/ service, the planning process, and everything in between.
Venue:
This place is STUNNING and speaks for itself - little to no decorating needed. The grounds are so well maintained and manicured, with beautiful flower baskets and gardens all around. We had our wedding outside facing the water, which was such a beautiful backdrop. The garden atrium, where we had our reception, is so dreamy, with all the wood, the natural light coming in from all the windows, and the open feel. There is an awesome space for groomsman to get ready in the "moose room" of the lodge, and a cute little room for bridesmaids and the bride to get dressed and do "touch-ups." The outside lawn was perfect for lawn games (Cornhole, giant jenga, etc.) during our cocktail hour, and there was even the option for a bonfire by the beach later in the evening. It really is all-inclusive, with a venue coordinator to help with planning, food, drinks, etc, so it made the planning process so much easier. In addition, they do a super helpful tasting/ open house of sorts in January for all the couples that have booked dates in the upcoming year, which was so helpful! In addition to the food tasting, there are also all kinds of wedding vendors there and we were able to find our florist during this event!
Staff:
Pam was our venue coordinator and she was so amazing to work with. From the very beginning she was so helpful and knowledgable. We did most of our communication with her via email and a couple phone calls as we live in Las Vegas, but she always helped keep our planning on schedule and made me feel at ease throughout the whole process. She even met with my mom and sister at the venue a few times. She's got wedding days down to a science at Kiana Lodge and knows exactly how to keep things on schedule and running smoothly. She was there for us, not only throughout the planning process, but also on the day of and we are just so grateful to her for everything she did for us.
The other staff members that were there on the day of were also wonderful, helpful, and fun, yet professional.
Food:
This place provides all the food, from appetizers during cocktail hour, to dinner, and all of it is delicious. All our guests loved the signature salmon and were very impressed with the food and beverage service (we chose to do plated dinner instead of a buffet and were very happy with that decision). I was so happy I didn't have to find an outside caterer for our wedding - it was helpful to just have all of it included.
A couple tips - if you are planning to book a summer date here, do it early! Weekends book really fast! Don't hesitate to book - just do it! You won't be disappointed. You'll also want to make sure that the Clearwater Casino & Hotel, just five minutes down the road, has rooms available if you have a lot of out of town guests attending - it's really one of the only hotel accommodations available nearby (and their lodge rooms are beautiful!), plus they provide a shuttle to and from the venue - so convenient!
Overall, this venue was absolutely perfect and we are forever grateful to the staff, especially Pam, for helping us create our dream wedding.
Everything about Kiana was wonderful. After touring several hotel ballrooms in Seattle and Bellevue we realized we wanted a venue that was more than just a beige box that needed t...
o be decorated.
My wife and I fell in love in part while being outside in the PNW. The natural beauty of the Kiana grounds was a perfect setting for us. A couple specific things to mention:
Location - this is a lodge in Poulsbo, not a hotel in downtown Seattle, so make sure you take that into account. It takes a while to get there. You might want to set up a shuttle / bus service if it is going to be a big wedding. We were at about 200 guests and parking was fine, but I could see it getting a little tight as you get up to 250 or 300 people.
Facilities - the highlight of the venue. If you have the ceremony outside on the lawn there a beautiful views from every angle. The sheer number of flowers and plants make summer weddings especially beautiful (and you save a little money on flowers too, since nature and the gardeners at Kiana have provided such a beautiful backdrop. The garden atrium is a lovely space - light filled, airy, and perfectly adjacent to the rest of the lodge. We used it as the reception hall and dance area.
Google maps have some wonderful pictures / walk through tours of Kiana, and it really is that beautiful/spectacular.
Food - We had an amazing menu. Their own salmon recipe was perhaps the best tasting salmon I've ever had, and their steak (with both a gorgonzola sauce and a chimichurri sauce) was fantastic - still juicy and tender even though we opted for a buffet style set up (you can do table service as well if you want a more formal setup). And the wild mushroom ravioli - our vegetarian option - was just as tasty. The food was restaurant quality.
Staff - everybody we dealt with at Kiana was professional and kind. They worked hand in hand with out planners and other vendors to make sure things went smoothly. We want to especially thank Pamela and Sonya for all their help, and the Suquamish Tribe for their stewardship of this lovely facility on their reservation.
