He refused to let anyone request songs, stating we made a playset he had to follow, which was a lie. He was given a song list for key songs during the ceremony and our grand entrance though, but decided to deviate from that list for the song the Bride walked down the isle to. He didn't fade or blend the songs during the ceremony and chose to stop mid song and cut directly into the next one. The songs he did play made everyone walk away from the dance floor. We did we request country music during cocktail hour and during dinner, which he didn't play much of. He argued with the Made of Honor and other bridal party members and made me, the groom fill like we had to rush everything during the reception. So THANKS again RONNIE. I hope I never see you behind a DJ booth again!

d assured us we could pick anything we wanted, gave us easy lists to go off of/fill out, a huge song list to help us pick things. She communicated with us the entire way and helped us make changes, additions etc as needed. We also ended up adding cold sparks for our exit, this wasn’t included in the package so we did pay for them but we feel the price was reasonable and we are so so happy we decided to add them as we didn’t really have an exit planned at all but the cold sparks made it so fun and the pictures are beautiful!!! Adam was our DJ for the wedding and he was awesome. He was so kind and pleasant to work with, we had a small group and he really read the room to play dance music or slow dance music and constantly was asking us if we wanted to continue as is or switch things up. Small crowds are difficult to navigate and as people started leaving he immediately notified us that we should probably do cold sparks exit early so that more guests are still here for it rather than only having a few people left at the end. This is something we didn’t consider having a smaller wedding, that the crowd would dwindle a lot faster than a larger guest count would. He noticed this and took action immediately for us. We could not recommend Knight Sounds, Jennifer or Adam enough. They gave us exactly what we asked for, and more!!!

ovide 3 stars is due to the professionalism and communication in the planning process leading up to the wedding. We had a meeting scheduled that was missed by the company, and there was no communication with them until I had my wedding coordinator reach out to them directly. I completely understand that things happen, but to not have had communication from the company until after I said something was frustrating. We did eventually meet, but with a completely different person than we had been corresponding. When we asked if he was the DJ, we were told that we would not know who our DJ was until the day of the wedding. I didn't love this, since the DJ was extremely important to me. Once again, I reached out to my wedding coordinator for her help. Only then did we receive a call from the DJ. I am not sure what he was told about us and our wedding, but it seemed as if he was defensive from the get go. The wedding was fun and the music was great, but I expected a higher level of professionalism, communication, and personalization from the company. We simply felt like another wedding, with no personalization or time to get to know us as a couple; quantity over quality. At the end of the day, I'm glad Ronny was able to provide a great wedding.

He was very attentive and fun. He met my husband and I at the entrance and provided a quick rundown of events prior to the start of the reception. He was very energetic and engaged with the family. He guided the guests on how to do the line dances (ex. electric slide and cupid shuffle). He listened to our song requests and provided fun options for the last song. We also highly recommend the cold sparks and the photo both. Both were huge hits with our guests. Knight Sounds really helped make our wedding day a wonderful day to remember.

We had a Zoom call with her a few weeks in advance to make sure we were all on the same page. We also secured a photo booth through them, which was AMAZING and full of fun props and incredible guest book! When we showed up to Trevi, we didn’t know what to expect (since we planned from Virginia!), and DJ Donny instantly became our friend. He was very attentive to our needs and chatted with us for a few minutes to confirm what types of music we liked and we told him to use his expertise to play some pop and EDM off playlist. WOW, he was such a pro and mixed a lot of our song choices with other songs that got every single person on the dance floor. He kept the timeline 100% on track and was such a joy to have at our reception. We did an epic conga line which he helped coordinate, along with a very emotional last dance song, in which he helped corral everyone around us. He texted me pics and videos from his point of view the next day which I’ll cherish forever. We couldn’t be more grateful for DJ Donny and the care and attention he gave us that night. Everyone we've talked to since has mentioned how great our DJ was! Also, shout out to Jared on the photo booth who was a delight! Don’t hesitate to book Knight Sounds – so professional and fun to work with!

The print out book was an awesome take-away and so was the flash drive of all the digital shots. Fun props, kind vendors, great night. ZERO COMPLAINTS HERE! I would definitely hire DJ Adam again!

He played songs from a genre I specifically did not want played per the survey we filled out prior to our wedding. So if you do hire this company I would make sure to talk to the dj and spell it out for them because apparently the survey is just a guide to go off of.

