Kleinfelds was awesome to work with. There’s a reason they’ve been in business for a long time – they know exactly what they’re doing. Prior to this fitting I had probably tried on 50+ dresses and was feeling defeated – but the staff here knows what they were doing and were willing to work with my budget (which I presume is lower than most people who walk in here). My “say yes to the dress” moment was straight out of an episode on TLC.

I had an incredible experience getting my dress at Kleinfeld. My initial appointment was amazing - I met Randy Fenoli AND he picked out my wedding dress (one of his designs)!! He made me feel so special and we got some amazing pictures. The staff was also so friendly and professional. My consultant who did my alterations was also amazing. He was so knowledgable and had me record a whole video of him explaining my bustle so we wouldn't forget! I would highly recommend Kleinfeld!!

Kleinfeld was a magical and beautiful experience from the day I came for my scheduled appointment. I had been to 5 different places prior. The ’moment when Sharon the best sales person recommended me a dress I had not even mentioned to her prior, I knew that was the dress. I chose the Allure Dress - Belle Collection and Veil. During fittings , I was given a recommendation on gorgeous gloves from Blossom Brand as well that I took.
The fittings process was a wonderful experience and left me with no worries or concerns. I went to not 2 but 3 total fittings. The precise look and fit went perfect from the alteration, hemming and bustling of the A-line ball gown I chose.
I would highly recommend Kleinfeld to all brides as they most definitely live up to their long standing and known name from their our favorite TV show “Say Yes to the Dress”. They constantly prove themselves time and time again. Kleinfeld will forever be a wonderful memory a dream. 🤍👰🏻♀️🥲

Shopping at Kleinfeld was an absolute DREAM. Chloe and Amber helped me find my dress and made the entire experience simply unforgettable. Alterations at Kleinfeld was time consuming because I had to drive into the city five extra times (four fittings and pickup appointment), but it was worth it. My dress needed a moderate amount of alterations and I knew that if I stayed with Kleinfeld for alterations, they would get it done right. Even Kleinfeld had a relatively significant mistake made when altering my dress- but you better believe the head of alterations was in that room so fast when it was discovered at my next fitting. It was fixed and perfect. They let me come in for a fourth fitting to be extra sure it was perfect. I loved shopping at Kleinfeld. They really are the best of the best with styling advice, alterations, and the overall shopping experience. True professionals at EVERY turn.

I went to Kleinfeld because it seemed like a must during the wedding dress shopping process. I ultimately found my dress there, but was so overwhelmed by the experience. I would not recommend trying dresses on here if you are self conscious trying clothing on in front of random people. You try dresses on and then walk out into a big room full of other brides and their support system. It feels competitive and weird. However, after you find the dress Kleinfeld was incredible when it came to a one stop shop for veils and alterations. Also, when you pick up your dress it feels so protected and safe.

Such a great experience in NY! Found my dress without meaning to-but it was the time and place and everything aligned! The staff are so kind and listen to your dreams about your dress. They shipped it with care all the way to WA 2 months before my wedding. It's an absolutely gorgeous gown by Martina Liana! Thank you Kleinfelds!

Kleinfelds was the second bridal salon I went to and I went with an open mind, though was not expecting to find my dress at that point. My bridal consultant, Michelle, listened to exactly what I liked and didn't like and I fell in love with a Randy Finoli dress.
Upon returning for my fitting appointments, I had the pleasure of working with Josephine who was knowledgeable and warm. I cannot rave enough about how wonderful my experience was at Kleinfelds.

Stay away! We had an awful experience at the salon and after with our purchase, which we have yet to receive or hear any updates about 5.5 months later. Very unprofessional, had to wait 30mins past the required 15 minutes prior to the appointment- they bring you back like a cattle call. We had a budget of 10,000 and we were put in an alcove in the back without adequate seating, we were not offered water (others were offered water and more). Don’t waste your time or money!!! This is NOT a Say Yes to the Dress experience!!!

I’m sure I’m one of a million brides that would say I came to Kleinfeld because of “Say Yes to the Dress,” but I am genuine when I say that the experience lived up to my dreams! I went to Kleinfeld initially in May of 2022. My consultants were thoughtful of the budget and understood my vision immediately. The first dress my consultant pulled was “the one!” I got to live out my dream of being a Pnina bride! I felt so beautiful and special from the moment I walked in those doors to the wedding day. Kleinfeld was a dream come true!

No stars from me if I could, sorry. Seeing as I am (I guess was now) a very big fan of the show, Say Yes to The Dress, naturally I was excited about going to Kleinfeld. I even received two consultants for my appointment; unfortunately, I don’t think the two of them got along very well. I felt some tension there. To make matters worse, I was only put into two dresses and then told “well we don’t have anything that’ll beat those two.” That was basically my entire experience despite being in the salon for two hours. My family, who flew in from California for this appointment, thinks the consultant wanted to make a big sale because one of the dresses I selected was a lot more than my initial budget and my family said if I loved it, then they would make it happen. Fortunately, I knew that dress wasn’t the one and I just honestly hope that wasn’t what the consultant was trying to do. Of course I can’t be sure, but I happen to think they just weren’t interest in helping me. Everyone has bad days, I guess, but I really wanted the expertise of a Kleinfeld consultant and I did not receive that.

