Karma is great. Our wedding was logistically difficult and she was able to make sure the day went smoothly. Whenever there was a problem, she quickly resolved. We wouldn’t have been able to have a smooth and perfect day if it wasn’t for her!!
We had the “month of” package with Karma for a wedding in Annapolis. The positives: Karma was very professional and easy going. She knows the vendors in Annapolis well and was able to help us cut down the amount of research and decision making. She is diplomatic and was very effective in managing personalities involved. The negatives: there could have been better coordination and attention to detail. Karma would send all emails only to me (the bride) even when it came to group chains, she would only reply to me even after I repeated asked her to include my husband on threads. She also asked the same questions multiple times which made me think she wasn’t writing down or keeping track of responses. Certain vendors weren’t aware of where they needed to be the day of, so my wedding day was more hectic. My main complaint was in Karma’s management of the wedding day. She was very considerate in making sure we have food and big parts of the wedding were managed really well. However, we had torrential rain and the tent area was flooded. Despite this, the tent sides which Karma offered us to get weren’t dropped resulting us spending $700 for nothing.
Overall, my take away was that you get what you pay for. 2K is below the average price for a wedding planner but the quality may not be amazing.

I hired her less than 40 days before the wedding for my daughter, and she immediately understood all the gaps that needed to be filled-- her thoughtful and professional touch made it amazing. My daughter and I expertly plan (we think :) ) and so we thought we didn't need a wedding planner. At some point, we realized that we need someone else to help us because we did not want to concern ourselves with the details of wedding day, but instead wanted to enjoy the significance of the wedding and be present in the moment. I wish we had brought her into the fold earlier and done more with her, but her professionalism made up for our lack of foresight.
Karma and her team are the perfect picture of kindness, but also making things happen. She was taking care of business, but at the same time also calming nerves of the bridal party (and myself!) throughout the process. Karma was more than I could ever ask for and she felt like a trusted family friend.
If I could shout from the rooftops how amazing she was for our event, I would. She is just a good person.
With Karma as our day-of-coordinator, we didn't have to worry about a thing! She was on-site for more than 12 hours, coordinating everything from vendor arrival, venue decoration, and ceremony flow to the meticulous placement of florals on the wedding cake and making sure the happy couple ate most of their meal before being pulled away by guests. Karma has a calm, reassuring and positive presence that allowed us to just enjoy the day with confidence that she was handling all the details. It was an absolutely perfect celebration!
Karma is absolutely AMAZING!! She is kind, creative, well organized and fun to be around. We had a 3 day wedding weekend in my in-laws yard on the Upper Eastern Shore so there was a ton of coordination and rentals needed and Karma made it all happen flawlessly! From talking with vendor after vendor, solving problems we didn’t even know about, and making sure all the guests were following the schedule, she was on top of everything. With that, she does not mess around! We had a vendor be a bit difficult and she was quick to put them in their place and make sure they followed our wishes. She even kept our dog leashed and walked her to the end of the aisle and let her free so she could be our flower girl. We seriously couldn’t have asked for a better planner/coordinator for our wedding events!
Karma is the sweetest Day-Of Coordinator. Not only did she help me immensely on the wedding day, but she also kept tabs on my planning throughout our engagement to make sure there wasn’t anything we were missing. Karma’s attention to detail is unmatched and she made it possible for me to live my special day without worrying about where vendors, guests, or family were. And also took care of ensuring gifts, florals, and our marriage license were in a secure location so we wouldn’t leave them at the venue. The sweetest thing Karma did on our wedding day was carry my 8-month old nephew so that my sister-in-law could eat her dinner. I would recommend Karma to anyone planning a wedding! She was a godsend.
Karma is the real deal. I knew with having us our ceremony off-site we needed someone who could handle the vendors while we were gone. But what Karma did for us was above and beyond what I expected. She made sure all of the vendors got in and set up, handled all the little details while were off doing pictures, and always made sure my husband and myself had whatever food or drinks we wanted. Not to mention she kept the entire schedule on track and made sure we both knew where to go and what to do next!
