I can’t say enough positive things about Keirstan. I got married on 10/4/2024 and it was truly the absolute best day of my life, thanks to my firstly my new husband and secondly to KR Events and Design. In the two years it took to plan our wedding, I constantly saw other brides in the Facebook groups and on the review sites say that their favorite vendor was their day-of-coordinator. I can totally understand why. Not only do I recommend day-of-coordination to take the pressure off of a bride and ensure the activities go smoothly- but I absolutely recommend Keirstan as the woman to get it done. From the second we first met with Keirstan, she immediately filled us with confidence. Her professionalism is extremely evident in the way she carries herself and breaks the process down, but she also does so with genuine care and respect for your individual wedding. I knew upon our first meeting that she had my back, supported my vision, and had what it takes to manage the inherent chaos of a wedding day. When there was a minor hiccup, I never even knew about it before she had solved the problem. I had the absolute best day of my life thanks to Keirstan taking all of the pressure off of me so I could be present in the moment. She also set the entire venue up exactly to my vision, it was perfect. I couldn’t believe how she managed to 1) organize my entire bridal party so efficiently for the rehearsal, 2) decorate the entire venue, 3) organize vendors for setup through final payment, 4) ensure guests knew what was going on and were in appropriate places at the correct time, 5) coordinate all of the biggest moments of the day so they were timed perfectly and had all necessary people around, 6) clean up and consolidate all wedding items after the event, and 7) genuinely care for us as the bride and groom to make sure we were fed/had drinks/weren’t overwhelmed/took time for ourselves/etc. from start to finish on the wedding day. She spent the entire day with us and was such a huge part of my happiness, it’s hard to put into words the trust and gratitude I have for her. Thank you Keirstan and I would strongly encourage any bride in western New York to spend their money on her services (which by the way totally felt doable and affordable- especially as a wedding vendor as we know must of the rest of the industry chronically overcharges)- everyone is right, she truly provided the most VITAL of services to the success of my wedding day.
Keirstan was amazing throughout the whole planning process! She would check in regularly to answer questions and was always prompt with responses. She was very professional, personable and made the day flow seamlessly. Take it from a very type A person, this is the woman you want to hire so you don’t need to stress at all about the small details on the day of the wedding!
Absolutely the best! As a bride who did not grow up thinking about her dream wedding and loathes the thought of being the center attention and planning parties, I quickly decided a destination wedding to somewhere amazing was a must and Niagara Falls was that destination. Being from California and knowing there was no chance of a wedding actually happening if the {now} Husband and I were left to our own planning devices, the search for a wedding planner began. KR Events & Designs were one of two planners we talked to and fell in love with their vibes immediately! I didn’t have a lot of ideas outside of wanting the ceremony at Terrapin Point, an all vegan menu and no first dance at the reception. When we found out we wouldn’t be able to get the table games we originally wanted (shuffleboard, pool, foosball, etc.) because they wouldn’t fit in the elevator, they found giant board games for us instead. With that and a few ideas we sent over from Pinterest, Keirstan absolutely killed it! I’m positive any future events we have will now have to be done in Niagara Falls ☺️
10/10 do NOT recommend. We purchased the “month of” and “day of” packages. I’m a very organized planner and really only needed her for coordinating with vendors before the big day and coordinating on the wedding day. I will start with our meeting we had over Zoom one month from our wedding. I showed up with a google document listing almost everything she needed to know- from the reception layout to photo list for photographer to decor setup information for every area of the venue. She repeatedly complimented me on my organization. Well, fast forward to rehearsal night. She shows up and we rehearse only 2x. The first time was incorrect because I told her a week prior that I wanted to inverse both families when they sit down so they really only rehearsed once correctly. The wedding party had 3 walking children in it that needed a lot more guidance. Then she rushed out of rehearsal so she can have dinner. I let it go because I trusted that she would do her job. Before she left rehearsal, I also wanted to go over a checklist of items to be done but she wanted me to just send it to her. I assured her I wanted to go through it aloud though, too, so she knew what I wanted done. I texted her later to say I added a few more items too and I texted and told her I was really worried about the bouquet getting to me on time as well as the photographer being there at 3pm for the first look.I also texted her early in the morning to warn her that my husbands grandfather passed away this morning, and I asked her if she could put a heart next to his name on the seating chart that was already created weeks prior. She didn’t reply to my previous text about the checklist and my worries, but she did reply and said she would do the heart next to his name. Then, we get to the barn for photos and the first look and we do not have the bouquet or the photographer there. She should oversee that the florals were delivered as promised as well as the lady with the camera should be at the barn. Then when we get to the ceremony and reception, I start noticing a lot of other things that have not been done that were on my checklist. I spoke about this with my husband and we decided to let it go until after. At the end of the night, she bolted out of there before we did and picking up decor before guests were gone. Two days later, I emailed her all of the items that were not completed and told her that we were not happy with the services that were provided to us and asked for a fair reimbursement for the lack of services. She emailed us back and went over each item and came up with many excuses of why these things were not completed. She blamed a lot of things on the vendors. However, in her “package details” document she just sent to us for the first time, it lists that she oversees the vendors. It also mentions a charge for taking down tables and chairs. Again, we had never seen this document until my complaint. It is her duty to coordinate with the vendors to ensure that their duties are completed. I am not happy with her professionalism as she didn’t take any accountability. She was very nasty in those emails! Keirstan even blocked me from being able to leave a review on her Facebook company page.