I had the BEST experience at Kleinfeld. I got married 9/16/23 and wore my DREAM DRESS. Jacqueline helped me and was fabulous she made sure I left with a Pnina Tornai. I didn’t get to meet pnina which I wish I could have but I still loved every minute of my visit! I got to meet Ally and Zoey as well who helped me decide on my Pnina head piece and Pnina veil! I ended up buying my wedding shoes from her as well at kleinfeld. The whole experience was a dream and I’m so grateful and happy I was able to be a pnina and kleinfeld bride! It was something Iv dreamed of since I was young!

Due to covid precautions I could only bring 3 guests with me and I had to pick dresses to try in advance. This actually ended up helping us make the most of our time (90 minute time slots). I absolutely loved the first dress I picked but it was at the very top of my budget, which was making me unsure. I asked our stylist to just pick 1-2 dresses that were totally different than what I picked just to help me solidify my decision on the expensive dress. Well let me just say I’m so glad I did!!! She had me try on a ball gown after I had only picked trumpets/mermaids and I fell in love.
Madalyn Hair was our stylist (she’s no longer with Kleinfeld). She helped me pick the most beautiful and extravagant veil, headpiece, and shrug. The entire look of all the pieces together made me feel like I had been styled by an ice queen, I love love love it.
The best part of all may have been our lovely and talented seamstress, Leida. The fact that Kleinfeld charges a flat fee for alterations was really comforting because my dress was enormous and I am very petite. She even was able to attach a bow from my mothers 35 year old wedding dress to my dress, which was the icing on the cake. That woman is pure talent. My dress and veil were presented in perfect, wrinkle free condition, all ready for my big day.
Honestly the entire process was seamless. I felt that there was great value with the money we spent. Highly recommend.

We were very pleased with our Kleinfelds experience! It is a lovely space filled with beautiful confections of dresses!! My daughter Alana was paired with Michelle who is a strikingly beautiful woman who exudes confidence & expertise! She is the epitome of who you would want working with you here-very kind, patient & knowledgeable . My daughter Alana said yes to her dress here!! I highly recommend Michelle to aid you in finding your dress. It was a lovely pressure free experience!!

I had the worst possible experience ever with my bridal gown. The name definitely did not live up to the expectation. I went shopping for a dress at Kleinfeld 13 months prior to my wedding and “said yes” at the first appointment. It was a wonderful day, but little did I know what was to happen about 10 months later.
About 3 months before my wedding, I got the call that my dress was in. I made an appointment right away, so excited to finally see my gown that I waited 10 months for.
I arrived at my first appointment, and when they put the gown on, it was so snug that I could barely breathe, let alone walk. My seamstress suggested that maybe I had gained weight or muscle (which I did not as evidenced by when they remeasured me and my measurements were identical). After reviewing the notes from my first visit, the manager of the alterations department apologized, as the store had ORDERED THE WRONG SIZE DRESS! They apologized and said there was nothing they could do about it because they could not get another dress in time, and that we had to work with what we had.
To correct the huge error they made, I had to travel to Kleinfeld for not three but FIVE alterations appointments. Each appointment, some new problem arose: losing one of the detachable straps, never making my blusher that was also ordered during my first appointment and on my receipt, etc.
I thought we were finally in the clear when I picked up my wedding dress, which they claim is “quality control checked and thoroughly pressed/steamed” and that you should leave in the bag until the morning of. To my surprise, I took out the veil which was again “checked by quality control” and there was a huge rip in my blusher, right in front of my face.
It ended up being a beautiful day, marrying the love of my life with our family and friends there to celebrate. However, Kleinfeld was by far the worst vendor we dealt with, and they caused us the most stress throughout the planning process. I absolutely do not recommend anyone go there, they are not even returning phone calls to reimburse us for the damaged blusher which was only $100!!

Kleinfeld's made me feel like a princess! My stylist listened to what I wanted and the second I saw the dresses she pulled, I knew she hit the nail on the head. Their gowns are gorgeous and the level of customer service, especially during the try-on appointment, is unbeatable. I could not have asked for a more perfect experience, and loved the dress I bought!
I also recommend doing the fittings at Kleinfeld's if you can. I had a pretty form-fitting dress, and the seamstress made it fit my body like a glove. I got multiple compliments during my wedding on how the dress fit me because the tightness, length, etc. was all so perfectly suited to me. I really do think that expert tailoring like Kleinfeld's provides makes a dress look 10x nicer because it will fit you like a dream.