I cannot explain how happy I am that we decided to use Kiana Lodge as our venue for our wedding day. They exceeded expectation in every important category. I'll briefly touch on ou...
r most important factors for choosing a venue in our opinion: Food, Venue Itself, Service, Price:
FOOD: My biggest worry was that we would spend thousands on food that would be mediocre at best because venues where they do their own catering don't HAVE to be great, since they have no competition and people MUST use them. Before we signed the contract, we met with the Chef who did a private tasting for my fiance and myself, which really comforted us in knowing that the food was actually delicious! We also wanted to do something different than the normal "salmon or steak" platter. I was able to customize the entire menu to food that we love, and when the day came, we heard from so many guests how amazing all of the food was, which is true -- I scarfed down the food in a couple minutes but I was SO HAPPY that the food was JUST AS AMAZING as the private tasting. Kudos to the chef and servers.
VENUE ITSELF: Pictures don't do it justice for reals. I almost didn't even choose to look at the venue because it didn't give me the intimate romantic feels, and the perfect grass and perfect potted plants kind of took away from the natural beauty that it actually exudes. Visit the place. It is very romantic, intimate, with a perfect mix of beach, exotic, and also very customizable to create the look you want. We chose to rent bamboo chairs and use bright fun florals for a tropical and gorgeous wedding. One of my favorite moments is looking up while having dinner and just taking in the beauty of the lodge with the string lights and natural light shining in from the skylights -- it was magical.
SERVICE: I love Laura. She is the coordinator we got to work with and she answered all 80 emails, and truly pulled off every request we had. She understands first hand about how expensive weddings can be, and she really made us feel like we got our monies worth, and she did everything with a smile. Kudos Laura for putting up with us! Kudos to chef, and to all of the servers there.
PRICE: In the end, I would say it was worth every dollar. Being a couple that saved and paid for everything ourselves upfront, I considered this the dream wedding. Definitely not as cheap as a DIY wedding, but here, you don't have to worry about a thing. Fireworks, smores and bon fire, family style social dinner, great bartender, not having to worry about any setup or takedown. I did not lift a finger. Shuttle service to and from the hotel, beach house right next door, everything was perfect. Comparable venues with exact offerings and service, I would say that you get more value here.
My friends have called It the wedding of the century. It is by far the best decision we've made and it truly was a dream wedding.
You won’t find a more beautiful venue in the greater Seattle area, nor a more attentive and organized staff. Pam was amazing at keeping the day on schedule and managing our more ec...
centric family members. Our guests haven’t stopped talking about how beautiful the venue was, even in the on-and-off rain we were dealt that day. The food was delicious and the drinks plentiful! We couldn’t have found a more wonderful venue to celebrate at.
We got married at Kiana Lodge in September 2018. Not only is the venue stunning, with beautiful views of the water and well-maintained grounds, but the staff was very accommodating...
. Pam, the day of coordinator, was great to work with. She knew the right questions to ask in our calls that we had with her before the wedding. On the day of the wedding, she was there to help out with coordinating which ended up being really helpful when everything started moving quickly.
For the dinner, we made some requests to have special recipes cooked that were different than the Kiana menu. The kitchen was able to execute these recipes very well.
Our wedding was perfect, and a lot of the credit goes to the Kiana Lodge being a great place to hold a wedding and the staff executing well. So happy we chose this venue.
My wife and I were married at Kiana this July. Everything about the venue was wonderful. Our ceremony was outside on the lawn overlooking the Puget Sound, and our reception was i...
nside their garden atrium. Pamela and Sonya, our two contacts, were both super easy to work with and made great suggestions when we had trouble deciding on details.
Highs:
Delicious food - both apps and main course. (The salmon and steak were standouts, but it was all amazing.)
Beautiful venue - we actually saved money on flowers because there were so many flowers at the venue already. Just an amazingly lovely and well manicured place nestled into an incredible natural setting. If you love the Pacific NW, you will love this venue. It had a spirit to it.
Staff: Friendly, helpful and responsive.
Drawbacks:
This is minor, but the location could be an issue - because it is across the bay you'll need to take the Bainbridge ferry across or drive around.
For us, it was the perfect venue. We can't recommend Kiana enough.
My husband and I just got married at Kiana in August. As we are from the Mid-West, picking a venue that was organized and easy to work with was a must! I cannot recommend Kiana eno...
ugh! It is the most beautiful venue that I have ever been to. Each time we went I found new areas and things I hadn't seen before. Their wedding day coordinators are all amazing. I worked with Pam and she was so kind and patient with us while we were figuring things out. I found that anytime I emailed or called her I got a response back quickly. The food was amazing as well. We got so many compliments the whole night about how great everything was.
The only thing I will say is that planning and navigating the ferry system for our out of town guests was a bit of a challenge. Ferry's do run late and get full with cars which can often cause problems, especially for out of town people who haven't been on a ferry before. But, with planning we only had small issues that didn't affect anything major.