I was married on 6/3/23 at st. Thomas Aquinasand had my reception at Avanti mansion in the ballroom.
KR events and designs helped make my day so perfect. Kierstan is so so responsive and any questions I had she answered within hours if not minutes. She helped transport decor from ceremony to the reception and set up everything I had at both places. She even insisted on “untraditional” things I wanted at the church when the priest tried to shut them down. If anything went wrong on wedding day… I sure as hell did not know about it! Last minute I was considering a guest book and She made one for us with 2 or 3 days notice! and it’s gorgeous. Kierstan is so so organized and such a fabulous personal in general.Cost wise she is SO reasonable and SO worth it. She took the stress out of everything and really made it so easy to enjoy the day 10/10 recommend!
I actually did not use them for my wedding, as I had mine before they formed the business. But I have reached out for advice numerous times. I am an event Coordiantor for a non-profit and Keirstan's advice has been invaluable. She also created signage for my orgs first ever fundraising gala and they were beautiful. She is kind, helpful and ana amazing soul who gives 100% to every client, no matter the ask. Highly recommend her for any event you are having.
Keirstan goes above and beyond for her clients. As a photographer and videographer that has worked with her many times. I can proudly say that. She is everywhere at the same time it seems like on wedding day. Checking in, making sure everything is perfect ♡♡ highly recommend her.
She has been amazing! I was so stressed out about wedding planning and she has been there every step of the way, taking the stress off! She has been so awesome in the planning process of a wedding! I can't wait to see how smooth wedding day is going to be!!!! Highly recommend!
Keirstan made our wedding everything we'd hope it be and more! My husband and I were clueless on how to plan a wedding. She was there from the very beginning and helped us with the entire planning process. Friends and family always asked us if we were stressed or overwhelmed yet, but we never were thanks to Keirstan. The day of the wedding she took care of everything. All we had to do was enjoy our day. Not only did they help us plan our wedding, but KR Events provided us with our rental items such as napkins, decorations, arbor, and more. They even made our custom bridesmaid and groomsmen gifts. They are the best people with the biggest hearts and I would recommend them to anyone!

Keirstan & her husband were absolutely amazing and understanding during our Snowvember Wedding. I truly appreciated the constant communication and support! Due to the blizzard, we had to move our wedding a day back and I must say, despite the circumstances - we had the BEST wedding ever. It was absolutely beautiful & breathtaking. Keirstan did everything she could to help our day go as smooth as possible. We had a large wedding party & many different personalities & this duo handled everything flawlessly. We had an unforgettable experience!!! I would HIGHLY recommend their services. I’m sad that everything is over haha.

I can’t thank Kierstan and Keante enough for all they did for us on our special day. From planning, decorating, renting linen and other items, day of coordination, and take down, everything was effortless and smooth. Any mishaps that came about prior to the wedding, I was able to contact Kierstan and work it out with no issue, and Kierstan always had a solution. The professionalism is top tier, and the dedication to their clients is unmatched. Weddings are extremely stressful and overwhelming but I’m thankful for the extra set of hands and support I received from KR Events. Looking back at my wedding, without their help there was no way I would have been able to do it all and enjoy my special day. Thank you KR Events again for all you do for your clients ♥️

Keirstan and Keante were very helpful and great to work with.
We hired them 6 months before the wedding and we worked together to create a fabulous plan.
The wedding was full of joy.
They were especially very helpful in getting good vendors and coordinated with them to ensure the wedding went well.
They adapted so well into a multi cultural setting.
Keirstan made everything easier. I'm the type of person that is very hands-on and I honestly have a difficult time asking for help. Keirstan took the wheel, however, and assured us that she had everything under control, and she did. Because of her efforts, I was able to fully enjoy my wedding and not worry about anything other than being in the moment. Keirstan is thorough, dedicated, and knowledgeable and she is very responsive. Highly recommended!
I can’t say enough about the help that Keirstan provided. She was there through every step of the way and helped me overcome quite a few challenges. Being a bride living in Miami Florida and having a getaway wedding in Rochester New York was completely and utterly stressful. Keirstan made sure that I didn’t need to stress or worry about getting things done. She was always on time, clear with communication, and all-around an amazing event planner. Again I would recommend her in a heartbeat.
We hired Keirstan w/ KR Events & Designs for our 07/16/22. We had multiple appts set up to interview event coordinator's. Keirstan was our first appt. and we cancelled all the other appts.
We were completely impressed from the start w/ Keirstan's personality and thoroughness.