The buying process was lovely and I had a great experience with Candance that day... That's where everything good ends. For starters, I ordered and paid for my dress on March 24, 2022. I was notified that it had come into Klenfield on March 20, 2023. My wedding was July 8, 2023. I paid around $1,000 for what I was told were as many alterations appointments I needed in order for the dress to fit perfectly. My first fitting was fine. When I went in for the second fitting the dress was still falling off of me. A manager came to ask me if I had lost weight. I hadn't. Nothing was done to the dress since the first fitting. So the alterations person pinned it again. When I came for my 3rd fitting (which was supposed to be my final fitting) once again the dress had to be taken in a ton and I was told, because the dress was STILL falling off, that I had to have straps added. I didn't want straps in the first place. They then tried to CHARGE ME for the straps they were adding because they couldn't fit my dress properly. I finally got over the straps and picked up the dress. I was told I couldn't try it on or take it out of the bag until the day before the wedding. To which I responded, "What if it still doesn't fit?" And sure enough, on the day, it still didn't fit AND the straps that I didn't want broke during my ceremony. I spent my entire wedding pulling my dress up. I still cry about how awful I felt in the dress that day and about all of the photos I have of my straps peeking out of my dress or clearly just broken.

I cannot imagine having picked my dress anywhere else. The atmosphere, cleanliness, attentiveness, choices can’t be beat. I booked a platinum VIP appointment which gave me 3 hours, champagne, a robe to take home, private room, and an extra person to bring. I don’t regret spending the extra money for the VIP appointment. It was worth every penny. Gabby was my consultant and I can’t say enjoy good things about her. I was completely unsure of the style and the very first dress she brought in was it. She listened, she knew my body type and what would look good, and gave me the room the name the decision without being pressured. She even got Dorothy (always on the show) to ask me the big question. It was a dream come true.

When it came to looking for my wedding dress, I knew I had to visit Kleinfeld! The experience of just being there is amazing, and lucky for me, I found my dream dress there. The entire process was super easy and fun! Each person I worked with was amazing, and made me feel like a princess in preparation for my big day! I went in with not much expectations of what I would want, and Antonella really picked the dress for me! I even got to be lucky enough to meet my dress designer, Pnina Tornai which is something I’ll never forget!

Like a lot of other girls I grew up watching Say Yes to the Dress and going to Kleinfeld was a dream of mine. The experience from start to finish did not disappoint! I had Paula as my consultant and I am blown away by how knowledgeable, professional and kind she is. My mom was unable to make my appointment due to COVID restrictions so we were provided an iPad so that she could be there virtually! Paula was sensitive to the fact that my Mom couldn't be there and gave me tons of space and time in moments that I started to get overwhelmed. She kept the appointment focused and really helped me to narrow down what my exact vision is. She ended up pulling THE dress for me to try and we knew it was the one! Paula was so patient and helpful I can't recommend her enough. Loretta in alterations was amazing. Her attention to detail is unmatched and she did not stop until the dress was PERFECT. She was so kind and really made me feel like a princess. I am so grateful to her. All in all I stayed within my budget, didn't feel pressured to go above or below it and felt that everything was super organized and smooth from start to finish. They are absolute professionals there and you have the reassurance that you are in good hands!

My personal experience with Kleinfeld did not go well. They were very kind and understanding to me at first, and when I arrived at my first appointment, I saw a few dresses. I liked one dress, but I was still unsure. I decided to pay $100 for a second appointment. My consultant received a few pictures of the dresses I liked, and I circled one particular dress in my mind because I wanted to try it on. When I arrived at the second appointment there were two dresses there, the one I tried on at the previous appointment as well as the one I circled. I paid an additional $100 for the opportunity to try on more dresses. When I wanted to try on more dresses, I felt some tension and irritation. After trying on this dress, I felt extremely overwhelmed by the shopping process, dresses that didn't fit my body in basically everything, and I decided to put a down payment on a dress I did not even like. I was rushed into signing the contract and rushed into the financial room to make a deposit. After making a deposit, I looked at the pictures and decided that the dress didn't suit me! I made a quick decision, but canceled my dress within 48 hours, and was charged 20% of the deposit, which is SO UNFAIR and a rip-off! Kleinfeld is a complete rip-off. I was charged $700 for a dress that probably wasn't ordered yet! The worst thing about the entire experience was that they told me they would charge $400 due to my larger size. They gave me a $200 “discount”. Knowing that plus sized women are paying more for their size was a horrible experience. This was both demeaning and HORRIFIC for me. Needless to say, I will never recommend Kleinfeld.

Having been a past staff member of Kleinfeld, I knew I had to go back to get my wedding gown... and it didn't disappoint. The experience for my family and myself was extraordinary. Lisa was wonderful to work with when selecting the gown, Zoe went above and beyond when selecting the veil (which received RAVE reviews) and Loretta in alterations was professional, personable and exemplar at her job. As a plus size bride, there is a stigma when going to try on gowns. I was able to try on more gowns than I ever expected all while staying within my budget. The whole experience from selection through alterations and pick up was wonderful.

The best dress experience from start to finish. I lived in Tampa and flew all the way there and found the most amazing dress. I was able to make all the changes and I wanted and even got to meet my designer, Pnina Tornai. It was truly a once in a lifetime experience and I LOVED my dress, jewelry, veil and tiara.

