She is married to a great nerd (like herself) named David and they have a fur baby named Moses, a pup named Cedrick Doggery and 4 chickens, laying fresh eggs daily. Hello there friends my name is Krista and I am a life long Seattlite. I grew up in a family where holidays and special occasions were a big deal with good food on the table, beautiful handmade decorations about the house, and live music coming from the living room. I caught the “party planning bug” from my mom. My first event I ever planned was a Halloween party in the 4th grade where I invited the entire class. I spent weeks cleaning out the old garage of my Mom’s 1920’s home to create the spookiest haunted house in town. My childhood friends still remembered it when we were at our 10 year high school reunion!
Just in case you were wondering....- The name Kita came from my baby cousin, who 20 years ago could not say Krista…I wear that nickname proudly!-I may have a borderline addiction to peanut butter. So if you see me in the kitchen with a spoonful of peanut butter… just walk away slowly!-I love to dance and have been known to cut a rug at the most unexpected moments!-I met Robin Williams in “Old Portland”.-I have never been able to wink an eye or raise an eyebrow and it makes me truly jealous!-My favorite anonymous quote is “Love life and life will love you back!”

We can not be more thankful for Kita and her team putting together our wedding. The only thing we had was a theme: a galaxy/celestial themed wedding. From there we no idea where to start, what to do. Kita and her team really worked so hard with us to turn our dream wedding into a reality. They took the load off of us completely making this whole process smooth and stress free. We made a comment "we pretty much just want to show up" and with that they took the control we needed them to! We have never been more thankful for the full service wedding planning that was provided to us. Our wedding night turned out to be out of this world!

Kita Events was incredible and really went above and beyond to make our day special. From the planning phase through the day of the event you really get world class service from Kita Events. Additionally, they had incredible taste and helped setup our wedding and venue so everything was beautiful not to mention ran smoothly. I highly recommend Kita Events for not just wedding planning but also wedding dress shopping I cannot recommend them enough, really amazing service and wonderful people! Candie was our wedding coordinator for our wedding this past weekend and let me tell you she did everything and MORE! I gave her very detailed information on how i wanted our decor setup and she succeeded in everything! I can't even explain how thankful i am for everything she did for me. We hired Krista and the team at Kita events to manage our wedding day with the Gold Key package - it was worth every penny! Krista was an absolute pleasure to work with. She’s knowledgeable, organized, and helpful. You can tell she’s seasoned, and it put me at ease. We had a couple situations that needed creative problem solving and she just took care of it, made the calls, and found a solution. She was available and responsive, her proactive communication was so appreciated. The lead-up planning was top-notch. Then her rehearsal and day-of management were even more fantastic. Krista has a warm, calm, and positive energy - exactly what a bride needs on her big weekend. She led the rehearsal so eloquently - our wedding party (who have been in many weddings) was super impressed. On the wedding day she was behind the scenes making everything flow, coordinating with all of the vendors - I didn’t have to lift a finger. The run-of-show was seamless, she was in lock-step with our venue manager, photographer, DJ, and various musicians. And to close, after a long day (we had a New Year’s Eve wedding so it went late!), she and her team broke down and aggregated our rentals, and packed up our personal decor (there was a lot). I cannot recommend Kita Events more, we had a wonderful experience.

Krista is the most amazing event planner in the Pacific Northwest!!
She takes all the stress and worry off your shoulders and makes everything feel okay. She is hands down the only person that gives Genuine and personable service in this industry. She cares about every single one of her employees and treats them so well. Her dress shop is absolutely gorgeous and filled with so many breathtaking dresses. I could go on and on and on about how incredible Kita events Northwest is! But you’ll just have to see for yourself. Believe me you will not be disappointed. This is a company worth investing in!

Krista was very helpful in planning our wedding, we changed our minds to elope in 2021 instead of a large ceremony in 2022 with only a couple months notice and it went over wonderfully. The elopement went well and was cherished by my husband and I.

I have had the honor of working with Kita Events several times over the last 3 years. As the venue coordinator at Rosehill Community Center it's always nice to have vendors come into the building that we know will respect and honor our rules and regulations. Krista is always professional, along with excellent communication skills. I always feel relief when I see that a couple have hired Kita to help with their event.

Our Wedding was 7-13-21, Krista was more than a day of coordinator she made timeliness, outlines, and reached out to each vendor a few weeks ahead of time. She was nothing short of professional and pleasant to work with. Day of the wedding she handled every concern, vendor, chaos, fires, etc without ever alerting us that anything was amiss. She communicated decor changes and creative ideas and made sure we were happy with the end result. She even entertained my aunts! If you need day of services don't look further, this is your company and Krista is your gal.

Krista is exceptional. We hired her as our day of coordinator, but she did so much more! She is extremely organized, and I felt supported by her through the whole process. I was married at a destination venue, so Krista was there the day before my wedding and ran the whole show at our rehearsal. We had a few groomsmen who were getting rambunctious and she put a polite end to that quickly. I loved it! She had an assistant on the day of the wedding. I had already showed her where the decor needed to go, and she was so meticulous on decorating and making sure everything was perfect. She even called me with a few ideas on what to do with some excess flowers and vases, where she lined the isle at the ceremony making it look so beautiful. At the event she was there for me at every turn, magically making the whole show run smoothly behind the scenes. The wedding and event went off without a hitch and all of our guests raved about what an amazing job she did and how incredibly professional she was. At the end of the night they broke everything down and had it all packed away for a quick and easy pickup by us in the morning. I cannot express my gratitude enough, and I would recommend her to anyone looking for an amazing day of coordinator.
