Our flowers were phenomenal! Kim did a fantastic job of taking my daughter's vision and turning it into a spectacular showing of gorgeous flowers. We were in awe. We had numerous comments from guests on how beautiful the flowers were. One of our guests was a florist from Australia and he made a point of letting me know what a fantastic job our florist did. This was a destination wedding so we relied highly on our vendors and Kim came through! I would highly recommend Kim Starr Wise.

The florals for our wedding were absolutely stunning. Like jaw-droppingly stunning. Like GET-OUT-OF-HERE stunning. Her work took what we thought was already a gorgeous wedding space and transformed it into a completely magical experience. Working with Kim and her team was such a pleasure. She immediately got what we were looking for and worked with us to execute and even add some amazing twists. When we got the first proposal, we looked through it and had practically no edits; she got what we were looking for and she can absolutely execute that vision. Her team even stopped by our hotel to resolve a last-minute boutonniere issue the day of the wedding. We absolutely recommend KSW and her team and would highly recommend!

Holy shit is Kim amazing. I didn't give her a lot of specific direction as I wanted to be surprised on my wedding day like my guests and DAMN did she deliver!! It was fun, exactly what we were hoping for and beyond. It was moody, sexy, and yes, I'm using that for flowers. Everyone of our guests and us were in awe of the insanely incredible work she put into the wedding. She thought about everything, and made it so magical. THANK YOU KIM AND TEAM!!!!

Our wedding day florals were an absolute dream! Kim and her team understood what I was looking for and delivered something even more magical. Planning a wedding from another state is never easy, it was a bit bumpy in the beginning with some staff changes early on but Kim took time to walk through everything with me and solve for any discrepancies, she was flexible and solution oriented making sure the vision I had would still be possible. In the end her new team was extremely responsive, professional, and amazing to work with!!

I had a last minute change of colors (within the period to be able to change) and they were so helpful. They flowers were absolutely gorgeous and arrived perfectly. Listened to what I wanted and made the perfect bouquet!

KSW is a cut above the rest! They really listened to my dreams and wishes for our special day. Their art made our day so romantic. Our "altar" was roses, grape vines, ivy, snap dragons and jasmine cascading from the Degas House fountain. The tables were lit by candle light within glass sleeves. The fragrance from my bouquet made everyone swoon. I highly recommend their services.

It started with an idea and a proposal...it ended in floral design so much better than we ever imagined. The bride cried happy tears when she saw her vision come to life! This team listens, works within your budget, pays attention to every detail, remains flexible, and they are the nicest people. Truly, one of the best decisions we made for my daughter's New Orleans wedding. David is a rock star and we could not have been more pleased!

They were extremely patient and transparent during the pandemic, and they were kind enough to meet with me multiple times throughout the planning process since our plans had to change a couple of times. We booked KSW for our destination wedding at the beginning of December. We were supposed to be married December of 2020 - but had to postpone because of COVID. Kim was great about moving our date back a year. She completely got the vibe we were going for in both of our locations. Our outdoor ceremony looked like a winter-wonderland fairytale especially because of the gorgeous white floral arch she put together. Our indoor arrangements were everything we asked for.. the deep reds, greens and oranges in three different but impactful sizes. Unfortunately the closer we got to the wedding, a number of our guests could not travel to NOLA. As a result, we lost some tables at the reception. But Kim pivoted by bulking up the existing arrangements and placing some others in highly visible spots around the hall. Oh .. and she even got us a Christmas tree! Book KSW. She's so super cool, she's got a great eye for detail and her team is full of top-notch communicators

First and foremost, if you choose KSW for your wedding, everything from planning to the big day will be more than flawless perfection. My wife and I were married in New Orleans December 11, 2021 and Kim and her company made our wedding a real life fairytale. Every vision we had (even those we couldn't explain well) were set into motion. Our wedding was destination for all involved, and if that is your story, this team will help you create a vision at a distance with prompt communication, zoom calls and scheduled meetings during your planning trips. Something I feel is most important was they helped us through financial decisions with genuine transparency in estimated pricing. When you are planning a wedding, a million little decisions lead into the amount of money you spend. For me, having a florist lead you along the way in those detailed decisions helped to keep us on track. KSW handled floral for our rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony and reception and farewell brunch.

