At the Palladian, we believe your wedding should be as unforgettable (and fabulous) as you are. Our boutique 97-room hotel tips its hat to Seattle’s iconic sub-pop scene, with just the right splash of Gatsby-era glam. Think rock star edge meets champagne dreams — and yes, your guests will feel like royalty the second they walk through our doors.
Smack dab between Belltown and downtown’s retail core, we’re steps from Pike Place Market, the Seattle waterfront, and some of the best places to sip, snack, and dance the night away. Hungry? You’ll find Shaker + Spear, our rave-reviewed seafood restaurant, right downstairs. Thirsty? Head to Pennyroyal, our sultry speakeasy-style lounge. Need a jaw-dropping lobby selfie? We’ve got you.
For more intimate “forever and ever” moments (up to 60 for a sit-down dinner or 70 for a cocktail bash), our Cellar on 2nd delivers moody brick walls, sleek white oak details, and cozy-chic vibes that practically beg for champagne toasts and epic dance moves.
Throwing a bigger bash? Enter the Glass House — a sun-drenched, high-ceilinged, artfully cool venue that can host up to 120 seated guests or 200 for a cocktail-style celebration. It’s just steps from the hotel, but trust us, it feels like its own little world.
And the food? Your guests will feast like rockstars, courtesy of the culinary genius behind Shaker + Spear. Planning? We’ll make it a breeze — and actually fun (seriously).
We can’t wait to throw you a wedding so good that people will still be talking about it at your 10-year anniversary party.

Really enjoyed my stay at the Kimpton Palladian 🏨 Super nice staff that are quick to greet you and answer any questions you have. Coffee and tea at the lobby are clutch in the mornings when you are on the go. Super close to Pike Place market a...
nd the stadiums if you are a sports fan or want to venture around downtown Seattle🍵☕. Fitness room is adequate in terms of equipment a set up for a quick workout, clean towels and water stations are always a plus. Restaurant next to the hotel is a plus, check it out for breakfast and a quick meal. Will have to come back for the speak easy one day. Rooms are compact and very clean and organized, loved that they have a variety of amenities on loan. So many pros, the only minor con was that bc it's an older building you can definitely hear the pipes and every little sound, doesn't affect your sleep though unless you are a night owl 🦉 like me.

We were charged $500 from a "smoke detector". We do not smoke. The reading was at 5am while we were well asleep. Still this charge was authorized by the district manager, during a weekend, who apparently doesn't work weekends according to the f...
ront staff?
Furthermore there was little to no hot water in the room's shower and bathtub and the in room coffee machine did not work.
Not a good time. I'm currently in the process of having to dispute charges with my bank. Do not stay here.

Context - I'm an IHG Platinum Elite & Chase Sapphire Reserve member and this hotel is part of the "Edit" assortment.
I was given a welcome letter signed by manager, Brian Evola, which highlighted the perks of being a Chase Travel "Edit" hotel....
The note clearly indicated a 4pm checkout for members who chose not to upgrade their room which I didn't since I wanted the 4pm checkout. Everything was fine at check-in, but the whole experience crumbled during the morning of checkout. I went to confirm the checkout time on the way to breakfast, and the front-desk lady politely did NOT honor the late check-out. I asked why and got all sorts of excuses like "it's cruise season", "it's world cup season" and they are completely sold out, and the latest I had to leave by was 1230p. I pulled up their own website to show King rooms are available which then led to another excuse that even though the website shows available, they are still booked, which made no sense. What?? Why don't you have an accurate website like every other hotel website so customers know the inventory for each night? I pushed back and the excuse changed to the HVAC not working in that floor. I countered by saying it was fine the last few nights I was in the room. All the while while they kept stating, this is "subject to availability" and I kept showing them plenty of signs of availability. They finally stated that the Welcome letter from the manager, Brian, is old and not updated. WELL, that's not my problem. I paid for this room with Chase and am entitled to all the benefits. I'm not responsible for your lack of keeping things organized. I wanted to convey this to manager but was told he's not available. After an uncomfortable back and forth, I had to push them to get a 130p checkout.
To Brian Evola, treatment of your premium clients like this is unacceptable. If you're not going to honor your obligations as s service provider to your customers, what is point of being in the hospitality industry?
On to the room - it was the 7th floor and the walls and felt paper thin. I could feel every vibration of every step and door close.
The bathroom shower stall doesn't close all the way and the water will constantly spill out and wet you floor. Not very safe because you can slip and fall without realizing the floor has been compromised.
Location is the only positive about this place. Walking distance to Pike Place Market, the waterfront, and a few popular restaurants.

Our stay was very unpleasant. We booked a room that included breakfast. On the first morning, breakfast was supposed to start at 7am, but we were told the chef was not here. They don’t know where the chef was. No chef, no food. We waited until ...
8am and breakfast still had not started. We had to leave and find something quick somewhere else. There was no apology and no compensation.
On the second day, we planned to have dinner at the hotel restaurant. When we went to the front desk in the early afternoon to make a reservation, the staff member was extremely rude. She told us the restaurant was fully booked because of an engagement party and said, “You don’t know?” as if it was our fault. How would we know? It is not our engagement?? Why are we getting an attitude? The hotel never informed us about this during our stay. They could have easily mentioned it when we checked in.
The customer service was very poor, and we will definitely not return. It is especially disappointing because I have stayed at many Kimpton across the country and have usually had good experiences.