To say that Karma made our wedding day stress-free would be an understatement. I can’t thank her enough for giving me the freedom to enjoy our wedding and mingle with guests. I can’t imagine how we would’ve survived without her!
Karma was so easy to work with and the wedding couldn't have gone any better! Absolutely thorough with everything and made sure the wedding day went smoothly! Having zero knowledge of anything going into wedding planning, she made it so smooth and easy to get everything together even during these crazy times.
Karma was fantastic. I can literally say she was able to save our wedding. When a rental company tried to up their delivery fee from $450 to $1,800 Karma tried to find a solution with them. When they responded with "good luck finding another rental company" Karma found one in an hour!
Even when things are going smoothly weddings are overwhelming to plan. She kept us on track, coordinated with vendors, helped us plan our whole ceremony, and staffed the wedding stepping in whenever needed. My wife and I HIGHLY RECCOMEND her.
Karma was the BEST! I used her for "weekend of" coordinating services. She was both the most professional and easy to work with person I could have imagined! I was so stressed out from planning my wedding and had a LOT going on outside of it all. Karma met with me far in advance of my wedding date and collected every detail she would need to make this day a success. When the rehearsal came around, she ran the entire thing and even helped navigate some potentially volitile family situations. She was right there the ENTIRE day of the wedding meeting vendors, getting us lunch, setting up, coordinating arrivals, making sure I ate :), etc, etc, etc. I didn't have to think about a single thing the entire weekend aside from having fun!! I HIGHLY recommend Karma, and would not have enjoyed my wedding nearly as much without her there!
Karma was very helpful leading up to and the day of the wedding. She was great at communicating with vendors, establishing a great timeline for the day, and overall making sure we were not stressed out on our day. She is awesome!
We were planning our wedding from afar and Karma helped us through every step and made us feel completely comfortable throughout the entire process. For us, it wasn't just the wedding but an entire weekend experience for out-of-town guests and she helped us find and manage all the activities! The day of the wedding, she was always a step ahead of any potential concern and she made everything work perfectly. We loved working with Karma and had guests share with us how impressed they also were in interacting with her. Highly recommend!
Karma was so amazing with helping us plan our wedding! At the beginning I felt so overwhelmed with the task at hand but after meeting with Karma for the first time I instantly felt better about things! She has such a calm presence but with a 'yes we can' attitude! I really felt that she understood the vision I had for our wedding from the beginning and was able to help me find vendors that worked with our budget and helped me with all my many questions.
On the wedding day she was so incredible! I worried about nothing the day of, even though it was supposed to rain and our wedding was entirely outdoors. She had everything under control and set things up exactly how I envisioned. She was helpful to everyone, one minute fixing corsages and the next directing vendors. She did a great job working with an untraditional venue and making sure we had all the little details covered that had slipped my mind.
I absolutely recommend working with Karma- she is so knowledgeable and such a pleasure to work with.
Karma was AMAZING! She was on top of every detail leading up to our wedding, and our event was flawless. So flawless in fact, that we actually had a great time at our own wedding. Go figure. Karma made sure that all the vendors were on point, made sure our glasses and plates were full, managed the transitions, and made sure everything was buttoned up at the end. My daughter had already done most of the planning for her wedding but we needed a “day of” coordinator. I contacted Karma O’Neill of KO Events and she proved to be a perfect fit. Karma met with us twice before the big day. She provided advice on scheduling and points of etiquette, kept in touch with all our vendors, and developed a timeline for the wedding day. On the day of the wedding she coordinated between the caterer, the DJ, the photographer, and the florist. Everything ran smoothly and I was able to relax and enjoy the event!
If you have decided not to have a day-of coordinator, I urge you to change your mind and use KO events!! Karma managed every detail that day so my mother or I or anyone else involved with the wedding didn't have to! It all starts for her before your wedding- she meets with you several times to hash out details and to bounce your ideas around. The day of, I could just relax, knowing that Karma would let me know when I had to line up and go, and what was happening throughout the night, made sure my husband and I had food and drink and no surprises!

Karma is THE best. She made our dream wedding come true! She was so flexible and helpful. She made the night flow perfectly and offered great advice. We cannot recommend her enough!
