ding planning process, from monthly/weekly phone calls, to checklists, timelines, etc. you name it! She was on it! She also helps set you up with some of the most generous/talented vendors in Alabama for your wedding that you will ever meet. Kimberly is more than just a wedding coordinator, she becomes a part of your family and major part of what makes your special day so perfect is having her and her team by your side every step of the way. We couldn’t have done it without her, she was absolutely amazing and I recommend her to anyone getting married or for any event needs! She is patient, kind, and there for you no matter what comes up. I was living in Los Angeles and DC while planning our Dothan, Alabama wedding. Before we hired Kimberly, we had all but called off the “big wedding” due to the stress of all the little wedding planning details. Between living so far away, trying to get our vendors to talk to each other, and making our day special it was all too much. We hired the KSE team with a month of coordination and a bit more (so if you’re not sure what you need help with she’ll even work with you there). She took so much off our plates while still making sure our vision stood strong. Our venue never had hosted a wedding before but with how seamlessly everything worked out you wouldn’t have ever known that. She never scoffed at any of our weird ideas, organized our shuttle vans for our guests, set up and broke down our wedding, and even took my young cousin who wasn’t feeling well to get water during the reception! She’s like a Fairy Wedding Godmother!
She was boots on the ground when I couldn’t be there. A constant voice of reassurance. And when we finally did meet after months of emails and calls, it was like getting to see a best friend you haven’t seen in ages who is so excited for your wedding.
You want to know how good Kimberly really is? I got to take a nap the day before my wedding prior to the rehearsal. I had a little over an hour to just relax and just take some time to myself. In the week leading up to your wedding as a bride, you are running around constantly. Everything needs to be done, everyone has a million questions for you, and escape is futile. But Kimberly had everything handled! That nap will go down in history as the best nap ever.

decisions I made planning our wedding. Kimberly is always professional and very sweet. When she says she will be there for you 24/7 the week of the wedding, she means it. The girls who make up her team are wonderful too. I didn't have to look for anything on our wedding day. I asked for a water, and my "assistant" had it right there with her in a bag she was carrying. This is just one small example of how they do everything they can to make your special day flawless. I would recommend Kimberly Smith Events to anyone and everyone!
