We had our wedding on 8/24/2024 and so happy we were at the Cottonwood. We felt like absolute royalty. Matty was an absolute gem and made us feel so special from the moment we chec...
ked in until we left. She even sent a bottle of champagne up to the room after the wedding!!! Molly Payne and Sarah Miller (Wymer) bent over backwards to make our wedding feel like a fairytale. The food was divine and the service was unmatched. I truly can’t believe how incredible everything was. The rooms were fantastic and the entire hotel is gorgeous. Thank you to everyone who made our stay and wedding incredible!
I love everything about the Cottonwood, except for the experience I had planning my wedding. We had 6 different coordinators over the timespan of a year, and had to go over the ent...
ire vision every time we got a new one. Details that we ironed out with one coordinator suddenly wouldn’t be possible, or would have a cost associated that wasn’t disclosed before. It was a really frustrating process that I hope doesn’t happen to other brides. I felt very insignificant to them which sucks when it’s your one special day. Even working with the hotel staff to coordinate our suite as a bride and groom was difficult, no one could verify an early check in on our wedding day. On the other hand - the day of staff with catering and room setup were PHENOMENAL. They put extra touches on the table that I didn’t even ask for and put together beautiful displays. I am so grateful for that.
The Cottonwood was an absolutely stunning venue for our October wedding! We worked with Kaymie on our event planning and Jon for our room block. Both were extremely helpful and res...
ponsive. Our reception went off seamlessly, the food was delicious, and the photos turned out amazing!
I don't know where to begin. This venue was breathtaking, and I wouldn't have chosen any other place. Sarah helped set out the initial package quote for us and then vectors us to G...
abi. Gabi was incredible! I had so many questions for her and she missed no details. It was a perfect evening. I wish I knew the main bartenders name, but he was gracious and wonderful and so kind, and then Jordan (one of the caterers, I believe) managed a lot of details that kept the evening running smoothly. The venue was lovely, the rehearsal planning was flexible, and the stay in the room that evening was unforgettable. My husband and I will cherish every detail of that night and we are so grateful to everyone (especially Gabi!) who made it perfect and seamless.
This is a stunning venue! Gabi was so great to work with. She even brought me coffee during the reception! For a NYE wedding + waking up before sunrise, this cup of coffee was ever...
ything. Brandon and the team really helped us pull off welcome bags and room assignments flawlessly. My favorite part of working with the Kimpton was the food tasting. They really pulled out all the stops and the food was INCREDIBLE. My only disappointment was that I wanted more food - aka seconds. I also loved being able to walk up to my room at the end of the night to not one, but two hand-written notes by the staff and a bottle of champagne. What a great impression! Thank you Kimpton Cottonwood Hotel!
This venue was worth every penny. It was nice to have everything packaged in and not nickeled and dimed for little things like napkins. It made planning a wedding way easier. We ha...
d our reception in the Schimmel ballroom and it was so beautiful! We loved that there was built-in coordinator. Gabi helped make our wedding dreams come true, down to the specific type of alcohol we wanted for our "signature drink." Gabi also helped us find some of our vendors and gave amazing recommendations or ideas as to how to make the specifics work. I am also gluten-free and they went out of their way to make sure I could eat a Rueben on my wedding day. Theyy just knocked it out of the park every step of the way. The customer service and hospitality this venue provided was incredible. So many guests came up to me and spoke about how awesome the servers/bartenders were. We also loved having a room block at the hotel so all of our guests could walk back to their rooms at the end of the night. We had our wedding party stay on the 8th floor and all of the bridesmaids got ready in the room with me. It made the day flow so well. We cannot reccomend this place enough!!
Having our wedding reception at the Kimpton Cottonwood Hotel in the Schimmel Ballroom was a dream come true! I worked with Gabi from the very beginning and was one of the big selli...
ng points of the venue. She is super easy to work with, very organized and also makes the whole process a lot of fun! The ballroom looked so beautiful alone and was bumped up a notch with beautiful flowers from Bouquet. We had 110 people and it felt like just the right amount to have a 7 piece band and enough room to dance! The terraces are also a huge plus as it was nice to give guests the option to get outside and be able to visit more. The bar was fantastic!!! All the options were perfect. The appetizers and dinner were delicious. Everything was served hot and timely. The staff that bar tended and served were excellent and very attentive to all the guests! I cant thank Gabi, Brandy and her team for making our dream wedding come true!!! We look forward to being apart of the Cottonwood Family for years to come :)
We were originally supposed to have our wedding at the Cottonwood Hotel but unfortunately had to move it due to constructions delays. While we were bummed at finding a new locatio...
n very close to our wedding date, James was more than accommodating in offering to call places and help find alternative arrangements. Ultimately, we made alternative arrangements ourselves but James and Gabi stepped up to the plate big time and offered to be our day of coordinators at the new venue. We met a few times and they were off - I cannot even explain how thankful we were to have day of assistance. They were so quick in solving problems and making our (plus our families) lives easier. We walked into the reception and everything was done. I would not hesitate to have my wedding at the Cottonwood and speak the praises of Gabi and James. If you are considering the Cottonwood, it is worth it and the service is beyond expectation. James and Gabi - thank you again!
