Kris & Amanda have been so amazing to work with and make you feel like family! They made so many of my ideas come to life and made decorating my wedding stress free! They made sure to help in every aspect of my wedding and had so many things to offer that I never even thought about! They were so responsive and made us feel at ease about everything! Every meeting we had was so productive, and reminded me how exciting it was to plan my wedding when I was so overwhelmed! I can’t recommend them enough!!! They really are the best!!! Want to hire someone that feels like family? Hire Kristi and her team (shoutout Lexi and Willis) and you won't be disappointed. I'm confident in saying my wedding wouldn't have happened without them. Not only did they ease my anxiety months before the wedding, but they kept me calm while the whole world was falling apart around us. Hurricane Helene put a HUGE damper on all wedding plans and they were right there with me every step of the way. They were flexible and so willing to help me make my wedding happen while they, along with the community, were dealing with their own disasters from the storms. The decor was beautiful, the florals were beautiful, and they really took time to listen to exactly what I was wanting in every detail. Thank you for being so AMAZING and helping us have a beautiful wedding despite all plans failing!

Kristy is amazing. She is very professional and great at what she does. She mingles with the guest and the party. She is like family. She has DJ’d both of my daughter’s weddings.

Working with Kris pre wedding was great, she is very responsive and helpful with far more than just DJ responsibilities. At the wedding however, we had another DJ there and he did not meet the expectations we had. Showing up wearing a baseball hat and shorts was a little disappointing, but not a huge deal in the grand scheme of things. We went over on a call with Kris exactly what songs we wanted to play and when, but pre ceremony he didn’t have them correct and said we “last minute changed them” which never happened. Leaving the ceremony we had to ask him to play the music, even though it had been clearly laid out. We sent cocktail hour and reception playlist a month prior to the wedding and he did not play either. I had specific songs we really wanted for cocktail hour and he started off with R&B, which we definitely did not want at all. my coordinator and I had to ask him numerous times to please open the dance floor, which he did not. 30 minutes later he did, with again the wrong playlist. I asked him to please play the playlist I sent to him and he told me no, he had other songs he was going to play first then play what we requested and had already sent out. Eventually the music was fine, but honestly he was just playing off of my Spotify playlist, so in hind side I would’ve saved my nearly $1000 and just played it myself and would’ve gotten the music we wanted the whole time. They were kind and stayed later then they were booked for, but the whole experience was highly disappointing.

This team absolutely rocked!!! I was crunched for time and ideas and they helped settle all of my concerns and gave me the best ideas. They had so much on deck as far as decorations and equipment! They are able to do so much and have the perfect energy for getting the job done. They even helped us pull together last minute missing items and smoothed over edges that would’ve otherwise caused havoc. They’re awesome and I would 10/10 recommend!

Amanda and Kristi are very professional. I could not recommend them enough! They made sure our day was smooth and stress free. I could not have asked for better coordinators and DJ! I also got their selfie station and flower package and I was blown away by all of it! They truly helped our day be as special as possible down to the very last minute! I can’t say enough amazing things about Kristy and Amanda. They truly go above and beyond for their clients. Kristy was our day of coordinator and I truly don’t know what we would have done without her! A few things inevitability didn’t go perfect on our wedding day, but she handled them with ease and I didn’t even know it had happened! 10/10 highly recommend!!!

if there was one thing i didn’t spend a second worrying about it was my dj. they were always available for questions and were very clear about how the night would go so i didn’t have to worry about a thing. they even called me to go over each special song to make sure everything was is the right order. we also had a last minute change in mother/son dance, which they didn’t hesitate to accommodate to. i couldn’t recommend a company more! we love kinkead performance!!

They did my officiating, coordinating and dj and were absolutely amazing with all of it!!!!

1000000/10 would recommend this team!!! They made our day the best day of our lives!! From the moment I met them I knew I was in luck. Kristi and Amanda have the easiest personalities to work with and are willing to go above and beyond to make everything perfect. From the coordination, to the DJ’ing, to wrangling my guest, and more, they knocked it out of the PARK! Any future events I have, I will make sure they are right there again to make it perfect. I don’t think the knot will let me type enough words in this box to describe how amazing Kris and her team is! Kris and her team were amazing and made our wedding come to life, even when we had a tornado warning. We had to change the wedding layout quickly but they did great when in a moment of stress and uncertainty. The sound of the ceremony music was great, as well as the coordination of the bride walk, the grand entrance, etc., and the dj music was so fun. Thank you ladies for having a blast with us :)

An amazing experience!! She was awesome. Always had music playing to keep the crowd entertained, super sweet and energetic(will dance with you!), and will also wipe your tears when needed! Kris made my wedding so special and I couldn’t be anymore thankful!

Kris, Amanda, and Lexi are truly the best. There is not enough time in the world to compliment them the way they deserve. They made our wedding go so flawlessly. They did so much more than they were asked, more than I even know about, made sure I was not stressed out, everything was handled so my husband and I could enjoy the day. Everything they set up was beautiful and they are so sweet. We had to change a huge detail very last minute. They reset the entire venue, made it beautiful, didn’t complain or hesitate one time if I changed something. They were genuinely happy to make me happy. My family and I are blessed to call them friends now. We love them. You MUST book them for your events!! I cannot recommend them enough.