On 10/15 I hired Kim Star Wise florist to provide flowers for my son's rehearsal dinner at Antoines.I never used her, but the company ratings and the website appeared to look good. Don't be fooled. I was extremely disappointed! You as a possible customer, can be the judge. I am proving the invoice, a photo and the correspondence with Kim after the event. I must say I do not have any complaint on the small bouquets, but a huge disappoint on the garland. In an email dated 9/30 I requested a "garland with dark green foliage with tiny white flowers that make a WOW statement". I was charged, just for the garland, $300 per table, 13 tables, total $3,900. As you can see from the photos, the greenery has no resemblance of a garland. The greens were just minimal and looked tosses flat on the table. The spray roses were not available (understandable), so a few large roses were placed on the greenery snipped off at the base. No ribbon. No creativity and definitely no WOW factor! BTW, I was also charged $1,316. for delivery, set up and removal. Does the attached photo look like a $8,522 job? I reached out to talk with Kim and received the email attached. It sounded to me like she was pleased with her work. In the spirit of transparency, you can be the judge. Sadly, you only get one crack at a wedding or rehearsal. Whether you want a lovely, beautiful or magical wedding, Kim and her team are the only ones you want. While also working on 3 other events on the same weekend, Kim and her team worked for hours and and hours and days and days decorating our home and driveways and street and made it all absolutely truly unbelievably magical!!! The wedding and the pictures and the memories made in her enchanting setting will last forever for the bride and groom and their families and friends and most especially for the forever-grateful mother-of-the-bride!

We selected Kim Starr Wise Floral Events for our wedding at Southern Oaks. We chose them based on their awards on The Knot. Initially everything seemed fine. Things changed when they heard about our cake. We worked with a separate vendor for the cake and part of the cake design was to have flowers draped down the front. When KSWFE learned of this cake design, they sent us an updated floral contract with specific language that the ONLY flowers to be used at the wedding will come from them. This was not part of the original contract, which we had signed months prior. We did not sign the updated contract. The night of the wedding, a representative arrived at the venue with the flowers. The rep did not set up anything and left the flowers for the Southern Oaks and bridal party members to set up not long before the wedding. The flowers were wilted and dying-looking. As the groom, my white boutonniere was clearly brown and wilted around the edges. I would not recommend Kim Starr Wise Floral Events.

If you have any doubts for the florist for your wedding, do not hesitate to book Kim - you will have the most beautiful magazine and instagram-worthy design! Kim has a talent and an eye for beautiful, creative design all while handling the grace of COVID challenges for events! We always knew Kim would outdo herself and she still went above and beyond on the design for our destination two-day Hindu & Christian fusion wedding in New Orleans. We came down and spent a full day with Kim, David and her team one weekend to plan out all the little details for our wedding extravaganza pre-COVID in January. Come March and only two weeks away from our wedding date, we chose to postpone our wedding from late March to July. One of our first calls was to Kim for the flowers and other design elements. She was so gracious, accommodating and incredibly kind and responsive while dealing with the whole situation. Kim and team worked tirelessly with us and our planner in the months leading up to our COVID micro-wedding. Kim went above and beyond even as we had to switch venues the week before our postponed date - at which point, all of our 6 months of work for a carefully thought out plan for design went out the window! I eventually just asked Kim to surprise us for some aspects, and boy did her design take our breath away - our wedding vendors, party and guests were all in jaw-dropping awe. Her design was magical, beautiful and stunning, to something my mother exclaimed "beyond our wildest imagination!" My bouquet was one of my favorite items from the weekend as Kim went above and beyond to help us through all the smallest of details to make it perfect. We cannot thank Kim and her team enough for the fabulous work, don't hesitate to hire Kim - especially if you are a COVID wedding couple!!

Our venue could not accommodate our reception so Kim and her team turned our residence into an unforgettable setting for our celebration. We just put our trust in Kim and told her to make it beautiful and believe me she did. I was in awe when we walked in. I highly recommend Kim.

I am so upset with how this florist has handled this situation with COVID-19. Sadly, we had to postpone our wedding 7 days before our date. My future MIL emailed her to find out our options. Kim’s response was that, though this was out of everybody’s control, she would only return “Delievery/setup/removal + taxes” and would offer a “courtesy” 10% discount on our reorder. Considering the amount we spent, this felt like a slap in the face. Kim told us she would only refund $2,000 (coming from aforementioned amount) out of a $7,000 bill and that she would send the bulk order of flowers to our house. This means she charged us for WHOLE centerpieces, bouquets, boutonnieres and a fully put together flower arch (Not to mention non florals like the isle runner, candles, ribbons). None of which we actually received. She has NOT provided an invoice from her wholesaler to explain the large amount she kept. At first, Kim said she couldn’t do more because it was within the 30 days of our scheduled date. After speaking with our lawyer, it is our understanding of the contract that a clause called Force Majeure would apply given that Governmental Authorities are the reason for our postponement. This clause would qualify us for a FULL refund. When we brought up this clause Kim then told us that this clause only would have applied if we had waited to postpone until two days later. We postponed AFTER the 250 person gathering limit was enforced and our second line was cancelled—by government order. Given this part of the contract AND that we paid for complete wedding florals and received bulk flowers we are taking legal action. We would have been understanding about a certain amount of loss had we felt we were met with reason and some compassion (*NOTE* I had a friend getting married on the same day as us who postponed on the same day as us and her florist returned ALL funds after she successfully re-sold all of their flowers mitigating loss on all ends). Kim instead suggested we donate at our own loss after she kept $5,000 of the money we paid her. Obviously we highly recommend finding a different florist as we will be for our postponed wedding.