I had an incredible Kleinfeld experience from start to end. I found my dress through bridal consultant Madalyn Hair, and I found it on my first day of shopping! Madalyn quickly picked up on what my vision was, and found me a dress that was a dream. The alterations process was seamless, Josephine was beyond talented. When my dress came in from the designer missing applique on the sleeves, the head of alterations fixed the issue in no time and my dress ended up looking perfect. I got so many compliments on my dress and veil. Accommodating, talented, and high quality customer service.

I had of course watched Say Yes to the Dress leading up to my dress shopping experience, but was a disillusioned throughout my experience with Kleinfelds. I did have Kristi as my consultant in Nov 2021, and she was very nice, but with a budget cap of $2k it did feel like they just wanted to get through the appointment and get me out the door, since I clearly wasn't going to be a big spender. If you are looking for individual attention, or to feel valued, you need a big budget it seems. I was also put in a dress over $1k above my budget, which is kind of a no-no I thought? I was still very happy to have found a beautiful dress (below budget too!) and I wouldn't change that for the world, but I only tried on 5 before they kind of pushed for a decision, even though this was first wedding dress shopping experience ever. After getting my dress in, they were accommodating in holding my dress an extra 2 months before fittings, since my actual wedding date ended up being later than the original estimated date. My fitter Suzana was also nice, but throughout the process it didn't always feel like I was being heard about how certain things were fitting, and some of the work with the lace and appliqués looked a little rough up-close, even at the very end. Some of the lace was almost pilled, and even though I mentioned it multiple times, the arm holes were still super high (like right up IN my armpit) to the point that I still got chafing even with an anti-chafing gel in those areas. I'm very small and thin, and didn't have anything to hide or cover in that area, so not sure why it was cut so high up. There was also an unfinished split edge in the armpit where the fitter cut the lace to give me more space (like 1/2"), but never sewed it down. Lastly, and probably the most disappointing, was that when they packed my dress, they didn't utilize the hanging loops right (I didn't realize it at the time) so all of the dress and paper stuffing weight was entirely on the lace straps. (Also super weird- they almost gave me another bride's veil by accident by packing 2 veils in my dress bag). When I opened the dress bag again on the day of my wedding, one strap had ripped apart at what was clearly a very poorly-done seam on the top of the strap. My hair dresser luckily saved the day and sewed it back together, but it wasn't overall the experience I had hoped for from Kleinfelds. What keeps my rating at 3 stars is my dress alone, since despite the fit issues, it was truly gorgeous and I felt so beautiful in it on my wedding day. I would say maybe go for the fun of the experience if you love the show or have a big budget, but do some other shopping around as well to make sure you get the dress and experience you really want for your wedding day. It should be about you feeling special and beautiful!

I went in October of 2020 to find my dress, and I had Lisa as a consultant. She was incredible--attentive to detail, listened to what I had to say, highly knowledgeable, gave great advice but also made sure the dress was what I wanted, and made sure everything I tried on was in budget. The store itself was beautiful, and I appreciated the COVID-19 safety restrictions. I had Dasia as my fitter, and she was incredible as well. She was kind, knowledgeable, helpful, fun, attentive to detail, and made sure I was comfortable. My dress was absolutely stunning and fit me perfectly on my wedding day.

I have watched ‘Say Yes to the Dress’ forever and I must say that my experience exceeded all expectations. My consultant Chloe was amazing. I told her what I wanted and she hit it out of the park! I was overjoyed with my experience! I was expecting to feel rushed and pressured, given that this is one of the most reputable, biggest stores in nyc. It couldn’t have felt more intimate! Gabi, my consultant, was so sweet. She asked me questions about me and my fiancé before jumping into dresses which I thought was such a nice touch. She genuinely wanted to help me find the one- she listened to all of my ideas and pulled excellent selections. When it came time to make a decision, there was 0 pressure. The store itself is big but it’s beautiful, and the energy is amazing! Even though there were a lot of girls and their families there it didn’t feel packed at all. I didn’t end up finding my dress here, but I had a truly wonderful experience!

My whole experience at Kleinfeld's was amazing! I was an out of state bride too, but they made the whole process easy and seamless. Both the bridal consultants and the seamstresses know what they are doing. Morgan had dresses for me that not only complimented my figure, but what I would feel comfortable in, based on my initial survey. Once I found my dress, she pulled the perfect Pnina cathedral veil that made the whole dress come together. Her measurements were spot on because the seamstress at my first fitting asked me who measured me, rarely seeing such perfect fits - I only needed to get it hemmed at the bottom. I ended up needing just two fittings and for my final fitting, someone helped me carry my dress out all the way to my parked car.
Can't recommend them enough - they work with your price point and make your wedding dream a reality!

