Kindred Event Studio

We hired Kindred Event Studio to plan our daughter’s wedding and chose the full service package since we were completely overwhelmed with the task of planning on our own. From the initial meeting, Emily put both me and my daughter at ease. Clearly she knew what she was doing and I rested well, knowing that my daughter’s special day was in the hands of a professional. Emily took time to get to know my daughter and her fiancé and was able to create a vision for the finished effect that not only fit their personalities but helped us create something beautiful while also staying within our budget. Throughout the entire planning process Emily was thoughtful and thorough. I can’t tell you how many times I said out loud to someone, “She’s worth every penny!” She was so well organized and communicated every detail to us flawlessly and even provided clear checklists of things we needed to do or purchase or even just remember. The day of the event, Emily was on time and her assistant was just as professional and helpful and she was. Emily was on it all day long and didn’t skip a beat! She kept us on schedule and ensured that everything was handled right to the bitter end when we drove away. All day long my daughter kept saying how much fun she was having and that she didn’t know what people were talking about when they said that their weddings were so stressful and that they didn’t get a chance to enjoy it or even eat. My girl enjoyed every moment of her special day and I credit Emily and her crew with that high praise! I can’t say enough about how pleased we are with Emily and her hard work. I’d hire her all over again! Thank you Emily from the bottom of our hearts! ♥️

After shopping a few different local wedding planners, I was thrilled to have chosen Kindred! Emily is so personable and made me feel comfortable right off the bat. The whole wedding planning process was smooth, even with constant changes from my side, and Emily was always incredibly flexible with me. Our wedding was absolutely stunning and despite the day of being windy, having tons of vendors to coordinate, and helping to deal with our dog of honor, Kindred gave us the most memorable day. I could not have been more grateful for Emily!

Connie was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was such a helpful resource for all things wedding planning and she was also a calming voice of reason when that was needed. The day of wean so smoothly and I know that was due in a large part to all of her running behind the scenes to make sure that it went off without a hitch. She is so excellent at her job. She was great and telling me and my groom what needed to happen next without being pushy and leaving plenty of room for our preferences. She was wonderful and I can’t imagine having done it without her support! Highly recommend!!

If I could any advice on wedding planning I would say get a wedding planner/coordinator!! We were blessed with Connie Dunn at Kindred Event Studio!! Where do I start?? Very professional and nice! My daughter was recently married at Old Bethany in Lorena, Tx. Connie took care of everything! She met with my daughter several times before the big day. She made a floor plan of seating and took care of setting EVERYTHING up. It was so nice i could be with my daughter the day of helping her get ready. I wasn’t running around moving tables or worrying about anything. Connie even thought to make them to go boxes of food which was so nice because my daughter said when they got to the hotel after reception they were starving . She thought of EVERYTHING! She gave us so many suggestions and really listened to Allison and to be sure she got what she wanted. She also made a timeline and sent to all the vendors to make sure everything went smoothly. We can’t thank Connie enough! Thank you for making our daughters special day more the we ever expected!