We had our wedding reception at Federal House. Federal House allowed us to rent out the entire building--something they had never done before for a wedding. You would have never known that they were not used to having a wedding, because everything went so smoothly! Karma always made sure that my husband, our parents and grandparents, and bridal party were taken care of. She was fine with last minute changes and went above and beyond by taking all items to the reception and bringing them to our house after the reception--so that no one had to worry about it! This was SO appreciated! She was always responsive and thought about things that we never had. Every time we met with her beforehand, she was so friendly, attentive, and made us really excited for the big day. She brought our vision to life and we will always be grateful for that! If you want a wedding that your guests will remember forever, use Karma! Our wedding was truly the best day of our lives.
My husband and I were married in March at the Sagamore Pendry in Baltimore, MD. The wedding was a black tie event with about 150 guests. Karma from KO Events was our Day of Coordinator for the event.
From the very first intro call, we knew Karma would be an excellent fit for us. She was organized and thorough from the start. She was able to put our minds at ease during the very first phone call and continue to do so with every piece of correspondence after.
The day prior to the wedding, she was at our Rehearsal with name tags and a plan! She was able to get through the Rehearsal quickly while ensuring everyone was "all set" for the next day.
Seeing Karma's face the day of our wedding was a major relief for us both! After a quick pow wow with her in the morning, we were "on the hook" for nothing at all. She handled everything from touching up the gold paint on a few picture frames to escorting out a Wedding Crasher (St. Patty's Day Wedding).
My husband and I had the best day ever and Karma with KO Events was a critical piece in making that happen!

Karma was so helpful and easy to work with! She was willing to step up or step back depending on our preferences. She thoughtfully guided us through the process of planning our wedding and provided great tips for saving money and simplifying when we expressed our need/desire to keep a handle on expenses. She was also wonderful to talk to. I am not a planner; Karma was an assuring presence for me that we could get this done in the short time frame my husband and I had left to plan our wedding. Karma was also very helpful with interactions with the other vendors-- keeping all informed and providing guidance when communication with those vendors was challenged. We truly had GOOD Karma on our side -- she is a blessing!
KO Events and Karma O’Neill were essential to the success of our wedding day. There aren’t enough words in all of the languages in the world to thank her for what an amazing job she did for our wedding. My spouse and I went back and forth on if we wanted a wedding coordinator or not because we had really done a lot of the details ourselves and procured vendors, etc. In the end, we decided it would be worth the peace of mind knowing someone else knew all of the details of the day and could execute in our places, since we were a little busy. We also didn’t want these jobs to fall to our family and friends, we wanted them to enjoy the day with us. WE ARE SO GLAD WE DECIDED TO MAKE THIS CALL. We were able to hand all of the wedding details off to Karma and she ran with them.
She contacted all of our vendors prior to the day and coordinated everyone’s arrival and setting up. When we met with her, she left no detail undiscussed. She thought of at least a dozen things that we had yet to consider. She created solutions to problems we didn’t know we had. She is a real professional and listened to our vision and helped us execute it flawlessly. She helped with the setup on the day before and breakdown on the day of.
I can’t imagine what the day would have been like without Karma, and I don’t want to. I don’t know if all wedding coordinators are worth the money, but I know with 100% certainty that KO Events is.
Recommended by a family member, Karma did a fantastic job of coordinating our wedding. As a couple, you will comb over the details a million times to be sure everything goes smoothly, but even then things are missed. You lean on an Event Coordinator not only for ideas for your big day but also to make sure all is seamless on your big day - something many people don't realize.
Karma showed up with craft supplies and an unparalleled eye for detail. At the rehearsal, she brought name tags and ensured the bridal party and everybody involved in the ceremony knew everybody and that she knew everybody. She was able to identify potential gaps in our process or issues and make adjustments on the fly before guests were able to realize that something was not going according to plan. She ensured we stayed within our timeline - despite taking nearly 3000 photos during the course of our (5 hour) event.
We were extremely impressed and would recommend Karma to any couple looking for an Event Coordinator.