This was just such a special experience. The bridal assistants know their stuff. I showed Morgan pictures of the two dresses I was between at other shops, but didn’t have that “she’s the one” feeling. She listened and pulled six dresses. And that’s when I found my dress. I literally cried. Only bummer is that most bridal shops order you bigger, even though you say you’ll lose weight. So my hips were one size bigger than my chest needed. Then when my dress came in about 10 months later, I had lost 22 lbs since that initial purchase. Soooo needless to say the fit on top could’ve gone smaller but it all worked out! (I did alterations in FL because I was planning from out of state)

My experience at Kleinfeld was PERFECTION. Gabi was the best possible consultant anyone could've asked for. She took her time to get to know me and my style and then found me several dresses I felt absolutely stunning in. One of them was a brand new trunk show dress that no one else had tried on and the designer team came back and was so thrilled to see it and chat. Ronnie, the owner, also stopped by with cookies. I ended up finding THE DRESS at a different vendor, but honestly my Kleinfeld experience was so magical that it made me want to buy multiple dresses from them.
I was worried going in as a lower-budget bride, but Gabi never made me feel anything less than a princess. Would give 6 stars if I could.

I had such a great experience at Kleinfeld's. I will start by saying that I'm a plus size bride, and was really frustrated with how I looked, having gained a lot of weight during COVID for various reasons. I went uncomfortable with my body and nervous that no sample dresses would fit me. It was also when there was a limit of 3 guests per appointment - so I made two appointments with 3 guests each so all of my close friends/family could be there. My bridal consultant was Jaqueline - she was amazing. She knew what I was looking for, they had tons of plus size samples to choose from, and my dress was the third one I tried on. I literally walked out dancing in it! They then asked the accessories consultant to bring me a headpiece and veil - the veil was unreal - and I said yes to the dress! I wanted to give myself a month before ordering as I was dieting - I called back on the date they told me to, about 6 weeks after my purchase, and spoke with Dorothy who took my order. She was so gracious both in the salon and on the phone. My dress came like clockwork and I got a text that it had arrived and to make an alterations appt. I read some bad reviews about alterations etc so I was nervous, but alterations were great. I have a demanding work schedule and they were able to accommodate me based on my schedule, even when it was a challenge. They made sure my last appointment was well before my wedding so there was time for last minute alterations. I had 3 alteration sessions overall. I had sleeves added to my dress, and they looked better than I had imagined. I always got reminder texts before going with helpful hints, like to bring my wedding shoes to my fitting. The dress pickup also needs to be scheduled, and it was quick and seamless. They go over the dress with you and make sure it's to your liking. It is stuffed perfectly to maintain it's shape. The woman doing this was so friendly. Even after the wedding, I called to find out if they recommend a cleaner for the dress. They have one in-house who cleans and can package for you for storage as well. They are pricier than some other salons, but there are very reasonably priced dress options too. I'd say that you need a minimum budget of about 2000 dollars. I was so impressed with how absolutely seamless my whole experience was with them. I highly recommend coming here!

I have been watching "Say Yes to the Dress" for most of my life and never dreamed I would actually get my wedding dress here! The salon is exactly how it is on the show. We even saw Pnina and many others from the show. My consultant Kayla picked out my dress over a year ago and it wasn't even on my list. She just knew what I was looking for. The alterations department was incredible as well. I wouldn't have trusted anyone else with that dress. I received so many compliments about my dress on my wedding day, that I think it may have been to most beautiful dress anyone had ever seen. It was truly unique it all the right ways, it was the sparkly fabric that sold me! I also want to thank Kleinfeld for accommodating me for the last fitting as I missed my train and was very late. I will never forget my experience at Kleinfeld, it was truly life-changing!

I had the best experience at Kleinfeld and found my dress on my very first appointment. Kleinfeld is actually the only dress appointment I had, which is amazing because I can be very picky when it comes to what I wear (I’m a harsh critic of myself). This being said, my consultant Candace made me feel so comfortable and confident throughout the try on process! She texted me the night before my appointment and really listened to my preferences. When we met the day of my appointment, she paid very close attention to the photos I showed her of what I was envisioning. She was extremely patient with me and I never once felt rushed during my appointment. She let me take the time to try on dresses, show my parents, try different ones, re-try on dresses I liked, etc. It really felt like shopping with a friend. I ended up purchasing my gown and a veil on that first appointment, both of which I loved so much. I had my alterations done at Kleinfeld as well and am very happy with the outcome. My dress did not need much work, but they always paid close attention to detail and made sure I was happy every single step of the way. I always felt cared for and that the customer service was excellent.

I had the most perfect experience at Kleinfeld. As someone who has watched every episode of Say Yes to the Dress, it was my dream to go to Kleinfeld to get my dress. Let me tell you, I was not disappointed in the slightest. I had Morgan as my consultant, and she was super knowledgable and listened to what I was looking for but was also able to come up with similar styles to ensure that the dress I picked was truly everything I dreamed of. I had really high expectations, and was nervous with all the dresses that I wouldn't be able to find THE ONE, but I am so happy I came here.
The only thing that could have been better, was the fact that I went in May of 2021, where it was very strict with COVID guide lines. That of course is not any fault of Kleinfelds, as they did do a great job with cleanliness and protocols for safety.
Truly could not have hoped for a better time getting the dress for my perfect day.