I honestly cannot say enough amazing things about Kiana Lodge. Our wedding coordinator was Laura. From Day 1, Laura went above and beyond to help us create our dream wedding. She w...
as very responsive via email and phone, was extremely gracious in all of her support and communication, and was extremely generous and organized. The rest of Kiana's staff were lovely and very friendly. We had our ceremony and reception at Kiana and would do it a million times over if we could. The venue is GORGEOUS, the food is delicious, and the staff goes above and beyond. I highly recommend Kiana Lodge and promise you will not be disappointed.
Our wedding turned out beautifully and the staff at Kiana is amazing!
I loved having my wedding at Kiana Lodge! It is the most stunning venue, with lush flowers and manicured grounds everywhere! While it was at the top of our budget for venue and c...
atering, but we feel like we got our money's worth for sure! When you book with them, you have a day-of coordinator that helps plan out the timeline, food, and is there along the way to answer questions, which was lovely. They really have this place running like a well oiled machine - I highly suggest it!
I cannot say enough good things about Kiana Lodge! Pam Weatherill worked with my family during the planning phase and as day of coordinator for the wedding and she is the reason ev...
erything went so smoothly. I planned the wedding from across the country and she was so accommodating and responsive on email and phone, scheduling multiple times to talk about details, sending me updates to our event timeline and working with my other vendors to coordinate so everyone's schedules went together. I also appreciated her perspective regarding table arrangements/colors, etc. since I had no idea what I really wanted.
Kiana also had an open house so I could try food/appetizers, see the venue with tables set up and meet different vendors. Although I had already chosen most of my vendors, this open house really helped me get a better feel for what our event would be like, and meet with Pam and other staff again in person.
We were able to add things to our wedding without looking for outside vendors, such as an arch, uplighting, microphone for ceremony. Kiana seemed to have a lot of things we didn't know we needed. Having to only bring in dessert and a band made the whole day much less stressful and required less coordination with multiple vendors/people.
The day of everything went off without a hitch because Pam was coordinating where everyone should be. Her servers even came over to my husband and I to make sure we ate dinner (and I'm glad they did, it was delicious!). The venue is also so beautiful that even though it rained I didn't feel like we missed out at all not having the ceremony outdoors.
Pam and Kiana's skill, coordination, communication and professionalism were very much appreciated and valued. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to other couples.
Our wedding was global themed, and our wedding planning process was just that. We live in Jackson, MS- planning a wedding in WA- with over 50 guests flying in from out of state/cou...
ntry. We chose Kiana Lodge because it is beautiful, all-inclusive, and connected with a Hotel that provides transportation to/from the ferry. They planned a lot of the details, and our guests could attend a waterfront wedding in Poulsbo WA without even renting a car!
Kiana provided set-up, clean-up, linens, silverware, food/beverage, and SO MUCH MORE! They were so easy to work with and Kiana made planning a wedding so much easier! We worked with Laura regarding our wedding details, and Amy in regards to our hotel block. They were amazing to work with- the distance was not a factor at all (Phone/Email/Skype). They were very helpful, provided fun/unique/amazing ideas, and worked hard to make our vision/ideas into a reality. Signature Cocktails, a Bacon Bar, smore bar, Food Allergies: They truly made it my perfect day! All event day staff was courteous, friendly, and remained relatively behind the scenes- I barely noticed them and heard nothing but positive feedback, which is PERFECT!
The facility is absolutely gorgeous and provides a plethora of photo opportunities: Beachfront, Garden, Lodge, Dock, etc. It has ample opportunities to accommodate any type of weather BEAUTIFULLY which is a HUGE plus for Washington State!
If you are at all considering Kiana Lodge, DO IT! For us, it was love at first visit- truly breathtaking! Kiana is so easy to work with, cost was comparable to other venues, but factor in the hassle free planning and it was worth the investment! Looking back at photo/video: I can't believe that I was able to have my wedding in such a beautiful setting, it truly was a dream come true!
Our October Wedding at Kiana Lodge was breathtaking. Our guests enjoyed the location, and the space was perfect with indoor and outdoor accommodations that kept us from worrying ab...
out unpredictable weather. We heard from many that this was their favorite wedding ever! The food was delicious and the presentation lovely. Don't miss the Signature Salmon. The venue is lovely and did not require a lot to dress it up. Every florist we met with told us how much they love to work with Kiana.
