I cannot say enough about this wonderful company.I had a 40 year old veil that was stained and discolored . We were told by a well known bridal store that no way it could be restored. Not only did the stains come out but the veil was restored to its original white ! A family run business that now feels like our family. Thank you.

Melissa and those who helped clean my daughters wedding dress at Pinstripes are absolutely amazing! My daughters dress had accidentally brushed up against a car tire and had black stains down the front. I took it to a different cleaners first and they were unable to get the stains out, but Pinstripes did it!!! My daughter gets married in 6 days and her wedding dress looks absolutely gorgeous! Thank you Melissa!! 😊

Kite's Cleaners is the best! I used them to heirloom my wedding dress (36 years ago), and my daughter and son's baptismal outfits. They did a superb job. Recently, my daughter took her bridal picture and unfortunately while steaming the dress to remove a few wrinkles a small amount of mold that we didn't notice on the steamer got on her dress. She has not even walked down the aisle yet and the stain, even though small, looked like it covered the dress. I immediately knew who to call for help. I only hoped and prayed Kite's was still doing this type of work to save the dress. Well, I called and was referred to Melisa. I brought the dress in and she put a rush on it as we are just a few weeks away from the wedding day (Feb 26, 2022). She and Kite's managed to remove the stain. I am so grateful they know what they're doing. Now the dress looks great. I believe my daughter wants to heirloom her dress as well so we'll be back in a few weeks to have that done. BRIDES!!! We already go through so much stress let steaming/washing/preserving the least of your struggles. I cannot recommend Kite's enough! They steamed, washed, prepped, and preserved my wedding dress! Highly recommend!!!

Melissa and Kite’s Wedding Gown Specialists swooped in to save the day when I found a large stain on the front of my wedding gown after having it steamed by another vendor. They were able to get the stain out and steam out all of the wrinkles from my gown and veil. My wedding gown looks so beautiful! Their customer service is impeccable and I was able to have everything done in just a week! Such a wonderful experience during such a stressful time. I cannot recommend Kite’s Wedding Gown Specialists enough!

Everyone at Kite's is AMAZING. We had some last- minute issues with my dress that we were trying to fix, which was my mom's dress redesigned. My mom called all the way from Austin, and Melissa and her team not only made the time in their busy schedule to do a very quick turnaround restoration on the dress in the two weeks before my wedding, they also managed to restore it to an even brighter white than the first restoration we had done! It looked exactly like it did originally, according to my mom. I had been in tears over the dress issues, and they made everything so much better. By the time they were done, any tears I had were tears of joy! It all worked out, and the dress was beautiful - I can't thank them enough! They're all angels and the kindest people - you can't go wrong here!!!

For 50 years, 14 moves, blizzards & scorching heat, my wedding dress was stored in attics, basements & crawl spaces in the orig restoration box. My wonderful hubby has agreed to recreate our favorite wedding picture. I obviously needed an expert in wedding dress restoration. Luckily for me, I found the amazing, charming & so talented Melissa at Kite’s Wedding Gown Specialists. She carefully got my dress out of the box only to discover the lace was extremely yellowed - more like orange, ugh, the fabric had age spots, ( kinda like the bride ) and was going to need a miracle to bring it back. Three weeks later, Melissa sent me a picture of my dress. I cried tears of pure joy when I saw that picture! It actually looks BRAND NEW!!! Two days later, I received a video of my dress, before and after! More tears of joy! I believe the photos and video will be on their website also. I used kites wedding gown specialist to restore the original color of my mothers wedding dress, so I could get it altered for myself. Let me tell you, the dress looked just as white as the pictures I have of my mother wearing it over 35 years ago! They were also fast, friendly and answered all my questions and concerns while putting my needs first. I absolutely recommend them to anyone who needs their vintage gown restored ❤.

Kite’s saved my day! The day I picked up my dress, I cut my finger and got blood on it. Took it straight to Kite’s and they got it all out. I was a disaster and they helped me feel that it would all be alright, and it was!

Melissa at Kite's Cleaners was absolutely AMAZING!! My daughter was originally going to get married 1,000 miles from home but changed her mind after the dress had already been purchased. When the dress arrived in Texas it needed to be pressed and freshened up for the big day. I made a call to Kite's and Melissa answered the phone. She took care of everything for us! We only had 3 days before the wedding and Melissa was able to make the dress PERFECT! So glad we made the call! THANK YOU Melissa for going ABOVE and BEYOND for us!!

Cannot put into words how impressed I am with the work Kite's Wedding Gown Specialists were able to do on my silk Haley Paige gown and Haute Bride accessories. I waited a full year after my wedding to even look at my gown and get it cleaned/preserved, so I was sure that the stains could not be removed, but my gown and accessories look brand new again. It is nerve-wracking to drop off such a special gown and trust someone to clean and preserve it, but Tammy at Kite's made the experience so personal and enjoyable. My dress and accessories are packed in a box with a viewing window and I believe they will last for generations. Highly recommend Kite's!

I could not be more thrilled with the restoration of my great grandmother's wedding dress from 1905. It is absolutely beautiful!!!! I also wore the dress for my own wedding in 1988. The dress was ivory silk with white lace but had yellowed to a mustard color the past 23 years due to having been displayed in the open air in a museum. In fact, I did not know the lace was originally white until it was treated because the lace had already yellowed to the color of the silk when I wore it for my wedding. Evidently, two toned ivory/white was very fashionable with Edwardian wedding dresses in 1905. Carl Bear at Kite's Cleaners Alta Mere location used special chemicals to bring the dress back to its original color permanently. However, there were two small rust stains on the dress that could not be treated due to the dress being too fragile. Carl steamed the dress and displayed it in Kite's Wedding Gown Room on a form for me to view before it was to be wrapped in acid free tissue paper and put in a window box. I cannot say enough what a thrill it was to walk in the Wedding Gown Room and see this special 106 year old gown displayed in such beautiful fashion its original glory. Even though it is boxed now, I am able to take it out with special gloves any time. I could not have asked for better caring service concerning my treasured dress. Carl and the rest of the staff was great. I was pretty nervous about putting the fragile dress in someone else's hands, but I am so glad I did...this special heriloom will now be preserved for a long time.