My consultant Morgan texted me prior and clearly did her research as everything she pulled was in line with my preferences. Not one dress she chose was an immediate no as I inevitably expected. In fact, the second dress I tried on was already seriously in the running. When I tried on a “no” dress later, but casually mentioned one element of the dress that I liked-she quickly went to pull another dress with it and THAT WAS THE DRESS! I couldn’t believe she took a passing comment and turned it into a sale! I also liked that she didn’t really push the budget. (I’d say that at least $3,500+1,000 for alterations is a good starting price point.) I even got to meet Dorothy from the show who was SUPER nice! Appointments do feel rushed so know what you want. The order took 8 months to come in and alterations about 2 so I recommend getting started about a year out! A dress can’t break your wedding day, but it can make it! Guests and even vendors still can’t stop talking about the Eve of Milady dress, it was a perfect fit in every way and a dream come true.

My experience at Kleinfeld’s was not what I had expected. As an NYC girl, I dreamed of visiting Kleinfeld’s for my wedding, but while planning a wedding at the height of the pandemic, I decided to purchase my wedding dress in October 2021 at a local boutique. Fast forward to May 2022 with my wedding three weeks away, I still hadn’t found the right pair of earrings. That’s when I booked an accessory appointment at Kleinfeld’s. The reservation person was pleasant, helpful, and even wrote in the appointment notes that I wanted to try on the sample of my dress that Kleinfeld’s had to ensure that the earrings matched.
On the day of my appointment, my mother and I excitedly arrived at Kleinfeld’s. We checked in and waited for the Accessories Consultant to arrive. Once our consultant, Jason, arrived, our visit went downhill. Jason was not very inviting and seemed rushed. He said hello, took us downstairs to the accessory section, and proceeded to let us know which accessories would be available for me to take home that day. He then said for me to look at what they had, and he would be back. At no point did he ask me about what I was looking for, nor did he make any suggestions as to what he thought would work. Overall, he seemed unprepared for our appointment and did not pay attention to the notes I asked to be added to my appointment information.
Before he walked away, I mentioned to him that I wanted to try the sample of my dress they had in stock, and he immediately got upset and flustered. He said it wasn’t possible because they don’t let people who didn’t purchase their dress at Kleinfeld’s try on their samples. I found this to be odd since plenty of people visit Kleinfeld’s to try on dresses and don’t always make purchases. I told him that when I made the appointment, the person I spoke with told me it wouldn’t be a problem, and being able to try on my dress was one of the reasons why I booked my appointment. He seemed very irritated and even got a little loud, saying, “I am so sick of customer service giving people the wrong information. What they told you was incorrect.” He then asked me for the style no. of my dress. I gave him the number and mentioned that the style number should be on the reservation notes.
My mother and I were taken aback by his off-putting demeanor, complete lack of professionalism, and unwillingness to help. While we waited for Jason, my mother and I did find a lovely pair of earrings we thought might work. To our surprise, Jason came back with the sample of my dress and asked that we follow him to a dressing room. I am not sure why he made such a big deal about letting me try on the dress, but I was glad that I was able to.
I tried on the dress with the earrings and thought they matched well. Once I was dressed, Jason came in and said he liked the earrings and thought they fit my headpiece well. He was noticeably rushed and seemed like he just did not want to be there. When my mother asked if they had any other options for earrings, he said no and he thought those were the best. He asked me if I wanted to purchase them, and I said yes. He quickly took the earrings to get them ready. I got out of the dress, paid for the earrings, and went on my way.
Overall, the experience at Kleinfeld’s was disappointing and underwhelming. This was not the personally tailored experience I had hoped for. My earrings were beautiful, but I could have gotten much better service at a local boutique.

NO PLACE LIKE KLEINFELD FOR YOUR WEDDING DRESS
My dress consultants at Kleinfeld were Sharon and Fatu, who greeted me at the entrance with such kindness that I immediately felt relieved. It was my first appointment ever, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I felt nervous and I had concerns such as my dress size. Every step along the process, Sharon and Fatu made sure that I felt welcomed, comfortable, and heard. First they asked me what I was looking for and took notes, then they looked for many dresses for me to try on, and they were patient, kind, and respectful while I was trying them on. At the end, I chose the first dress that I tried on- which was my dream dress. Sharon has a lot of expertise and she immediately knew what I was looking for, and that’s how the first dress that I tried on worked for me. Most importantly, I will never forget the way she made me feel, because for weeks I was dreading my dress appointment and it turned out to be one of the most fun experiences of my life. Thank you!

I know this place gets mixed reviews, but I happened to have an awesome experience - both shopping for my dress and in alterations. I had Amber as my consultant and Eva as my seamstress. Both amazing. I opted to add sleeves only 2 weeks before my wedding, and Eva knocked it out of the park, literally creating them by hand and finding lace that matched my dress almost perfectly. My point deduction is for the number of times I had to go back and forth to the city and the price of the sleeves (literally almost half the cost of the dress)

I went to Kleinfeld after trying on way too many dresses at BHLDN and RK Bridal and others, and just feeling like they were all so boring and not me. It was a great appt. Joel found me the perfect gown and gave me a discount. I was just like the show - you go in with a budget, then find the perfect dress just above it lol.

