Kimpton Marlowe Hotel

If you are looking to have a wedding, there are plenty of hotels in Boston to choose from. If you are looking for an experience that is completely tailored to you and that you will cherish forever, choose the Kimpton Marlowe! Where do I even begin?! What an amazing venue, made even better by the care and attention of its staff. Sydney and Nicola were both so attentive from start to finish throughout the planning process. We met Sydney about six months before our wedding after she had started at the hotel, and we could tell right away that she had the passion, experience, and attention to detail that we were looking for. We had A LOT of requests and questions throughout the planning process, and we never once felt like we were being overbearing or asking for too much. Every detail we asked for was carried out with so much care and intention. The setup was absolutely stunning, everyone had an amazing time, and the day-of coordination was impeccable. From the beginning, we told Sydney that we really wanted to maximize our time on the dance floor, and she completely understood that. At one point during the day, she told us we were ahead of schedule, and I could tell she was genuinely making it a priority to make that happen for us! She also did so many little things throughout the day that did not go unnoticed. She suggested having our saxophone player lead everyone into the reception, had food and drinks waiting for us so we could have a moment together before cocktail hour, and even had a plate of desserts set up at our table. Those small details meant so much and made us feel incredibly taken care of. I was very specific about where I wanted certain decor pieces placed, and the setup was honestly exactly what I had envisioned, but even more elevated. The food was also excellent — our guests were raving about it all night! We toured a lot of different venues, including several five-star hotels, and there are obviously so many beautiful places to get married in Boston. But for us, the Kimpton Marlowe was hands down the right choice. We are people who make very intentional decisions, and we truly feel a thousand times over that we made the right one choosing the Marlowe. Our wedding day was everything we hoped it would be, and we will always be so grateful to the entire Marlowe team for helping make it so special. The Kimpton Marlowe Hotel was the perfect place for our wedding! We worked with both Rachel & Sydney during the transition of positions and they were both amazing. The coordinators and their team were extremely detail-oriented and responsive. During the wedding weekend, there were very few hiccups, mostly with the room block (i.e. rooms not being ready on time) but it was also during the World Cup so it was a busy time at the hotel. We had also extended our room block which was very easy to do, and we were very grateful to have that option especially given FIFA. Otherwise, our wedding day itself went very smoothly from beginning to end. The location was extremely convenient, as we had our ceremony at a church in Boston, and there was plenty of parking with the CambridgeSide garage. We were close to the capacity of 200 guests (we had 180) but it didn't feel too tight at all. We also had the cocktail hour outside which was so beautiful. The food and drinks were excellent, and the packages were amazing and customizable which we appreciated. We would highly recommend the Kimpton Marlowe Hotel for a wedding!