We also appreciated how helpful the staff were , especially Pam, our venue coordinator. Pam walked us through the planning process and was a wealth of wisdom for inexperienced wedding planners like us. She was patient and helped us stay within our budget without compromising the beauty of our wedding day. On the day of the wedding she kept everything running smoothly, and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to be helpful as well.
This was a stunning location, both indoor and outdoor. Even in late October, Kiana still had many flowers in bloom. This venue represents all of the beauty of Puget Sound with sweeping views of Agate Passage, a dock and beach and stately old growth woods. Our photographer was blown away by the setting and could not stop raving about the location.
Very thankful for the staff. They did an amazing job
Kiana Lodge, and working with Pam, was a dream come true. The property grounds are absolutely stunning, and we were lucky enough to have a beautiful, sunny day which made it even m...
ore amazing. Our wedding guests were blown away by the space and the views. Additionally, Pam was fantastic to work. She was very responsive through the whole process, and was incredible (along with the staff) on our wedding day. Everything ran smoothly and seamlessly and she/they were a huge reason why. Everyone loved the food as well. We couldn't be more thrilled with how the day turned out and have amazing memories coming out of it.
My husband and I researched a lot of wedding venues. But when we saw Kiana we knew it was exactly what we wanted. There was no reason to look further. It’s located in a gorgeous pl...
ace on the water surrounded by trees and full of flowers and blossoming trees. My dream was to have an outdoor ceremony. But the weather in April is unpredictable. Kiana was a best choice because of that too, as they offer both outdoor and indoor ceremonies with a day of selection. We were extremely lucky with the weather because it was warm and sunny. The ceremony site was perfect with such gorgeous views.
Pam, our wedding coordinator from Kiana, was very nice and helpful. Any question we had she was quick to respond, gave us many recommendations, helped with food choice, and organized everything perfectly on the day of the wedding.
All our guests loved the venue. It was the best day of our lives and Kiana played a huge role in making it a magical place for our friends and family to come together to celebrate.
This was an amazing venue. It fit our style perfectly and the staff were wonderful. They turned the tables quickly from ceremony to reception and ensured we stayed on schedule. Pam...
, our event coordinator was more than helpful, they also brought us in for free tastings so we could try the food and were always there for any questions. We also used the venue for rehearsal which i would recommend because there was an art to how to walk down the aisle which Pam guided us through. Their food was excellent, in fact on the day of our wedding i thought the food was the best it ever tasted. guests had a great time and really loved the view and atmosphere of kiana. We had the venue for 7 hours (we bought an extra hour and it was worth it to get pics on their property). We would love for one of our friends to get married there so that we could be more relaxed and enjoy all the food and drinks!-Jason & MJ 2/11/17
Amazing venue, can't wait to get married!
In deciding where to get married, my wife & I first visited Kiana Lodge. It was so incredible, we didn't even look at another venue.
Our wedding (7-31-16) day far exceeded ou...
r wildest imagination, and our guests are still raving about it to us 5 months later.
The setting is unmatched, the food & service were exceptional, and the fireworks show - a special tribal treat available at Kiana - was mind blowing. People thought I had spent like $10K on flowers because the venue just comes with a gorgeous garden in full bloom.
Our wedding coordinator, Laura, was on top of everything. She knew the big picture of what we wanted, but she literally didn't miss a single detail. As little things came up throughout the day, as they inevitably do, she was so far ahead of the game that my wife & I didn't have to do anything other than basque in the love & friendship from our families and guests, and soak in the beauty of the moment. As impressive as the venue is, the people there are even better, and Laura is exceptionally good at her job.
Working with Kiana was easy. They are professional, experienced, and I found the costs to be very reasonable. I honestly wouldn't have changed a thing, and I don't have a single suggestion for how things could be done better.
Kiana is a special place, and we love it so much we decided to return to the venue to celebrate New Years Eve. We just wanted to close out 2016 where we had the best day of our lives.
Five Stars doesn't do this place justice. It's pure magic.
Incredible venue and staff! Pamela, Laura and the entire staff treated us like family since day one. We worked with them for 1.5 years to get the wedding planned and it was execute...
d flawlessly - literally. The grounds are insanely beautiful and the food was also incredible. Many of our guests commented on how amazing the entire experience was, especially the Kiana Signature Salmon! We couldn't be more grateful for working with such an amazing team on our special day. We highly recommend Kiana Lodge as a wedding venue for everyone!