Kris and Amanda were amazing! They were so involved with our wedding planning and made sure our day was perfect! We couldn’t have made the day be as amazing as it was without them!

We hired Kris and Amanda to DJ and coordinate our wedding in February and could not have done it without them. They were responsive to every question we had and made sure every little detail was taken care of (even the ones we didn’t know existed). The day came and we knew we could sit back and enjoy it, as they ran around keeping everything together and everyone where they needed to be. The music was great and they even got out on the dance floor to encourage others to let loose. If you haven’t hired a coordinator, hire these ladies, it’s so worth it. Thank you Kris and Amanda!

We used Kris and Amanda with Kinkead Performance and Events for our coordinating and our DJ and I 100% CANNOT RECOMMEND THEM ENOUGH. They were so so incredible. Rain came in the day of our rehearsal dinner and the chances continued to increase for the day of the wedding, so we had to use our plan B for the ceremony. Kris and Amanda put together floral arrangements THAT NIGHT for an arch we hadn’t planned at all and it turned out so beautifully. They are such great, genuine, and friendly people that I am so thankful to have met and have as a part of our wedding day and planning process. Everything went so smoothly without any stress and I wouldn’t change a thing. If you are hesitant or deciding between a day of coordinator, DO IT and use them, they took so much stress off of me and my now husband and just made the whole process so much easier and less overwhelming ❤️❤️

Kris and her son Willis are simply the best duo there is. Kris made the music planning and even the ceremony and reception schedule, so easy. She went above and beyond with her advice and I can’t say thank you enough. And Willis made sure our playlist was great, and stuck to our wishes about certain types of music. Truly a night to remember, a big part of it thanks to them!!

Kinkead Performance accepted our booking request so very last minute after we were scammed by our original DJ TWO weeks before our destination wedding, therefore we'll forever be grateful. Everyone involved is incredibly kind and reliable! They'll play any song you request and make sure the bride & groom, as well as guests, are having a great time! Everything was great & we're very appreciative.

I can’t say enough amazing things about Kristi and her DJ services. She saved us from a disaster (our first DJ went Mia last minute). Not only did she help us in a pinch, but she went above and beyond. She met with us, had all of the songs, was so thorough to understand our entire wedding so she could really serve as a day of coordinator. We absolutely loved her as a person and a DJ. She even took videos and pics and sent us so many amazing shots. I can’t recommend her enough, truly an amazing experience and a fantastic human!!!

These guys did a great job at our wedding. They were super helpful with the preparation and planning and were very helpful and flexible as the wedding went on. There were several times where they had to make quick changes on the fly and they handled them perfectly. I would definitely recommend them for any DJ needs.

Communication and positive vibes was high on our wish list and Kris & Chris had those in spades! Awesome in everything we asked of them, questions to suggestions! I could not say in words what a joy it was to meet them, hire them and enjoy their skills on pur special day! They understand that each couple is unique and they try to Taylor towards that for their event!

I could have never asked for a better DJ! Kris really knew what she was doing and brought alot of life to the day. Even when she was injured and sore she pulled threw and still brought a wonderful light to our day. Kinkead performance and events was an absolute BLAST! Kristi made us feel like a part of her family from the minute we reached out. She was our DJ, but she felt like our best friend. She helped us navigate our music style to pick the best songs for both us and our guests. The dance floor was a hit! More importantly to us, Kristi made an effort to make all of our guests feel included. She would queue up a song, and then she’d join the dance floor and party along with our guests. She made sure that no one danced alone, and that was incredibly meaningful! She was also constantly offering help throughout our engagement. She helped us with so many vendor recommendations along the way. We love love love Kinkead Performances & Events. You will too!

Kris and Amanda are absolutely phenomenal!!! These two ladies work so hard in everything they do and will make you feel so special and loved throughout the entire wedding planning process. My only regret was that I didn’t hire them sooner. They planned and put everything together for my big day, did everything they said they would, stayed in touch with me daily, we always easy to get ahold of and always made sure my thoughts and feelings came before anyone else’s. I couldn’t have asked for two better people to help me with my wedding. I also used Kris for her dj skills on my wedding day which was always just perfect. She is super fun and upbeat and interacts with the guests. She made the wedding so much fun played great music and took requests, I would absolutely hire her again to dj. You won’t be disappointed with these ladies they are truly the best.

She has everyone out on the dance floor and knows exactly what to do and when to do it. The photo booth was a big hit for our Sweet 16 party as well! Amazing! She was able to get everyone on the dance floor!! Kris got out there leading the steps and everyone joined in- even our wedding planner Amanda got out there with us. Kris has the best personality and we were so happy she was there not only as our DJ but so much more! Talk about someone going above and beyond there job and giving it 110% I highly recommend for any event! Kris and her awesome husband made our day perfect!

I’ve hire this vendor for DJ services for my daughter’s sweet 16 party, for a prom and for a few other events. I have tried other DJs in the area and they just do not measure up to Kristi. She will always be my “go to” DJ.