We had our caterer cancel due to illness 3 days before our wedding and I put an SOS out on FB and Keirstan called me seconds later. We chatted for a bit and then she was on the phone, making calls and trying to find a new caterer.
Wedding day- Keirstan decorated our reception tables, and hung the tons of baby's breath bouquets we made.
She kept our bridal party in line and got them in their places to enter fir the ceremony and then again for the reception.
She met the vendors as they arrived onsite, the caterer, bakery, photographer, DJ, florist and ice cream truck.
She was an intrical part of our wedding day. Keirstan should definitely be part of your special day!!!
I cannot speak highly enough about Keirstan! From the very beginning she was an excellent listener and communicator. She was always a text message or email away and she thoroughly explained everything and made sure no detail was over looked. She made sure to be present for any important pre-wedding events and coordinated with my family members as well. Having her there for the wedding planning helped reassure me that I was on the right track and having her there for the actual day meant that I got to relax and enjoy my wedding and I knew everything would be taken care of. She truly we t above and beyond, do yourself a favor and book her! You will not regret it.
Kierston of Kr events was amazing to work with, we had a wedding planner drop out of our wedding last minute and she was right there getting everything in my vision for my wedding taken care of, taking my around the clock phone calls and also handling all vendor communication with was a big help. The day of she was there at the open of our venue to coordinate with venue, place my decor, set tables, and guide vendors and guest where to go. My table cloths did not fit the tables and this gem even used her own personal identical ones so that my day was not ruined. Honestly can say I didn’t have to worry about a thing, she kept the flow going perfectly! She even took down and packed all decor at concluding of the event. I would highly recommend KR Events!
Keirstan was great to work with right from the start. We met virtually to discuss our needs from a coordinator before signing a contract. I felt like she really understood what we wanted and needed. The week of our wedding I really didn't have to deal with anything vendor related, and the day-of was so smooth! Keirstan made sure everyone and everything was in place at the right time and we literally did not have a single concern all day. We are so grateful to Keirstan and I would highly recommend working with her!
I can’t put into works how amazing Keirstan was with K&R Events. First of all they were extremely affordable. My husband and I decided to do a backyard wedding and let me tell you from day one Keirstan was nothing but a huge help. I initially found her on Facebook just casually scrolling through one of the Wedding pages I was apart of and immediately messaged her. She got back to me within minutes and we immediately set up a zoom meeting. Keirstan is so genuine and down to earth that talking to her on the phone was a breeze. We immediately had a connection. How she is able to connect with others is truly amazing. She asked ALL the right questions for our consultation. During the months of planning the wedding I didn’t reach out to Keirstan unless I really needed her but she always took time out of her day or week to wish me a happy holidays , etc and just casually check in. The month leading up to the wedding she called and spoke with all of my vendors; we rented a tent, a porta potty trailer, had it catered, and hired family friends to do DJ and photography. Keirstan was always on top of everything and reached out to everyone. The days leading up to the wedding Keirstan came
out to our house (the place where the wedding was being held) for our rehearsal dinner and made sure everything would flow smoothly. She always came prepared had all her papers printed and was ready to work. Luckily for us K&R events and designs actually rents out wedding decor so we were able to rent our table clothes for all tables, and burgundy napkins to go with my color scheme. It saved me having to spend money on stuff I would never use again. The day of the wedding she showed up at 11 am and started setting up. I truly can’t express how much she was a huge help the day of the wedding. She came HOURS earlier set EVERYTHING up which looked absolutely perfect. She made she we were all out time to walk down the isle, she even played music from our own speaker to make sure we had music for the wedding ceremony. She helped our bartenders know what to do, she was working hand in hand with our DJ all night and made it her number one priority to make sure my husband and I were taking care of. She would come over every 10 minutes or so and say “are you guys good do you need anything?”. She would not even let us get our own wedding food!! She made she everyone was lined up and in perfect order for the entrances into the reception. She was on top of everything we got our dances done and cut the cake. Our wedding was probably most of the “low key” weddings she has ever done bc it was in our backyard HOWEVER that does not take away from the fact that she did a massive amount of work. Just making sure all of the people we hired were doing their job, stocking the bar, making sure the DJ was on top of any announcements, refilling food on appetizer tables, the list goes on and on… She always made good suggestions, and gave good advice of what she would advise us to do in every situation. She single handed cleaned up and put away the entire wedding. Making sure all my wedding decor was put away and always asking me important questions. NEVER at all was she a bother. She truly did absolutely anything help make our day absolutely perfect. Not one time was I ever worried about anything bc I knew it was taken care of. With all that being said I 100% recommend Keirstan with K&R events to do all you wedding needs!
Keirstan and Keante went above and beyond to not only make us beautiful custom decor for our bit special day but they made sure to be there for us every step of the way with figuring out everything and planning. They set up everything for me exactly how i envisioned it, they are such beautiful people and they made our day stress free and perfectly. They really go above expected for such a reasonable price and honestly I don’t know what i would of done on my wedding day without them there! 10/10 reccomend to EVERYONE!