I just attended a wedding at Kiana this past September, it was just as beautiful as my daughter’s wedding in 2014. After two astounding weddings there is not enough words for how a...
mazing this venue is. My daughter was not local and greatly depended on the staffing of Kiana Lodge to layout her vision while providing crucial details to her big day. Pam and the rest of the Kiana staff provided all of us with remarkable service from early planning in person, via phone/email and was 100% involved throughout the wedding. Along with my daughter, we always felt like a priority, valued, and well supported from beginning to end. The staffing at Kiana Lodge made everyone feel like we were the most important wedding they have ever held. Each conversation we had with Pam, felt like a personal connection especially from afar. Kiana hosted a complimentary tasting in January, talk about fun! Our family had a wonderful time and were given the opportunity to ask first hand questions, talk with other families, and sample the wonderful food options. Pam also coordinated a guest shuttle from the Clearwater Resort. Every guest got a discounted rate for attending my daughter’s day, and our large family rented out the beach lodge, only a short walking distance from Kiana. The biggest pro for this venue is how private the location is. No one else was permitted on site, this was a HUGE plus for us. As a mom I worried about all the little details, thinking I would have to organize them all day of. That was opposite of the case. Pam and the team seamlessly carried out every last detail, and I got to enjoy time with my daughter. Thank you Kiana!
Kiana Lodge is an absolute dream. Not only is the entire venue stunning, but they take care of every details and make every bride and groom feel like royalty. I was planning our we...
dding from across the country, and they held my hand through every step of the process. The venue is basically a “one stop shop,” which cut down on having to hire a ton of extra vendors (i.e. Catering, rentals, bartender, wedding planner, and servers). Laura was our assigned coordinator, and she is truly an expert in her craft. She thought of every single detail and was so reassuring throughout the way. Delicious food, the most gorgeous PNW scenery, and top notch service--what more could you possibly need?
Laura at the lodge is a godsend. I could not have asked for a more beautiful perfect wedding. I can not recommend this venue enough!
Kiana is one of the most beautiful places I have seen. An amazing view of the water; Agate bridge and a dock to come in by boat.
We choose to do our ceremony on the deck and the ...
background was of Bainbridge Island and the tide was coming in. It was just gorgeous!
Our reception was in the Garden Atrium. Kiana set up everything and allowed me to bring in the day before any and all decorations that I wanted put up as well. We just let them know where and how we wanted them.
The food was absolutely amazing. If you are a fish lover I so highly recommend and suggest that you include the salmon in your meal choice and the salad with pears, blue cheese and a vinaigrette. AMAZING!!! They worked great for the couple of people who had fish allergies, gluten allergies and even went out to get a new watermelon because the one we requested was not up to their standards.
The coordinator that I had for my wedding was Laura Wicklein. She is absolutely amazing, personable, organized, on point and just a doll. She had a way of calming my husband and I the day of. Her voice is soft and gentle and you can hear the confidence she has in herself and in you to do great and have things go perfectly if you will : ) Laura keeps in touch with you, works with requests/ideas and makes sure that your needs are being met at all times.
The price my dad said is good considering they are catering, supply the bar, provide tables and work with you on other needs, set-up, clean-up and provided a shuttle to and from Clearwater Casino since we were staying there. You also receive a discount when you stay at Clearwater if your ceremony is a Kiana.
Kiana is perfect for a wedding or anything else you may need to celebrate. I recommend very much this venue for your needs and if you can; ask for Laura, you will NOT be disappointed! : )
The venue is absolutely gorgeous, space for everything you want to do. The service was perfect, they assign you a coordinator so you can skip a day of planner, they take care of a...
ll the details, maintained great communication up to the day of. They handled everything perfectly and coordinated with our other vendors for us the week of. The food was great, a very talented team even with our special requests. Everyone couldn't stop talking about what a great venue it was.
I happen to find Kiana Lodge just randomly searching online. I like the pictures on the website and it seemed to embody the rustic feel we were going for so I scheduled an appointm...
ent. When we got there, I was completely blown away. The facilities, landscape and view of Puget Sound…absolutely magical! The pictures online did not do it justice. Fell in love again instantly. Even better was Pam who was so wonderful in helping with the planning process. Pam was there helping on the big day and she was so helpful and professional throughout. Also, the food did not disappoint! I got so many compliments from my guests about how delicious the salmon was. I would absolutely recommend going with this place for your wedding day. When I look back and think of ALL the places I checked out for venue, I am so glad I went with Kiana Lodge. Fun fact we found out later on during the planning process: some scenes from Twin Peaks were filmed here! BIG bonus for us since my now husband is a big fan of the show! We almost did our wedding at Salish Lodge (because of Twin Peaks) but it didn’t wow us like Kiana Lodge. No regrets about venue choice whatsoever! This place is perfect!
