Kindred North

Beautiful venue. Unfortunately, our experience was not positive. From the beginning after the owners made the sale with us, we were treated as an inconvenience. They were not flexible with their availability to discuss details or questions we had. We were given a very short time frame they could meet us to discuss details and it was during work hours. When asked if they could meet after work hours they said no, they need to respect their family time and dynamic. I would understand this, but to make the sale, they met us after hours giving an illusion they were more available. They seemed to hold a mentality of entitlement and failed to see that we were their customer. Very unprofessional in their communication and follow up. The coordinator was kind when we met her closer to our wedding day. However, she was unwilling to meet with us to do a walk through before the day of the wedding. I emailed her every single detail for the day of the wedding and she acknowledged that this was helpful, yet failed to reference the email when preparing the setup and missed out on some very important details we asked. She did not have a good or welcoming attitude the day of our wedding. She was not in a good mood and clearly did not want to be there. Our wedding set up was given the least amount of effort compared to the other weddings we have seen posted on their Instagram page. We paid a good amount for this venue and were not treated well or given their best effort. We chose not to use a lot of their offered services because of their poor attitude and treatment towards us. I’m disappointed on so many levels. They nickel and dimed us without taking responsibility for their services. They asked our other vendors to do what we were paying them to do. I wouldn’t recommend this venue to anyone. Feedback for them- pay attention to details, listen to your customer - they are why you are in business, treat everyone equally, lower your ego.

Kindred North was the venue of my dreams. From the moment I walked in and met with the owners and Tiphanie who would be my coordinator for the day, I knew everything was going to be taken care. They offered packages that allowed wedding planning to be one of the easiest things and honestly so much more fun! They took care of set up, all tables and flatware, florals, coordinating with ALL my vendors day off, and tear down. They not only took care of these things, but made my wedding absolutely seamless and look AMAZING. I HIGHLY recommend this venue and the packages that put any bride at ease. I was told I was a very “relaxed” bride but I give all the credit to the amazing Kindred team (and the Lord) because I didn’t have to stress about anything leading up to my big day. Best venue and best team I could ask for. Every guest talked about how beautiful the venue was as well. Blown away at the service and attention to detail in the small and big things

We had an absolutely beautiful wedding, but it had little to do with the actual venue and much more to do with our other incredible vendors and planning team. I desperately wish we had done more research before booking this venue - after talking to other people in the industry and other brides, I have come to find that our experience is not the only one of its kind with the team at Kindred North. Every other vendor we hired for our wedding was so kind, accommodating, and truly made us feel like we were the most important people they were talking to at the time. It was very evident that we and our happiness and the perfect wedding day were the priority for our other vendors. Kindred North, however, made it clear almost immediately that their priority was their business and their money. First, when we asked to do a walk-through with the property owners, we were told we would only be able to schedule one (not a problem once we hired a planner, but when we were trying to plan it ourselves, this made things VERY difficult and stressful for us as we had no idea where to even start when it comes to layout). Additionally, it is clear that they wanted us to book all of the services they offered (florals, video/photo, etc), but when I asked to meet about florals, they told me they wouldn't meet until 6-8 months prior to the wedding, but assured me that we would be making a mistake hiring any other florists because they were the least expensive. However, the other florists we met with were absolutely so accommodating and kind and WONDERFUL to work with, and actually eager to meet as soon as possible, and it made the money so worth it to have such a fantastic experience. Lastly, they were hard to connect with via email, and the only time we heard from them leading up to the wedding was about money and whether or not we'd be cleaning up after ourselves or if we wanted to pay them more to take care of that for us. They didn't ask if we need anything, reach out to schedule a walk-through, or just check in to confirm details. I also want to mention that the power went out in the bridal suite when my bridesmaids and I were getting hair and makeup done, with one artist noting that this is something that happens every single time they work a wedding at Kindred North. Also, they had a dart board set up in the groom's suite, but my husband pointed out to me that they only had one functioning dart. I know this may not seem like the worst of the worst when it comes to wedding vendor experiences, but compared to the other vendors we hired, this one left a really bad taste in our mouths and this is the only vendor-related regret we have of our big day.

Kindred North is the most beautiful venue with a fairytale like outdoor ceremony area. Our wedding was perfect and Samantha and Nick ensured we had a stress free, memory filled day. Couldn’t recommend them or the venue more!
