I, personally, had a terrible experience with KN Sewing. Karen worked with me for my wedding dress, which was a bit snug around the hips. She let out the seams, but it was still too tight, so Karen suggested that I needed to lose weight a month... before my wedding. Mind you, I'm a small person to begin with, so it would not have been possible to change the shape of my body to fit that dress. That's what alterations are for. Luckily I had my future mother in law with me to convince Karen of this, and she put in a panel, which needed some alterations as well, which Karen also fought us on. The point is that I had to fight to have any work done on the dress. She should want my dress to fit perfectly, and I felt that she just wanted to do the least amount of work possible. Her attitude was condescending and rude to us every step of the way. I left with tears in my eyes on more than one occasion. I felt used, taken advantage of, and definitely not beautiful. A dress fitting is supposed to be a special peak into the most wonderful day of my life, but for me it was a time of dread and hurt. I hope other people don't have the same experience as me, but I had to let people know that this was what happened to me at KN Sewing.