They were incredibly responsive with all questions I had before the wedding, had me fill out a detailed questionnaire so everything was how I wanted during our reception, and were very organized when I made last minute changes. They played all the songs I asked for - even the hard to find ones - and filled in the rest seamlessly. I was nervous the music would seem mismatched because of our differing music tastes, but it was perfect. I would HIGHLY recommend them.

That being said, the company itself was kind and attentive and more than willing to meet with us to discuss our plans. I just wish the actual event had reflected all that planning a little more.

We had a two man crew for our wedding of 300 people and Adam was our emcee along with a DJ. Adam was the reason we had to have Knight's Sound as our wedding DJs. His personality is so upbeat and right from the moment we met him and the crew this last January at the Rio bridal expo we knew that we had our crew. There were moments where we actually had to have guests including myself and my bride outside the dance floor as we did the Cupid Shuffle because we had hundreds I repeat HUNDREDS of people dancing. This was a crowd that already had an early morning preparing for a black tie wedding, a full Catholic mass, and about 3 hours of reception formal program and the entire place was full of dancing people. It is a testament to the energy that Knight's Sounds and Adam and his assistant brought to the party on our very memorable wedding on 12-22-18 at Alexis Park. We had Knight Sound present for 7 and a half hours and they were just amazing. Every moment of our cocktail hour and reception was alive with music and even our dinner service was full of Disney themed music to go along with our Beauty and the Beast themed wedding. hey would be using the built in sound system. I am glad we didn’t go with anyone else. We met with the owner several weeks before our wedding date to discuss our vision. We wanted a mix of contemporary and older music. Also we did NOT want traditional wedding music. The owner said that they have a wide selection but anything specific we wanted we needed to provide MP3 (ITunes). In our wedding packet we had a song list page that we needed to fill out. We provided a song list and all of our songs on a flash drive. Fast forward to the day of our wedding. The DJ we had was super nice. He had all of our music set. The ceremony was nicely done and all of our music was played how we wanted. Our officiant was given a microphone, so everyone heard him. Now for the reception. The music was played at a comfortable level. Not too quiet, not too loud. All of the songs we specifically requested were played, but some of our longer songs were cut short to make time for all of the songs. The DJ lead us in all of our activities (First dance, Father/Daughter, Mother/Son, Shoe game, “Cha-Cha” slide, etc.) and maintained a high energy level all throughout the night. We specifically asked for “NO REQUESTS”. The DJ offered to take them but when I told him we didn’t want it he stuck to the playlist. The only note I will say is that if you want to have the songs played in a certain order make sure this is well known because some songs we wanted played last were played earlier than we expected, then played again. Overall, great service.

Aside from that...this dude was rocking the party...unfortunately there was zero advertising and some bad timing as it was a little early but mad props to the Vdara for trying to boost the ambiance. Too bad everyone is just returning from the big show so the place was kinda empty. I've seen DJ's played packed clubs before obviously and they don't even move like this guy....how he was so into his music and set list was a great site to see. WE NEED MORE DJ'S LIKE THIS GUY. So folks don't be fooled by the outdated website, this guy is the truth!!! He's a diamond in the rough....excuse the grammar from a crazy night at EDC but the Vdara is definitely on to something here!! Big Thumbs Up...Awwweessoommmeeenneesss

e, messed up the order of the entire night, played rap music during dinner and then played the "family songs" at the end of the night when all the old people were gone. He played the songs I specifically requested for him NOT to play and did not play the songs I requested for the bouquet toss and garter toss. He also had 2-3 min of dead silence during the party because he was not ready for the next song. We all stood around and stared at him waiting for him to play the next songs (he had CDs and was flipping through his CD books for songs like it was 1992). He talked way too much, got in the guests faces and delayed events such as my garter toss and cake cutting. And he also played the same song twice and I had to go over and tell him he was duplicating songs. He was probably the worst DJ I have ever seen in my life. The groomsmen finally came over and saved the day and used their phones to play music so we could dance. I could not even recommend this company for a 12 year old girls middle school dance. My $30,000 wedding was ruined by this DJ. I was ready to LEAVE MY OWN WEDDING PARTY AT 11:20 BECAUSE IT SUCKED SOOOOOO BAD. FYI, he also forgot to do my send off. The lights came on and my party was done and I was standing there during clean up. Awesome.