Kim was incredibly easy to work with from the first time I worked with her team. Harley worked with me to help figure out exactly what I wanted and was always open to any change or new ideas I had for my wedding bouquets. Unfortunately, my wedding was canceled due to the Coronavirus. Such a devastating time for all involved, but Kim promptly addressed all my concerns and issued a full refund to me based on the situation. She was nothing but professional throughout every encounter. I cannot say enough about her team and would highly recommend Kim Starr Wise for any and all floral needs!

Hi, I'm a bride that has survived the COVID-19 postponement of 2020. We have a support group. Kim Starr Wise is one of the many vendors that moved heaven and earth to make sure my dream wedding will still be a reality. Without hesitating, she adjusted the schedules, designs, and contracts to accommodate my new September wedding. Her calm, level-headed demeanor was exactly what I needed in the time of craziness. I can not recommend Kim Starr Wise enough. Her work speaks for itself, but her professionalism is unparalleled.

Update: From a Covid delay to our perfect day, Kim and her team were phenomenal. Everything the day of was perfect and beautiful and everything we wanted. If I ever need a florist for an event in/around New Orleans again, there’s no doubt I’ll choose Kim again. Amazing with planning, communication and end result. Plus, she’s just lovely to work with! Thank you so so much! While I can’t speak to the flowers (yet!), our wedding was impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. Kim and her team were amazing with getting our new date booked quickly, and were gracious in letting us to move the funds over. Our planning with Kim was so easy, and she gave us great advice and excellent options. We can’t wait to see the final arrangements, even if it’s a bit later than we’d wanted. We had the pleasure of having Kim Starr Wise design and create the most elegant, fragrant, and exquisite bouquets and floral arrangements at my daughter's wedding last weekend (DiCarlo/Crouch Wedding) in New Orleans. From the beginning of our correspondence (nine months prior), until the day of the event and after, Kim was exceptionally professional. She was extremely easy to work with, was always responsive, and incredibly patient. Their entire planning process was effortless and easy, as her artistic eye and attention to detail was AMAZING!!!

As with most of my vendors, I didn't meet Kim until the day of my wedding. Upon meeting her, I was basically star struck. I had been following her on Instagram for a while, after starting to pull some ideas together for a vision board post-engagement, I stumbled upon her work and could not get enough of it. Her designs are out of this world and are so unique! I wished so badly to be able to get a florist like her for my wedding. As the planning process went on, it was clear that florals were going to take center stage at my wedding and I could not have been more excited. Kim (and her STELLAR team) built a HUGE Whomping Willow (from the Harry Potter series) from beautiful mosses and branches and leaves and magic and who knows what else! My bouquet was more beautiful than I ever could have imagined. The color palette was earthy and green, full of interesting textures and flecks of color. It will dry beautifully so that I can enjoy it for years! She made things happen with floral arrangements that I didn't know were possible. My husband and I cannot praise her or her team enough. Her design truly made the whole evening perfectly magical in the best way.

Amazing amazing amazing! We used Kim Starr Wise and her team for my engagement party and we will be using them for the wedding. The floral arrangements were beyond beautiful and the team was fantastic. We had one arrangement in the pool and the team actually got into the pool to set up the arrangement. It was an amazing event and can’t wait to see what floral arrangements the team comes up with for the wedding! I would highly recommended using Kim Starr Wise!!!

I will admit that I never met Kim in person since I don't live in New Orleans. My wedding planner simply sent me a list of vendors for floral and I picked a couple. I received 3 quotes and I actually expected Kim to be more expensive than she was given the quality of the work I saw in the pics. Her quote was reasonable and she altered it numerous times as I added and removed things. I have no idea of flower names or anything, and at the end of the day I just provided a pinterest page and she did the rest. It ended up coming out beautifully so I'm glad I just went with it and trusted the experts!

