The Forum Hotel was great for my wedding guests. The communication was great regarding our hotel block and they were able to add more rooms when we needed them, which was a huge help and we really appreciated their flexibility. They did require us to be on the hook financially for the room block (it was not a football week - though my understanding was if we would’ve hosted an event here, it would be a free block). Still, everything was smooth from what I heard from the guests and the hotel itself is beautiful. Location is great too. The guests loved the huge windows and couldn’t wait to plan another visit as a getaway from DC. It would be a nice touch for them to throw in a drink at the bar or something for the bride and groom😂! However, my husband and I ended up booking at the hotel after the wedding weekend and when I emailed to let them know we were there, they gifted us a bottle of bubbly, which was a very nice touch. All in all, we had a great experience and love the hotel.
We also did not host any events here, but the facilities are really beautiful. The restaurant is delicious and the teahouse looking room is gorgeous.

We recently hosted our Indian wedding reception at Kimpton The Forum Hotel, and the experience was nothing short of extraordinary. While there were a few initial hiccups with the team before Ricky came onboard, once he took charge, everything fell perfectly into place. His attention to detail and commitment to excellence were evident in every aspect of the planning and execution.
Ricky played a pivotal role in making everything run smoothly. From our initial consultation to the final moments of our reception, Ricky worked closely with us, understanding our vision and preferences, and transforming them into a reality beyond our expectations. His calm and composed demeanor provided us with peace of mind, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the joy of the occasion.
The venue itself was stunning, with modern decor and a spacious layout that perfectly accommodated our guests. Every element, including the beautiful outdoor cocktail hour setup, was meticulously arranged to reflect the vibrant and traditional essence of our Indian culture. The culinary team at Kimpton Hotel also deserves a special mention; they took our Indian menu and added their own unique flare, creating a culinary experience that blew everyone’s minds. Initially, when we decided to have our reception here, we were very skeptical of the food and the taste, but the team really came through. The food was exquisite, offering a delightful fusion of flavors that left our guests raving. The next day, many of our guests praised the food.
Ricky’s expertise was particularly evident in his handling of the intricate details unique to Indian wedding receptions. He coordinated seamlessly with our vendors and especially with our wedding planner, ensuring that the music, food setup, bar setup, and staff were perfectly executed.
In conclusion, Kimpton Hotel and Ricky exceeded our expectations in every possible way. Their impeccable service, combined with Ricky's exceptional management, made our wedding reception a truly magical and memorable event.
