y. As the bride, I had the most stress free and fun day getting ready with my girls and not having to worry about anything because Jillian had everything under control. Even when we got off schedule, it was quickly put back on track with no hiccups. Our guests said it was the best wedding they have been to!

any compliments on how good the food was! Colada absolutely killed it with the bar. Guests never had to wait in line for a drink they were always on top of it. Boujee blooms took care of all of our flowers and majority of the decor and the place looked stunning plus everything was already done before we arrived to the place. We used toast for our DJ and he kept the party alive and had people out on the dance floor all night long. Megan was assigned to me by the venue and she was absolutely amazing. She always responded to my emails super fast and was very informative. She took off so much of my stress. It was truly a perfect team. I couldn’t recommend them enough. My wedding day was beyond anything I could have ever dreamed of.

I truly felt like a princess the entire day, and our guests couldn’t stop talking about how they felt like they were attending a royal celebration in a castle. Throughout your wedding planning with them I just LOVED going to the events and open houses they would host. I took any chance I could get to walk that venue/ meet the staff / ask questions and enjoy the fun of the process they provided. My event coordinator was Jillian and she was God sent. She is a rockstar and really stepped in to lift the weight of my shoulders toward the end of the process. The day of the wedding, she had our schedule DOWN to the minute, while making sure we had food/ drinks / a little fan. It’s just someone who genuinely cares that this is your BIGGEST day. I know there are many brides out there and many weddings to be had, but KHP and Jillian always made me feel like my day was just as important to them as it was to me. I couldn’t recommend this venue enough. It will forever be a very special place to me and notably an unforgettable WOW venue experience for our guest.

We scrambled to find another wedding venue that could support our vision AND a WEEKEND date open that was only 3 months out! Fortunately, we found out that Knotting Hill Place had our wedding date available! Emily was a Godsend! She was our main point of contact and made the ENTIRE process so SEAMLESS. She was kind, understanding, supportive and did everything she could to make it work for us. She gave us tons of options and suggestions and made exceptions for us where she could since we had every single vendor already booked and it would cost us more if we had to cancel or modify any of our contracts. To say the least, Emily truly helped put our minds at ease throughout the entire process. She made our experience with KHP an amazing one! The venue itself is a "dream venue". It speaks for itself. Luxurious, grand, elegant, modern...everything I've ever wanted and the most beautiful place we could have imagined getting married at. ALL our guests were blown away when they arrived that day and all we heard after the wedding was "Your wedding venue was one of the most beautiful I've ever seen!". Mollie went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right. She is amazing at her job! Knotting Hill Place is not just a venue; it’s an experience. Our guests are still talking about how beautiful everything was, and we couldn’t have dreamed of a more magical place to say "I do." Highly, highly recommend!

venues like this around our state. So when I came down to tour KHP, I was just in awe. Holly and Megan took care of us throughout the entire process and helped make everything seamless. I kept thinking I should be stressed about something - but I wasn't! I felt supported the entire time. Our guests adored KHP, the bridal and grooms suite were perfection, and I love that the venue feels like a castle, but is very much built for a wedding - with every detail considered with that in mind. One of my favorite details is the CCTV in the bridal suite with video feeds around the venue! I could watch my vendors set up and not go ruin the surprise for my groom, and could watch my guests come in and experience KHP for the first time. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue - and the kindest people to help it all come to life. 10/10 recommend. I would do it all again in a heartbeat.

nnedy, the staff member assigned to us, left much to be desired in terms of professionalism, responsiveness, and basic courtesy. Unfortunately, I cannot speak to the overall quality of the Knotting Hill Place staff, as Kennedy was our primary point of contact. Had we been assigned a different staff member, this review might very well be a glowing five stars, given how beautiful the venue is. Our first major concern arose when we scheduled an in-person tour for May 5th at 2:00 PM—a date and time we confirmed multiple times in advance. We traveled all the way from Spokane, WA, to see the venue in person and meet with vendors. Upon arrival, however, Kennedy was in the middle of giving another tour. She did not acknowledge us, greet us, or even glance in our direction for an entire hour. Thankfully, our independent wedding planner stepped in to show us around, but when Kennedy finally finished her tour, she still did not recognize or acknowledge our prearranged appointment. In fact, it wasn’t until several minutes into our conversation that she even realized who we were. While I hesitate to assume her priorities lay more with securing new clients than fulfilling obligations to existing ones, that is certainly how it appeared. If she had simply forgotten the appointment, that would indicate a failure to document it properly despite multiple confirmations—an oversight that is difficult to excuse, especially given the effort we made to be there in person. Regardless of the cause, there was no acknowledgment or apology for the oversight, which set a disappointing precedent for our ongoing interactions. Beyond this initial encounter, our experience with Kennedy continued to be frustrating. Throughout the year leading up to our wedding, she was consistently difficult to reach via phone or email, frequently failed to follow through on promised information, and neglected to send meeting recaps with critical follow-up tasks. When she did provide information, it was often inaccurate. For instance, our venue rental order contained multiple errors, including incorrect guest counts and unjustified charges—one being a $750 outside florist fee, despite the fact that we did not have a florist. This mistake stemmed from an assumption that a rental company we used, DFW Flower Wall, was a florist, which could have easily been verified by just asking us before adding the charge. While she corrected the issue when I pointed it out, it was frustrating to have to meticulously review every detail myself due to a lack of trust in the accuracy of her work. On the wedding day itself, her lack of engagement was again apparent. She did not greet us, offer well wishes, or even acknowledge me despite passing by multiple times. This absence of professionalism and warmth was disheartening, especially considering the significance of the occasion. I cannot speak to how or why Kennedy holds a managerial role—whether through connections within the company, a focus on sales over client experience, or simply a lack of honest feedback from past clients—but based on our interactions, she did not demonstrate the level of attentiveness, competence, or customer service one would expect in her position. While Knotting Hill Place remains a breathtaking venue, the experience of working with Kennedy significantly diminished what could have been a flawless wedding planning process.

KHP is one of the more beautiful "Estate" style venues in DFW, centrally located in Little Elm by the lake, and not a far commute for Dallas and Fort Worth natives. KHP hosts open house events that let you come and tour the venue while meeting a number of their preferred vendors for catering, photography/videography, decor, florals, as well as their talented bar staff: Colada. These events helped us solidify our vision for our wedding day at KHP, let us get additional face time with our coordinator and vendors, as well as discounted rental and decor items. We had an all-around fantastic experience and will continue to recommend KHP to other newly-engaged couples in DFW.