Kim, Jamie, and the rest of the Kim Starr team are absolutely amazing. Being an interior designer, I went in with a pretty specific mental image of what I wanted, but knew nothing about flowers or how to make that vision a reality. They completely exceeded anything that I thought was possible and STAYED IN BUDGET!!! They made the day so perfect and walking into both the ceremony and reception were such amazing moments. Kim Starr Wise TRANSFORMED our wedding into a garden party! From the first meeting, she understood what I wanted and ran with it. I’m so thankful for her vision and how easy she made everything. At my first meeting with Kim, I did not have a vision and rambled about all extreme looks. She kindly, patiently and quietly went through many ideas and pictures. She listened and continued to give ideas. I left that meeting so confused because everything she showed me was stunning and I couldn't make a decision. Well, I was not disappointed. She stayed in budget and produced a stunning floral display at the reception. What can I say...KIM STAR WISE IS AMAZING! Wow, I was so incredibly impressed with my bouquet (there was an artichoke in it!!). I looked all over for weird, dark and gothic, and it was really hard to find in New Orleans, until I found Kim. I had a Halloween morning wedding, and Kims team delivered bright and early. From my initial email to day of, everything was perfect. I am so glad I found Kim Star Wise for my special day.

When the bouquets arrived at the hotel, my jaw dropped...Beautiful does not even begin to describe the creations Kim and her team create!!! The venue itself was transformed and softened by the floral elements...in ways I couldn't have imagined. Best of all, KSW was a dream to work with: One efficient meeting in the whole process, perfectly crafted proposals, and that special kind of listening that captures exactly what you want! Do not even think twice about considering any other wedding florist other than Kim Starr Wise! Her team is totally professional and seamless in execution. She came late to plan our daughter's wedding and did not miss a beat. We were so fortunate that she was available for our event. Due to an unfortunate deluge of rain they were able to rearrange all of the florals for an outside wedding to an inside setting. The florals were just so stunning and gorgeous. I waited until the last minute to find a florist for my October wedding. Luckily, the team at Kim Starr Wise could accommodate me. They worked within my budget, and produced absolutely stunning- and I mean stunning- flowers! The flowers were extremely fresh, and all the arrangements lasted for nearly two weeks after the ceremony.I was thrilled with their elegant designs, and dealing with them was easy peasy. I was so happy with their service that I will use them anytime in the future that I need a florist. They were that good!

They immediately were on the same page as us and produced some of the most beautiful florals I have ever seen, under a serious time crunch! The Kim Starr Wise team is absolutely fantastic. I didn't know what I wanted for sure but I had some vague ideas and knew what was most important to me. They took my vagueness and sent the proposal with exactly what I was looking for, including some really unique ideas. They were also extremely patient with me as we went back and forth on getting every detail finalized throughout the year leading up to the wedding to fit my budget and vision. Kim went absolutely above and beyond to meet our expectations- I know I was not the easiest person to work with as I was VERY specific and wanted a real”show” of floral design and quality... Kim never got ruffled or upset- she handled me and my mini bridezilla with total calm and did an INCREDIBLE job with rehearsal dinner-16 bridesmaids(!!!)- bridal bouquet and at the venue!!!!

A Wise Bride Floral was wonderful! We started with the Vibrance Collection and built from there. They were professional, attentive and willing to collaborate - between designing boutineers to taming a little of the wildness from the Vibrance photos - they were thoughtful, patient flower experts who did a wonderful job! I was planning from out-of-state. They were willing to come meet me on a Monday, despite the fact that the shop was closed that day so we could have a face-to-face during my travels. Can't say enough about how great they were and how lovely all the flowers looked!

We knew from the very beginning that we wanted Kim to provide florals for my daughter's wedding. She delivered elegance and creativity that wowed us and our guests. Beautiful florals on railings, on tables, flowers hanging from the ceiling of the gazebo, surrounding and adorning the cake, cherry blossom branches wound into the band back drop! They were all gorgeous. Kim and her crew know how to think out of the box and deliver.

The whole team at a wise bride was AMAZING for our wedding in October. Jamie was incredibly accommodating and understanding about budget throughout the whole process. Herb was willing to let us pick up our arrangements before business hours, even though our request was very last minute. The arrangements were even more beautiful than I expected. Kim Starr Wise is incredible! She is able to so easily understand her clients' taste and vision for their event and execute it flawlessly. She genuinely wants to do what it is the client desires, and make it unique to that event. She does not have 1 "style"- she can do it ALL. I briefly showed her pictures I'd saved of things I'd found online, and without questioning she knew exactly what I was after. She is professional and easy to work with. Wow, just WOW! We honestly don't know how else to describe the job Kim and her team did. 5 months later and some of our guests who have the most discerning tastes still tell us how incredible and exquisite our flowers were. We will never forget the feeling of walking into our reception venue (NOMA) after the ceremony and before the other guests were brought in. Perfection like we never dreamed could be possible! As we watch our wedding video and look through the wedding pictures, we still cannot believe how beautiful everything was. And our vision wasn't exactly an easy one. Our venue was a grand art museum for a black tie wedding, but we wanted it to not feel over the top and we wanted elements of an English garden.