Kleinfeld let me down. The experience did not go as expected. When choosing my Gown and attending my first fitting I could not have been happier, however at that things went down hill. My final fitting was scheduled by a Kleinfeld employee 5 days before my wedding (so on Tuesday for a Saturday wedding), and I was told I would be taking the dress home that day. I was told I may be waiting there a few hours, so I brought a book. I arrived for my fitting and was told there was a lot of work to be done, and that there was no way I could take the dress that day. I would need to come back for the dress another time. Mind you I was getting married hours away. I changed my plans and had to cancel appointments I had set way in advance for my wedding such as nails and spray tan in order to drive back to the city for pick up Thursday for my Saturday wedding, during which I am supposed to try on the dress again. The spray tan appointment was unable to be rescheduled. I arrive Thursday and there is no appointment for me to try it on, but the receptionist was able to work it out where I then could. Thank god I did because the dress still did not fit. I then had to sit in Kleinfeld for hours while they rush finished the alterations. There was also an issue where they could not find my veil, even though I had mentioned it was missing at the 2 prior fittings. Once the dress was done I was asked to inspect it before leaving, all while being felt as though I was being rushed out of the store and that somehow this was all my fault. Everyone was less than apologetic or friendly. I did not realize until my wedding day that the lace was not symmetrical when altered (see photos), that certain pieces were not even fully sewn down, that the dress was totally wrinkled and there were still pins in the dress. All in all I am not happy at all with the situation and still feel as though the dress could’ve fit better. I again chose none of these fitting times and I wish I did not say OK when asked if I could do fittings the week of the wedding.

I don't watch reality shows... but even I will admit that I got sucked into "Say Yes to the Dress" after I got engaged. I mean, the goal is to only get married (and therefore find THE dress) once... so there's a decent amount of pressure on that "moment." Manufactured for TV or not, it was comforting to watch others going through the same thing.
I found my perfect dress at a bridal store where I live in Florida, but I hadn't yet found accessories to go with it. And since I was going to New York for Thanksgiving, I figured it was worth a shot to visit Kleinfeld. I made an accessories appointment request online and got a call the next day to ask what time I would like to come in. The only day that worked for me was Black Friday, and they thankfully had openings available.
My future mother-in-law and I got to the store a few minutes early and my consultant, Arleen, soon came out to greet us. She brought us downstairs to their accessories department, which was brightly lit with a selection of sparkly jewelry and headpieces. I considered getting some jewelry but I really was here for a veil and a belt for my dress -- jewelry was last on the list.
For as big of a store as Kleinfeld is, their veil and belt selection was surprisingly small. But then again, I suppose I am being rather particular about what I have in mind. I wanted a one-layer fingertip-length veil with a bottom lace edge... Nothing very sparkly, and no lace that went all the way to the top. Turns out that is kind-of a lot to ask for. They really only had one that fit the bill... and that's the one I went with. What made shopping for a veil more difficult was not trying it on with a dress. Obviously I didn't have my own dress, but being able to try on a somewhat similar one, even just in a similar color, would've been so helpful. Having that visual would've made this a much easier process.
Same goes with the belt. I had to rely on photos of my dress to figure out what belt I wanted. When I bought my dress, all of the belts the store had were really sparkly and gaudy, and I just didn't like any of them. But as soon as I saw this one belt in the drawer at Kleinfeld, I was drawn to it. And even though it cost more than the veil (pretty sure my mother-in-law's eyes briefly popped out of her head when she saw the price tag), I just knew I'd regret not getting it.
Checking out was a much slower process than I thought it would be. I was taking the belt with me since they had multiple in stock, but ordering the veil. We had to wait over half an hour just to check out, which made us a bit antsy toward the end. But all in all, this was a successful shopping trip and I'm glad I went.

I loved my experience with Kleinfeld Bridal!! From the moment I found my dress with Lisa to when I walked out with it after all my alterations, it was everything I could have imagined! It was my dream to go to Kleinfeld to find my dress, and Lisa found me my dream dress way under my budget and something I totally would never have tried on myself. I was even able to get the matching veil and a beautiful headpiece within my original budget for my wedding dress! Alterations were expensive but completely worth it!! Originally, my dress was so big it was falling off. After only 3 alteration appointments, my dress looked as if it was made for me! The bustle was easy for my maid of honor to do and she accommodated my change of shoes after pictures. Honestly, I wish I could relive my Kleinfeld experience since it was the best thing I have ever done!!!!

I started the wedding dress shopping journey during the height of COVID, so I kept things small by going with just my mom. To be honest, it was the best decision I made for 2 reasons: 1. my mom's taste is impeccable, and 2. each component of the process (i.e. selecting styles, selecting salons, selecting the dress, etc.) offers endless possibilities. Having few and more valued opinions was the route for me.
Before visiting Kleinfeld, I went to two other bridal salons in New York City. The dresses were beautiful (isn't that the root problem with wedding dress shopping?), but they weren't for me. Not to mention, the options were fairly slim in terms of styles and sizes. My mom and I finally headed to Kleinfeld-- I suppose we saved the best for last! Antoinette was our stylist, and between her and my Italian mother, it took about 30 seconds to find the Pnina dress of my literal dreams ... with a giant bow right in the front, of course. Every person at the salon was kind, helpful, and a master of their craft. Alternations on my dress were difficult due to the fabric and corset, and Maria seriously slayed. The best part was that despite how many clients are in and out of Kleinfeld on the daily, I felt like the only bride in the room. The result? I felt beyond beautiful and confident on my wedding day.

I love my dress! When I went in for the consultation, I expected to just peruse and say I went to the Say Yes to the Dress spot one time. But after not loving my Pinterest inspired choices, the consultant listened carefully to what my friends and I liked and didn’t like about them and had an aha moment. Then she brought something up that I had not really seen before; when I put it on, I felt unique and beautiful. That was it – it was literally time to say yes to the dress (lol). Somehow an even better experience, the fitting process was well worth it. I lost a lot of weight (about 35 pounds) bewteen ordering the dress and my first fitting. I was terrified that it may have been too much change, but Eva tackled it with ease, a smile, and support. She quickly became part of my wedding journey, seeing her multiple times as the big day approached.

I came in to Kleinfeld this past weekend (off of a last minute waitlist) and was lucky enough to be paired with Olivia B. as my stylist. She was absolutely fantastic! Kleinfeld was not my first bridal shopping experience (and to be honest, I was skeptical), so while I came in with some ideas about dresses, I was still very unsure of what exactly I was looking for.
Olivia did an amazing job at curating a selection of dresses for me. She was patient, attentive, responsive, and an absolute joy to work with. What I was most impressed by was Olivia's ability to help me translate into words what was "off" or what didn't quite work on different dresses. This really helped me understand and narrow down exactly what was best for my body type, style etc. I never felt rushed and felt like Olivia was truly invested in me and my experience. I tried on a lot of options but ended up loving one of the very first dresses she brought to me -- she's that good! Thank you Olivia!

I can’t rave enough about my experience at Kleinfeld! I had Kelsey as my consultant (she is no longer there), and she was my perfect match! I went in with one dress in mind that I had been eyeing for months. After speaking with Kelsey before she brought dresses, I shared photos and our vision of our venue and day as a whole. She brought 6 dresses in, most of which I favorited online, but I was immediately drawn to one she pulled on her own. I put it on first and knew that that was going to be my dress! She nailed the look and feel I was going for and I wound up walking away with a dress that I never thought I would get. I also opted to do my fittings there, I required 2. I do wish that the fitting appointments went a little better. They felt incredibly rushed and despite being the first or second appointment, mine were never on time. It’s also really hard if you are an out-of-town bride like myself with a full time job trying to schedule an appointment. I had the signature alteration package to try to keep costs as low as possible and I didn’t feel comfortable having less fittings, so maybe if you opt for a more expensive package, it wouldn’t be an issue. I did have one bead come loose and hang off my dress on my wedding day from where they had to take it in. I’m assuming it just wasn’t attached absolutely perfectly. Overall, I had a great experience and I am still so in love with my gown!

I had a very good experience at Kleinfeld. I’ve read the reviews and I went to the appointment feeling open to trying on dresses and narrowing down my options, but not really planning on buying anything.
Paula my consultant was kind and sweet from the moment our appointment started (side note- the night before she texted and called to talk about our appointment) She went over the dresses I had favorited on the website and we started with those. She was very efficient and narrowed down my options based on how I felt about the prior dress. Throughout the entire appointment there was one dress she wanted me to try on and she searched for it until BAM it was in the dressing room right before we were going to wrap up the appointment. I don’t know how she knew but that dress was my perfect dress.
My only downside- due to space restrictions we had to share a couch with another family. It was just my mom with me so it wasn’t really a space issue for us. But we had to coordinate with the other bride and her family who was looking in the mirror/on the pedestal at a time. I’m also a little shy and reserved so I didn’t love having another family I didn’t know so close to me while talking things over with my mom and my consultant. Everyone was very respectful so it wasn’t a deal breaker but it also wasn’t ideal.
If I could give some advice to future brides- I found it very helpful to look through the website and favorite what I liked and made notes about what I didn’t like. I think this allowed our appointment to go a little more smoothly. I had a general idea of what I liked before I went in to the appointment.
I can’t thank Paula enough for being so kind and making me feel so comfortable.

Worst experience ever! Got pressured to buy my dress bc they said time was ticking and the dress wouldn’t be there in the morning. Then when I went to make my alterations appointment they ghosted me and said they didn’t alter samples (even tho that’s what was agreed upon) ruined what should have been a magical once in a lifetime experience. So many better special boutiques in NYC!

I had such an amazing consultant, Lisa F., who helped me pick THE dress of my dreams. She was so wonderful and my family had such a good time with her. When it came to alterations, that was a whole different story. The seamstress I had seemed like she had no idea what she was doing. It wasn’t until the 3rd, out of 4 visits, that I got the help I needed. Tina saved entire dress. I was ready to walk out because it didn’t feel like the dress I had tried on when I first fell in love with it. Tina took THE TIME to make sure everything was perfect and exactly what I wanted.

She returned with a gorgeous A-line that blush tones. It was beautiful and when I tried it on, I knew it was the dress.
